Don't buy One Assist smartphone insurance. This is a big FRAUD. Please read it once.
Trust me guies, Unfotunatly i am the unfortunate customer of this company.
My name is Vrajesh Raval. My memebership number is [protected]. I have bought MA Total Protection 35k-50k plan for my bran new LG G5 for Rs 2989.
After some weeks i accidentally broke the screen of my smartphone. Then i go for this insurance claim. My claim num. is SR#1712082. They have picked up my device for repair at 24th of December 2016 & till now my device still with them after one and half month.
At the time of buying insurance they claim that they will give you 100% cover for any Physical damage & all process for claiming & repairing timing will be 20 to 25 days after the device picked up.
Although after a 1 and Half month long process they had rejected my claim. without a reason. They estimated the cost of broken screen is 30000. Here comes the big bluff even I phone 's screen dose not cost you this much. Even after rejecting my claim they do not give my device back.
They have keep it for reconsideration. after 4 days they will give me answer. But i know, it will again take at least a month. After so much calling to customer care service & mailing them i do not get appropriate answer of time, VERT UNPROFESSIONAL. So they left me no choice but to go to a CONSUMER FORUM.
One more thing they offering courtesy handset to attracting buyers.
They say they will give an alternate handset to use for your damaged handset until repairing, it's a big MYTH. They do not give me yet.
I hope this review & experience will help.Please Don't buy.

Updated by vraj_raval As i wrote before they just proved themselves a big fraud. They just simply rejected my claim by EXCLUSION 10 - Loss or damage caused by wilful negligence (No proper care of handset has been taken by insured to safeguard the property).
I think this is like, u want to reject claim u can do it by showing any ridiculous rule. I mean any Accident happens because of not taking good care of.
At time of buying insurance your company says your company covers all accidental damages & now you just simply rejected my claim after tow months of long period. If my case was under exclusion 10 & was not able to clear the claim, you could made me informed at the time of claiming & save my time. But you just played me & you also fooled me with the lollipop of courtesy handset.
Now it is clearly appeared a big fraud. It is also appearing that the main cause of rejection is because of i stepped forward to concern the consumer forum. Now I want refund.
I got my smartphone back & went to LG care & they repaired it for free as it is in warranty.I strongly appreciate but you are ridiculous, . Also oneassist could done it if they took my device to genuine lg care but they go for other false service center and put my device's authenticity on danger. this is unprofessional. Please refund my money. You gave me device back with not working software faults, which were taken care ny Lg care.
I want every record, service center name, invoice number & my claim number to the insurance company.
I also know that company's reply will not be specific and It will be' We are very sorry to hear about your experience and regret the inconvenience caused to you.' that's it.

as the damaged occured, I handed over the same to Oneassist with all documents required. They took quite long time to return the phone however, Once returned, found sim tray was missing. Its been a month, I have talked to them over phone, I am having all phone recordings. I have written many emails.
I have sent one final email on 15th February 2017 as 7 days notice to respond back and take action. However No action from OneAssist.
I have also copied IRDA compaint channel. Received a call from MI India representative but nothing after that.
I have prepared papers for filing a case in Consumer court against MI India and OneAssist and also seeking information from Ombudsman if Oneassist is a legal company to sell insurance in india.
Anyone out of you who can provide a piece of advice would be helpful or anyone else who want to come along while suffering the similar issue is most welcome. You may contact me on sonu.[protected]@gmail.com and we shall file several seperate cases against these neglecting companies.
I will keep updated about the progress time to time here for anyone's help or advice.
