I have bought a mobile phone (moto g4 plus) from amazon.in
In the first week itself the phone started heating while using apps and charging.
As this is a new phone it has a turbocharger feature which charges phone in very less time, but with my phone it use to get charge in 5-7 hours, so to solve this issue i spoke to amazon, they suggested me to visit motorola service center.
I went to the service center as it is a motorola service center i was already prepared for a pathetic customer service, i told them the whole issue. after listening to my problem they asked me to leave the phone in the service center, which was not possible for me as i had only phone that time, i asked them if there is a issue how much time will it take to rectify the issue, and it was 20-25 days as per the service center representative. i requested him to please have a look once in front of me and he refused again.
So i came back with that issue only.
Today (19.10.2016) it's been like three months and my phone has several issues now.
1) phone vibrator is not working.
2) phone gets heat while using apps (even when using the preloaded camera app) and charging.
3) phone is now slightly bent from bottom, must be because of overheating.
4) phone automatically gets off anytime.

I went to the service center today and told them the entire issue, as obvious they refused to even examine the phone, then i spoke to motorola helpline:i told the issue to him the customer service representative said he cant do anything if the service center has refused to do service.
I asked him what should i do now, he said talk to seller (amazon.in) from where you bought this phone.
After that i called amazon.in helpline, after listening to my issue amazon customer representative told me to talk to the motorola only.
Now amazon has also refused to help, motorola has straight away said a no.
This is a last option for me to write here.
I hope this will help me.
I have attached picture of my phone for consideration, as you can see there is evidence of damage or scratch.
I have always kept mobile phone safe.

    Main board of my mobile is not functioning properly. so i gave it to service center in Ludhiana to Cell Tech India on 21 September. Customer care executive is saying that they have escalated my issue to higher authorities and they will call me on 26 September, 1 October, 4 October, 12 October and every 4th day I receive a mail that your device will be repaired by 12 October, 25 October, 28 October. I ask he address of their head office they said that they dont have any head office. Since 26 September I am waiting for their call.
    Its in Motorola Warranty Terms that if there is serious issue customer can demand for -
    1. repair the device,
    2. claim for new device,
    3. refund their money
    They were saying that they dont have such policy. Same things are written in their warranty terms which is in their website Motorola.in.
    They were bluffing and simply extending the date.

    Service center not responsive, my mobile is dead on on the day of purchasing of one month, when i contact service center they are telling parts not coming from head office.

      Hi,
      This is regarding my Motorola Xplay Mobile.

      I was send this phone to you service center on 30th July,
      2016. Still i have not received my phone. Your helpdesk
      every time reply me that contact to your service center and
      service center is not picking up my phone and if i visit
      personally they reply that part is not received and 2 times
      parts received is faulty from motorola. For me it is not
      possible to visit personally every time to your service
      center because it is 150 KM away from my hometown. So, reply
      me about the status of my phone and reason why it was
      pending from last 2 month otherwise i need to take some
      legal action on you.

      Yesterday i called moto service center( shree balaji communication ), he said that part dispatched last 8 days Motorola side, but not received till date, i call back moto help desk, he said that sir your call escalated upper level, he called you 24 -10-16 date, pls dont call help desk. i request my phone is last 3 month submitted service center. and my phone warranty expire service center.

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        I had purchased moto g4 play from amazon.in vide order number #[protected] by paying an amount of Rs.8999/- .The invoice does not have vat amount in it which otherwise is mandatory. I have found the product is defective one since it has got two sims which i have acativated with different telephone operators i.e.BSNL AND AIRTEL . If i make a call from BSNL sim call goes from AIRTEL and vice versa. When i contacted the seller i.e AMAZON.IN they say the return should be within 10 days only after purchase . I found the problem from 12th day onward of the purchase. I contacted the authorised service centre of Motorola mobility centre at Rajaji Nagar Bangalore who after inspecting the handset told me that the mobile should be reformatted. I formatted as told by the service centre still my problem could not get resolved. This amounts to gross negligence on the part of the seller as well as deficiency in customer service and care.

        Therefore I would like to lodge a complaint against amazon and motorola mobility and request you to pursue the matter with the above seller and manufacturer..Kindly do the needful and help me out from the present problem. In case if you need the invoice copy and the chat made with amazon people for doing further in the matter at your end.

            I am still awaiting response from motorola. You guys promised me to come back to me with the response and getting this resolved. I even sent over the detailed response to you stating my query and other details. Please see my other complaint details that you are handling

            I just want the issue to be resolved please without any hassle to me, i am feeling like being cheated with such worse kind of customer service from motorola.

            My 25000 inr is almost wasted now, i want either my money back and return the phone or another phone to be given to me. Cant handle more this junk piece of phone now.

