I have booked tickets with redBus.in for a couple of times, all i have to say is that they don't have a proper information about the Vendors they have listed on their website, mostly vendors change the buses which they have promised while booking and advice you to sit in another Bus when you reach the venue. I remember i had to go to Lucknow and i was called at a different place as my Departure point and then in the middle of my journey towards the destination for Departure the vendor calls me and very rudely tells me to arrive at Pacific mall, Ghaziabad in next 30 minutes or else he would move my bus, this was a kind of a Threat and i would like to mention that when i reached there, it took him another 2 hours to move the BUS from that point as he was waiting for some other passengers to arrive who were supposed to board some another BUS. RedBus basically has no say to these Vendors i am sure, because i raised a complaint against this particular vendor named CHAMUNDA TRAVELS who is proudly registered with REDBUS for some good enough time, redBus is so pathetic that they have posted similar same Images and Videos for the Buses, no matter what BUS you choose to see before Booking it. In that BUS all the passengers were getting frustrated and when a lady threatened the Bus manager then only the BUS was moved, no water bottles and blankets were provided and customers were just pissed off, plus the Bus manager also mentioned that all of this fuss is because of stupid companies like RedBus, now all i want to know that why the hell redBus has kept such vendors with them... and i would like to calrify that RedBus.in is misleading customers by showing them wrong images of Buses while booking and there are always different buses waiting for customers to board, "IT'S NEVER THE SAME BUS WHICH HAS BEEN SHOWCASED WHILE BOOKING" RedBus.in needs to grow up now as an ecommerce platform or else they will be replaced by a better website soon..

      Dear sir, I have booked ticket of my brother and his wife from Gangakhed to Pune using RedBus as online service. They issued a valid ticket to me. My brother and his wife arrived at pick up time before time of departure but no bus with the name mentioned in ticket was not found. Bus operators calls the passenger at the pick time before they leave the spot. In our case neither any call was made to the phone number I have provided while booking the ticket nor any one had picked up the call, when I tried to call the bus service operator number provided by RedBus. Due to this, caused a lot of inconvenience to my brother and had difficult time that night to find shelter. Next day he caught State transport bus and came to Pune. Issues ====== 1. Bus did not pick up my brother 2. When complained to RedBus, RedBus came up saying that...Bus was not cancelled and customer has travelled. This is absolutely wrong and lie. I am attaching both the tickets. One I booked with RedBus and other my Brother travelled through State Transport next morning. I need to take this to consumer court as RedBus is not helping to investigate this throughly.

          Sir, I have booked two tickets from Mumbai to Shirdi, through redbus.com forn Neeta bus survice, Mumbai. TIN- TG6H34444888, PNR NO[protected] DEP. TIME-7 Pm Tickets booked on 19-5-14 at 3 Pm.through online Sir, One of the passenger was not able to travel due to dyscentry, and sevsre vomiting .So i requested both(Neeta bus service & red buss )For reufunding and cancellation, but they not only refuse for refund but talked so roughly Sir please I will highly feel obliged, if you will take naccessary action against both for MISBEHVIOR and NON REFUND of payment . in the aspiration of right JUDGEMENT THANX

            Hello redBus, Hope, I'm writing this complaint against you after several follow-ups with your team for a bus ticket booking - refund. I booked ticket from Chennai to Madurai (Travelling date: 15-May-2014) but i cancelled the ticket on 13-May-2014. I received an confirmation saying the amount will get refund to your account in 7 days. I tried calling redBus for more than 10 times after 7 days. I didnt get my refund amount and i'm totally upset with the way the entire customercare departmart works. They are placing the call on-hold and disconnecting it.               I had forced to book a bus ticket from Hyderabad to Tanuku on 04/29 from RED BUS due to persona reasons . All of my options were void and i found few bus seats are available at premium rate in RED BUS . I have booked the ticket by paying almost 100% excess fare. I was surprised after getting in to the bus around 11 PM night . The bus condition was very bad including engine, seats and hygenic conditions with in the bus . I was really scared and skeptical that bus would take me to destination . Adding to this bus roaming in city to fill the cabin seats, the driver and attendar both were very unpolite with us and onboared more passengers both in cabin and even people were sat on walk way. With lot of troubles, i could reach my destination around 10 AM ( 5 hours delay for traveling 450 KM with 100% excess pay) The reason i am putting this message is, please be vigilant on ticket booking thru RED bus particular during rush time. I have given this feedback to RED BUS, unfortunately i did get a very generic response and RED bus is owning anything about the bus quality and saftey, excepting selling ticket for a margin.

