Company cheated me while selling me new 3G SIM. dealer told me that i will get 1 GB per month for next 6 recharges. but i did not get any additional data. company sell me Rs. 250 Sim in Rs. 400. No. 1 Cheater company. After 9 days no one from company contact me to resolve the issue.

    My Internet service is not working from 3 month, Therefore discard my all bill of 3 month...I am already paid you 619 rs in advance and no body working over it.     One from the customer care called me and told me pay 834 Rs more to renew service...Since As the connection was not working and they did not wave off my amount the month in last 2 month. So they suspended my account.

    I have already paid my amount 619 Rs in advance and due to the bad service provided by the reliance and no body come and resolved the issue on time.and now this is misbehave that I Pay 834 Rs first after that they will think to resolve my issue. What a shameless and poor service by the reliance,

    Most of the customers are suffering because of hopeless service provided &amp; poor customer care service offered by Reliance Communications Ltd.

      I have really been tortured by your brand over this issue. On 12th july 2014 I lost HSD network and had 4 bars of 1X network. After four days I lost all the network and my billing cycle started on 18th July. I waited for few days to call as it is usual case with reliance and most of the times I get to use internet for only 20 days in a month due to poor service. Somewhere around 22nd July I called for issue but nothing happened and on 27th when I called again, I found out that no complaint was taken and even your executives claimed that I never called before. On 27th I registered complaint for network problem with complaint number:[protected]. On 30th july somebody called me just to say that there is some upgradation in progress in my area but he was unable to give me any details from when I willl start getting network. On 5th August I called them for update but your officer kept saying that there is no new update. Then again on 7th August I called and requested to speak with senior executive, I asked him why I should I pay bill if I hardly got network and speed was never above 100Kbps(12Kbps)? He kept on repeating same things which wasn't relevant. I told him that I had sent complaint on email but never got any serious reply as your email exucutives only reply with a template and ask to call the call center.(I wonder why they are getting paid for the job if they are going ask customers to call the customer care number but that isn't my issue.) I asked the senior executive from escalation department to read those emails and call me back but he said he can't call me back. Then I asked him to reply me via email but he said same and finally I requested him to arrange a callback from any senior or manager as these are serious issues for many customers, but he said his senior never takes call and he can't arrange call from any manager. So finally, I requested him to terminate my service as my previous bills were paid but he refused to take my request twice. You can listen to the recordings to confirm it. On 11th August(30days), I called again and spoke with senior executive, repeated same and finally requested for service termination but again he refused at first and second time said that executives are busy to take my request. Can't a senior executive take termination request? Then he gave me new contact number pankaj sootha[protected]. When I called on this number, which was supposed to be some senior person who can at least answer my questions and show some ethics but this guy only kept saying please wait for some time. He never answered when I will get network and why should I pay if you guys have failed to provide service. When I asked him to provide his email id where I can contact him he gave me email id of Appallate Authority promising a serious response which never happened. Also this guy promised me to callback in couple of days but never sounded that serious. Yesterday, finally a female executive called me but never answered my questions. It has been 17 days for my complaint and 32 days without network but nobody could answer when I will get network. So finally she took my request for termination but when I found out that she didn't call me from Appallate Authority I asked her to cancel the request but she disconnected the call and took the request. Same day in afternoon, I got call from appallate authority(Which was supposed to be a call with common sense) but the guy said he is very sorry for inconvenience and here is what he said. "I will request for waiver for you but these guys will ask for some prepayment and I don't want to keep you in the dark." He was talking like he is not your employee. I asked him why should I pay for no service of 30 days? He said I still will have to pay. And sent me confirmation email for termination request and wrote that I will have to pay monthly rental as long as my data card is not terminated. Reliance is big brand, first of all you guys fail to provide me service for 33 days. Your executives from junior customer care to senior from appalate authority can't answer when I will get network. Your senior executives refuse my termination requests on 7th August and 11th August 4 times. Is it even ethical to ask for payment when you haven't even provided 5% of promised service? And Why your senior executive denied my termination request more than once? Why not even a single person was able to answer my questions? And why am I being asked for payment when I am not even able to use it properly?

