I made an online purchase of paediatric medicine, two units of orovit drops 15ml, from netmeds on 16/02/2019. I received the order on 18/02/2019.
The product invoice mentions the description of the two units separately as;
1. Ovovit drops 15ml, hsn 3004, mrp 55.00, batch no nob-15, expiry 01/20
2. Ovovit drops 15ml, hsn 3004, mrp 55.00, batch no nob-16, expiry 03/20.
The actual products received were;
1. Ovovit drops 15ml, mrp 55.00, batch no nob-15, expiry 01/20
2. Ovovit drops 15ml, mrp 50.00, batch no nob-110, expiry 04/19.
The invoice does not match with the product sent to me. Moreover the paediatric medicine sent to me expiring. The product takes more than a month for my child to finish it. That means that the product will expire during the course of administering the medicine.
The actual price of the medicine in the market is rs 50.00 for old stock and rs 55.00 for the new stock. One of medicine which i received is an old stock and is expiring on april 2019. The price of rs 50.00 was striked off on the medicine pack.
In short, i have paid rs 93.50 for one unit of medicine of the price rs 55.00
I have contacted the netmeds customer care many times intimating the matter. Each time, the netmeds customer care responds with the same reply that a cash back of rs 93.50 has been credited to my netmeds wallet.
If i have money in my netmeds wallet, the company could have sent me the product after these repeated complaints
The response from the customer care that the money is credited to its wallet is not acceptable to me. Please direct the company to refund the money, as i hove lost the trust through repeated emails. I am ready to return the old product or both which are sent to me.
Kindly take up the matter and settle it at the earliest.