            Let me know how are you going to handle this.

            I am receiving same copy/paste response from Motorola
            If they see my previous email, they can understand the entire issue but they send me this useless reply.

            This company should be sued and government should ban such type of companies

              Sir,
              regardless of submitting my phone again and again in the authorised service center(sai communication ghaziabad) my phone is not working properly. There were some minor issues of heating for the first time when i submitted the phone. When they returned it it worked properly for some time but after that it showed other issues like ok google not working loud speaker n micro phone sensor not working properly. I have submitted the phone at the same centre for 3 times in the past 6 month. I too have the issues with the service centre. They are too casual about the customers.firstly they take a minimum of 15days to return it..furthur they dont pick your call easily n if by chance you are lucky they misguide by saying that your phone is repaired n ready come tomorrow but actully when i reach there they deny it and simply say part nhi aaya tha srrySir,

                  Amazon Great Indian Festival (1st – 5th Oct’16) proved to be a real nightmare. Notable features of Motorola G4 plus (Order No: #[protected] inspired me to purchase it but was distressed when it stopped working on the very 2nd day. Replacement was guaranteed within10 days of purchase but in vain as they are not ready to replace or refund the money and is stating various excuses for the same. #[protected]@amazon.Beware!!!

                      Its going to be a 15 days ago, i am going to janak puri service centre to repair my phone regarding network issue problem, then they told me 'we have to change motherboard bcoz its not working properly even my phone in warranty (i purchased it on 5-6 month ago), then gave me a time of 1 week for repair, then after a week when i going to collect my phone, they told its still its not repair... then they again gave me a time to collect phone 2-3 days, again when i reached service centre... then its closed due to electricity problem in their room only. again i came on next day but still its not get repair, i asked him for last date to repair my phone... they again gave me a time for after 5 days,... after 5 days then again i came in the morning... they told..' its pending' and then i get angry and shouted on him then they told to collect in the evening... and when i finally collect my phone... then they gave me with new problem... that
                      1- censor not working
                      2- display in black screen show dark big green dots on the upper side of the display
                      3- they dont even fix the display in good manner (means... lcd screen display is not correctly fitted with the body)

                      Its a very bad situation for me... i wasted my petrol around 700-800 rs... and still dont get my mobile in proper condition..

                      Now i never suggest anyone to purchase motorola phones.

                        Dear Sir,

                        I purchased the handset from Amazon on dated 19th April 2016 with bill no. KA - BLR[protected]

                        After purchase of Moto G 3, I was facing a issue in my mobile, the applications was not working properly(hanging problem) and heating problem.

                        Even though Moto is knowing for hang free handsets.

                        I was submitted the mobile to my nearest service centre. they keep from 26/09/2016 and they are not fix it and my mobile is on service centre since 26/09/2016.

                        whenever I visited the service centre they give a same reply that part is not come.

                        When company can deliver a new handset threw online purchasing within 2 working days, How can it possible that a part of mobile cannot send in 15 days. It's really pathetic.

                        I belong to lower income group segment & I know how I arranged the money for the new handset. But now I am facing many problem in society. I am in totally mental upset condition due to company behavior/response.

                        If I will take any wrong step it's all credit goes to company.

                        Apart this if I will not receive my set within 5 to 7 days I will take it up in consumer court.

                          Hi,
                          I had given my motorola motog3 cell to service thrice for repair withing 5 months of purchase and while it was in repair for third time the motorola customer care executive promised me to extend the warranty period by three months due to repeated submission of phone and the phone was with motorola service center more than 4 months. But there has been no updates regarding the extention since i took the cell back. I sent an email to motorola director of services but did not receive any calls in response. I wan warranty of my phone to be extended as soon as possible because this is very faulty phone and there has been frequent repairs to it.

                          Motorola executive made a false promise to me saying he will extend the warranty time.
                          I want justice regarding this.

                            I have submited my phone to authorised motorola servives center at 23 july for problem in charging phone, my model is moto g 2gen and at that time i have pay rs-800/, and 2 days ago i have deposite my mobile phone again because of same chagring problem are there, and now the authorised person of servieces center is saying you will be submited rs-1200/- for this reparing charges..

                              I got my new mobile moto x style on 21 july 2016 for rs 22900.00 from online purchase. With in seven days the mobile set developed complaint for non functioning of slim slot. The device was given to the authorized service centre of mototrolla on 10.08.2016. Till date the set has not been rectified and returned.

