I am a DAPO customer and had a CDMA reliance number [protected]. Being in the Army I came for a Course to MHOW(Indore MP) in July 2009. I approached the local Reliance Office to change my number to a local one and also convert it to a GSM number as the original mobile set I was using had gone out of order. I was told that there was no procedure of conversion and that I would have to terminate this connection and apply for a new one. I did the same. I deposited Rs. 3000/- as ISD charges and was alloted a new number [protected]. I was told that I would be refunded the charges on my CDMA connection after deducting the bill within 2-3 months. I have waited patiently for 8 months to get refund and now since upon the termination of course I am leaving MHOW I approached the local office again to remind them. But I was given an absolutely careless and negative response. I was told to approach the Indore office but they too greeted me with the same attitude. I would like to mention here that I have interacted with Mr Animesh Bajpai (Retail Manager MHOW Reliance Office), Mr Ambuj Pathak (Finance Manager Indore Reliance Office) and Mr Kumar Skand (Cluster Customer Care Manager Indore Reliance Office). It pains me to be a loyal reliance customer. What is the point in sending SMSs like "Congrats on being part of the million user Reliance network" if you can not keep the customers happy.And that too for a paltry sum of Rs 500/-. I would appreciate if you could look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest as I am leaving Mhow by 31st Mar 2010.

      i ahve purchased a new sim on 26 feb 2010 vide no. [protected]. i got this sim while i have submitted all docuyments to reatiler. but on[protected] they disconnected/ barred my services without any notice / inforamtion / sms. now from 16-03 to till today[protected], i have send several mail & made hundreard of calls but they neither responded properly nor restored my services.


      the whole communiaction is given below:

      dear officer/s of RELIANCE,

      i m still afraid from reliance and its thinking (BADA hai to BETTER hain)idea

      even after 7 days or 170 hrs your whole system is not able to findout my documents. even though your giant system is not able to find the responsible person.

      i think you should all must think once again that what would you feel when u will suffer from such a horrible condition.

      i know you all are just nothing but a big zero. who just want more custonmers but no value for customers and their problems

      its the height of your responsibility and manners that till the moment none of you give me your conatct number?

      why ?

      whether you afraid from a single customer.

      i m sure you all are.

      first i go to a outlet by name

      this outlet denied to help and also refused to listeen my point. he just give a statement, who bloody hell is told you to get a connection from retailer. ab liya hain to bhugato, we are ahere to serve you. u should go to retailer only to submit your documents. so i made a remark of same in their complaint book place on the entry/exit gate.(you can verify the same , ther were previous entry of fated 13-03-10 of someone else.)

      then i came to R.S. Communiaction XV-7340, gali no.1, aram nagar, pahar ganj, nd-55, (OWNER -Rehamt)
      there i meet with retailer and marketing boy (at 1.50pm/[protected]. they promised that they will send my form/ documents today positively. but till the moment( 10 pm/ 19-3-10) services are not restored. they told that it is not possible to send two or four forms to company.
      however i am feeling very bad and disgusting that why i purchased such a sim and over that i trust over services and joined that number with my d-mt account. however such a big loss due to your servises can fulfill?

      i m sure u will say that u will look into the matter. all the proofs and matter is at your end.

      one most imporatant thing i would like to ask : EACH TIME I HAVE ASKED TO SUBMIT THE DOCUMENTS TO NEAREST OUTLET BY YOUR CUSTOMER EXECUTIVE. IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET A SOIM WITHOUT GIVNG ID-PROOFS and ALL?
      IF YES. WHO IS ON FAULT, IF NO WHERE ARE MY DOCUMENTS/ BECOZ WHEN I SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS, I HAVE SUBMITTED THEM TO RELIANCE'S REPRESENTIVE. IT IS YOUR MORAL DUTY THAT U SHPOULD CHECK ABOUT IT.

      i have purchsed a new sim before 2 weeks from new delhi, after depositing all necessary and legal documents, full signed and after that i enjoyed the services without interruption for 10 days. but from 20.00 hrs[protected] my sim services got barred without any information or sms or any notice. when i contacted to retailer he told same will be restored within 24 hours i .e. upto 20.00 hrs of 17-03-10, but till the moment ( 13.00 hrs,[protected], no servbices restored.

      this incident creates a very bad impresion in my social network. hence i would like 2 say

      1. immediate restoration of my services on my cell [protected].
      2. letter of apology for the same from your side.

      however for technical aspects 12 hours are being given to restoration for the same services ...

      later the case will be forwared to DOT and TRAI and cosumer services section, GOI.

      an early action is anticipated.

