my complaint is regarding the money not refunded to me even after 2 months of requesting the company.
i had applied for an health insurance but icici rejected my proposal and returned me the cheque but with my incomplete name on it and hence no bank accepted the cheque in fact am holding an account with icici bank even icici bank did not accept it saying ask icici lombard for a new cheque with a full name and hence i couriered back the cheque in the month of jan 2010 with a letter asking for a new cheque as well as i provided the pod number of the courier and even a pdf copy of my pan card. and am been writing emails as well as calling icici lombard for the same in order to inquire when am i going to get the cheque but till date as on 8/03/2010 i have not received a proper reply from the company they are just asking for more days. my policy complaint number is 4034i/ff4/w-1338141/00/000. with icici lombard as per emails.

Dear sir/Madam,

I have lombard policy. I am getting for two years.But i have received card for one year validity.Now i have second year bill in Credit card. I will pay the premium after receiving card for second year only.

    Request your intimation in getting my Claim for the medical expenses which i have incurred on my mother's treatment,Please refer the trail mail you will come to know in detail...

    My Two Claims i.e[protected] &[protected] have been rejected and i do not know what is the reason,When i call your Customer care they put on hold on they disconnect the call without providing reason....

    A message from your customer care received which tells "your claim is being process" After while again a message received which states your claim is rejected, what is the reason of rejection.       I appeared the IRDA general insurance agent online test in the Month May 2008 in NewDelhi( LIC Jeevan Prakash Building, Cannaught Place) for ICICI LOMBARD GENERAL INSURANCE and after test I was informed that I got success with 78%. After some days I received a mail from the ICICI LOMBARD GENERAL INSURANCE to create Online Manager account and I successfully created the account but due to some personal reason I couldn't do the any business.

      I several time contacted to the cencern person to get my IRDA certificate, earlier they told that it will take time to reach so you should wait for some months. After some months again I contacted then he told will check and tell you. Next I contacted then got information he left the company and I got another concern person contact phone who was taking care the liscence. I requested to him he tried to check the IRDA certificate in his database but he couldn't found.

      Therefore I request to provide me the certificate for which I have paid Rs. 2000 around and also studied too much to pass the test. Some releted information are as follows:-

      ICICI Lombard General Insurance — Repay the amount for ICICI Lombard Insurance

      Dear Team,

      This is Narashimhan. I am staying in Bangalore. I have been using credit card no. [protected] since July'07 to till date. I am not getting credit card bill from the beginning. I had already informed inspite of time to your customer care for send the bills. Meanwhile, i have got credit card statement for January'08 month on February'08. In that bill you have put the sum of Rs. 337.37 for ICICI Lombard General Insurance on date 11/01/2008. I am not yet applied for the same Please understand without acknowledge of my permission, how the concern person produce this statement. I have also paid the amount. Because I don't want to pay the extra interest for forthcoming month. Please cancel that particular insurance and repay the amount of Rs. 337.37. Whenever I need I will be apply for the same. Please do the needful to continue my Credit card a/c to do normal use of transaction.

      I am also an account holder for saving a/c since 2003. I am very happy for the all the service giving from ICICI Bank to the customer-end.

      I hopeful this obligation to be consider and also I ensure to continue my transaction for this reputated bank for the both Savings A/c and also Credit card A/c.

      ICICI Lombard General Insurance — Not yet received the policy documents

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I have not yet received the original renewed policy documents for my Cover note no. e[protected]. I have renewed the policy on 9th march 2008 through my HDFC account (Net banking) and the amount is duly credited with the value dated 9th March 2008. Despite repeted follow ups with the customer care people I have not received any concrete answer for the same.       I have applied online for motor insurance through icici lombard.The policy was not given to me stating that vehicle was not fit for policy where as surveyor never visited and checked the vehicle.

      When i asked for refund for amount taken for policy lombard personells are asking for my credit card statements which i have already sent.

      i am following up from them from last 6 months but there has been no firm commitment., i am mentally harrsed.

