Sir,
I am the user of idea connectivit since long time with [protected].
Today i had a bitter experience of loss of Rs.175/- which paid towards 180 days validity.
The details - on 8-6-09 i went to the idea Cellular, Dealer M/s R.K.Agencies, D.No.50-50-33/2/1, Shop No.4, Priyadarsini Towers, Gurudwara Jn., Visakhapatnam and paid Rs.175/- towards 180 days validity and Rs.50/- towards talk time. The dealer has processed the same and which in turn reflected in my mobile vide 3891 & 3892 at 20.49.43 hrs stating the routin "your last recharge successful with Rs.175.0. Now A/c balace is Rs.25.83. Thanks for using Idea services... recharged ... balance etc." with this i was under the impression that my connection valitidy extended for the next 180 days.
But to my surprise today ie 9-6-09 when i want to contact my friend in the morning i heard " the idea chitchat vallidity completed hence call cannot be processed". Then i approached the dealer, who informed that the connectivity expired on 7-6-09 and hence the Rs.175/- has lost in simple. In this connection i am unable to understand at the stage of advanced technology, when my connectivity is not valid, how the service provider 'successfully recharge' and receive the Rs.175/-. In case if it cannot be processed. Then they have to return my amount of Rs.175/-. but simply for the sake of confusion, the prestageous cellular like Idea cannot punish its customers and ask them to loose the amount. which has to look into to return the amount and initialize certain measures to restrict such type of bitter experiences to the loyal customers.

    Sirs,
    The complainant named above respectfully submits as follows:-
    1. That a Net Setter of Idea Cellular was purchased on 06-May-2009 from Air Link Inc., A1, Centre Market, Sector-3, B.S.City, Jahrkhand-827003, Vide Bill No- 461 and the said Net Setter No. [protected] was recharged by Rs.749/- for unlimited surfing and downloading for one month.
    2. That the Idea Cellular Claims it is high speed internet device capable to provide 236.8/kbs Speed. Browsing Speed Downloading Speed (Ref. Company’s advertisement enclosed)
    3. That complaint couldn’t avail the above speed because of poor connectivity in EDGE Mode and No Connectivity in GPRS Mode. If Connected it gives browsing Speed (max. ) i.e. .13/kbs and Downloading Speed (max.) i.e. .15/kbs
    4. That on complain through Customer Care they refuse to give proper information & harassed the complainant by saying that these is no balance in the said net setter & it is to be required to get recharge. Customer Care didn’t provide conversation ID to the Complainant.
    5. That the complainant has lodged several complains vide id no. 7082122, 7264170, 6644976, 7753494 through customer care but no action was taken. Only claimed by the Customer care that the communication id has been processed
    6. That the complainant saw that there was no remedy through Customer Care approached nodal grievance cell & Apex grievance Cell of Idea and lodged a case to resolve the issue.
    7. That the nodal officer namely Mr. Abhijeet over [protected] rather solving the issue he misbehaves with the complainant stating that Bahut Kanun Aati hai….
    8. That the Complainant then tried to contact with Mr. Sanjeev Agga (GM) over Phone bearing No 91+[protected].Several times to request to look into the matter. But the matter is still pending till date & not action taken by the Idea cellular even GM shown no intention to look into the matter.
    9. The complainant has to loose job from Sri Vidyasagar Education Trust from 23th May, 2009 for not providing data to his seniors. Apart from this that the complainant couldn’t avail the benefit of the unlimited downloading & browsing due to poor speed and poor network. And the situation is still persisting similar.
    10. The complainant is still unemployed from the day above mentioned, and has suffered financial loss of 20, 000/- PM and mental agony & harassment a lot that is not measurable.
    11. That Idea cellular has ignored the instruction given by the hon’ble Secretary, National Consumer forum Govt of India.. Vide Id No 19885

    The Complainant is begging true justice in the above matter.

    Idea — Not getting group sms from internet

    Not getting sms from internet groups like www.smsgupshup.com and other websites from last 3 days (12 Feb. 2009)

    The other service providers is successfully working this system. but idea is not supporting this from last few days.

    we are contact to customer care. but he surely saying "not our problem"

    "and Idea can cheating every costomers' LiFE"

    IDEA/Idea Netsetter — Poor Surfing Speed

    I have Purchase Idea Netsetter(USB), which promises speed of 236.8 kbps. In actual the speed is absolutely hoax, seldom the download speed exceeds 1-2 kbps, it ocassionally around 600 bytes per second.

    Even opening search engine like google takes a while. I feel absolutely cheated by idea.
    (Error No.1722 : Server unavailable ) Server not found at Bhyanader, but Range showing full. And Mumbai at fort side it is working but speed is slow. Please look into matter and do the needful

    unable to open browser in my mobile phone& packet data settings are unavailable so that we are not able to see the service messages

    Are yaar lant hai is company ke promoter pr. naak main dum kr diya kambaklhton ne. kabhi jo sahi speed dein. mint main 5 baar fluctuate krenge. data transfer rate ...bole toh Jay Shree Ram...[hindi toh aati hogi nhin tech team ko inki, vilayat main jo paida huye] ...Yeh abhishek bachchan...idea idea..ji krta hai isko hi chipka doon apna modem.

    Dear, taras khaao, reham kro hum pr aur apne sales team pr. bechare mihanat kr, sach-jhooth bol kr customer banaate hain aur kr dete ho tum log unki aisi-ki-taisi.