                I booked a round trip Manali to Delhi on 21/05/2014 for 6/06/2014 from Delhi and 10/06/2014 from Manali...i selected seats and gave them the details but while making transaction it showed transaction failure due to shortage of funds... I tried 2 or 3 times but still showing the same but when I checked my balance from ATM, balance got deducted by 11370 but no mail or no booked tickets are showing ... then i called their customer care but they keep on saying, your money will be credited in 7 days and given me the transaction id which is 34038136 but as i am watching those types of complaints of redbus.in ... i want my money to be refunded as soon as possible otherwise i do have to go to court against them and file case against them for doing frauds

                  I had reserved for 3 tkts from Coimbatore to Pune for my aged Mother and 02 Aunts. For boarding the bus from Coimbatore at 1430 h, I started from Cochin at 0930 h on the morning of 11 May 14. I also received an SMS reminder to be on time for boarding the bus from Redbus at 1018 h. On reaching the Specified Bus stop at 1410 h, the Operator gave a blank look saying your ticket is not registered and hence not confirmed with us. Moreover the bus has been cancelled. He gave a redbus number to call and I did call that number only to be directed to call some customer care number since this is Agent care number. Anyways, after struggling with the IVR, gave a call back to the first number(Agent care number) and narrated my situation. Ms Irfana was the person I spoke to at 1425 h. She apologised for the inconvinience and confirmed that help will be provided. To which I stated that I don't need help, I deserved the service to be provided and she replied by saying that we will get back in 15-20 min". I also got a SMS seeking feedback on the service at 1437 h. I received a SMS stating "We tried calling you to inform you that your bus is cancelled by the operator. Call us within next 30 min for an alternate booking and to avoid auto-cancellation at 1746 h. Not only did I have to undergo severe mental stress at an unknown place due to all the miscommunication I lost a lot of money making alternate arrangements for my relatives' travel. The requirement was for them to reach Pune by 12 May 14 morning. I finally had to book them a private taxy to Bangalore. They were stuck in Bangalore till 12 May 14 and could reach Pune only on 13 May 14. All these details were emailed to the company REDBUS and the only reply I get is that "inconvineince caused is regretted, as per your request, the ticket has been cancelled and please provide bank details for processing the refund. The company was fraudulently trying to say that they tried to contact me to convey the bus cancellation and if you don't revert within 30 min, your ticket will be cancelled. I had to bear the losses of making additional booking of Taxy from Coimbatore to Bangalore, accomodation at Bangalore and bus booking from Bangalore to Pune. Please advise what can be done to recover the losses from the company REDBUS