      I have written mails in this regrd to icici and they are just not looking upon their records and want to verify my records whether i have paid money or not.This is rediculous and utter nonsense.

      I have been charged Rs.5300 in my credit card statement towards a ICICI Lombard general inurnace Policy that too in not my name. This is a real cheating. Funnisest part of after they realized that they have made a mistake stil I am wasting my time coordinating with them for the refund, appreciate if I get any help in terms of who should I be taking this next with. actually I am coordinatng with one fo the customer service manager but I am not satisfied wit the response.

      i was meet and accident on 28th march-2009 at jamnagar dwarka highway 11 km far from jamnagar. i have give my tavera car to repair at authorise gm motors workshop at rajkot. my tavera car insurance policy from icici lombarad general insurance. my car is repair and ready but insurance compny have do them procedure late . and therefore they have avoid to give me chashless benifit. so gm motors give me my car on my responsiblity. but insurance company have not get any steps for the case. my claim no. is mot01072026

      ICICI Lombard General Insurance — Fraudulent ways of Pushing their Insurance Policy

      I am Haresh Shah from Mumbai, India. On 20th April 2009, I had got a call from some Mr. Abhishek Sharma (Phone No. [protected]) stating that if I agree to accept an insurance policy and later reject it, my credit limit would be increased to 90 thousand INR. Falling prey to their trap, I did agree to go for it and later got a confirmation call from them, asking me all sorts of questions to which, as told by their fraudulent employee, I answered yes. I was told I would get another confirmation call, in which I have to say no, and later my policy would be canclled in 45 days. But later, to my dismay, no such thing happened, and the company kept on deducting EMis from my credit card and even my Card Limit was blocked to the policy premium amount. Later, when I called up on their helpline (NO. [protected]), I get to know that they do not make 2 calls but just one call for the policy, and that now I would have to bear CANCELLATION CHARGES OF 1700 ODD RUPEES. This is a clear case of white collar theft, and I am raising it here for others to beware of such fraudulent calls from these day-light robbers. I am also going to raise this issue in the Consumer Forum. But others, please take care and never heed to such false calls leading to a well planned company trapping policy to just snatch money out of our pockets. I would rather prefer these people to get down on streets with bowls and start begging rather than cheating people like this. Atleast by begging they won't get curses of people.

      ICICI Lombard General Insurance — No information, no Card given

      After a call from Lombard they charged me on my credit card for 2 years general insurance. After which i never heard from them. Neither they send me any acknowledgement, info on the insurance benefits, no TTK card given. After 1 year when i write to their customer care, they promised to send me the card, which after 2 years full service period is over have never sent. They have hidden the service benefits from me. They call again at the end of the tenure for renewal.
      I have not been able to go for treatment for the want of heavy bills which can arise.

      I exchanged some discussions with customer care regarding this, they are not ready to compensate with anything or not been able to do anything.

      ICICI Lombard General Insurance — Fraud and Malpractice

      I had applied for Mediclaim for Winne Correa my mother, age 63. At the time of applying for the same the agent of the company mentioned that there would not be any medical check up for the policy to be issued, thus went ahead with the process. The agent asked me to pay for the same - I made a check of Rs6881 immediately, written in favour of Icicilombardgeneralinsurance. After the application was processed I was informed that my mother would have to go through the medical check, i immediately asked for a refund. Spoke with the contact centre at [protected] (Nishant) who mentioned the needful woould be done, later on spoke with the manager of the contact centre as well - Lolita, who confirmed the same. I am awaiting for the refund since then, it has been 25 days, and now those guys are not even answering my calls. I hope this compaint may expedite the process.
      I have been mislead while selling the policy by the agent of ICICI prudential life insurance i was told to pay 20, 000 one time which will be doubled in 3 years but later i got to know that i have to pay more premiums if i dont pay further premium then my initial payment will be nullified i was niot aware of thiis rule since i was not informed about it while buying the product similarkly my sister had also invested 30, 000 in the same scheme. I would like to get back my initial payment hence i need your help please guide me.