    1 mint ka kaam main 10 mint lagwaa dein.
    aur kitni malaamat ki zroorat hai...mere vilati pyaare tech team.
    All complaints to telecom operators be reflected in the bills.
    E-Complaints are answered with only an auto e-reply without any complaint number by mobile operators Idea / Vodafone etc.
    Are they not supposed to generate a complaint number for reference?
    Require Consumer Organizations / NGO / Telecom Regulatory Authority of India / Consumer groups to check this.
    Steady & Strong Network signal for uninterupted communication is the need of day in the wake of regular traffic jams / long distances to cover.

      sir,
      im a regular customer of d above cellular company, i have taken many numbers from this company for my self and my friends specially golden numbers.and their excicutivesused 2 contact me whenever new series or numbers arrives.now i week before i got an information from one excicutive that new series have arrived.that is "9544".then told him that me and one of my friend want one number that is [protected] and [protected] then he told that it is a golden number.then i paid money for the two numbers and also submitted the required documents last week, then he told me that the number will b active soon, then i have waited for 4 or 5 days.now he is telling that we wont get that number.we have already paid money for that number.so kindly please take nessary action against them.and please protect consumers like us.

      how can i get information like: which services are now a stat activated on my number...and all information of my number..like how many calls, massages...etc.

        My name is Harsh Mahajan, Mobile no - [protected], I am using Idea number since 6 years, and last days I called atleast 10 times to lodge a complaint regarding problem in incoming calls, I called idea customer care and SMS also on 12345 so many times that I am not able to recieve incoming call, just a light blink on my phne that means some body is calling me, but I am not able to recieved the call and after 10 minutes I use to get an SMS that U have missed call, I can provide you the details of the call which I was not able to recieved on 08/06/2009, [protected] @ 7.00 Pm, [protected], [protected] @ 6.59 Pm, [protected] @7.15pm and When I use to lodge a complaint, no body use to call back me, one of the guy at Customer Care wrote in the complaint that I am facing problem in outgoing, see that foolish guy how he use to listen and wrote complaint, Will I get Missed call SMS on outgoing calls, they assume from there side that problem has been resolved, no body even turned up to give me a feedback, feedback service is soo poor, I cant tell you. I am facing this problem at my office i.e. 27/10 essel appartments East punjabi Bagh timings are between 11 am to 8 pm.

        But today on 09/06/2009 a girl called up at 12.30pm and was talking to me so rudely that I have to go to Mohan cooperative to check my sim card, It is 30 kms away from my home, You think I am foolist to spend Rs 300 to check the sim and if there is any problem in the sim Then I will pay Rs 100 to change it, You people only call me from your office and order me to do this and that, no body dares to come here and see what problem is?

        Seriously Idea people can change my life fom heaven to HELL.



        If you want to check or change my phone SIM card then do it I wont be paying anything for it, I am using your services since 6 years, You have earned alot from me and I want an engineer to visit at my office immidiatly.

        Idea Cellular — Network and Call Problem

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        I am Sanjay Kumar Suman, an user of your IDEA Cellular Mobile. My Mobile No. [protected]. I am facing problem from last 10 days, Whenever, I make a call on any no then I not get clear voice, always get disconneted calls. For this I have changed many Mobile Handset, and Contact to your Customer Care Executive on dated 20.05.09.
        They told me your request is registered, this problem will be solved on 25.05.09, but this problem is not solved till yet.

        And from tody morning occured a new problem, I am unable to call on any STD No., I always get computerised voice please contact your customer care executive, while my current balance is more than Rs. 100.

        For this I was called to Customer Care Executive in the morning 09:45 to 10:30 AM, three times, First time by Ms. Ekta, She told you can lodge Complaint tomorrow not today, after that talked to Mr. Sunil, he replyed same.
        Then I called and talked to Senior Supervisor Mr., he replyed same then I said if my problem will not solved till evening then I will send a mail to your senior.

        Then they replyed you can go any where I have no any problem, even TRAI or Consumer Forum.
        Please tell me, what I can do...

        My request is don't use the idea cellular, its change u r life really, but in the negative manner. The persons who are working as senior customer care representatives are not providing services for customers, they are lying people we are providing the services to the customers.

        Highlights of idea cellular:

        For 1st time call giving noise, not able to hear the voice from other end.

        Call Disconnect as usual...

        like so many features...

        I am using Idea number, and from last 2 days I called atleast 10 times to lodge a complaint regarding problem in my balance, Daily Rs 4 are deducted from my balance. I called idea customer care on 12345 so many times but it always say Network Busy.
        When we need customer care it always say Network Busy.

        Note: So plz plz plz don't use Idea Cellular i[censored] want good service.
        idea is a mother [censored] network, coustmer care is sick and i have the problem since 2 months, i made several complaints. no body wants to meet mechaek wats the problem. all of a sudden they call me one day and say the issue is resolved. how can they they the issue is resolved while i still have it. i tot i will discontinue and told them. and then the networks problem ws gone. and after i paid my bill the problem started again.

        i cant listen to people when they call or when i call. the minutes keep ticking but no voice at all

        Idea Cellular — CALLING PROBLEM

        As i had a new idea connection of punjab and number is [protected] and from the very first day i am facing same problem that when i make a call my voice do not reach where i make that call but i was charged for that call some time when i am on call the call get dissconnect and there come network failure . As i am fed up from idea network in punjab plz help me out tkz

        this is the problems arries last few days in dabhel industrial co opp.soc.plot no:178/1, 185/2 Dabhel nani Daman, we are not found network coverage inour office few days ago ancor company was burn this was the time our network problems aries.
        kindly solve this problems and take necessory action.this prblem is not mine all are suffer who are used IDEA connection.

