Dear Sir,

I recieved a call from ICICI lombard for medical insurance. They explained me the policy and i was interested and finally i agreed to take policy for mysel-NITA KAPOOR and my brother AJIT Kapoor. After 2 days i afain recieved call and ICICI people said that they cannot offer mediclaim policy to my brother as the limit in credit card is less. I told them that i am look ing for a group policy and want policy for both o[censored]s. They said that is not poosible. INstatly on the same pcall i gave them confirmation that i will not be interested in taking policy and hence told them not to go forward with it.

Too my shock when i recieved my credit card ststement premium for my policy was charged.Despite of telling them not to go for the policy they activated my policy. when we called the call centre they told that now policy is active and 30% of he policy fee while deducted on cancel. I made it very clear that when i have not gone for ploicy why should i cancel it.It was made clear either provide policy for both or none. This was made clear still this fraud was done by them.They are saying that now nothing can be done and were very rude on phone. Why should i pay whaen i never gave confirmatiuon.

Now that money is reflection in my credit card statement. Request you to kindly get the policy cancelled get my full amount credited in credit catd statement.Details are as follows-

Today morning i am notified by my car washer that there has been a theft of my deck and that my car window has been broken into.
I rush to the site, call up ICICI and below are the flow of events

1) Call To ICICI to Buy Policy - 01 July 2015, Call time: 05:03 PM
As part of purchase of policy, i had a call with ICICI Lombard. The call was recorded to resolve disputes or queries arriving in the future.
First Lie: I was informed for filing claim - ICICI charges Rs 1000/-. This is a standard charge which is paid to government and is applicable to all insurance companies.
Issue: The government does not require this charges. Bharti AXA does not charge anything for filing claims.

2) Call to ICICI for Intimation 9th July, Call time : 08:13 AM
My car stereo was stolen. My car window has been broken into. I intimate ICICI Lombard.
Second Lie: I was told that ICICI would be putting in 2 claims -
1 for own damage for breaking of window and 1 for theft of my car stereo. For own damage i would have to put pay Rs 1000/-.
OWN DAMAGE for breaking of window which was part of theft.
After screaming and shouting they agreed to put both of the issues together in a single claim of theft for which there is no charges.
Issue: ICICI is looking out to make profits out of cheating

Third Issue: During Filing of complaint i was told to provide a time.
I clearly mentioned that i can give a timeline between 10 PM to 8 AM.
They said we need a single time to put in the document.
How can a person know what time has the theft occured. There are no eye witnesses . Completely illogical. After heated debate and escalation, they agreed to take that into account

I was promised a surveillance in 24 hours.

I had mentioned that i would be doing repairs at a garage of my choice. They told that should not be a problem

3) Call from ICICI : 10:54
To Notify the choice of garage and stating that car has to be at the workshop.
After stating that i had clearly mentioned in the morning that I would do it at a garage of my choice. They finally give in and say ok.
Fourth Lie: Why lie stating that i need to have my car at a workshop of their choice

4) Call To ICICI : 06:38 PM
To confirm time of survey person coming to visit the site. They said please take contact number and contact yourself.
ICICI is the service provider and is responsible to have the contact person allocated and notify the consumer accordingly.
I give in and call the survey contact person at 07:00, the guy said he cannot come and another guy looks at my locality.
The second contact person says, i am not responsible i will provide you with a number. And he says that he expected the car to be at the workshop prior to even evaluating the theft.
I said i would only give it to workshop after the theft claim is properly honored and then claim for reimbursement. i ask him, when can i expect him to survey and he was like maybe tommorrow.


5) Call to ICICI : 07:21 PM
Fed up, i call icici and ask them to ensure that the survey happens in 24 hours asthey promised. they state that i need to contact the survey person.
I inform them that i would be making a complaint to ombudsman if i do not get a reponse back in 5 min. No response.

This is a pathetic case of a consumer taken in for a ride and inconvenience to the core.
Staying in a heritage area of matunga, we do not have parking slots and live in 3 floor building.
We have to park the cars on road, and in a scenario like today, we cannot keep our cars open whole night with rains flooding in and damaging the car further.
The site needs to be examined at the moment, when the issue happened and the claim acceptance of survey shhould have been completed.