      i have not received any intimation call for qualifiication as ICICI LOMBARD AGENT FOR INSURANCE , even i have paid the amount Rs 1500/- in AUG08 and since than even after reminding to some persons who were working at the time of call in ICICI LOMBARD like MR. ATUL & as remember MR. JASWIR SINGH , but presently no person is available for contact and I do not have any way to contact through phone or get a assurance to get the status of this paid money has gone in which account.
      Pls pass on this message to concerned branch and request this branch concerned persons to reply suitably for the same.

      Dear All:

      This is a typical case of my wife receiving such calls and ended up in purchasing by force an unwanted ICICI Lombard GIC policy ( No: 4034/FPS/40216242/00/000). After repeated followup and request to revert back the policy, there seems to be no response or reaction from either the agency or the ICICI bank credit card division. This is pure organised crime. Worst situation is you are charged interest to the policy payment by the ICICI Credit card agency inspite of you make advance payments also. This blood sucking contiunes like leeches without your awareness, such sad stories are not spoken out or completely subverted. It is my concern that there will be hundred's of such cases.

      We need help to resolve this and repair such bad practises done by such organisations.

        Hi,

        My car policy no. is 3001/54941419/01/001 and few days back I met with a accident. While going to my native place my car collapsed with a wild cow and the car was at the speed of around 110 km. and due to side collision with cow and fast speed of car cow was pushed away few meters and car loose it's balance so there were few minor breakdowns -
        Due to collision with cow - Left side of bonut was damaged.
        Due to disbalance of car - Left side of car had minor scratch.

        So I hand-over the car to ABC Motors, Gurgaon on 15th Feb-2010 and today i.e. 17th Feb 2010 survey of car was done by Mr. Ashok. He passed the claim of bonut damage but he did not cleared the claim for minor damage (Scratch) at the left portion of car. Inspite of long arguing with him he is not passing the claim.

        Please let me know how it is possible that if the car is having some damage then instead of passing the claim for full reparing he is allowing partial reparing of car. It means that I have to spend my money for other damages it this is the case then next time I am not going to use ICICI car policy and will never refer anyone to avail policy from ICICI. This is first car claim on this policy out of 5 years then also he is not passing very minor amount of claim.

        FYI- My claim no is MOT01446059.

        Please provide me solution as your earliest.

        I have taken maruti insurance claim for my car alto DL8C R 2520 ON JULY 26, 2010.
        but I have recd only rs. 750/- for crane charges for towing of my vehicle in stead of rs. 1200/ bill.so kindly get my rs. 450/- reimbursed..
        But i know that rs. 1500/- can be reimbursed.

        I also have been called by company official and they promised to send Rs. 450/- reimbursed
        by way of COURIER. BUT TILL DATE I HAVE NOT RECD. ANY AMT

          I purchased a motorcycle Hero Honda HUNK from R.K.AUTOMOBILES Dated on 13.10.2008 . After fourteen month dated 12.10.09 my motorcycle hero honda hunk DL-5SY 4770 accident & damaged fuel tank ( IRON ) & cowl R FR.Side( Plastic ) , I Claimed for this I Paid total bill Rs.4680.00 ( fuel tank-Rs.4400/other Rs.280) , Company told me they will charge on iron item 10% and Plastic 50% but when received claiming amout Rs.3219.00. They charges to me 30% on Iron fuel tank.