                                Sir I bought my set in Jan.and I m using it but on 3rd Oct my set did not switch on after that next day I went to service center and they told me that my phones motherboard or battery may be curropted I asked them how long they took to give my phone back they promised me after one month sir how I arranged a mobile.for such a long time they don't keep part on service center then how could they give good service add ---shri jee communication bhagwati plaza hapur road meerut uttar prafesh

                                  I purchased Moto X Style on 21-June-2016 from Flipkart and within a month o[censored]se, touch screen stopped working. I contacted Flipkart to issue me a new piece as this happened within a month but Flipkart advised me to contact service centre and get that repaired.

                                  As advised by Flipkart I visited service centre on 03–Sep-2016 and service centre took my mobile by informing that it will be fixed within 10 days.

                                  Job sheet number is : AMSPSN001413

                                  I visited the centre after 10 days and even then it was not fixed.

                                  On 3rd Oct, 2016(after 1 month of submitting the mobile to service centre) I had a chat with motorola customer care and they told me that mobile is repaired and I can pick from service centre. So i visited there and service centre again told me that mobile is still not fixed.

                                  I made a call to motorola customer care from service centre to check the status of my mobile and they told me that the status is “Mobile repaired and delivered”. I requested motorola customer care to talk to service centre to check. After there call, service centre gave me a new job sheet number AMSPSN002326 and told me to track with this from now onwards.

                                  So basically they marked the original job sheet number as “Mobile repaired and delivered” may be to cheat motorola company that service centre is doing a great job and fixed the mobile within time and they issued a new job sheet number and provided to me so that they will again have sufficient amount of time.

                                  I requested the motorola customer care to raise a complaint for this. Complaint number[protected]

                                  I am totally fed up of visiting(there number are never reachable) service centre & all and feeling like handicapped as there is no help from anyone and everybody is cheating.

                                  There is zero professionalism of “service after sale” and if anything goes wrong with the mobile, customer have no option other than to suffer.

                                  Till today (08-Oct) I havent received my mobile and there is no update at all from motorola.

                                      Respected Sir/Ma'am,

                                      I am writing to bring your attention to a problem I am facing with my cell phone service since more than 2 moths. I, Chayan Doshi, the resident o[censored]daipur, rajasthan have bought motorola mobile phone moto x play worth Rs. 16499 from flipkart online on 18th january, 2016. Within 6 months of its usage, I started facing issue in power key button & screen getting dark from right and left side and gave it to the service center named rishabh telecom located at delhi gate udaipur 313001,[protected] with Job Sheet No. URT/MG/16/00429 on 20th of july 2016.
                                      Now the thing is my issue is not resolved till now, everytime when i go to service center or call them they reply your phone is pending we ordered parts you have to wait. i also communicate with company customer care so many times by calls[protected] or[protected] or emails
                                      ([protected]@mailwc.custhelp.com) they also not giving attention to my concern and always try to console me. Company customer care also done false commitments with me two times, i got call from company that your phone is ready to collect and when i visited service center they said it's not ready, its pending you have to wait.
                                      I would like to draw your attention to the issue that I have to travel almost 25kms evertime when i visits service center, taking leave from the office every time causes me several problems. It's been 80 days Now I am tired physically and mentally both.
                                      I request you to kindly look after the matter and get me the solution for it. I want my refund or help me to replace my cell with new cell phone.
                                      Please take the issue in handy and do the needful.

                                        I bought a new moto x play phone two months back and one of the top marketed features of x play is that it is water repellent.
                                        I was using this phone with a protective case which covers entire body except for headphones jack and usb charger point.

                                        Two days back there was a sudden rain in kolkata and while i was travelling in bike, the phone got wet. It was a sudden splash after so many days of scorching mercury. I came back home and when i tried to switch on my phone the screen was flickering. I wiped it and removed the case and put it in rice for two days to suck the moisture out it. But when i tried to turn the phone on after two days the screen is not turning on, but i am able to see vibrations in phone.

                                        I went to official motorola service center in bangalore koramangala and they inspected the phone and told me that phone has got water damage. They denied my warranty on counts of water damage.

                                        I checked online and it seems moto x play is resistant to water splash as per many videos and news in internet. I bought the phone considering this and battery backup as primary feature.

                                        But when the phone cannot even stand a rain, why is it heavily marketed as water repellent and hence deceiving customers.

                                        I had another phone sony xpria XA which was water repellent than moto x play, but it never marketed it as a feature inside it. Most of the phones in market has more water blocking property than moto x play.

                                        I would say motorola is deceiving customers by a fake feature which never exists in their product to get unfair advantage. The product moto x play is not actually water repellent in real world conditions or my phone has got some serious manufacturing defect.

                                        Motorola support is having double standards in this aspect and never respecting customer money.

                                        I would like to get my phone fixed under warranty as it is a feature which never worked as advertised.