After request to the building owners, i have moved in the car to my own building under shed with glass all within the car.
The organization has not stood up to their words of Nibhayein waada but have kept on lying over and over again and giving false promises.

I have not yet filed a claim, moved the car to a workshop still awaiting the survey visit.
We as customers are begging for service, calling up survey agents setup by icici instead of icici making sure to their promises,
We are lied about the claims, stating that the claim money is given to government and is a standard.
We are forced to claim under own damage for a clear incident of theft for their personal gain.
There is a limit to lying and cheating.

All of the calls to ICICI has been recorded by ICICI. Please take the needful action against icici for fraudalent, unlawful activities and charge a heavy penalty for the inconvenience caused to consumers by organizations like ICICI.

    No Claim Certificate" for the subject motor insurance policy MAR10348706 dt 16.10.2009 This policy on behalf of shakti motors fatehabad.now I has been not claimed my ncd amount,and no amount has been given to us till date.
    We dont want any claim just want the NCB certificate but the icici not issued ncb certificate.

      Sir
      I have purchaged online car insurance policy no 3001/W-2420503/00/000 dated 16/01/2011 and i made the online payment of Rs. 5448 /- vide my ICICI Bank Account no[protected] and 17/1/2011 the surveyor of the ICICI Lombard came and inspected my vehicle no DL 6CG 7455 but the surveyer sumitted his unsatisfactory report and 18/1/2011 my policy was cancelled and promised to refund my amount within three days . it is regretfully sumitted that I have made every day call to his call centre no [protected] and sent email request to refund my premium amount but ICICI LOMBARD General Insurance co. is not refunding my amount . it is a breach of contract and violation of consumer rights.

      ICICI Lombard — Policy Contract Breach

      The complain is in context of breach in contract by Insurance company.

      The insurer has charged client for INR 250 for the Nil Endorsement, which was passed to make changes in policy terms. Not only this in another policy the premium they charged is on the Shortperiod Calculation basis, instead of Prorata calculation.

      All above terms and condition are not written in policy terms and condition, after raising voice against this, the insurer i.e ICICI Lombard GIC Ltd. said " It's there internal policy changed in the months of Jan 09".

      There was no communication or intimation was given to the client prior to deduction. This type of ammendment or change in contract should be made during the policy period must be by the consent of both the party, where as situation here is totally unacceptable.

      I hereby request you to plz take the necessary action against this.

        Dear Sir,

        I am B.Prabhakar from Hyderabad, my Grand Mother having ICICI lombod Health Insurance from August 2010. On 17/1/2011 she has admited in M/s.Sree Hrishikash Hospetal in Uppal Ranga reddy dist because of some reaction of injection. After admiting in hospital we submited insurance claim for Rs.35000 firstly they approval after taking all the avdences then when we submited for final approval of hospital bill for Rs. 41,377/- they have rejected for whole amount which was approved first including of that amount. When we asked at toll free / customer care no they are saying that the patient is suffering with pre diabites so for that reason we are rejected the bill.

        so what give me some advice for claiming that amount

          Dear Sir / Madam,
          I, Reza Mulla, have put a request for claim for my vehicle which is under insurance with ICICI LOMBARD on the 24th of December. Until now no processing is been done from ICICI and I weas assured by their employee named Shreejit from ICICI Andheri east branch that they have recieved all documents and the claim will be settled on Monday (i.e. 17th of January). But until now it has not been settlted and on top of that Mr. Shreejit has threatened me and asked me to do whatever i can and nothing will happen to me. So now I am stuck and do not know what to do. I just want my claim to be settled as soon as possible. And I do not know how ICICI is employing such people who do not respect the customers and help them out. Kindly do the needful.

          policy claim — Too much delay in policy claim

          Dear Sir/Mam,

          I am the relative of the policy holder : who died on oct 1st due to the current short circuit , he belongs to the Medak Branch,Andrapradesh,india, itz almost 80 days he died and we already submitted all the details regarding the policy claim, but we didn't receive any replay from the branch till today where should i go and ask ?
          Reza, best thing is to contact your agent.
          If you did not buy through a good agent but direct then this is the problem, many time we wont know the procedures. Last time icici contact me direct to renew at lower rates, but found the low rates were as policy benefits were watered down and value made very low about 15% depreciation for one year, also they remove personal accident and other benefits as happened to others when I discussed.
          This is how online rates are low by cheating and not informing us.