          ICICI LOMBARD GENERAL INSURANCE CO.LTD — POLICY IS CANCELLED BUT STILL PREMIUM IS DEDUCTED

          I have renewed the policy from ICICI lombard with the policy no - 4034I-FPP[protected] & SAME HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO PERSONAL REASON.. BUT THE PREMIUM IS DEDUCTED FROM MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT, WEHREAS THE POLICY IS ALSO CANCELLED, I HAVE DONE THE 5-10 FOLLOW UPS FOR THE PREMIUM REFUND BUT NOT GOT THE RESPONSE FROM THEIR END.Reply got from them is " we have not received any attachement from my end' but i have already forwarded the Credit Card Statement to them. need propoer revert from ICICI lomabard.

IDV was Rs.4149720 only. The vehicle met with an accdent and company declared as total loss and pay to us Rs.3998500+ Rs.1500 deduct as a clause but till date Rs.149720 still pending with ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd., besides our many reminders to the concerned company persons, Mr. Harman at Chandigarh and Mr. Aman at Amritsar. Please pay attention towards this matter.

              Dear Sir / Madam,

              I have taken a mediclaim policy for my parents in May.2008 having policy No.4034/FPP/03609981/00/000 from ICICI Lombard. I have filed a mediclaim to the TPA of ICICI Lombard (TTK Healthcare Services TPA Pvt. Ltd) on 18/12/2009 for Rs17375.37 for treatment of PARAPHYMOSIS for my father Mr.Ashok Gupta. It has been close to 2 months since I have filed the claim and I have also submitted the short fall as per their requirement on 31/12/2009.

              I am regularly following with TPA and ICICI Lombard, but they said we are still wainting for varification of ducuments from senior doctors. I have also send two e-mails to TTK but they did not bothered to reply any of them. I have been mently harassed by both the companies. I have also compalined to ICICI Lombard with my service requurement No.21011049 but they did not done anything.

              Normally, the processing and payment of claim takes close to 21-30 days but its has been two months but nothing is done.


              I request the H'able forum to look it to the matter and facilitate me for the releaee of my payment.

                Sir, First of all excuse me if there exists a rule saying that no insurance need to given for two wheelers after 5 years of manufacture about which I am not aware of, otherwise this is purely a cheating case. In my case I had an insurance with Lombard which was getting expired on Jan 21st 1010. I tried to renew it thru online as I was doing in previous years, this time when I tried it was saying that my renewal notice was not updated in their database. I contacted their call center and they informed me that there database is having some complaints and I will definitely get a call within 48 hours. I waited for 2 weeks for thier call and nothing happened, I called them up couple more times and always giving the same answer. after two months I took the insurance through Oriental insurance company, there the amount was too less for me and have all the facilities of lombard. So i advice all the ppl who is reading this not to go for any pvt insurance. I am the great looser in this game as i thought that no claims will grant me a huge bonus next time.

                  icici lombard car insurance — Adjusted Insurance Premium amount not refunded

                  HI,

                  It is to draw your kind attention that I am having a very bad experience with ICICI Lombard regarding my car insurance and I am not getting back my refund amount.

                  The insurance policy details are as below :

                  1st policy no.3001/50413227/00/000 w.e.f 00:00 03/10/2006 to 02/10/2007

                  2nd policy no. 3001/52528824/00/000 w.e.f 00:00 23/09/2007 to 22/09/2008 for Rs.9530.00

                  2nd policy no. 3001/50413227/01/B00 w.e.f 00:00 16/10/2007 to 15/10/2008 for Rs.7987.00

                  3rd policy no. 3001/50413227/02/000 w.e.f 00:00 16/10/2008 to 15/10/2009 for Rs.5260.00

                  The 1st policy was OK.

                  For the 2nd policy (3001/52528824/00/000) I already paid them Rs. 9530.00, but since this amount is more than what I should have paid, they cancelled the previous 2nd policy and created a new policy (3001/50413227/01/B00) whose actual sum is Rs.7987.
                  But I still did not receive the rest adjusted amount (Rs. 9530 - Rs. 7987) = Rs. 1543.00 till date after repeated calls and visit to ICICI Lombard office.