        TI — Poor Customer care

        Till now I had made my monthly payments without any backlogs. The last bill which I got was for Rs. 828, and I went to the office directly and made the payment of Rs. 800. But after 2 days my connection got suspended. When I enquired about this, I got the message that my internet got disconnected becasue of non-payment of shifting charge. I was ready to pay that, but this amount was not mentioned in my monthly bill also.

        I missed lot of important appointments and opportunities becasue of this cheap quality act from Tata Communication. Huge loss happened to me. I understood that TI is much more concerned about money than the customer satisfaction. They dont care about the customer.

        Dont expect these private eye on the money companies to do service for you. They are here to make money that too lots of it. Some they will give to ministers. Some to their senior employees and rest the will eat. All are the same TATA, RELIANCE, BHARTI. Now the ministers want to sell the rest of the PSUs and pocket some money.

        All those bhais out there who support privatization, arent you seeing these loads of complaints?

        Idea Cellular — Delay in response and poor customer care

        On 13th April 2010 i requested for activation of GPRS Net20 plan on my phone through SMS. I got a reply that server is down, try after sometime. Then i called customer care for activation and i was told that it will activated in next 48hrs (SR No.1-[protected]).

        On 14th monthly plan of GPRS was activated on my phone instead of requested one and i was charged for the same. I called up customer care and i was told that this money would be refunded and NET20 will be activated by 16th April 10AM (SR No. 1-[protected]).

        On 15th i called again and i was told to wait till 16th 10AM (SR no. 1-[protected]).
        On 16th April at 10AM i was told to wait fro 4 more hours.
        Then I called around 4PM and i was told that it will activated by 17th April 10AM as a new request was generated on 15th so 48hrs.

        On 17th april at 6PM i was told that there was no NET20 GPRS plan activation request for my number and hence nothing can be activated. only request was the refund of money deducted on 14 due to wring plan.

        All these calls i made i did while i was on roaming. I called every time and every time i was given a new date and time for activation of gprs and finally i had no gprs on my phone for the duration i wanted.
        and on 17th i was told that no request existed for gprs activation.

        I had to waste a lot of money using internet from other sources and making these calls while in roaming.
        I want an explanation of this behavior and compensation for this mental harassment.

        I have been using this IDEA connection since last 7 years and now these kind of problems have increased.

        Idea — Network problem and lying

        I am Avik Biswas.Im an Idea user.My nymber is [protected].I have recharged with 98 rupees 7 days before but still I'm unable to search any site in internrt.I complained in customer care.At first they told me,that their network has problem and it will be solved quickly but now Im told that my hand set has problem. My set is perfect because Im able to work in internet through this handset while using other network.So they are lying and my money is going to be wasted.So please take care of this matter.I'll be grateful to you.

        with out notice me they disconnect my connection and i dont know why my number is [protected]
        As i am Idea Subscriber from last 3-4 month and i have alredy submited all my document even after doing the verfication this cellular company is disconnecting my service after every 1 month why after doing the verfication this company is doing such a thing after calling customer care service the only answere i am getting is 1) what is your curent balance2) what document you have submitted 3) Have you recived any verification call ? my only question is before taking the card this dealer are easily giving the card and taking the document why not that time all this verfication is being done, as i am working with Pharma company and, i am not able to pick up any call of the Idea company . If the call is not being picked the out going service is being blocked As my 4 family members are using this Idea company card they are not being disconnected ever as our address are same . I am really pissed up

        Idea Cellular — Not getting connection for Net connect

        Dear sir,
        I puchased the data card Net setter from Idea on 16th Jan 2011. When I started using from 20th Jan 2011 I could not get connection even for 15-20 min. After that I could not use the card because the speed was very very low. I have to wait for 5-10 min to open the web page. The first I complained on 30th Jan 2011 since then I was complaining and complaining to their customer care dept. they also registered my complaint send some persons to study the problem but till today the problem is worsen rather than solving. Today the situation is I just do not get connected to Idea network at all. In spite of all these complaints the co. sends me regular bills (for what I do'nt know). Is it not a shameless act on their part?

        Hi, I am Chandra kanth, from hyderabad, I've been using idea since 4 yrs, all these years have been like hell for me, whenever i tried to call someone, after sometime the connection disconnects, the reciever thinks i am hanging up the phone, this happens when i am having phone interview also, sometimes they deduct my balance 4 or 5 Rs per day, so now since 2 weeks i've switched to Airtel, best so far, nice network coverage, good internet browsing, etc.,

        SO I[censored] WANT TO CHANGE UR LIFE WHICH HAS BECOME DRASTIC AFTER USING IDEA, SWITCH TO ANOTHER NETWORKS, I RECOMMEND AIRTEL...

        Hey my girlfriend is in Hyderabad. I am always experiencing a bad network while calling her. This is a service which is very badly bugged up. Crap service. I would never go for it.