      Reliance GSM — services barred

      sir i ve puchased a reliance GSM sim card on 18th Dec 09.
      i ve submitted all the required documents bt my services has been barred on 23 dec 09 eve by sending a message that documents not recieved.till now i ve submitted my documents three times to my dealer as there is no reliance web world in jaisalmer (raj.) bt my services are still barred and no reply from reliance customer care. i had also recharged my sim with india calling card of rs 650/- which is goin in vain with out use.There is no service fcility to ensure d gud service .i[censored] can help me with this inconvenience.

      i had dis no. frm ghaziabad...i m frm poor family, it's my bad luck...
      on 19-02-11 in evening, i need urgent recharge so i called my fri. who is frm delhi & i said him 4 recharge 2 my no., he bought 3 recharge coupon of 30-30-30rs & he gave me scratch no. of dat cards by msg, i dialled *368 n recharge all 3 card 1 by 1...n i listened recharge successful 4 all 3 cards, after dat i checked my balance but i saw there is no balance in my account, after dat i called 2 customer care n talked 2 mr. ravindra who is senior executive, but he said these all recharge has been done on any other no., i amazed 2 listen dat bcoz i listened recharge successful on all 3 cards on my no., i talked 2 retailer but he said i m nt able 2 help u n talk 2 c.care, now i m not Prime Minister who will fight from all...but i m poor n can do anything 2 get thes all recharge ammount, i complained against all o[censored]r departement 2 ur seniors but no action had been taken by ur seniors, bcoz of dat, i came in more depression..
      ur all senior executives is telling lie till now...they r not able 2 tell me truth or solution of this problem ...
      here, retailor's shop is 2 far but still i went here but he didn't give any response & said talk 2 customercare, now i m going in big problem...
      it's my last request 2 u otherwise i've 2 take a big action, jahan tak main ja sakta hu, it's my promise 2 u.
      so kindly pl. give me my ammount as soon as possible pl. it's my personal request 2 u...

        Dear Sir,
        I want to complain about Reliance Industries, I had problem with Reliance energy and Reliance Broadband

        First Let me talk about Reliance Enery, We have a office in Mumbai where reliance energy is the provider for
        Electricity, Our Owner has cheated us and gave a meter for Home use and finally after a year some reliance people came to our office and they charge us for using home meter for commercial purpose, They charge us around 1.75 Lakh, when when I tried to get details about this bills or how they have charge us nobody has the clue, Customer care dont know anything about this they are just asking us to pay the bill, I dont know why we dont have the right to get the details about our bills


        Second is our internet broadband , we have one of my office in Mumbai where we tried to have a internet, we paid them installation money of around Rs 10,000 but due to some problem the connection was not given to us
        Now from last one year we are trying to get our money back , its not about money but the way this people are doing business really hurts me

        We also have office in Pune where we are using reliance broadband, Since we have a broadband for business I thought they will help us and they guaranty that whenever there is problem they will sort it out in 24 hrs but they take arounf 5 days to solve the problem when I ask for waiver they said we cannot give you , but when there is delay in bill payment for 2 days they will charge you for that

        I think this company is really curse on India and they just want to make money and all indian are helpless and they have to do the business under them as they control everything and we are dependent on them

          Dear all,
          i have taken a reliance card a week ago number is - [protected] all was going vey well for the first few days but suddenly a message came telling me that i have not submited my papers properly and so i had to submit it again i had no choice but to submit it again so i submitted it again on thursday18/03/2010 still the card was not active so on saturday again i had to submit the papers again ther i was told that they will send it as soon as possible ans start the sim card but still it did not starrt on monday also so i ahd to call the reliance customer care again and again from thursday itself but still to no avail on monday had a talk with some mr chandrakant of relianceand he told me that the card is activated within 24 hrs of the submission of the papers but as of now on tuesday 23/03/2010 still the card is not functional so i again called reliance care and had a talk with some MR Arjun first of all he was very rude and did not know how to talk with a customer and he was saying just one thing that they have still not received my papers and they cant do anything for it i hope the higher authority of reliance read this and pls take the required action and help me out with this.

            helloo,

            im a customer of reliance cdma from a long time.. recently im facing some problems regarding deduction of my account balance, suddenly a messgae comes from reliance and it states your account balance is very low recharge immediately.. when i see before, my account balance is more. i dont understand why it happens every time. this is third time i lost my balance. this is radiculous and worrest service from them. but, they proudly says no.1 network in india.. no.1 networks doesnt do like this..

