Hi,

This compaint is regarding the transactions happened to my credit card (No. [protected]‏). My name is Bangaru Reddy, currently located in Bangalore, and my contact number is [protected]

Two ICICI Lombard policies assigned to me without my knowledge and the EMIs having been billed to my ICICI credit card number: [protected].

When I contacted ICICI customer care they told me the transactions were executed on 13th January 2009. They also said that they did not have my communication details as well and suggested me to contact ICICI Lombard Customer Care for the dispute. When I contacted ICICI Lombard, they also said that they do not have any details of me.

I have updated my email ID to ICICI recently to get my statements to inspect the transactions. After receiving the statements, to my shock, I noticed that, every month two EMIs were being paid in addition, in addition to that, interest for both the EMIs. I never received any communication either from ICICI Credit Cards or ICICI Lombard regarding these policies.

As a matter of fact, I requested ICICI to block my said ICICI Credit Card way back in 2008. I wonder they could you people enroll policies to consumers without informing them that too on a blocked card.

After communicating multiple times with ICICI Lombard, they informed that I was given the policy on 13th January 2009 and an address where I stayed in Mumbai between July 2006 and March 2007, mentioned in the policies. I left Mumbai in March of 2007. In addition to that the nominee details mentioned in the policies contain many incorrect details.

Please look into on urgent basis.

ABN AMRO Credit Card — Without my knowledge applied for insurence

I am writing this mail by surprise and strange, I hope this could not happen to anybody.

I see sum of Rs 8980 is transferred to Reliance insurance on 04/04/2008.
But I have not applied for any Reliance Insurance; I have not done any purchase by internet,
I have not swiped or phone on my Abn Amro card, and don’t have any Reliance insurance
account or policy. How such a transaction happen without my notice.

I see transaction of arround 5, 000/- Supreme Plus memebership without my consent.

Ban this ABN AMRO out of India... Ignorent people... Don't apply for any Credit card.
The ABN AMRO Bank Back office forcible give me the credit card and agree to give me a good credit limit if i apply for icici lombard policy when card i accept without my permission they give me policy, so much strugle they cancell my policy and rewart back my amount, but they send me statement for annual fees charges ( the card is free for lifetime) and threaten me to go 420 case against me in patiala court

ICICI credit cards/ICICI lombard insurance policy — amount blocked from the credit cards for ICICI lombard insurance policy

Dear sir/madam,

In month of Aug i got a call from ICICI credit cards dept (Employee name Ranjeet, Ph no. [protected]) and he told me that around 24000/- is blocked from my credit cards towards ICICI lombard insurance policy and you have to accept it and if you do not want it to continue then after getting the policy call me and i will cancel it and your blocked amount will be reverted back to your credit card.
After getting the policy when i called the same number then i was informed that that person is already fired out (this time i spoken to Ashok ) and he he asured me that continue the policy for one year and at the end of the year this amount will be released from lombard and you do not have to pay.
but in next month credit card statement it was reflecting the EMI for the blocked amount then again i contacted Ashok he asured me that he will send a document stating that "you do not have to pay the EMI amount and the blocked amonut will be reverted to my credit card". but when they did not send me any such document then again contcted the bank Ashok was not there.( this time i was told that the number is changed to [protected]) and they directed the call to this new number. here again told the concern to person (Sidartha) who was sitting there then he told to talk to his manager (Divya). i talked to that lady so many times and each and evry time she assured me that they will send a document very soon.
But till now i did not recieved the document and now when i trying to call to those number no one is picking the call.

Please help me out in this case as i am bound to pay the EMI for blocked amount.

Hoping i will get the justice. if any further clarification required i am ready to provide.

ICICI Lombard — Insurance issued without my knowledge

This is regarding ICICI Lombard policy. I have been charged on my ABN AMRO credit card for a ICICI Lombard insurance. Strangely, I have not even applied for this. Nor did I get any verification/confirmation call. Also, I have not received any documents.