        This is to inform you that,i bought one idea sim card from India in february 2011,after that i got shifted to Dubai in same month,its almost two months now,i jst want to know whether my sim card is working or not,i m trying to call from same but its not showing any responce,so could i come to know wether its working or not,if its not please inform me the procedure to start the same card,& one more thing i want to know idea sim card use in dubai & its charges.please help me for the same

        M Kanishq, using idea no for last 2 years, the services are well at starting few months n after that the no become one of the worst thing of my life, m very upset for not taking any action on my complaints, they activate radio service on my ph without giving any info, n when i chkd my balance its almost finish. When i talked to customer care executives the response was very poor, thet don't even know that how to handle the probs.
        Whenever i recharged my ph the balance cut itself, it happens almost 6 to 8 times. Its my humble request to every idea user to change ur no. by using no portability service, not even abhishek using the idea services.
        The net connection is also very very poor, all of the they shown on advertisement is trule fake...

        Idea — Delay in GPRS activation

        I recently port'ed to Idea and since then i m facing lots of problem from their side. firstly they took more than 15 days to port. Secondly their network has been very lousy, calls get disconnected/cracking of voice/unclear receiving. I tried to register complain by calling 198, but they wont accept a complain. giving out reasons ur cellphone has problems. I used docomo sim and it was working very fine in the same cellphone. the actual problem is delaying in my gprs activation 30rs per day plan. i tried to register through SMS to 54666, recieved conformation sms that service will be activated within 24 hours. but it never happened. i again tried to register through 198, they said my request has been taken and that it will activated within 48 hours. i waited for 48 hours and i'm still waiting. I had requested to activate on 11-6-11 time 9.30am and till to date it hasnt been activated.My number is [protected] & request ID no. is 1-[protected]. Do you guys have any IDEA when my services will be activated??

        dont use this hell network...they are ..they simply deduct the money without any notification...and about refunds they dont know what is the meaning of refunds...they dnt even receive call when we call them for any info..
        The worst Cellular Company In Indian History is Idea Only. Ofcorse it will change ur life to worsen. It will make u Mental, its my experience in short period of 3 months and when i ask with my friends they are also frustrated with services of Idea. every day balance vanishes without information, when approach customer care no proper reply. when request clarification they disconect the call and block the call. do we need frustration like these. do we need to continue with Idea. i think its better to switch to any other services. Slowly i am planning to keep Idea sim idle. for incoming call only.

        Im using idea for last few years and i have activated 3G plan in it. Im been charged amount for what i have not downloaded.
        Besides requesting for resolution to the customer care officer MR.JAGDISH the was no solution to the problem and he refused ti help me.
        I heard that many people have this problem but now i do say that idea is giving very poor services now with helpless customer care officers.

        I am also a post-paid idea user. I had to pay my bill amount and today is last day. When I tried to login in idea portal, it accepted my credentials and on home page, it shows a message "please wait while we are loading your profile". After waiting almost an hour, system displays that your profile does not exist in our database. I tried 3-4 times and it almost waste my 4 hours. Then I called idea care and asked for resolution they said "Sir server down hoga, hamne aapka problem note karliya hai".Customer case executive didn't even care to check what's the problem? I again asked for resolution so he asked me to pay by bill on visabillpay.com. I don't have visa credit card or debit card and I am helpless.

        I am seriously concerned about their services...often network do not work, no transparency in bill amount, no offers. Now I am planning to port on some other network provider.

        Idea peoples are wasting too much money on fancy advertisement. Instead they should spent some money on improving their services and infrastructure. Because ultimately, company can survive in market only through services and infrastructure.

        This is to bring to your notice that, i am experiencing poor signals in a city like gurgaon. I need to travel From Gurgaon to Bhiwadi

        (close to Haryana border) in Rajasthan on daily basis. From the time i have shifted to idea, i am experiencing a drastic change in

        signals, since one year, i have difficulty in talking on phone, and also using 3G data. And when i heard that Ideas don't have its own

        3G services and its takes support(or whatever) from vodafone, i was shocked.(This i got confirmed, by the vendor from which i have

        taken the connection, I get a "R" symbol as in Roaming in the same city which the number belongs). I took a corporate plan, monthly

        plan for 199/- for calls and 225/- for 3G data.

        The plan is very good, when compared to the other competitors. But no effective service.

        I am very surprised to see your promotion Ad's on TV, they are always good, and interesting .. What an !dea sir ji...and the latest

        IIN.. Are good to see on TV's but coming to actual.. its totally different.

        By telling all these i want to highlight the main thing that the signals are too bad in this stretch, and also in Bhiwadi, and the 3G

        data is very very poor. I daily surf net on my way to home in order to enhance my knowledge that required for my career and also for

        social well being. But it has been declining since last year.

        I hope and wish you to have a wonderful year 2015 and make your commitments perfect and improve on these above small areas.

And when the try to put the same as complaint.. it was frustrating.. it limits up to 250 characters, in which i have to delete 75% of matter i have composed or already written, since there was no counter available... i went on writing the complaint.         Giving a feedback is a good thing, but taking a feedback is great thing for a service provider like your. So please appreciate the valuable time people are spending the same.         Idea, you deduct my 460 rs last night. And thats not first time. My internet pack was not over that time if over then you didn't notify me, i didn't receives any message, i dont make anycall nor subscribe any vas services.         All my family members recently ported to Idea Cellular network from other networks. But Idea network is really pathetic and at my home there is no range. We didn't face this problem earlier with other network provider. It is very very very poor.