            I have made a claim for my vehicle as it met with an accident on the 23rd of December. Claim no. is MOT 01851909. It was told to me that all the documentation and processing has been completed by ICICI i will be recieving the claim check ob Monday ( 17th january ), and this was told to me by your employee Mr. Shreejit. But now he is not answering to any of my calls and avoiding to talk to me, i do not know why he is chickening out like this. Also, Mr Ashish from your Kolhapur branch is not helping me out on the matter and creating a lot of problems.
            I would like you to investigate the matter and get back to me as soon as possible. awaiting your reply.

              Dear sir, I had been to the insurance office to renew my policy,but I saw nobody interested to do the procedure And everyone is busy oiling their own machines. somehow I finished my job & they told me that they will inform me for the insurance copy. As usual they forgot, as I went their they started giving me reasons. Secondly I was shocked to listen that not a single printer is working in I.C.I.C.I LOMBARD INSURANCE OFFICE. So for the next trip is the office going to pay me for the PETROL, OFFICE BUNK & IF THE TRAFFIC POLICE STOPS ME FOR THE SAME.Only one person attending the customer(multiple) & the others just chitchatting about some trip/food/upwas/films.IS THE OFFICE OPEN FOR THE CUSTOMERS OR FOR SOME ARROGANT LITERATE COMPUTER OPERATORS.
              THIS WAS THE SOFT COPY SEND TO ME BY THE ARROGANT LITERATE COMPUTER OPERATORS.

                It appears with your provided details that you had your interaction with TTK HEALTHCARE which was a TPA [ Third Party Administrator - an organization that processes insurance claims for a separate entity.For your information this can be viewed as "outsourcing" the administration of the claims processing, since the TPA is performing a task traditionally handled by the company providing the insurance.They are normally contracted by a health insurer or self-insuring companies to administer services, including claims administration, premium collection, enrollment and other administrative activities.] of ICICI LOMBARD GIC LTD.

                But now they are not working in tieup with this Insurance Company.

                    I am D.Sivakumar residing at mylapore .Ihold an icici credit card for past 4yrs . An executive called from the bank regarding ICICI lombard GIC policy .He informed me about the policy detail .I too aggred to hold the policy . He informed me to pay my EMI through my icici credit card .He said me a conformation call from the bank will arrive veryshortly i too accepted the conformation call.

                    As aggred i paid eight EMIS through my card with out receiving the policy .I have spoke to the customer care officer several times but no responce from your side . Afrer a month my card has been deactivated. without receiving any policy how do i make the payment i don't want to continu your policy. "Plscontact me [protected].

                      ICICI Lombard is one hope less and greedy company.

                      One of my car is old and I was renewing policy with ICICILombard regularly from last 3 years..No claims until now. This year, they are not allowing me to renew, reason they won't mention directly, but my understanding is that the policy premium is low, so they are not interested. They want money and will consider only new vehicles, where premium amount is high.

                      Even for renewal they are creating so many issues, I don't expect how horrible it will be in case of claims. I request everyone to avoid ICICILombard and go with Govt. agencies like General Insurance etc..

                        Tenure of Policy: 5 Years
                        Policies remained effective for 684 Days i.e. 37% of 5 years
                        Refund awaited: Rs. 100,132.91 i.e. 37% of Rs. 160,160.00

                        Following are my issues:
                        1. When I close the loan the Policy discontinue automatically. ICICI Lombard did not send the refund of balance premium.
                        2. After repetitive follow-ups when I submitted written complaint dated 1-May-09 in their Gurgaon Office at MG Road, I was informed verbally that the premium will be charged until 1-May-09. When I asked them why so when policy benefits were available to me until 6-Sep-08, they had no answer and asked me to mention in the written request which I did.
                        3. After never ending followup over phone and emails, I was given assurance that they refund has been sent which never reached me.