      No such efforts have been made from reliance so far. Plus I got call for my termination request, and I was given the waiver of only 400 Rs. which is only 40% waiver. And data I used for the month was 1.3Gb at speed as low as 12Kbps. So you provide me poor service and you charged me 60% bill for the 26% of service. I am paying 200 Rs or nothing. And stop lying in public site at least people are reading it.
      Today I received a call from reliance based on above comment. I don't understand why is it so hard for reliance to understand that
      1) I was unable to use my data card because you failed to provide service. Obviously I will use network whenever I am not in hurry. But when I had to do any serious usage I was using my mobile on which I already used recharges of Rs. 600.
      2) It took me 20 days just to speak to someone senior. Why such big brand keep hiding their seniors? Well now you already know that I used 1.3Gb of data from my 5Gb unlimited plan. And you guys are network providers, isn't it your duty to provide network on all days of month? That is what we pay you for. If we really want to just use data based on usage we can simply use mobiles. But from call center executive to senior in appallate authority, not even a single person have this common sense to understand me.
      3) Well so first you fail to provide network. Then charge me for lowest possible speed of 8-12Kbps. And after that you ask me to pay more than the usage. In reality, you don't even deserve a rupee. Why should I pay you extra money? because you failed to provide network? Ask for charity or start a gang instead of cheating customers like this.

      It is really shameful to ask for bills when you fail to provide service. It is unbelievable that not even a single person was able to say "Yes sir, we got your point and it must have been really uncomfortable for you as you are unable to use internet.". But instead your seniors from Appallate Authority talks like robots as if they can't even understand. After failing for providing service, you are asking me for bills, I dont even have word for you now. When I had some problem with my Airtel DTH, a senior personally called me every other day. And took special care of the situation and I will use Airtel DTH for many coming years.

      But reliance, you guys are like leeches who will even suck blood out of dead bodies. It is quite the common business sense. If you provide customer proper service and let go bills after failing to provide it. Then customer will use your service for many coming years and will even recommend it to others. Instead, you can't even let go this bill. You are irritating a 32 month old customer who paid all the bills in time, I wonder what you must be doing to your customers. Mr. Pankaj Sootha can you explain me why am I being treated like this?

      I will only pay Rupees 150 for this worst service and customer care or nothing. Just have some ethics and self respect for your brand.

      The above comment was mad before my problem was solved. No surprise Reliance is expert in lying publicly too.

      Well as per the attached image I received call from Appalate Authority and as I immediately can't switch to other service I am stuck with this lame service for couple of months. Following are the reasons why you should not buy reliance netconnect

      1) Out of 30 days of service you will lose 10 days of service almost every month. But they charge you based on Data Usage. So if you use 3Gb of data in first 10 days or even in first 1 day and don't have network for rest of the month still they will charge you for the full bill amount.

      2) You are only eligible for waiver if you use less than 50% of data.

      3) The waiver they give you is always lesser than you deserve and after hundreds of calls they will give you waiver based on the usage. In my case, I had used 26%(Rs. 219) of service and bill amount I was asked to pay after many calls was 40%(Rs. 337) and finally they agreed on 222Rs. Which is still unfair as I was troubled and had to look for other options for internet.

      4) Reliance have no responsibility for any kind of poor service, no matter how many days you have to wait for network. In my case, I had no/very poor network for 45 days but senior from appalate authority never answered my question "Isn't it your responsibility to provide continued service?".

      5) Customer care

      a) Email Executives: They reply with the template no matter what your email is. They will call you back very rarely, in my case I received only 1 one call to my 20 emails.

      b) Call Center Executive: This guys are like robots and they are asked to repeat same things whatever you say. They cannot callback or can't email you or reply to any of your emails. Seniors are same in this department. Even seniors can't arrange a callback or forward your request to any senior who can callback.

      c) Online Chat: First of all their chat system do not have any alert for the message so you must stare at the screen for the reply or it is of no use. Like call center executives these guys work same.

      d) Appalate Authority: So called seniors to handle cases which are not handled by call center properly have no common sense either. And except their Salary and Department name I hardly see any difference in them and Call center executives. All they talked to me was "Sir you have used the data so you must pay." "Sir we have given you waiver already we can't change that.". Well if you can't change that how I got more waiver of 115Rs?

      e) System: They have "System" they keep talking about. "Sir hamare system me yahi dikha raha hai.", "Sir hamare system me abhi tak update nahi hai.". If your system doesn't show any new update for 15 days, are your guys really working? Is anybody updating your "System" or not?