Also, I found there is one more weird thing. The other services dept had my correct details (Phone/Address/Date of Birth) while the cancellation department had some number which was never used by me and an incorrect address. I reside in Bhandup. They had some address of Vasai. Shocking that 2 different departments have 2 different addresses

I have been following up with the customer service and cancellation department. But of no use. Yesterday evening cancellation department promised to call me back today before 3.00 PM to as he could not confirm certain details. I didn’t receive any calls till now.
Again, I spoke with an officerl, she also mentioned a call back. I follow up again from my side and get to know that the verificaiton dept ppl have left due to rains.

This is highly unprofessional of ICICI Lombard and a very serious issue.

Such inefficient customer support is highly not acceptable. Since yesterday I have spoke to many customer support officers, wasted more than 4-5 hours of my time without any outcome.
This seems to be a very common fraud that ICICI Lombard is resorting to. One just receives a call and is bombarded with a lot o[censored]nnecessary information. The next thing you realize is that your credit card is being charged. There is no written consent for this deduction and I am sure the credit card division is part of the fraud. If they cannot make money in an honest fashion, they cannot start cheating people and more so their existing customers! This is not but cheating...!

I am unsure what the resolution is because I have been trying to figure it out myself!

      We have taken icici lombard mediclaim. suddenly my wife got proble fro dieria and admitted her to hospital.

      after ok of my wife's health and her releaving from hospital we claim the hospital charges, then they refuse adn said that this the preexist dises and reject the claim

      now how can direa can be predises.

      so, we want to complain abour above fraud company.,

      Please do the need ful for Media and give general notification by news papers and by the News channels.

      I understand. Even this happened to me as well. In my case not only ICICI lombard denied cashless facility stating pre existing disease even after doc's certification but also linked some other's policy no. with my case. So much so they didn't even took the complaint seriously and even after stating that I will file complaint against them, it didn't make much difference to them rather they just insisted me to admit that I am the same person whose policy no. is mentioned on my case. Mine is single policy and the policy they were talking about was for three members one of them with same name as mine. I have sent several emails in this regards but have not got any response from them yet. I am just searching for the right person in the organization who can takeup this matter seriously, otherwise they can be best called as frauds and I will advise all my known persons not to go with ICICI for insurance in future.

        INSURANCE RENEWAL
        COVER NOTE# 51709075 & COMPLAINT # 30041029

        It was a mis guided by a call center person.

        My car insurance policy was expired on 26/4/10, 29/4/10 I called ICICI ([protected]) for renewal, call center person committed that insurance cover note will be sent by e-mail address with in 5 min time & surveyor will call & inspect the car next day. Based on his commitment I gave my credit card number for renewal.

        True color of ICICI LOMBARD is that till date (6/5/10) I didn't get any policy from ICICI. After raising complaint, other call center person told because of technical problem cover note didn't come, within 2 working days. policy will be in the mail.

        Since there is no responds from ICICI, I have followed up for the policy & they sent a sms that it will take another 5 working days for policy.

        I have made at least 20-30 calls for following up this issue & this how ICICI works.

        Dear READERS, My request to you is never ever go with ICICI insurance. If they can take so long for issueing the policy, I suspect that we may not get claims from ICICI insurance.

        call center — cheasting

        One guy Joel rajkumar who states to have worked for Sitel giving false statements in TV interview that he can place people after call center training in big call centers. fact is he is a runaway from Sitel and trying to cheat people. beware of his false promises.

          SIR,

          I HAD REGISTERED A COMPLAINT OF MY BIKE (REG NO. DL 3S BE 3748) LOSS ON 4/12/2009. I HANDED OVER ALL THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO THE SURVEYOR BY 8/02/2010 INCLUDING FINAL UNTRACABLE REPORT. I HAD BEEN TOLD THAT THE CLAIM WILL BE PASSED WITHIN A MONTH PERIOD. BUT EVEN AFTER SUCCESSIVE REMINDERS, I AM NOT GETTING ANY SATISFACTORY ANSWER. THE CUSTOMER CARE SAYS MY CLAIM HAS BEEN REJECTED, MY SURVEYER SAYS CLAIM HAS BEEN APPROVED BUT BECAUSE OF THE PROBLEM IN THE PRINTING MACHINE AT MUMBAI BRANCH, DELAY IN CHEQUE RELEASING IS OCCURING. WHERE AS THE MUMBAI BRANCH SAYS THAT THE CLAIM IS STILL WITH THE INSPECTION TEAM. ACTUAL STATUS STILL NOT CLEAR TO ME. DURING THIS DRAMATIC CONVERSATIONS, I HAVE NOT BEEN UPDATED IN ANY MEANS BY THE RESPECTIVE COMPANY SO THAT I CAN TAKE ANY CORRECTIVE ACTION.

