I am user of IDEA modem for wireless internet. I took this modem from their dealer Millenium Communication sector 8 Rohini, about two months back. ( modem no. [protected])

I was charged Rs.3000 in cash by the dealer in cash including one month usage time stating that this was the company rate and that company does not accept payment by any other means except cash. In spite of demanding, no receipt was given.

Next month gain I paid tothem Rs. 600 in cash but no receipt.

Now the most fishy part. I again paid Rs. 600 by cash on 28 Feb 2011 for one month usage for the month of March 2011. On 3rd March I started getting an error message of network non registration. The dealer to;d me that the chip has gone defective and that you have to pay Rs. 400 for new chip and also Rs. 300 for usage. On my protest, I was told that I can complain but it will take about 2 months for issue to resolve ahd till then modem will not work.I paid Rs. 700 by cash and again no receipt.

It is clear that IDEA in nexus with its intermediaries is looting users or its own bad service and quality. The modus of cash payment seems to hide their corrupt deeds. I have not got any sms/email = for Rs. 700 payment and it appears that same modem no. has been made active[ - SO WHAT FOR CASH RS. 700 HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM ME WITHOUT ANY RECEIPT - WELL COMPANY SEEMS TO BE IN IT WITH INTERMEDAIRY TO SHARE SUCH LOOT.

I REQUEST MY COMPLAINT TO BE ATTENDED AND MATTER LOOKED IMMEDIATELY BY TRAI AND CVC.

Sir, I am a customer of idea cellular mobile phones. I have three mobile nos on my name , [protected],[protected],[protected] with the company. On 17th Jan.2011 I called on the customer care and requested for mailing my bill to my email id. They said it will be done in two days but they failed to do so. Again I recently called them for the same, they said that my email id was wrongly taken and hence corrected and the bills will be despatched in two hours. Again they failed to attend to my needs. The company's customer service is very bad and needs redressal to my problem immediately.

IDEA NET SETTER ROAMING...............SUCKS

I HAVE AN IDEA NET SETTER CONNECTION TAKEN FROM THANE (NO.[protected]. I AM CURRENTLY ON ROAMING IN KERALA. IT WORKED FOR A MONTH, NOW IT DOES NOT WORK.
NET SETTER SEEMS CONNECTING BUT NO WEBSITES CAN BE OPEN. HAVE GIVEN 11 COMPLAINTS ON EMAILS AND SPENT MANY HOURS ON PHONE EXPLAINING THE PROBLEM. ONLY AUTOMATED THANK YOU MAILS. DIFFERENT AGENTS GIVES DIFFERNT CONFUSING MESSAGES AS TO WHY THERE IS A PROBLEM --- HAVE RECHARGED UPTO 1000 RUPEES IN THE LAST WEEK BUT NO IDEA WHERE THE MONEY GOES...THE PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK.

NODAL OFFICER IS SLEEPING. VERY ILL TRAINED CUSTOMER SERIVE AGENTS AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT WHO DOES NOT HAVE A CLUE. ABHISHEK BACHCHAN SHOULD STOP ENDORSING THIS PRODUCT. I lost my Mobile Phone on the 25th of February 2011, I launched an FIR in the police station, gave them the copy of it and applied for locking my SIM CARD with the new original documents and issuing a NEW SIM CARD OF THE SAME NUMBER TO ME on the 26th of February 2011.
They promised me to get it activated on the same day but now its 5th of March and nothing has happened.
I am without cellphone, lost and in mess.
Everytime I go to see them in their office, they claim some system error and fail to do anything.

I want to complaint on the grounds of :

1) Mental Stress given by them everyday by giving me false hopes.
2) Excess and Unnecessary fuel consumption by driving to kilometres to complaint to them everytime.
3) Lost touch with my parents and friends back home far away from Indore, they are also being harrassed indirectly because of these people.
4) I missed my important calls, my training officers calls, calls from office and other important calls resulting in my loss in education, bussiness and my career which is uncalled for.

Please do the needful.