                  Sir, your petitioner booked three tickets through Redbus.in on the internet from Udaipur to Ahmedabad bearing number TG9C89539383 for 16th of August 2014 in the name of myself, my wife Vineeta Daga and one Mrs. Sangeeta Sanghvi. The time of departure of the bus of Volvo make from Udaipole, Udaipur was 7 AM.
                  That on the date of departure your petiotioner along with other companions reached the spot at 6.35 AM and reported to their agent Shreenath Travels.
                  The petitioner patiently waited till 7.05 AM and when the bus did not come, petitioner frantically tried to call Redbus (number given on the ticket as [protected] & [protected]) but no one took the call although it was tried at least 25 times.
                  At about 7.25 AM, the petitioner was told by their agent that the bus which was coming from Delhi got cancelled and as such there will be no service on that day. That your petitioner had to reach Ahmedabad as there was an urgent meeting with a client for a business deal at 12.30 PM at Ahmedabad and thereafter had to catch a flight for Kolkata at 4.40 PM.
                  That Shreenamth travels told your petitioner that there is another bus which shall ply on the same route and shall depart at 8.30 PM. That your petitioner had no other option but to catch the bus to reach Ahmedabad, As a consequence, petitioner's client cancelled the meeting as the bus would reach at 1.30 PM and your petitioner lost a deal which he was sure to clinch the deal had the meeting taken place.
                  That the unprofessional attitude of Redbus amounts to criminal negligence and deficiency in service is menifest in their action.
                  That in order to hide their deficiency in service Red bus sent your petitioner an sms at about 10.07 AM on 16th August from DZ - SRINTH which says that they had given confirmed tickets for 17th August 2014 which for your petitioner never asked for. More surprisingly the petitioner was never asked to pay for this ticket which confirms that they were hiding their misdeeds.
                  That upon reaching Kolkata your petitioner immediately mailed Red bus narrating the ordeal and anxiety they have suffered but to their utter dismay they blatantly denied the fact that their bus was cancelled and refused to refund the money and that apart refused to tender an apology.
                  That your petitioner prays before you r honour to grant adequate compensation from Red Bus for the unnecessary trouble and mental agony caused by their deficiency in service and for the loss of business that your petitioner suffered for the cancellation of the meeting.
                  In a conservative estimation the loss of business should be to the tume of minimum 10 lakhs and your petitioner had to purchase fresh tickets for 8.30 AM bus which cost them Rs. 1500/- Esteemed sir, Kindly do the needful so that this unprofessional attitude of the opposite party is not repeated in future.

                    Hi, I have booked Bus from Nagpur to Pune on 3rd May for journey date 4th May. After Half an hour I got call from Red Bus customer care that my tickets are not confirmed, so I can take another bus or they will return full amount. I asked for full refund and customer care agreed on same. But after a week when I didn't received my money back I called their customer care but they are saying my tickets are confirmed but I have not travelled. I have logged complaint with them, provided the numbers and time from which I got call, as they said they can investigate, as they have all their calls recorded, but they after providing this information they are not replying me back.                       Hello, My Mobile Number: +91-[protected] I had booked my Mum-Bangalore-Mum Ticket for Onward journey on 17 May 2014 & return journey on 18 May 2014 via Redbus in S.R.E Travels. I learnt from Bus driver at the time of boarding for onward Bus that my ticket is not confirmed and hence I cannot board the bus. Later, I spoke to Redbus representative (Mr. Charan - Floor Supervisor), I got confirmation that I will get full refund for my Onward Journey Ticket and for my return journey ticket I will get 50% and remaining 50% cancellation fees will get refunded after I send email to [protected]@redbus.in . To my surprise, I got message on 18th May for my return Ticket and when I spoke to redbus representative today morning again, I learnt that both my tickets are still not cancelled. I'm really frustrated with the overall experience.. Would appreciate if you can help me resolve this issue at the earliest and will be with the Refund. With Regards, Sayed Yunus

                          I booked the Tirupathi Package Tour through Redbus.in on 4/4/2014. Ticket number : TG[protected]. Travels Name : S.V.R Travels. Travel Date : 7/4/2014. Bus Type : AC HITECH. Number of Seats Booked 4. Total Amount : 5596. We booked the AC HITECH bus to Tirupathi, but the SVR travels Provided for us is Non AC Bus. For that they provided the reason is AC Not working on the bus and they are repairing the AC and they said vechile will be delay for one hour. But after one hour they are running the Non AC bus and they put us on this Bus. I registered the complaint to Redbus.in Immediately after our journey, Complaint Ticket#10627544. As per the Terms and condition No 4 of Redbus ticket, Change of bus: In case the bus operator changes the type of bus due to some reason, redBus will refund the differential amount to the customer upon being intimated by the customers in 24 hours of the journey. AC busfare on this Travel is 1399 and Non AC bus fare is 1200. But the operator only accept to refund Rs 100 per ticket, but the actual refund is Rs.199 per ticket. I am not getting proper reply from redbus.in for the difference amount and they told to contact the bus operator. Bus operator also not responding for this refund. Also I provided rating about this Bus operator through Redbus.in. But this feedback is not displayed online till date. This rating may help others to not get into the same problem again with this bus operator. SVR travels is cheating the customer by providing Non AC Bus for AC booking and not refunding the exact difference amount. Redbus.in allowing and supporting like this operator for the commission and not displaying the passengers feedback on the website for this operators.