          KINDLY TAKE THE MATTER INTO CONSIDERATION AND GUIDE ME TO OVERCOME THE ISSUE.

            My name is Sheetal Chawla. My PF No. is DL/36092/263. I have submitted my PF withdrawl form on 1st March. After 4months on 7th july i got 1cheque deposited in my account. now i am still waiting for my other cheque as now 1more month is over. Can you plz help me out for this.

              I had placed a request on the helpline of ICICI Lombard for cancellation of my health policy on[protected]. The interaction no for the same was given to me as[protected]. But till today i.e[protected] the policy is not canceled. I contacted Pune ICICI Lombard office and I had talked with Vaishali Thakur and I was informed that the policy is very much active and there is no request for cancellation. I do not understand that when the interaction no was provide then how the policy is not canceled. Vaishali Thakur have also confirmed that the interaction no is right but it shows that the request is closed. ICICI lombard is trying to just play around with customers. Please look into the matter.

                Hi,

                I had placed a request for cancellation of policy on 31st of march after updating my new address, they took 20 days to confirm cancellation of policy. After 25 days when i called up Icici Lombard guys they said that refund cheques are dispatched through Blue Dart courier, but when i checked with those they informed that cheques were returned to Icici Lombard mumbai office as these lombard people posted it to my previous address.

                These Lombard service is really disgusting.

                  I have taken a Health policy bearing No: 4034/FPS/03406828/00/000 for total amount is Rs.7,253. The same is coverted in EMI form. I have paid the amounts as stipulated. Still EMI amounts are added in the bill statement. In this connection I request you sir furnish my all EMI amounts so far remitted throgh credit card for the stated policy in this regad.

                    Hi Sir/Madam,

                    I had taken a policy @ ICICI Lombard Health Insurance last year and for claims purpose I had submitted all my original bills, proofs and presciptions to the tune of nearly 11k last month. But till yesterday I did not get any status response from them as their toll-free number was always busy. When I enquired my status yesterday they coolly said that pharmacy bills worth some 7k they have not received and asked me to send a photocopy of the same again. I became irritated argued with them, as it was their mistake misplacing my original bills. I have registered a complaint and got a complaint id also.

                      Despite my concerted efforts to get the health insurance policy # 4034i/HIR/04507085/00/000 cancelled, I have not received any response from the company(though I called twice and mailed thrice).

                      The reason is that I have moved to USA and won’t be requiring the policy anymore.

                      Whenever i called the bank , i was told that the system is under maintenance and i should contact after 3 hours.I guess this is the first systen of its kind that takes 3 months for maintenance completion(as i am calling for the last three months).

                      The worst part is that the amount fro the premium is being charged to my credit card and i cannot cancel the same unless the aformentioned policy is cancelled.And now i won't be making payment for my credit card unnecessarily as i am not going to use this policy.

                      So please refrain from this cimpany to avois any mental harrassment as the one i am going through presently,

                        I want to lodge a complaint against ICICI Lombard General Insurance. I was approached by an ICICI Lombard General Insurance Agent approximately 2 years back and I was given information regarding a Policy in which my Diabetes would be covered. But till date I havent received any benefits from that Policy. My policy is for renewal on 17/06/2010. I called up the customer care and asked them to cancel the policy and refund the money that weas charged to my credit card. But they said that no refund will be given to me and that the Diabetes will be covered only after I complete 4 years of my Policy term. Now When the executive had come, and given me the necessary details that time he never told me that the Diabetes will be covered after 4 years. So till date I havent taken any benefit of the Policy and I have paid a premium of around Rs. 26972/-

                        This is complete fraud done to me, and even I am not given any benefits for the same. Please help in this matter.

                          How it was done without my concent?