      6) You can not rely on customer care for the solution. From 30th july to 23rd August they kept saying that some upgradation is in the process in my area and they have no updates when I will get network.

      7) If you ever call customer care for network problem, they will ask you to restart system, reinstall software. Then they will tell you that your PC has some problem or your modem must be damaged. If both are fine then they will take complaint and Technical Department will call you. You will repeat same things and nothing will happen. And if you ask this person from Technical Department whether your area has some network issue they will ask you to call customer care again, just to find out that your area don't have network. Takes 3-4 days for what you could know within 3-4 minutes.

      8) After 45days I finally got network. But this morning again I had Zero network and when I got the network again I decided to write this post but before I can finish it I have lost the network AGAIN. But next month they will ask me for full amount of the bill. Still thinking to go for reliance? I will recommend living in the cave instead.

      9) There is another thing I have noticed about network speed. Reliance promise speed upto 3.1Mbps but for last 4-5 months I have noted that speed never crossed 1Mbps even when I had full network. Publicly lying again? Shame on you reliance.

      10) The last point is miscommunication, you can never rely on what executive said to you even if he is from appalate authority. I had gotten offer from Retention Department of 10Gb plan but after couple of days I changed my mind and when I spoke with this Appalate Authority Senior he said that my plan won't change don't worry. But now plan has been changed and I will have to wait for next month to get my old plan back.

      @Customers Use mobiles even if 2G, at least you will have consistent speed. These reasons are enough for anybody not to buy Reliance Netconnect, because even if you get good network when time will come these guys will cheat you for the money and will never try to understand, because their "System" have no such information.@Reliance I will keep this complaint open and hope you lose as many customers as possible. Just when you want your brand to have some standards and ethics read this post, you guys have zero standards and ethics.

      One small point I forgot to mention and here is 11th point.

      When I was new customer, I called customer care and my problem was solved quickly(they were a lot better in the past maybe). I got a text for feedback if executive was able to help me. I replied yes and I got reply that no keyword found. I tried again and again and same reply. Few months ago I asked why it happens and executive told me that it is only for reliance customer.

      Couple of days ago I got text if I was happy with the way my problem was resolved and I replied no. And after so many months they have not updated this system and still sends messages to non-reliance customers(Mobile operator). It shows their half baked "SYSTEM" and standards.

        I purchased a prepaid sim card (mobile no. [protected]) on 07.08.2014. It has been a week since I have been putting up complaints after complaints on Reliance Customer Care and Reliance Appellate Authority. However, data services have not yet been activated.

        The funny thing is that every customer care executive tells me it is going to take 24 hours. However, I have lost count on how many such 24 hours have actually passed. It is really surprising why such a trivial task takes so long. I am frustrated with the kind of services provided by Reliance Communications, esp. coming from a class provider, Airtel.

        Resolve the issue today if you don't want to lose another customer. And Reliance, please don't give me junk like we have noted your request and very soon one of our executives will contact you because I don't want anyone to call me but just activate my data services.

        Then, he promised to activate the same in "72 hours". So, 7 days + 3 days (72 hrs) = 10 days. Reliance Communication is the sole company that can boast of activating data service in 10 days.


        What a shame.

        With grave grief and shame, I have to inform that the customer care and technical support team of Reliance Communications have been victimizing me by providing false information on a regular basis.

        I had purchased a sim card bearing mobile no. "[protected]" on 7th August, 2014 for use with my old huawei E1731 datacard / dongle. However, the same has not been possible as data services were not activated on my sim card. It has been 7 days now and I have been lodging a complaint every day wherein I am promised that the issue will be resolved within 24 hours. However, before the expiry of the 24 hours everyday, the complaint is showed as resolved whereas, the problem is still pending.