              I have reliance prepaid connection. When 3 times i made a call, then after call my account has been deducted by RS 120, 50,10 respectively. But account would have been deducted by RS 1. so when i contacted on customer care, no response from there because there is always waiting for 5 to 6 minutes. so please give me advise how can i get back my money.                 I had applied for reliance broadband connection about two months ago, and pay rs500 for the same. But the connection was not provided due to unavailability of free port near this area. so we request the agent to refund that money but no action has taken till now.please help me to get that money.

                Reliance Broadband Connection — Connection not installed, money taken

                Respected Sir/Madam,
                This is to inform you that I've been cheated by Reliance Broadband services, Bangalore.
                I applied for a broadband connection on[protected] by giving all the required documents, along with cheque of Rs.1049/- to a Reliance Sales person (named Manoj - [protected]), and was told by him that the connection will be installed to my premise with 48hours.
                I got an order acceptance email from Reliance on[protected] with following details, and the cheque was encashed as well-

                As I do understand that technically it takes a maximum of 7 days to install the connection, I waited for another 4-5days, and since then, I've been calling Customer Care for help, but no positive response. I'm being told everyday that someone from sales team will call me and get the connection installed, but till date, nobody has either called me, nor the connection is installed.

                I took this connection because of my work emergency, but due to sheer ignorance of the vendor towards the customer, I had to bear heavy loss of time and money. I'm very very upset with this treatment from Reliance Broadband Services, and I'm writing this mail to you with my acute disappointment, and expect compensation for my loss from the vendor.

                I'm feeling helpless now, need your urgent help on this matter.

                    This is to inform you that the caller tune of my mobile activated without my permision when i called to customer care they told to sent msg for deactivation. The question is why I have to send sms when i am not activate the service and it is charged from my a/c who is going to take the responsibility for this. And if i not send the sms the it is activated for unknown period. Why this happen.

                      Dear Sir,
                      We have the reliance mobile connection of reliance for last 4 years and the no is [protected]. Earlier it was post paid then we converted it to pre paid. For last 1 year we are facing problem that the company is deducting money for activating different schemes without our conents. We have launched the complaints for so many times and every time they have informed us that in next 48 hrs you will get your money back. Some of the complaints nos are[protected], [protected],[protected].

                      We are suffering this problem for last one year approx and lost almost Rs.1000/- and faced alot of mental torture. Every time going to Reliance communication and complaints and there is no solution. Again talk to customercare but no further solution.

                      I request you to kindly take actions agianst this and help me to get reimburse the money and peace i have lost.

                        Hi ,
                        I was using reliance internet connection in 2009 and they sent me a bill with an exorbitant (Aug -09) after which I declined to pay and stopped using the connection. Then this was settled through Lok Adalat Bangalore(PLC NO : 542154) on 18.01.2010 and I have made a made a payment of Rs2300.00 on 18.01.2010. I have the proof of the these. After this they collected the equipments from my home( on 26.01.2010) and confirmed that the connection is completely disconnected. I have proofs for this both as a mail(see attached) and a hard copy. However they have not returned the deposit amount till date.

                        All this was fine until today when they have sent another summon from Lok adalat (PLCNO: 542154 , Bangalore ) again for another amount of Rs 1216.00 for the same thing, with the A/C no( Please note I don't have any other services from reliance). I mean once this is settled through Lok adalat this should be final for both the parties. And on top the connection was closed, this is confirmed from their end and hence there is no outstanding bill.
                        The company is simply trying to mint money by harassing customers. Please look into this matter and help me to get back the deposit amount which they have not refunded still.

                            Sir,

                            Sub: Waiver of the bill for the postpaid Netconnect connection.