                            We have filed car claim against our issued policy number 3001/57118054/00/B00 on Company Toll free[protected] dated April-5-2010 number MOT01508179 to send suryer at Garage to access the loss ofour car. several reminders have been given to icici lombard to send their surveyer at the location so that car claim can be addresses. But to my knowledge, till date no official has visited the garage to access loss and doing it deliberately so as to harass me and delay it further so that when policy get expired they can further harass me.
                            i left with no solution but to approach u..pl help

                              1. Jai Hind, I am Flight Lieutenant M M Singh, an Air Force Officer posted to Bareilly, U.P. My one month old car SX4 PB02 (TEMP) 2009 AZ528 met with an accident on 18 Nov 09. The car was being driven by me and my colleague Flight Lieutenant A Tawade was sitting next to me in the car. In order to avoid a truck, which came into the lane I was driving in, I turned the car to the right in kachha nala and met with an accident. My car was totally written off and both o[censored]s suffered injury and bruises that took almost a month to heal. Since no third party was involved and no damage to any property or person was involved, FIR was not lodged by police.

                              2. My car was deposited next day i.e. on 19 Nov 09 to Coral motors (P) LTD., a authorized Maruti dealer at station road ,Bareilly. Mr Rashid Khan received my car on 19th at 1500 hrs and gave relevant paper and job card no stating the same. My policy number is MAR10339078 and claim no. is 1362834.

                              3. I took almost a month to get totally healed and during this period I was in regular telephonic conversation with the representative of ICICI Lombard , Mr. Rajeev Saxena, posted at Bareilly. A month later Mr. Shukla from your investigating team came to Bareilly from Lucknow. I provided him all the relevant papers i.e. license, registration, purchase papers of car and statements given by my colleague Tawade and me. Mr Shukla also told me that, though it’s irrelevant but if I can provide a medical certificate it will make my case even stronger. Next day morning I posted him the same on his Lucknow address.

                              4. Now I kept calling Mr. Rajeev Saxena regarding the update on my case, I was getting impatient now as it was taking a lot of time. After 2-3 weeks he said it’s not in his hand now and I should talk to Mr. Vineet Gupta of ICICI LOMBARD at Lucknow.

                              5. I kept calling him regularly 10 times a day. This Gentleman never picked up his phone, he did so on the tenth day and told me that paper work is going on and he will inform me in case of any development. He never called me as usual and after another 10 days he picked up his phone and told me that my case is being rejected because in my statement I have written my date of accident to be 18 Oct 09 instead of 18 Nov 09. He also asked me to send the statements again and the case will not be rejected. I sent the statements (my colleague’s and mine) again stating that the date was 18 Nov and not 18 Oct 09. In the letter I duly apologized to the company for my negligence and stated that in case company needs any document or paper of my vehicle or any other clarification I am ready to send that. I also stated that if company wants me or my colleague to come any where in India personally for any kind of clarification, then we are ready to do so.

                              6. Now I kept calling Mr. Vineet Gupta again .This time by God’s grace he picked up the phone on 7th day itself and assured me that he has received my letter and forwarded it to Mumbai for further action. On my calling him again and again he gave me mobile no. of Mr.Ajay at Mumbai office. Both of them mentally traumatized me for next one month not saying anything clearly and asking just to be patient and wait.

                              7. From 18 Nov 09 it was now 30 mar10 and what I have got from ICICI Lombard is not even assurance. On 01 Apr 10 i.e. on April’s fool day I was informed by Mr. Rajeev Saxena that my case is rejected and I am free to go to court.

                              8. Till date I have received nothing in writing from ICICI Lombard, and mean while whenever I called the call centre of the company then apart from distributing umpteen mobile numbers I was told that, my case is not rejected as shown on his computer system.

                              9. Being in flying branch of Indian Air force, I need to go almost every where in India. My job requires lot of concentration and commitment. Focus in my job is of paramount importance but ICICI Lombard has not left any stone unturned to mentally traumatize and harass me. This company has not given me even false assurance forget any help, warmth or hospitality. I am writing this letter in great disgust and hopelessness taking leave from my job for a week.

                              10. My car is totally written off and placed at a garage of Coral motors. The coral motor is also pressurizing me to vacate its garage or pay rent if claim is rejected.