        Just yesterday I got msg from idea that 50MB 3G free activated on my mobile for 7 days. I started use and my balance cut. Today I am complaining and I got answer that by technical default 50MB not credited and I won't got my balance back they will credit 50 MB after 24 hrs.
        If I did not get msg I did not start to use 3G service of internet it was their fault they are accepting and not refund my money saying that u have used data.

        The advisors will get incentives in the name o[censored]psell...now what is upsell?😠 Example you have taken a plan of say 500 if the advisor will convince you and change plan to 800 / 1000 it is upsell to the advisor...the advisor will get 1% of total upsell in a month...
        People were calling from Kerala...most people will get fooled of advisors words and opt for higher plan hence they get 1000s+ as bill...
        Please dnt get fooled by advisors talk I personally know many who fools people by using many tricks they will say there is pack called 999 and u can opt it but it is a pack ...the advisors won't get any prob because they say prorate basis...means that particular plan or pack how much day u use accordingly u will be charged the rent and benefits u can use...
        Many customer will call to activate booster packs and advisor instead of activating booster pack convince the customers and change the plan hence they get heavy bill...

            My sim lost in bus. So, on 6 th June 2009, I went to Idea Service centre, Richmond road, Bangalore for collecting my duplicate Idea sim card. There I showed voter id and passport as identification, but they want local address proof only. Then I told them to verify Photo & signature. But they told me that they did not have photo & signature sample.

            My Idea number is [protected]. It was issued by Spice(now Idea) to my brother Amarjit Kumar. At that time, he gave them voter or passport (I did not remember exactly which one). Now I was using the sim.

            If Idea(Richmond, Bangalore) did not have photo & signature sample, that is not my problem. Passport & voter id card is national identification, but still they are not accepting it, Why?

            Why they want local address proof now? If it is required, then why they issued sim without local address.

              Please try to increase your level so that more people can get connected with Idea.

                I am writing this from Chembumukku, Kochi, Kerala
                I have three Idea connections (2 postpaid & 1 prepaid) in my home (Personal, Offical & Mother's)
                I was shifted from Padivattom (Kochi, Kerala) to Chembumukku on 24th of April 2009. I my new location (Chembumukku) idea coverage is very low. I have registed so many complaints through phone & Mail. But every time I am getting the answer "We will check and correct it soon"

                Now i am going to disconnect all my idea connections. Let this not happen to others

                Sir am writting this mail from Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, sathyamangalam(Erode district) tamilnadu.. Pin:638401.. Still today 22.06.2009 idea coverage is not in our coll... i hope it will come soon... but my kind request is while putting coverage tower in our college please put high coverage tower to get inside hostel rooms, if you do this it wil make free to talk without poor signal... we 30 friends bought 30(1 Each) connections in Erode together.. but when we gone back to our college there was no idea coverage in sathyamangalam(Erode) district... please make coverage soon...

                  I am Lijo Varghese is here, from Kerala. I have send the following mail, but haven't received any response. so, I am sending this mail to the higher authorities.

                  On 31st March, 2009 I bought an Idea net setter ( No. [protected] ) from Nest Enterprises Thiruvalla[protected]. One Mr. Vijith C. R., BDO was the person from whom I baught it. On buying the same, as per the advertisement by Idea, I was qualified for a tour package. Mr. Vijith got the form filled up by me and gave me its counter foil. Its PIN no is 685118. They filled up form was atken by Vijith and I was told that they will send it to the Sshan Incentives Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd. and they will contact me back and I just have to follow their instructions to do the bookings and all. I believed he was right and kept waiting for the call from chennai. In between when I asked him again regarding this and I got the same reply. After a long time of waiting I send the following mail. But, I didn't get any response from anybody. So, I called up the Chennai people's number and i came to know that i was supposed to send the form ( which was already taken by Vijith) along with tha draft for Rs. 1000/-. I called up Vijith and he gave the number of nest Enterprises. When I called them up, they way the responded was as if making fun of me. They gave their Channel Head, Mr. Sunil's number. But, that guy hasn't attended my call for the last two days. When i called up the toll free customer care, the executive who attended the call was unaware of this Tour package offer itself.

                  I hope I will get a fair response for this mail. If I am not getting a reply for this mail also, I will be forced to take other legal actions for cheating the customers like this by simply giving unfullfilled offers as marketing tool. I also, havedoubt whether this so called authorised distributers have used my form and has availed the tour package themselves. Anyway, this is too bad an impression for Idea cellular.

                    Hi,

                    How !dea treat the loyal customers!!

                    Not to mention that I have been a customer since last 3 (THREE) Years!

                    I went to Kashmir last month on May 11, and on 26th same month I received a call from Idea Customer Care about the payment (that was due). As I was out of station in KASHMIR – the state where Internet does not work and phone is equally important as air to breathe.

                    I asked the representative to place a note on the account that I will make the payment late this time (once I will be back) extension for a weak. The representative (lady) accepted and said with a Promise that she will notate the account about the same and my service won't be interrupted.

                    You & Your PROMISE !! On the same day at around 10 PM my services were BARRED without even informing me or calling me for making arrangements!

                    I called the next day to CC and was transferred to some Manager who disconnected my phone without any resolution. I kept on calling from a PCO (that bills Rs. 2.50 /minute) and was kept on hold then transferred and then hold and then transferred ending Disconnection! No CALL BACK, no message No CARE!