                  For the 3rd policy (3001/50413227/02/000) I gave them a check for the mentioned amount Rs. 5260.00, but later I came to know that they cancelled that policy because my check was bounced.
                  First of all there was no reason of the check getting bounced and even if the check bounced then I should be intimidated for that before lapsing or cancelling the policy.
                  Neither did they intimidate me regarding the bouncing of check, nor did they returned back me the check.

                  I shall be highly obliged if you kindly look into this matter at the earliest so that I can get back my own money.

                    I have renewed my Existing two wheeler policy with ICICI Lombard and I was told by the executive that I will receive the policy in couple of mins at my mail id as well as online. But I did not get the same till evening same day then again I made a call to the Customer care (Executives does not seem to be trained) and the response was that we do not send the policy immediately and it will take 24-48 hours. And no provision to send the cover note that is generated on the website. So there is difference of opinions in the words of two different words. And For your knowledge I did not receive the same till date and above all I did not receive any kind of message or mail or any thing for my policy. I know this just cause of knowing that I have made a payment. I am not sure whether they are really worried to provide any kind of service.


                    Still I am getting calls from ICICI Lombard regarding calls to renew the same. What is this at all?


                    Till date no communication from ICICI Lombard side regarding the policy booking either by SMS or by Mail and by any other means.

                    That’s the quality of service.

                    My suggestion never go for ICICI Lombard.

                          I have been given a quote of Rs 7200 as annual premium for insuring my 2004 Reva car under ICICI Lombard by the Reliance Finance guy (Nagabhushan) at a Reliance Fresh outlet in Bangalore. I proceeded to pay the amount as a cheque. The Reliance Finance guy gave me a cash reciept stating that he has taken the money but not stating for what. This was done on Friday 22nd Jan and he promised that the policy will be issued and sent to my email id on 25th Jan Monday. Today is Friday 29th Jan and I have made atleast a hundred calls to Nagabhushan and his ICICI Lombard counterpart Dhanjay. They give some lame excuse and keep postponing the date. Not sure whether I will ever recieve the policy.

                          My view is - do not go to private insurers even for convenience sake. They are more inconvenient than the Public sector Insurance providers

                            "This is regarding the policy no-3005/w-1466146/00/000, in the name of Mr. Pramod ku. sharma dated as on 6th Jan 2010 which was made by customer care executive Ms. Jaya Laxmi. Basically she made wrong policy, this policy is actually in the name of Mr. Manu Dutt Sharma which was made by me and she misinterpret with the names thats why I cancel the policy and made a new one from her and she tell us that the policy will be cancelled within 24 hours and also refund the money, but after that policy was not cancelled by her, I also talk to Mr. Sanjay who is senior team member of your company, they give us so many reference no fopr this purpose but till now they are not able to cancel the policy and I even get the hard copy of policy through post. I request your customer support team to transfer line to any senior people who can handle this case properly but they are not ready to transfer calls. I request you to please help me on cancel the policy and try to improve the customer support team who are not capable to make correct policy. First they make wrong policy even we give the right information and after that they make wrong commitment.

                            Hope you will make this favorable to me.

Everything has been finished and verified and till date i have not received the amount in spite of several requests. Very idiotic irresponsible service from ICICI.                                   I have agreed for the health policy wherein i gave my credit card for the EMI option.
                                  But without my approval they used my card and swiped for the complete one time payment. when i called customer service they dont want to cancell the policy but they told it will be converted to EMI . Escalation department people called and they confirmed its being converted to EMI and it will reflect in the next statement.
                                  when i called my credit card and found its has not been converted ,
                                  I called customer service for cancellation they wanted the cancellation charges of about 1400Rs.i scolded them like anything as the escalation person comitted if the amount is not getting converted to EMI , i will have my full amount refund.
                                  Because i scolded the service agent dropped off the call , i got angry as he speaks only about the cancellation charges and i'm telling its not my fault you people charged with out my approval .So i called the customer service again , they now saying i need to pay 3100 Rs and its one month more .but my first call on Nov 1st 2009 is for cancellation request which they didnt process,. i'said if you people prove that i have approved for one time payment through the recorded call i will be ready to give complete policy amount they are not agreeing but they just wanted cancellation charges for cancelling the policy even though the mistake is from their side.