                        The pain of never ending follow-up has been much more than the peace of mind for which I had paid Rs. 160,160 to ICICI Lombard.

                        I seek your intervention in the following:
                        1. ICICI must pay me Rs. 100,132.91 along with interest @ 18% since 6-Sep-08 until the date of payment to me.
                        2. ICICI pays me another Rs. 160,160 on account of mental pain caused to me by their harrassment.
                        3. ICICI is instructed to stop cheating customers by charging them premium for period post closure of the loan post which policy benefits discontinue.

                        I am 66 years old; my wife &amp; I hold a ICICI Lombard health insurance policy since last 9 years and have been receiving no claim bonus for years. This time i received the renewal notice in which my premium has been hiked from under Rs 17000 to over Rs 45000/-. On enquiry they simply said that they have changed their policy; there is no justification. Is this how you treat loyal &amp; profitable customer?

                              I have taken my policy with ICICI lombard for my bike TVS apache, policy # 3005/[protected]/b/[protected], at the time of taking policy the agent never asked me whether i had made any claims in my previous policy or not & gave me NCB - 25 %, which is Rs 197/-, which i came to know just now when i asked for a claim. As i met an accident, i filed a claim (#MOT[protected], an agent with name Mr.Rajashekar visited the showroom & asked all docs & asked whether i made any claims for which i answered " Yes". He took the estimate, which came around Rs 5000/- odd and ticked & signed on it. But he infd while going there may be some problem with the NCB, which i had taken. I thought this might be a minot issue and they may ask to pay it and revise my policy, istead he called me & says this claim cannot be processed for this reason & asked to pay the NCB to reinstate the policy. This was never expected from a company having a nationwide reputation. I informed him that this was never my mistake as agent never asked me or i could have paid it. For which he said, he will confirm from regional head & again called me & said, yes it can be processed but will confirm after forwarding the mail to them. It has been 5 days till date. My claim was made on 25th Feb, since then i have been making endless calls & answer remains same. I did not get any revert. When i call to customer care [protected] for complaining they dont have any complaint desk, they provided some managers # (girish & some other person). I spoke to him & says this is invalid policy. So, is it responsibility of company to verify it before giving policy or mine whether the person had made claim or not. "ICICI LOMBARD IS MAKING REASONS TO ESCAPE THE CLAIM CHARGES"

                                  With regards to your provided details ; it is appearing at ICICI LOMBARD GIC LTD. that the patient was undergone through the treatment of CATARACT - A treatment which is usually have a pre-existing condition.

                                  You should note that with your availed policy there are mainly 2 types of Exclusions for PRE EXISTING CONDITION :

                                  1. 2 years Exclusion
                                  2. 4 years Exclusion

                                  Please note that Pre existing Condition is a risk with extant causes that is not readily compensated by standard, affordable insurance premiums. Pre-existing condition exclusions by the insurance industry are meant to cope with adverse selection by potential customers.

                                  It is said that Pre existing Diseases usually have a previous history and immediate treatment can very well be lingeron based on type of disease.In other words one may understand that to get the cover of this kind of disease the policy should not be interrupted by a period of 24 and 48 months based on disease. The amount of time you had “credible” health insurance coverage can be used to offset a pre-existing condition exclusion period in your new health plan.

                                  CATARACT is one of them and it requires the age of 2 complete years of policy to cover its expences.

                                  You should certainly go through your policy documents to have a look to the details about your PRE EXISTING DISEASE exclusions [ AS PER PART II OF THE SCHEDULE EXCLUSION 3.3, EXPENSES INCURRED ON TREATMENT OF CATARACT WITHIN IN THE FIRST TWO YEARS FROM THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE POLICY NOT PAYABLE ].

                                      After service they give me bill amount about 3000. I paid the bill
                                      but icici Lombard not give me the clamed amount. In-between I talk to
                                      alots of customer care executive but the r unable to return my clamed
                                      amount.MR VARUN superviser assure me that I will recive my cheq in 5
                                      days but it past more than 2 month.