                              11. Quoting the dates incorrectly by mistake or temporary registration being lapsed by 5 days can not be the basis of rejection of my case. Please give an explanation in writing if it does. These are no contributing factors to the accident that took place and I lost my car. I got my car insured by paying the premium amount to ICIC Lombard for such contingencies only. Today after putting me under mental trauma for 5 months you can not deny my money and my right.

                              12. My only request to you all is please don’t mentally harass any fauji as he has other important jobs to do. Money and belongings of a fauji are hard earned. I will go to any extent to get my hard earned money back because I know it’s my right and I need not beg to any body for it.

                              13. This is the first letter I am writing to you and I will continue sending you reminders for written explanation. I am sending copy of this to IRDA. My only request is please act or else change the ICICI Lombard caller tune that plays whenever anybody calls an employee of this company. Regards.

I am writing second letter to you. The last letter was posted to you with an acknowledgement, on 05 Apr 10. I had written and explained in detail about my case in the letter.

                              2. I want to reinstate to you that, without asking any clarification from my side or without giving me any reason in written or orally, my case has been out rightly rejected by, ICICI Lombard insurance company.


                              3. Above all for last 5-6 months I have only been told by the employees of the company that, paper work is going on and within 10 days I will be getting my money back. Those 10 days have become 5-6 months now. What have I got till date is only false hopes or assurance from the company.

                              4. Being an Air Force officer from flying branch, I need to concentrate and focus on my job every second but the company has mentally harassed and traumatized me for last 5-6 months to such extent that my professional and personal life has become miserable.

                              5. As of now till date I have not received any explanation in writing or not even been orally informed as to why my case has been rejected.

                              6. I am waiting for any kind of response from the company since 18 Nov 09. After 6 months of mental harassment by the employees of the company namely, Mr. Vineet Gupta (Lucknow), Mr. Ajay (Mumbai) and Mr. Rajeev Saxena (Bareilly), what I have received from the company is only false hopes.

My next step will be giving you a legal notice and filing a case in consumer court. I will ask for my money with interest and compensation for the mental trauma caused by the ICICI Lombard.

                              That relating to the above referred matter I crave indulgence of your esteem time to look into my plight and take a decision immediately on receipt of this letter.
                              That I am holding general motor insurance policy in the ICICI Lombard Company bearing policy no. 3001/57979759/00/000 for an amount of Rs. 24, 340.
                              On or about 10/01/2010 my car made with an accident and on the very next day the car was accordingly sent to the workshop for repairing purpose.
                              On or about the last week of September 2010, I received a Performa invoice dated 22/09/2010 from Mohan Motors whereby a total amount Rs 5, 68, 520 was raised. The same was duly communicated to you and vide a mail dated 24/09/2010 I was informed by Mohan Motors that Rs 3, 64, 558 has been sanctioned on said bill. Subsequently an assessment sheet was also received by me.
                              That on closed perusal of the said assessment sheet I found that a number of items that were supposed to be covered by my insurance in terms of the insurance policy were discarded/not included in the assessment sheet. It is also not clear why certain items such as “Assy ski rack” on the right hand side was included in the assessment sheet the same thing for the left hand side was discarded. There are numerous such discrepancies in the said assessment sheet.
                              I humbly say that such discrepancies has caused great immosonal distrace, pain and anxiety and in the event the claim as sanction by you is not revised/ altered I shall suffer great financial loss.




                              Under the above facts and circumstances I request to you kindly look the matter so that justice can be deliver to me.

                                My policy No.4034i/FPS/04903636/00/000 Card No: 'IHPN[protected]/02 . My wife admitted Cosmopolitan Hospital, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram for an accident. She admitted in hospital for 6 days. She discharged by 11th April 2010. But her hospital bill Amount Around 14,842/- but hospital people said ICICI Lobard health Insurance complay sanctioned only RS.13,000/- . I was a doubt who paid the balance amount? At the time of Joining You people said to me there was an amount of Rs.1000/- Month given to bystander who with the patient. Why I collect this amount and Balance Hospital Bill?                                   Me and my wife traveled to Sweden to meet my son living there. We had travel insurance policies from ICICI Lombard vide following policy nos. 4030/2835707/00/000, 4030/2835712/00/000. Suddenly we had to rush to USA due an emergency, my daughter living in USA met with a car accident and had abroken hand. We had to rush to attend to her. A seperate ticket was booked from Stockholm-USA-Stockholm.
                                  We had to come back to stockholm and then spend 2 days at stockholm before going back to Delhi.