                                  ICICI Lombard is a cheat , they are playing with customers money with customers approval and no proper customer service is being provided. I have recorded conversation which i had with the customer service.

                                  I 'm going to take legal action against these people for cheating me.

                                  ICICI Lombard is a cheat, Fraud and irresponsible service provider.
                                  I have never seen a cheaters like this before in my life time.

                                  Absolutely right /my icici health policy num 4034i/chc/05269216/00/000 and policy has been cancel 6 month back but till no refund .I have invested in phone bill 2000 rs calling first filght/blue dart but no solution .Last option raising a case in consumer coart
                                  They are the real frauds... Agents are not trained with resolving customer complaints.
                                  I had given the entire details at the time of registration and they have vomited some arts and when i had a claim to make they tell me that we frauded them, the fact is ICICI Lombard Health Insurance is a fraud.

                                  No response for my 24 hr back quires...

                                  The agents do not know how to behave or dont even give their proper names and proper information asked for. ICICI Lombard are real ROBBERS, CHEATERS, FRAUD, UNPROFESSIONAL...
                                  Real Cheaters... They mentioned that they would block my credit card for which they took complete one time payment. I clearly mentioned that I was against this option. I called their Mumbai Headoffice only to find that I have to pay Rs. 3000/- just to cancel this policy.

                                  Real Money Laudering, they just dont give a Damn to customer complaints... So much for their ads on TV claiming that they have honoured 5 Lakh claims...
                                  very sorry for these persons but icici lombard is giving best survice in cashless process i had good experince about it.i thinh there may be some mistake in dedecting ivp system, but we can't blame 100% to icici lombard.

                                    ICICI Lombard, does not train its employees, in how to deal with customers. I embarked on a journey abroad, and sought Health Insurance form ICICI Lombard. The person who did the necessary documentation, entered the wrong travel date, and when this was queried, he told me, to have it changed, he would need approval from the underwriter, and that he would deliver the corrected policy to my home.

                                    I subsequently wrote to ICICI Lombard, and the respondent, told me that the company would not change the travel date, under any circumstances, leaving me, with inadequate cover, for the money they had cheated from me.

                                    My advice to anyone who wishes to engage this thieving company, is to first ensure that the who takes your details, to read it out to you before creating the policy. My humble request to all, is to avoid this company as they cheat!

                                      Anil kumar verma has fillop all documents ICICI Lombard in date of 12/10/2009 according to ICICI Lombard in working time my claim will clear in 24 days but i did not any claim in 16/12/2009 so I complaints 16/12/2009 my complanints num is Req no[protected] ICICI Lombard customer care excutive giv me 21 working days I call back in 08/01/2010 but he did not giv me information my claim so please help me

                                      Just now lost our vehicle no.TN-07-AV-1584 -Splender PLus in
                                      RAja Annamalaipuram, Chennai. If anybody trace it, please inform us in this mail.

                                      Even after locking, this is stolen.

                                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                                        My self manjesh kumar singh residing in lucknow uttar pradesh.I had taken a mediclaim policy of icici lombord and in between I went to ill and addmitted to Batra Hospital Delhi in august 2006.After discharge I claimed or Rs 58000.I could not recieve any response till date.

                                        health insurance — Mediclaim

                                        I am working in hospital we have taken a policy for our employees from one of the nationalized insurance company, the period is from april 09 to march 10 and we paid sum premium now their are telling that they going to withdraw the policy why means your claim is crossing behind the premium amount.

                                        My questing is whether any provision in Insurance rules and regulation and also the period is when not completed.

                                        pls suggest me and which class or section they can cancell.