In my phone automatic activate channel 99 magazine service in Idea, and every three days automatic reduced my balance of Rs. 3/ every three day. I talk to the Idea customer care to deactivate the channel 99 magazine service(keyword for channel 99 is CH3). customer care provide a way to deact (send a new message "Deact <service keyword>" (without space) to 155223), I formally try this way but it didn't work. Please, give me the right way to deactivate the channel 99 magazine service and also send me to start Do Not Disturb "DND" in Idea to prevent Idea customer care offer's phone and messages. I am a bsnl postpaid mobile subscriber from Mathura U.P. west.
I gave a mobile number portability request for my number [protected] on 13th February 2011 to be transferred to IDEA.
I have not received any intimation regarding the process and status for the same.
On the websites I see that the maximum time taken should be 7 working days. This time frame has already exhausted.
I have already deposited a fee of 500Rs as security deposit at IDEA office Mathura.
Kindly let me know the status for my number.

When I talk to idea office they keep telling me that this will be done today. Everytime this happens and this is happening for last 10 days.
I got fedup and Atlast I told them to cancel my MNP Request and please refund me 500 Rs against the receipt which I have. But even this was not done and told me that this will happen today.
I do not know how to solve this issue.

Hi, i am desh anand pandey currently using the idea postpaid services since June -July-10, and i have opted the DND(do not disturb) from the beginning of the services. the bad times has started form the month of November-10. i am receiving a large no. of sms's and calls frequently and i have started complaining to idea for the same, each time idea customer care has replayed that we are working on your complaint and it will be closed in a month time .

however, i have spoke to lot of peoples regarding my issue and the problems has not resolved yet .
idea has suspended my no.due to non payment of my jan -11 outstanding and they are just calling to my friends and relatives for my outstanding. please note that i have always made the payments before the due date exept jan -11.
it seems that idea is just doing monkey making business and not at all interested to resolve the customer complaints .

please suggest the corrective measures

As per IDEA's publicity stunt on TV, I had planned to carry out my mobile no. ([protected]) from CELLONE (BSNL) to IDEA.
I had submitted all documents, alongwith my application no. 072598 dated 01 Feb 2011. The latest bill to BSNL was also paid on 10 Feb 2011 and photocopy of the receipt was also given to IDEA.
CELLONE (BSNL) had sent me a SMS on 10 Feb 2011, that I have been successfully unsubscribed. I kept asking IDEA about the change of service provider, registered complaint on 20/2/2011 (Comp. No.[protected] and on 28/2/2011 (Comp. No. 1-[protected]). Everytime the call center says that check back after a few hours, which is never done since 20/2/2011.
Long holds of over 30 minutes was experienced on 01 Mar 2011 at 6.45pm. No answer given no action taken .

Sir, This is to bring to your kind notice that on my said mobile no., there is a service activated namely World Cup Cricket SMS Updates. I requested so many times on your customer care services for deactivation of this service but no favorable response received yet. For availing this service, Rs. 5/- are dedected per day from my account balance. I am getting to much of loss of money.

I request you to kindly look into the matter at your earliest and deactivate this service as it is wastage of my money.

This is in regards continous mental harassment I am facing from Idea cellular Pvt. Ltd. for the non payment of 1600 INR which is pending and for that I have agreed to pay on 15th of March. The reason for non payment of bill is unemployment for last 3 months. If I do not have intensions to pay the bill have I paid the first installment of INR 700 in november. I told the representatives of the above said company on several ocassions about the circumstances and assure them that I will pay the pending amount on 15th of March. The reason for, I gave this date is that I have joined a new company on 1st of February and will receive my salary check on 10th of March and it will take 2-3 working days for encashment i.e. I planed 15th of March for payment of bill. Still the represtatives of the above said company are making threatning and abusing calls to me and even my relatives and freinds. I will pay surcharge charged by the company for the delay I made but will they pay for mental harrasment and disrespect to me and my relatives and the depression I am facing due to such calls. I am severly depressed and not able to concentrate on my work as I am receiving more than 30 calls a day. The calls are made by their reprentatives who are rude and abusive and their names are Monika and Himanshu and the numbers from which they make calls are [protected], [protected], [protected] and many more. I am already too much depressd as I lost my father on 24th October and hardly able bear my expenses. Please look into this matter as soon as you can else I will not be able to face the pressure anymore.