                            Seat Issue while booking in redBus portal

                            Hi Team, Pls find the below details as per the ticket and my booking my seat is E1 & E2 but as per Neeta travels list it was F1 & F2 which is last sleeper. I have travelled for 16 hours with my wife and at the last row. This is really unacceptable as redBus is just apologies the issue and no care for customer. Also this happened because i booked my ticket in redbus. Due to some technical issue. I have called to redBus customer...

                            Hi, I want to file a complaint against redbus.in .I booked a ticket online from panaji to bangalore 1 April 2014 6:15 pm svr travels from redbus.in .I went on a vacation at panaji, Goa.On April 1 I was waiting at the panaji bus stop for the bus for more than an hour and there was no sign of bus, finally I asked someone about the bus and they said there was no SVR travel bus from panaji to bangalore, finally I called redbus to confirm and I called like 6-7 times and every time someone picks up tells me to wait for 10 minutes and that they will get back to me but i dint get any response so called again and again . This time i dint hung up the call i asked him to look into the information while i will be on hold. Then he gave me a number of SVR travels I called at that number only to know that there was no bus service from panaji to bangalore from SVR travels.When I called redbus back they told me the bus was cancelled(which I think is a lie as i talked to the svr travel and they clearly mentioned there is no such bus service "available" from panaji to bangalore - not "cancelled" )and then he said i will get a refund, i asked him to provide me some other bus at least so i can go home but he said there was no bus available finally I ran here and there asking for ticket availability and through a agent there i booked a ticket on double the original ticket price (i think it was a black ticket) had no other option so I booked it. I had so much of inconvenience and had to take half days leave from office the next day as I arrived late. I lost my precious time, lost double the money I booked tickets for and lost my half day at work just because there was an error in redbus booking. After all this, still I just asked them to refund double the tickets original price. But they refuse to do it.This is not the way a customer should be treated.Luckily I got another bus that day otherwise I might have lost my job as well. Regards, Shreenu

                              Hi, my name is Ramya, I am travelling in this bus SHAMA SARDAR TRAVELS from vellore, the bus started 1 hour late and did not let me sit on the seat which was alloted through online booking, I was forced to sit behind in the last but one seat.                                 Omar Travel : Banglaore to Hyderabad : Ticket# : TG4Q68296628I I reached 8:30 PM at the boarding point in marathahalli, as I have carton box of clothes thats of a size of an average suitcase. The driver demanded Rs. 500/- for the box as we are only allowed to carry a suitcase or bag. As the size of the box is within the limits, I demanded the reason why I have to pay such a huge amount. While other passengers supported my cause and requested him, he was adamant that I pay for the amount and when I denied, he left me stranded on the road. I had to go through the pain of getting back home with the luggage in an auto. Am deeply disturbed with this incident. I wrote to redBus as their responsibilities include : (3) Providing customer support and information in case of any delays / inconvenienceI kindly request you to take action against this operator and arrange for immediate and complete refund of my ticket !! But redbus responded : As per the discussion with the team, we clarify that they have denied refund claiming that RTO officials had not allowed the customer to carry the luggage and that was the reason the customer was not allowed to the bus with the luggage. I don't know where did the RTO officials come in the story when it was only bus driver who denied me from boarding without paying him Rs. 500.

                                  I had booked two tickets for Journey from Hyderabad to
                                  Bangalore on Sunday March 23, 2014 with Red.bus site for Apple travels sleeper
                                  (1+1) Journey starting at &:30 Pm from Hyderabad.