                    I hired another SIM (local number) to be in touch with my family and colleagues. This cost me 500.00 (purchase /activation and call charges).

                    Ultimately, I called Delhi based friend and shared my personal information with him in order to facilitate the PAYMENT. The bill amount was ONLY Rs 757 and my Credit limit is Rs 2500.

                    This is not all!!

                    I reached Delhi on 5th of June and I tried to connect Internet on my phone but that didn't worked and I contacted Customer care on June 06th regarding the my Internet problem only. The rep told me that as I had not made payment on time my Internet Plan has been removed I don't know WHY my Internet plan has been removed without my permission.

                    My only mistake for all the above suffering was that I had not made my payment on time only once.

                    I want an immediate attention in this matter and a compensation for the service and the expenses that suffered with. I was left without a phone in KAHSMIR! You can understand the ground situation on earth there.

                    Awaiting for a reply at the earliest.

                      I requested the Idea for many more time to my balance is cut down. Before
                      3days in my mobile balance was 238, there after i have not called anywere
                      then after my balance is 158. I raised the complaint in Idea costumer
                      care connection but no body to take care of my complaint in Idea. Please

                          This is I was purchased Idea NetSetter and it is not working properly.When i was complained about this problem to that dealer, there is lack of response from them.I was cheated both by lost my monet and not able to use that service.I was suffered both mentally(no response from dealer and lost money) and Phisically(consulting the dealer daily about complaints).I strongly believe that this is the only place where i can get justice.

                          Its going to complete my one month uses of Idea's Netshetter on dated 27-jun-2009.

                          I have started complaining since 2nd June, and I have visited also Mulund My Idea gallery.

                          But, till date I have not getting any response from your side. What I can do for internet speed ?


                          I am checking my Internet every day (in day/morning/night all the time) in my house and in my office also, I am getting full tower, but not the speed.

                          I have talked about the same with Sachin at Mulund gallary. He is saying that my senior told me, nothing we can do about internet speed.

                          So, What I have to for the Internet speed ?

                          If there is no any solution for internet speed then How can i continue to pay you the charges ?

                          If you can not provide the speed, just reset/suspend my account, When you provide the speed that time active my account ?

                          So, at least I can save my time and money both.


                          Are you thinking about the customer ? Or just your doing business for your benefit.

                            I am having an Idea SIM card. I am receiving many calls from a guy - he tells me - calling from dubai and goes on changing his no. everytime. Idea dont have a facility of call barring. They are suggesting me to get the no. changed which is not a solution.

                            Could you please advice me, where I can approach, for block the annonimous and spams SMS and
                            Voice call, I know that it is knowing through your server, if any solution to block like this calls and SMS
                            I am also facing same problem. A guy is calling me approximately 15-20 times a day. When i called Idea customer care they suggested me to file an FIR in police station, but they can't barr the call. It is so cumbersome.
                            The guy Probably would be calling using the VIOP services (used for making cheap PC to phone calls) and the number u would be getting on ur mobile screen would be something like +60029239..etc.
                            Call barring facility is available with every network operator, however some of them are reluctant to provide the password.
                            What you can do is if you are using a symbian based software then install Advance call manager and blacklist calls from all the numbers which are not in you contact list.
                            If not, U also have an option o[censored]sing call forwarding to some other number..which u r sure no one will pick..or to an answering machine..this was the guy will atleast lose some money eveytime he calls you.

                              first of all they take 24 hrs minimum to activate the service, after that they don't send any confirmation msg about activation of the service, & the funny thing is that the download speed is in bytes from 300-900bytes/sec.my idea no. is [protected],

                              i will suggest you all to buy a airtel card if you are using internet, they activate gprs service within 2 mints, maximum 1 hrs. but idea... ya offcourse an idea can change your life, & i have totally changed, never 2 use idea service. but i recommend BSNL broadband service.

                                System had activated I2M Package on my prepaid mobile no. +91-[protected] w.e.f. 21-Feb-2009 without giving any request for activation. I had given a request SR. NO.[protected] to deactivate that service on dated 17-Apr-2009. After that package has been revert back. But, the charges deducted against that service still not refunded back. After no. of follow-ups on call centre, nothing has been done.

                                As above subject i am celluler user of Idea celluler ltd since last 2years, and my monthly billing avrage is 1700/- to 2000/- but last month i have recd 3500/- due from idea, and its almost double

                                  i m a idea mobile postpaid customer and using the service since last 2 years . In the month of june i had deposited the bill amount of Rs.700 to the local idea office that is pavni communication hardwar but after some time i came to know my amount is not being deucted till now and outstanding balance is being shown regularly.lot of complaint has been filed to the local office and customer care and no body is taking pain to settle the account now again i had deposited the amount of Rs.700.because company is charging Rs 100 per month from me for the late payment. also i m not receiving the bill since last 10 months.from the company.

                                    My uncle had purchased me an idea netsetter USB port with no.[protected] a few months ago.This time i.e 0n 29th may i had recharged it with 500 unlimited plan thinking of getting higher speed compared to that of my usual recharge of 103rs.But unfortunately it is dead slow it gives only 15 kbps max when the organisation promises 236.8 kbps not full atleast 100 should be given
                                    i need my 500 back or repair it now.