        I am fed up of the services provided by you. I have also talked to someone called Daksh, Appellate Authority team on 13.08.2014 at 17:18 hours and on 14.08.2014 at 17:52 hours. He promised to escalate the issue both the days and assured resolution within 24 hours, but the same hasn't been resolved yet.

        Either resolve the issue within today or refund the amount I paid towards purchase of the sim and its recharge.

My all the documents had already submitted while purchasing SIM card and then My SIM was activated. Now after 6 months it is informed that my documents are not upto mark it’s not justified. I have also taken STD plan which will expired on 17 August and now you have deactivated my SIM which makes 4 days STD lose due to misplace of documents at your end. I am attaching previous e-mail wherein Reliance Appellate Authority itself confirmed that my all the documents have checked and verified so there is no question arise about submitting Proof of Address again to resume my SIM services.             Can any sane / responsible person at the Company explain why a notice for Rs 565 has been sent? I have paid the outstanding balance Rs 1150 as on 04 07 2014 & asked for closure / surrender of the instrument. However the executive at Brigade Road, Reliance World advised me to convert the same to Prepaid so the connection can be used when ever required by charging. Can any sane person explain why I should not file a Consumer case in a court of law for Defamation / Compensation ?
            There has been no reminders & one bill has come as usual. Due date is 19th of every month & I had intended to clarify before the due date. Now that you have threatened to file a case if not paid with in 7 days of your notice. I request you on this 13th Aug 2014 itself to file a suit for recovery of the balance & not wait for 7 days.

              As per Reliance website, There is Data Plan for Unlimited WhatsApp at just Rs.16 per month!!, His content is that, "Now with Reliance Mobile's new offer you can stay connected at just Rs 16 per month. Send unlimited messages, pictures & videos to your friends and family across the globe via WhatsApp." but when i recharge for my mobile then i realized my money deduct for each picture and video. when i make inquiry about same in customer care at that time, they told me picture and video are chargeable base, Only Text are unlimited free.

                What the hell is wrong with Reliance? My outgoing call service has been barred without providing any reason. At first the customer care said that there is some technical issue so they took my complaint. But now they are saying that I need to resubmit my documents. I had migrated from postpaid to prepaid exactly a month back and submitted my documents at reliance store. But now the customer care representative says that my document is not proper. How did I use the service for a whole month then?? They didn't inform me even once before barring my services. How ethical is this?? I must take help of consumer court now! My no is [protected]

                This issue got resolved one week after posting this complaint. The customer service authority called me at midnight as an emergency service and kept on calling me again and again for about 1 hour. But the very next morning, my services were resumed. Thanks to this useful website!

                  Reliance Terminated my prepaid number [protected] without any notice, this is really frustrating as I am customer for them from last 10 years with same number and they terminated it saying that non-usage in last two months. How to get my number back?

                  I tried that so many times but they are saying once account is terminated they cant do anything and I am stuck here. Please note that this is important number for and reliance can not terminate like this after using around 7-8 years.
                  Please take appropriate step towards solving this issue rather than giving generic reply.

                    Dear Concern, This is bring to your kind notice that, I have been getting continuous harass from Reliance Communication for incorrect charges. I am Paras kuradia, I m using your reliance GSM network & my mobile number is [protected] ( Rajasthan ). I tried so many times to contact on 198 customer care number but always my call automatically got disconnected from your system. Today I was using my Internet Data plan in my Computer using my Data card. I have downloaded approximate 10-20 MB file & disconnected. Instead of deducting my 20 MB data from my account your system deducted my all Data's, which is approximately 195 MB & also deducted my balance approximately Rs.124. And for this issue while I tried to contact you on 198 my call not connected to customer care service & directly disconnected by system. I also called from other reliance number to register my complaint but your adviser to provide satisfied answer. (As your advisor reply due to using data card your 195 MB data's lapsed directly & your main balance deducted for using internet.) I have uses so many times my data card to connect my computer to internet but never happens this issue. So Many times before I also had faced the same issue.                     Thanks for the calling. But As I told you on call, I am not convenes at all with the telephonic conversation. Your adviser given a very bad & fake reason behind deduction of my Data's & Balance from my account.