                                  I
                                  had got a message from Red bus around 4:30 in evening as reminder for your
                                  Journey, later I
                                  had called up Apple bus to check my pickup point & then got to know the bus
                                  is cancelled & its is been informed to Rebus on Saturday
                                  only. Then again i
                                  had called back to red bus to check the status on this & they told the bus
                                  is not cancelled & they see the ticket still being valid...

                                  To confirm i
                                  again had to call Apple
                                  travels & they confirmed that its been already informed to redbus
                                  & they asked to contact redbus.
                                  So again i
                                  had to call back redbus,
                                  they told will have a check & get back to me. Then around 5'o clock got a
                                  message from red bus telling we tried calling you to inform you that your bus
                                  has been cancelled by the operator - which was a false information as i
                                  only had called them & i
                                  did not get any call from redbus.

                                  I got the cancellation information only once I
                                  called redbus
                                  & that too 2.5 hours before the journey. I had been to Hyderabad with my
                                  colleague (lady) on a business
                                  visit & hence had booked separate
                                  (1+1) seat for our travel, which costed (3000 Rs.)

                                  Later when I
                                  called redbus
                                  for alternative arrangement they told only 2 seats available which are double seat & no single
                                  seats were available. They asked me to share the common
                                  berth with my lady colleague which was un-comfortable
                                  for both o[censored]s.

                                  We had booked the bus as per our comfort as we had to reach
                                  Bangalore by 6:00 in morning as we had to make to office by 9AM., our drop
                                  point was scheduled at Silk board, which was 10 mins away from our home. They
                                  gave us option of semi-sleeper, then sleeper which we had to share the seats
                                  with some strangers passenger, for which we were ok, but the drop was at 7 to
                                  Majestic which is 1.5 hours far from our home.

                                  We were talking to our employee Kiran employee ID (1886) who
                                  was just telling us to share the common berth, where we tried made him understand
                                  how un-comfortable for both o[censored]s.
                                  Finally with no alternative available our ticket was booked at 7 in the Night
                                  for 8’0 clock pickup, that too common berth for both o[censored]s & he was asking
                                  to carry the printout of ticket at that moment. Which was really not possible
                                  as we were far from the pickup point & we had to rush up for the bus?

                                  So it was totally a bad experience booking ticket with
                                  redbus & telling will never book tickets with Redbus anymore & also
                                  will advice my friends not to book tickets.

                                  Being informed at last moment & not giving the seats
                                  which we required & asking to share a common berth with a lady think how
                                  disgusting it was?

                                  Want to know if this is the way you provide the customer
                                  service, also now for the remaining amount they had provided me the coupon for
                                  redbus which I don’t require, please refund the remaining amount back to my credit card, as I will never book any
                                  tickets further through redbus.

                                    Hello there, This is Singh. I have booked ticket from Mumbai to Indore dated 18 March 2014 (Boarding at Sion) . The service provider name is BABA Travels and the PNR number is 21XXXXXX8. The bus driver stopped the Bus at Nashik highway and was asked for money from all passenger to fill up the diesel. He was telling that owner is not picking the calls and none of the crew having money. So, you people have to pay for DIESEL or else bus will not move forward. My friend (Lady traveling alone) was waiting on Nashik highway till 9 AM. After requesting many times, conductor is agreed and dropped her to nearest ST bus Depot. After 7 Hrs of waiting on highway she came back to mumbai. From midnight 3 AM to till time i was calling BABA travels and the owner. No one is interested to pickup calls. Even red Bus call service starts from 8 AM. Really pissed of and tensed. Even local police is not reverting back with any help.

                                      I planned to travel on 07/02/2014 from visakhapatnam to hyderabad .Hence we booked 2 tickets in Ap tourism bus(Bhadradi travels) ticket no redBus Ticket - TG[protected] through redbus.When we are boarding the bus they did not allow us to board the bus saying that we are carrying a heavy luggages.we told that it is not possilbe for us to board the bus leaving our luggage.then they left us at vizag only and bust left for hyderabad. Later on we have contacted M/s Redbus team to refund the ticket money, but they are not accepting the same i feel that i am justified in asking ticket money from them Let me know whether can i take a legal action against them Regards