                            This is to inform you that I had taken a postpaid internet connect connection from one of your reliance communication outlet at Jainagar, 5th Block, Bangalore.
                            Ever since the service got activated, the modem was not working properly i.e. it was getting disconnected on its own after 5-10 minutes.
                            After encountering the problem I had called your customer care department conveying the problem which I was facing.
                            After making the preliminary enquiry about the operating system which I am using and other configurations, it was conveyed to me that there was some problem in back-end server and it will be rectified within seven days.
                            Even at that time I had told to the customer care executive that it seems to be a problem in the modem device, but he asserted that this problem is from the server side which will be rectified within a week’s time.
                            When the problem was not rectified even after the week I had complained about the problem to the reliance communication outlet.
                            After making a follow-up for 6-7 times finally the engineer visited my home and checked the device.
                            He confirmed my apprehension that there was some inherent problem in the device because of which it used to get disconnected soon. Then he gave me the address of the customer care of the ZTE where I had deposited my device which was finally replaced by a new one and given to me back on 02.02.2009.
                            By that time the services were disconnected .
                            When I went to reactivate the service at your outlet I was told that I had to pay the whole bill and waiver if any can be given only for the time the ZTE service center took to replace the modem.

                            It may be noted that I had subscribed for 1 GB pack with a rental of Rs.650/- and my actual usage because of the inherent defect of the modem was only 25 MB.
                            Had the modem been working properly and I wouldn’t have used even a single MB of my I GB pack, I would have been liable to pay the whole amount.
                            But under the circumstances where the defective modem was purchased from reliance outlet and because of the inherent defect in it I could not use more than 25 MB, I cannot pay for more than what I have actually used..

                            You can have your own enquiry into the matter as to what was the defect in the modem, which engineer visited and also you can trace from your data card customer care department as to when was the first time I had made a complaint regarding the problem over telephone.

                            A faulty supply of the modem device and late redressal of grievance from your side will not make me liable to pay for the services which I have never used. And if that is insisted upon, then it will be against all the principles of natural justice.
                            Therefore I request you to kindly restore the services and give the waiver of the rental till the date of restoration.

                            reliance data card broadband + modem device — regarding data card

                            Sir,
                            last monday on dated[protected] i purchased a reliance data card modem of rupees 1299/- and which will said it will automatically activated. i have contacted many times reliance but there is no responisible action taken by them and the modem is still not activated. I already submitted my required document to reliance for activation. i kindly request you to look into this matter and terminate the service so that i will get my refund.

                            Hi Gunjan, Did you get your issue resolved or did reliance rob you as well. They did a similar thing to me with a faulty datacard and when i disconnected and refused to pay the last bill if they would not change the datacard dongle...they gave out my mobile number to every possible goon to threaten me. My mistake was to make a choice of Reliance over other datacard. We had 2 datacards in the house, after all the harrasements we stopped using both the datacards and got a Tata photon instead...i think all should do the same.

                              I am one of the Reliance Broadband Customer using a Tariff Plan of Rs.650 / month with unlimited usage and 75 free local calls.

                              We were at Shenoy Nagar, Chennai a week before where the connection was made by febraury last week.
                              Now we shifted our home to SriNagar Colony, Saidapet, Chennai.

                              It was Mr.Malairaj, an agent, through him we filled the form to get the connection. He promised me to provide free connection after shifting home without
                              any shifting charges.

                              It has been about 10 days since we shifted to new home and yet the broadband connection was not established there.

                              We called the agenst, Mr. Malairaj and Mr. Sathish many times a day but no proper response from their side.
                              We also provided them nearby street reliance broadband customer no for their reference.

                              We just used only 1 week since the connection was made at old home. I am completely disappointed by the worst service Reliance is providing me
                              for reestablishing the connection during home shift.

                              We have registered so many complaints thru Reliance Toll free no ( Complaint No[protected] and they told they would forward this to the corresponding team and do the necessary. But nothing happened.

                              We cannot pay Rs.650 for a period of just 1 week. Hope you can understand and do the necessary action immediately.
                              I have no intention to complaint on any person particulary ..All I need is to activate broadband service at new home.

                              If any problem would still make us wait, I request you to please disconnect the broadband service asap.