                                  On our way back from USA, the flight got cancelled and thn rerouted. Due to which we were forced to stay at New York for a night. We loded this incident with ICICI lombard and were told to shop and eat for bare necissities. We did an expense for around $300, which was refused once we reached home.

                                  The flight got further delayed and we barely managed to catch out flight from Stockholm to Delhi. We could not meet or spend 2 days at Stokholm which was initially planned.

                                  Our luggage was booked from USA to Stockholm, Sweden but we never got our luggage at stockholm due to various delays. Airlines had no clue where the luggage was.

                                  When we reached New Delhi, we filed a PIR with the airline ( do not forget here that the 2 airlines were different Delhi-stockholm - delhi & stockholm-USA-stockholm ). We got our suitcases after 3 weeks of repeated followup and requests. All our important doctor reports for continued medecine were in the baggage. Since we were travelling for 2 months, all our essential clothes were also in the suitcases.

                                  We made a detailed report to ICICI Lombard and sent it to the address mentioned on the ICICI claim form.

                                  When we spoke to them after a few days they said tht no papers were received.
                                  They then told us we had to send the papers to a different address.
                                  They told to re send the papers. We made a claim again.

                                  Then when i called, they said they want originals, whcih i had already sent to them, which they had now lost. I visitied them personally at Delhi office and the person told me he will look at it.

                                  After repeated follow up also i did not get anywhere with them.

                                  They did not pay me anything. Lost all my original bills/ and papers. No one ever called me to ask anything or help.

                                  I am a retired senior defence officer and i would like to seek justice and compensation on the mental torture, stress, cheating, misbehaviour, loss of money and unprofessional approach of ICICI lombard.

                                  I still have some photocopies to support my claim which i am attaching for your reference.

                                    I (Vaibhav Suri) had an accident on my motorcycle at around midnight near gurgaon toll plaza, and was immediatelty hospitalized for quick treatment. At the time of my treatment I got to know that bike requires a major attendence, where i also realize that i had met with an accident.
                                    Now, i am at my house with fractured leg and even cannot walk, asked my friend to take my motorbike to the sevice centre and call the ICICI Lombard for the claim.
                                    Frist day the representative of the insurance company came to the agency and after been showning him the proof of the hospital, the representative marked no claim on the basis that the damage on the motor bike is done intetionally.......the second day we complained the insurance company about the incident and sended them the hospital proofs, they agreed to have the claim survey again.
                                    Now, today also the same story was repeated with thw survey that the damage was intentional and there will be no claim.
                                    I as still on the bed require some justice towards my claim..........as a normal human bieng getting his thing insured and at the time of requirement the companies deney them with stupid reasons after showing them the proofs also.
                                    Hope to have some justice to my complaint.

                                      Hi,

                                      I had taken a ICICI Lombard health insurance policy 2 years back. First year I paid a premium of Rs. 6249/-. Next year I got 5% no claim bonus and the premium paid was Rs. 5823/-. This year also there is no claim against my policy but I am informed that the premium I have to pay is Rs. 6141/-.

                                      On enquiring I am informed that as per IRDA guidelines the no claim bonus cannot be adjusted against premium amount...

                                      - I am a mediclaim policy holder of ICICI Lombard for the period of[protected]. My complaint is : - I claimed the treatment amount as above said but firstly so many problems created by TTK Healthcare services for documents, they always questioned this line is not filled we want a rely, which i replied then they asked the same from Hospital's doctor when those query completed again problem has been created that Diagnosis not mentioned in DISCHARGE SHEET while it was mentioned in Medical Certificate provided by concerned Hospital. Anyhow the matter has been cleared and eventually after a lot of mental harassment, the claim has been approved by a panel of ICICI Lombard on 19th February 2008. But still there is no reason given for the release of claim amount. Meanwhile i have been following up with the concerned people of ICICI, Gurgaon and writing to the customer care/query resolution department but no satisfactory reply has been received yet.

                                      I want the claimed ammount with interest due to delay and various kind of harrassment.
                                      I seek the help of you in this regard.