                                    i was in search of broadband when i came across Idea netsetter!!! 236.8 kbps is the speed that is promised by Idea. RUBBISH!!! This is one of the worst internet connections i have come across. They charged me 2490/- for the USB and thereafter i will be charged 849/- monthly for unlimited usage. High speed internet connection they say, i seriously dont know on what basis. I have used airtle gprs and trust me when i say that its better than netsetter. It takes 15 seconds to open the main page (google) . With 236.8 kbps i would expect it to open in not more than 3 seconds. Then if i have to send a mail, i have to wait for 2 minutes until the 'your message has been sent' page is displayed and most of the times the connection is lost and i have to start everything again from the scratch. HOW FRUSTRATING!!! When i tried to solve this dispute with the customer care, the answer that i got was 'Sir u leave in a remote area, thats the reason your internet is slow'..If thats the case why wasnt i informed about this when i purchased the connection? and its not there is no network connection in my area. My father uses Idea mobile and the coverage is decent.
                                    All said and done, i have to say that I have been fooled and i dont want anyone else to fall in this trap. So please refrain from using netsetter and go for something more reliable like bsnl or vsnl.

                                    When you insert another sim other than default operator... you have been asked to enter 8 digit unlock code.
                                    After entering it your modem gets unlocked for lifetime for any sim card around the world.

                                    To get your unlock code you have to spend just Rs.200 only... and for kinda of your info their is no other free solution for this all over internet... you can google it.

Quite a few months back i have taken another add on number to the above, this number was read as [protected]. All the three number were having same Corporate Plan 699.

                                      About two months back now i again got a call from there Sales Representative Divya with the number [protected] and she offered us to take an add on connection for the same plan.We hereby took the fourth connection [protected] but were surprised to see the different plan(ARP 699) mentioned in the letter dated 5/21/2009 via Contract Id - 1123352 signed by Gurpreet

                                      i have a university plan expiring in next 2 to 3 months. i visited rohini 16 idea show room and requested for change of plan. a plan on approval basis for rs 149 rental was told and confirmed after 3 days. later from customer care i came to know about rejection of request but for reason not known to them. who will tell me reason and why once said approved is rejected. i wish to disconnect the connection now.

                                        sir,
                                        idea customer care (u.p.)western zone, they are not pick up my phone. my cell is on roaming and when i tried to call them they just cut my phone after 50 or 40 seconds.
                                        i just want to close my all schemes . the schemes is Rs 4 are deducted frm my balance daily and but now my cell is on roaming and i jst want to close this schemes but they are not close that schemes.
                                        eveb they are not attend my call phone.
                                        i spend lot of money for calling customer care.
                                        please do something.

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        I am very unhappy to say that idea in tirupati is really 'changing our life' by getting shuntings from our higher officials.
                                        For the past 20 days we are unable to here the calls from the callers and similarly other end also not hearing our voice, eventhough full signal strength is showing in our cells. This scenario is not only from my cell all the connections which we are having in our organization. It seems you are running the show with low bandwidth, kindly make necessary arrangements to improve the bandwidth or solve the problem. I am givng some of the no which we are being used in our organization.
                                        [protected], [protected], [protected], 2209 and so on many.
                                        The complaint also given but, No response from your office side.
                                        the same group is working properly even in chittoor town, only in tirupathi this problem is there

                                        If this problem is not rectified, we will be forced to insist our commissioner of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad to switch over all group connection to some other cell provider.

                                        Dear sir,
                                        By 25th may 09, i got a message for tarriff of 199/- I2I free, and i used that facility by recharging of 199/- tarrif. Now yesterday i got another message for tarriff of 58/- Rs in which, STD call & SMS will be 1 Rs and Local call will be 60p and local SMS will be 50p. i used this facility also.

                                        Now Idea Has Deactivated my Previous Tarriff of 199/-. But they didn't provide me any information with that msg of 199/- tarriff, that if i use any other local facility, this tarriff(199/- I2I free) will bw deactivated.

                                        I talked to your Costemor Care, but they said, "they are unable to do anything".

                                        This was very unexpected and unsatisfactory experience with IDEA for me.

                                        Now i just want to say that, i need my I2I free facility back without spending any extra money.

                                        So plz help me in this matter.

                                        I'm quite upset with the agents you have hired. They are not able to provide customer support to us. Most of the time they disconnect the calls of customer, sometime they make lame excusses by saying there server is down, some time ask to call again as they cannot hear our voice.
                                        My problem is that Idea is detecting my Rs 8/- day without any reason. Even no service is activated on my cell. I don't know what is going on. I don't know to whom should I reach/contact to note my complaint. My cell# is [protected]. Can anyone help me?

In the month of June I had gone to my home town (UP), there I got a message from Idea customer that Rs.30/- has been deducted from my account because of getting activated Idea music station, I remained surprised because I had not given any such type of request when I tried to concact on customer care no. it was unable there. nobody can guess about my mentle condition that time because that time I was there for my sister's marriage. When I came back to delhi & complaint to customer care they said it is impossible to refund my balance, you can check i have not used this music station for even for single time, today in the morning when I got balance massage that Rs. 15/- has been deducted from my balance when I talked in customer care they said that it is a very good service & I should use this . I am very upset with these incedent and seriously thinking about stop using the no. furthor . I do not know how a customer based company can play with thier customers and can be unaccountable.                                         I have taken 2 new Idea connxn it was working fine for 10days later on both the no's got deactivated, when i checked with the dealer in Jayanagar 9th Block from whom i have purchased the connxn he confirmed the connxn has been deactivated bcoz he has not submitted the documents on time which is not my mistake, even after telling him several times the connxn is still not active from past 25 days, This is the worst service which i have never seen in my life.