                    (As your adviser given me reason behind deduction is - some times system lapsed data when we use data card & some time not... This is not the right answer & I m not satisfied with this answer. Because system or computer never behave like human being, it always work same. If system manufacture as any user use data card using sim card network will collapsed all data's, it will do it same always. Either any customers use 1st time or so many time. Not some times it deduct data and some time not.
                    System / program / computer always behave as same as it instruct.

                    So I am really very sad of this silly kind of reply by your adviser.

                    & Also have not resolve my other problem, which is not able to contact to customer care number - 198 .

                    As I told you I have send a mail also to your concern team but haven't received any reply from them.

                    I want my lapsed data back & also my money which is approximate Rs.125, if not than I want all your reply on written or on mail.

                    I will go to consumer court & fill a case against you.

                      Hi, Net connect Data card number.[protected]. Due to excess slowness in the service, which is a usual thing in Reliance I decided to terminate the service and go for Airtel 4G. I had paid all the outstanding amount before deactivation of service and got the termination request ID as [protected] from R world outlet. I paid in the month of May '14. In spite of it, the bills are getting generated every month and today I got something called final reminder to pay the outstanding bill for the data card, which got deactivated 3 months ago. When I went to R World, where I provided request to deactivate, they are saying, its already deactivated and nothing to worry. I communicated to customer care aliases. But its the worst in the country. No one replies either on toll free number or over the email. Hell with it. Spread to as many people as possible not to get into this fraudulent company service.

                        I have been using Reliance Prepaid Communication Service from 1 year now.I have Complaint regarding my balance deduction 30-40 times(VAS service) and they rarely return the amount and i have never used any such service.Even i didnt pick companies phone so that they might not deduct any balance.Now the situation is even worse than before since 3 months back i have a daily VAS deduction from my account balance of Rs1 or Rs3 and when called the operator to refund it they are unavailable and between these 3 months i tried about 80 times but it seems like they have stop responding any problems to customer as the company policy state that only 3 days deduction can be refunded.I am going to use MNP but before that i want my money which was previously deducted.

                          Dear Sir, I am biswajit, my reliance no is [protected]. I am using this no from last 6-8 years without facing to much problem. But on 2013 I migrate from prepaid to postpaid. The guy from reliance came to my office and collect the required documents for postpaid connection and he just sign me the documents and tell me he can fill the form by his own. In my bill I found the billing address is wrong, but never face any problem. In 2014 June I again migrated from postpaid to prepaid, after facing a lots of problem they start my no and its working fine. But on 07.08.2014 they terminate my no without informing me, when I called their customer care they told me to submit the address and identity proof documents again. When I visited their Reliance world, park street branch, Kolkata, they told me the address showing in their server was not matching with my submitted documents. The address showing in their server is my current office address, but in my any earlier submitted documents the address is same, then how the address showing in their server is my current office address. Now they tell me to submit the address proof according to their server. But how can I submit the address proof in this address as I am a only employee their, in my all documents the address given my actual home address. They also told me if I unable to submit the documents as what is showing in their server they will stop my service permanently. I never use any alternative no before. I am a sale engineer man, so my job is suffering a lot and if they terminate my no permanently it will very harmful to me. Please do the needful at the earliest. I am suffering a lot I need this no and I need my no is in working condition ASAP. Thanks & Regards, Biswajit Dey

                            I am Reliance GSM Mobile Customer. In my coverage area, Reliance GSM Signal was shutdown at 24-June-2014. I was gave complaint to C.Care about Signal Coverage.                               Reliance is the worst service providing company I had ever saw..

                              plzzzz take immediate action, they will deduct My Net-pack of 101rs and also 45rs from my balance.
                              they donot give proper reason for this deduction !! And Customer Care was not show actual care to customer they dosn't respond to our phone call...
                              This happens with me about 10-15 times..


                              now i am get irritated
                              if reliance doesn't take any action then i'll complaint against it to consumer forum

                              actually this happens with me so many time..

