I would like to register a complaint against Idea Cellular Pvt Ltd. On 8th June, 2009, I bought a new sim of Idea with 2 years of subscription for Rs 1, 000. They told me that that sim will be be activated within 24 hours as per TRI's Norms. The number alloted to me was [protected] & S.No. of Application form was 1433028. When this no. got activated, then I got to know that this number is already existing in some other name & that person is using this no. I informed this thing to Agency/ service provider, & they accepted this mistake. Therefore, they alloted me a new number with confirmation to activate it within 24 hours. After 24 hours, I called them but they do not activated that number. Furthermore, I visited the adchini More Idea center on friday but nothing done against my plea. Thereon, I, contacted Sai communication, Tilak Nagar about activation of the number. In return, I received a call from them on saturday morning . Finally on Sunday evening my sim was activated & the no. was [protected]. But when I, inserted that sim & then message came that " Invalid Sim", again complained about this thing to service provider. Then they took the sim. On monday morning, I received a call from service provider about the activation of the sim which was not with me. In between, I bought a another number because I, was suffering through losses and I needed one no. urgently for issue of advertisement. Kindly compensate the losses incurred of Rs 50, 000 due to lack & faults of your services.

I have a prepaid connection. Since Last six-seven month on dated[protected] I received a SMS “Congrates you have renewed for mobilE Investor Monthly pack for just Rs. 50/- to 28 day” and they have deducted Rs. 50 from my credit balance
In this regard on 26th I have called to 12345 and register a complaint that I have never send a massage our nore I have called for the scheme to activate.
One executive (name I d’nt hear) told me that u have requested through sms therefore we have activated the scheme, I have denied for these type of sms also in my cell’s sent item there is note a single massage to idea, I have objected to him and told that I will discontinue the connection if my money (Rs. 50) note refunded by the company. That he told me that u can register a complaint for incorrect deduction of balance
I have told him please register.
After half-n-hour I have received a sms from IZ-SIVR “ dear customer, your concern for incorrect deduction is under process and would be actioned within 12 hour 0 min sr no. 1-[protected] thank you.”
Surprisingly today I have know the fact that in india the mobile operators are in huge competition and under pressure from rate war and therefore they have started to cheating customers like me and making a huge money without any cost

The idea has 5 crore subscriber base even 10% of the subscriber are note aware about these type of fraud than they can easily earn Rs. 25-50 crore annually