                                        Whenever I called to customer care they always they misguide us. I have called them to ask related voucher for Validity extension. So somebody said that voucher of amount 50/-, somebody said voucher of amount 99/-. One of my friend did recharge of amount 50/- for validity extension. And he got validity till Aug 2010.At the same time I have i did the recharge of same amount still my validity is not extended. So, for that I call up to customer care. So one of person said that, "Idea" company have policy to which number they gave validity extension.And, when I asked him regarding company's policy he is totally speechless.And, also, said that you have to give a call to customer care before recharge.Is it good manner of helping customer. From last 8 years, I am using your services.But, this is first time I m facing such a kind of problem.
                                        How the company recruit people for customer care, who don't have knowledge of companies policies.

                                        I don't have any knowledge about music station. And i called customer care for assistence and the people replies that server is down or call after half an hour or tommoro, , , this how they did for 4 days and at last i called my friend who is working in idea call center and he gave my the details ...other wise this idea people haven't given even today...what to do with i people kindly help us for the next time.

                                        My son Amar Mhatre is your old customer. His cell no. is [protected] . From last few days he is having problem with your service. He is facing problem of reduction of his balance without any subscription or activation of service. On 7 Oct .at 2:22 pm one message received that ur subscription to missed call information has been activated. U have charge Rs 1/ day. That time somehow he managed to get refund his money by talking to customer executive. On 9 Oct at 7:57 pm another message received that we got ur dialer tone activation request. U have charged Rs 5. On 10 Oct at 6:51 pm one new message received that ur dialer tone service is suspended. His balance was deducted Rs 5 as he didn’t activate any service on his mobile. Same day evening I discussed this matter with your customer executive’s senior. He assured me that his balance will be refunded back within four hours which is still not credited. Today also I talked with your customer executives but satisfactory reply not given by them.

                                        So I kindly request you to stop autoactivation service if any you have started like other mob. companies & refund us Rs 5 early as possible.

                                        He got the mobile details of Nima"s mobile number threw his friend who is working in Idea office situted in Baroda.With out my permission or my wife's permission he got this personal detail by your authorized executive.

                                        Between this time nima change her mobile no.After that Her old mobile number:[protected] was activeted by Idea in January-2010 to another person who is in Rajkot Name: Anil Patel. Now Ronak Ahuja contect with Anil Patel & they harreshing both our friends & relatives.
                                        & he used to that details for harreshment to us. He is calling & sms our many relatives & frinds & talk with them very badly. Due to this reason we are very agree on him & i m submitt the complain againts him in Your Idea Customer care situted at Navarangpure, Ahmedabad.

                                        I want to take the legal action againts Idea, Ronak Ahuja & Anil Patel.How can Idea realeased Nima's personal Mobile call Deatils to any other person without her permission? Pls. explaine positively. If i m not satisfied with your reply, this issue is expose in media. & this is not good for Idea cellular Co.

                                        idea custumer are not talking action againg my complian from previous 5 days...
                                        they just givibng time...that it will b solve soonn...
                                        i got a recharge of 91 ..msg coupon, but it is not working and my normal balance is getting deducetd from my acount...plz take action...

                                        The worst services provides. Almost illetrate customer care attendants, never wanna use the services again even if this is the last option left on earth. Sick...Really sick services, not any personal grudge but the services are not actually worth spending for. The company should conduct a survey of its customer care centres to know actually what's happening instead of wasting money on all those Actors for promotion should better improve upon the current services. They cannot maintain their customers.

                                        I have purchagede aidea sim to bieng acostomer of the idea, but the deductions were contineously gone with out any information and message around Rs.100/- were deducted at the rate of Rs.10/- per day, when I asked to the costomer care after few days they told one music station service is active from your mobile, But I have not activated such service in my knoledge, the service which is from night 11.00 pm to 6.00 am, why somebody will reqiure such serviceduring sleeping hour. This type of fraud deduction of costmer making harrasment . I dont even listen this type of nasty activities does this type of phone service providers.

                                        But now I am un happy with Idea, because I have complained several times also regarding incoming un wanted messages like property & un wanted incoming calls from customer care. I would like to inform you to Iam a working women also, so I have limitations to attened this kind of calls & mesages.
                                        I have called several times to customer care but there are wrong response and also charged my calls( deduct my balance) . So kindly I request you to do needful . If you have not taken any action, I will be cancell this connection.

                                        I am a idea prepaid mobile user [[protected]]; I had recharged Rs 150 as a talk time and 59 as international package with in one day the whole 150 RS was gone with out any information. I want to know the reason behind this issue. 48 Rs I have spent on customer care number [protected], still I haven’t got the details. Now tell me how can I bear this..? I called couple of times to customer service [Bhagat Singh, Shiva and leela] from Idea AP are not responding proper. Every time when I call to customer care their response is the application or tool is slow and they have bad connection. I don’t now is this a service..? And I am been calling customer care from past 3 days and my issue is not solved, and more over pathetic service. I hope Aditya Birla has good reputation, but providing this type of service……! I don’t think that you can keep-up the same reputation in the days to come.

                                        Note: Please look into this issue with high priority, and I want a call back from your back-end department ASAP….with full details and credit me the amount back or els you will suffer the consequences.