                              if you check my call details towards the customers care of reliance u find that different customer care executive told different thing
                              they can't give me correct solution or answer.

                              plzz improve this typ of facility and some time if your executives doesn't know about the problem they just told to customer that "my system can't show proper information" so that we will get back soon..

                                Hi Sir\Madam, My sister was using reliance data card with corporate plan, But all of sudden they start charging extra amount in bill, yet we were not using such services from company. Even requiting to company for detail bills to get exact facts for the services provided by company and usage by us. But we did not get any positive response from customer care apart from harassment. Now a days they have crossed the line and asking if not paid they will sue the matter to court. I want you to intervene into the matter and get us help to save us from the brutal behavior of such huge companies which they think can do whatever they want with their power.                                   Hi My Reliance Broadband ID is[protected] mbps Unlimited Thunder Combo Plan). And the problems have become unbearable now. Customer Care is not of any help in both e-mail as well as Toll free no. I have the following problems : 01. Frequently not working almost all alternate days. 02. Speed reduced after 2 days of taking connection. 03. I asked to change my plan to Thunder from Combo Thunder which is not yet done. 04. Previously told about Waiver that for however days your Internet is not working, you will automatically get your bill amount waived; which is fake as the Internet didn't work for 15+ days in last month and I was made to pay for all 30 days saying that my Internet was working well on all 30 days. 05. Again today(11.08.2014) my Internet is not working after doing full payment on 08.08.2014. I called the Customer Care to talk to the senior but they are saying that the Supervisor is not available as of now, you can call after 15 minutes. There are few more complaints which remain due till date and have not been resolved but I am fed up of calling and mailing these sick fellows who don't deliver the service and keep on asking for payment by making 4-5 phone calls per day.

                                  Again my internet is not working from the past two days; may I know who is responsible for this? When I asked for waiver for these two days, they are denying for it.

                                  Customer care says that we have some cable issues in your area, but I want to know, how does that cable issue affect my internet connection, whereas, it works well for the person having same reliance broadband in my next flat?

                                  Simply, these guys are cheating their customers. First they give connection saying 1mbps unlimited and when you use some good amount of data as they say it 'Unlimited', they reduce your speed to 800 kbps and disable your internet saying cable issues.

                                  So sick of you reliance! My experience with reliance was never this much bad.
                                  Moreover, when I was talking to their CC Supervisor(Prem), he couldn't find any request for waiver for the month of July when the Internet didn't work for 12 days continuously. Whereas, on the mail, your CC executives have all the time written like your internet has worked on all the days hence you are not eligible for waiver.

                                  So, there are 2 totally different replies for the same problem and I understand that you are not even looking up into the matter. And intentionally your main motto is to earn money by hook or by crook.

                                  how can you say that it is resolved as per satisfaction? Here are the issues
                                  which still persist -


                                  01. Plan not changed from "'Combo Thunder" to '"Thunder"


                                  02. Request for closure of connection still in process after a week(If you provide
                                  satisfactory service, I am ready to continue with it; as after the payment on
                                  08.08.14, internet
                                  again didn't work for 2 days - 11.08.14 to 12.08.14).


                                  03. I asked(Supervisor Ravi)
                                  for the waiver for the dates 11.08.14 and 12.08.14 but he denied for the same
                                  saying that waiver is applicable only if internet
                                  doesn't work for more than 7 days. Previously
                                  it was very
                                  clear that you will get waiver for all the days when internet
                                  did not work.


                                  04. Request of waiver for the period - 13.08.14 to 25.08.14 not granted as the internet
                                  didn't work continuously
                                  between the period.


                                  05. Speed issue not resolved as the speed continues to be 800 kbps
                                  in 1mbps plan.


                                  06. As I have already made the payment for till the next 10.09.14, again I have
                                  got a bill for the next month which is Rs.
                                  716 instead of Rs.
                                  616. You have charged me for late payment, I want to know why I am not getting
                                  any compensation for all the above points 01 to 05 and now I am being asked for
                                  late charge? I can sue you as well.