                              If connection is not made within 24 hrs, I will contact any other agent or any other broadband service for better usage and would forward this mail to

                                  Hi,
                                  I bought a reliance broadband plus card in 3600/- in dec 2010 in Bangalore with 10 GB free usage.

                                  As this was a PREPAID card, I wanted to use with my freedom as it's pay and use.

                                  After 1 month when I rechaged Rs. 500/-. and tried connecting internet it did not allowed me. When i called up customer care thay said there is high (-)ve balance pending in your account and asked me visit R web world.

                                  I went R web world, they failed to get details about my account balance. Still I can't use my card due to lack of information. And they are asking me to visit reliance nodal office.

                                  I am surprised that in prepaid card whats is meaning of pending balance. That also in thousands.

                                  Nobody informed me about this drawback. And now i can't even recharge and use my device. I had spent 3600(device) + 500(recharge) which completely lost.

                                  please help me to waive off the pending balance in my prepaid device.

                                  and i will start using this again with carefully keeping this drawback in mind.

                                  This is just a discussion forum. Nobody from Reliance is going to contact you on this. You need to physically walk up to their office.
                                  Dont forget- RELIANCE SELLS OFF THEIR MODEMS AND PROVIDE PAIN ON THE NAME OF SERVICE.
                                  Hi, I have also faced same Issue, I dialed Customer care, then went to Reliance web word, then I visited Nodal Office, they said to contact Regional office. and No help, then Customer care forwarded my concern to Head office Mumbai. I visited Reliance Knowledge Park also met with Anil Ambani. Then He explained:

                                  There are two things In Prepaid broad Band: A Base prepaid Balance and B Plan.
                                  A is your base balance or Rupees
                                  B is Your Plan Monthly 30 Days
                                  To go for any Monthly 30 Days plan like 500 MB (Rs500), 1GB(Rs735), 3 GB (Rs 950) there should be some amount in your Prepaid base balance A.
                                  Now if you recharge for let's say 1000/- First 950 will go to 30 days plan B and rest 50/- will go to Base Prepaid balance A. Now if you have spent all your 3GB, and you have no balance left in Plan B, it will get deducted from Base Balance A at the rate of 1 Rs per MB, and after 50 MB your base balance will go in Negative.
                                  Now your internet will not work and if you recharge only Plan B, i.e. 500 MB (Rs500), 1GB(Rs735), 3 GB (Rs 950) any one with exact amount, you also have to put some amount in Base prepaid balance A. else it will not work.
                                  If you are unable to understand above. Please go directly to Knowledge Park Mumbai and meet Mr Ambani, But first fix an appointment.

                                    I had applied 45 Equity Shares of Reliance Power Limited vide application No.[protected]cheque No. 892100 drawn on Oriental Bank of Commerce, Basant Lok, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi for Rs. 20,250/-.) When the registrar had banked this cheque they have mentioned Rs. 2050/- instead of Rs. 20,250/- and the cheque had got bounced and the bank debit my account for Rs. 34/-). I had not allotted shares and got refund only of Rs. 2,050/-. Please give my balance amount of Rs. 18,200/- along with interest at the earliest.

                                      Reliance Smart GSM — Charges more than told

                                      I am complainting on behalf of my brother Mob No. [protected] that on a day of 8th Apr 08 I call the No. [protected] and as per company rule that STD calls rate is Rs 1.99 per pulse. and at the time I use only 35 sec and smart charge Rs. 2.99 whether is machine mistake or it is company funda to make fool the customer.

But after three days my Outgoing is barred still now ! Please look into the matter !                                         Hello sir , i am the user of the rel gsm.i live in the main city (alwar)rajasthan.but sir there is not the full coverge of tower it only show 1 line of tower and sometime it shows the msg "emergency only" for recieving calls we run to the open area . so sir pls give the best soloution.if sir in the main city its perfomence is so worst than what's in rural area.

                                        Hello sir, i m user of rel gsm and having 2 sim of rel gsm but problem is that there is very slow coverage area meant shows on line when calling any gsm in kanpur area then that one will is gone during calling and call is disconnected and after that no connection is to make other rel gsm .So sir please give the best solution regarding this.If rel gsm has this type of worst performance then what happened in rural areas in kanpur city