Below is the mail sent by me to the Idea Customer to deactivate the TV service on 17th Dec but it was deactivated on 31st jan. They told me to give refund but they didn’t reply after Jan 28th. Below is last mail sent by them to me but after that I have not recd any response from Idea. When I used send message to port my number on 1900 ill not receive any UPC code from idea. I suggest each and every person that Idea is so worst company. You will not get any response from their CCE even after holding for more than 1 hours. Poor Network Coverage, Poor Policy of treating Premium customer ( they are barring 5 years old postpaid number for just non payment of Rs.136, No response of any mail sent to them. After all that They Say “ What an Idea Sir Ji”. Shameless company

I want to inform you that I’m Idea subscriber since 12/10/2005 but my number Outgoing local and STD calls were barred due to non payment of just Rs.136 approx. I want to know the reason that is this the way you company treating with your premium customer. After my request my local outgoing calls are activated but still I’m unable to make any STD calls. After this I again had given request to resume my STD services on dated 15 Dec 2010. I don’t know what the hell idea wants to play with their customer. My SIM was blocked (registration failed) When I tried up to call customer care from my Vodafone number 9899978***, after half and hour I got response and thereafter lady CCE picked and told me that IDEA systems are on updating and it will be rectified in 4 hours and when I wish to talk to her floor manager she put me hold for more than a 42 Minutes and there after Mr.Jaiser Floor in charge un hold my call and told me that he was busy in another call.

I called up Idea care [protected] 1:34 PM approx with my Vodafone number 9899978*** cal was picked by Lady CCE Name Preetpal and there after she trasffred call to Mr.Jaiser Floor Incharge .

I had already forwarded complaint on idea website but I didn’t receive any response from you. I’m going to file a case against idea for harassment and poor service. As I earlier informed that I was charged for Idea TV service Rs.150 for which I don’t had given any request to you.

Are involved in this whole conversation but I’m still there where I was before. Due to this I want to Port my number wants to do MNP because Mr.Sandeep Floor Manager told me that just for Rs.99 they are barring services of customer as that is the company policy.

I changed my phone and inserted my idea sim in my new HTC desire phone, the GPRS connection was activated without my knowledge, I didn't save any settings. And throughout the day I was unaware my phone's applications was using bandwidth to determine location etc. And more than 100 Rs was deducted from my balance. When I call customer care they hang up as soon as they listen to the complaint, this is really bad customer service.

I am really PISSED OFF with the services Network Coverage of IDEA CELLULAR,I have put forward this issue many a times to IDEA People but nobody responded, it's only 15 days back I got a call from Idea and I told him about the issue. There was no indication from their side as in when this issue will be sorted. I am really dissatisfied with the coverage and even thinking of changing my service with Vodafone. On top of that, whenever I see their Ad on the TV showing signals getting inside the Lift also, I feel cheated. I can just simply suggest IDEA to cut down your budgets on Ads and instead build a good infrastructure first which should complement your claims.

I had subscribed one prepaid !dea connection of number [protected] which was activated on
1-Jan-2011.
Now a day I am taking decision to port out this connection to Tata Docomo, as this reason I had requested for UPC code for this no on 21-Jan-2011 & that UPC code was IK275QRB and this code was valid up to 5-Feb-2011.
On 22-Jan-2011 I was submitted MNP registration request to one Tata Docomo store.
On 27-Jan-2011 I was received one SMS from TA-1901 the text was “Your Port In request for Mobile Number [protected] has been rejected by your service provider as you have been on their network for less that 90 days”. This reason for rejection was totally wrong and base less because of my connection was at that point 391 days (1-Jan-2010 to 27-Jan-2011) old. Then I was contacted with !dea customer care help line also I docketed a complain for this wrong issue with complain number[protected], still complain was not solved and showing processing.
On 6-Feb-2011 I was collected one more UPC code for this number because my previous UPC code was expired, the UPC code was IK297324 and will valid up to 21-Feb-2011.
On 12-Feb-2011, I was again submitted one fresh MNP form along with my new UPC code at Tata Docomo store.
Finally I am very depressed to informing you that my existing provider this is !dea was rejected this Port In request on 14-Feb-2011 with another new issue, I was really surprised to sowing that SMS coming from TA-1901 and the text was “Your Port In request for Mobile Number [protected] has been rejected by your service provider due to legal reason”
After two unsuccessful MNP request, on 23-Feb-2011 I had submitted another MNP request in Tata Tele service for port-out my number from !dea to port-in Tata Docomo, my UPC code of this MNP request is IK228621. From one SMS come from TA-1901 I have known that my MNP request for my number is forwarded to !dea for approval.

I have already submitted all the document as required by Idea Cellular on 19th Fabrury 2011, at Idea Shopee but service yet not start. Idea shopee's memeber asked me that already send all document to Idea head office. but customer care asked me that document are not received yet. Please take some action against this complaint. and Start my connection asap.
