"Jio AirFiber Complaint Mishandled – Requesting Escalation and Compensation"

Complaint Description:

I am a customer of Jio AirFiber, and I raised a complaint regarding the poor upload speed and connection issues. Despite repeated follow-ups, the issue was not resolved. The complaint was closed without any resolution, causing further inconvenience.

I was assured by Jio's customer care team that an internal team would contact me within 24 hours, but no such call was received. An engineer was sent to address the issue, but instead of resolving it, the engineer was unprofessional, pressuring me to close the complaint despite the issue being unresolved.

The engineer did not handle the repair work and instead asked me to reset the router and follow unclear instructions. The situation was not only frustrating but also a waste of time.

Additionally, I have recordings and screenshots of the issue, including the pressure to cancel the complaint, which I am happy to provide for further verification.

Impact:
This unprofessional behavior and lack of resolution caused significant inconvenience, mental stress, and a loss of time, affecting my daily routine and productivity.

Request:
I request an immediate resolution of the issue, along with compensation for the inconvenience caused, and a formal apology from Jio for the poor service and pressure to cancel the complaint. I also ask for proper action to be taken against the engineer responsible.

    I booked a Jio AirFiber connection by paying ₹1000 as a booking amount and later ₹2143.52 during the KYC process, totaling ₹3143.52. After the KYC visit, an engineer visited my location and informed me that Jio AirFiber was not available at my address.

    Useless service

    I am a jio user for more than 8 years. I had a monthly plan of 209. I wanted to use 5g so brought the 5g data voucher for 601 rupees. It did not work. Contacted support and heard that 1.5gb/day plans can only work with this voucher. So went ahead and recharged for 666 plan which gives three months of 1.5gb/day plan. The voucher was not applied. Reached support and a lady from support 199 picked up the phone and spoke in Tamil. I explained...

    I just received my bill for jio. I paid that, but still my internet connection was not working. I tried navigating through the app. I tried everything, but nothing was resolving the issue. Then I called the customer care and after calling the customer care, I just got to know that they have a data limit of the month that is 3300 GB for that I have a call recording as well, and when I just go ahead and browse the plan in the my Jio app and there the data is showing unlimited first of all, no one informed me about that second of all I am a working professional. My brother is a working professional. Both o[censored]s are not able to work now, so we’ll be having a no pain no day that is will be deducted from our account or from the salary, so I am facing the loss. I am facing the loss, but my salary. I’m facing the loss of my Wi-Fi now when I called to the customer care, they are telling me to get the data pack updated. I just got the recharge done. I have the receipt and everything of that and then They are telling me that you have consume 3300 GB in just three days as my billing cycle is from 21st to 21st, so I’ve just consume 3300 GB in three days and now they are telling me to get a booster pack updated for the same.       Airfiber order cancellation scam

      I have purchased JIO AIRFIBER connection by paying Rs. 1111 from jio official website Booking No. LR00000F44OX. Due to some reasons I don't want the JIO fiber.

      There is no option in My JIO app to cancell the booking order. The Jio customer care also do not provide any option to cancel the booking.

      The connection is on hold condition.

      I am writing to raise an urgent complaint regarding my Jio number 840XXXXX31, which has been reassigned without my consent. I have been in Canada for studies for the past year and recently discovered that my number is no longer active.
      This has caused serious issues, as my bank accounts, UPI, and other critical services are linked to this number, posing security risks. I was never informed about its deactivation or reassignment.

        I am Shankar, a customer of airtel prepaid service for the past 5 years.
        On December 18, 2024, at 11:22 AM, I mistakenly recharged the wrong number. I recharged [protected] (Jio) with a ₹799 package instead of the intended number [protected] (Airtel).
        Could you please transfer the recharge to [protected] or refund the amount of ₹799?

          I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my experience with your company.

          I purchased a White Studio membership (Membership Number: **2882654**) in 2019 and paid an amount of ₹80, 000. Unfortunately, during the pandemic period, I received no follow-up or support from Club Mahindra. Subsequently, I was informed that my account had been suspended, with no further assistance or resolution provided.
          Later, an agent from your company approached me and convinced me to take a new membership (Membership Number: **3015118**), with the assurance that my old dues would be repaid. However, after making all the required payments for the new membership and clearing all dues, I have been informed that my old dues will not be refunded. I believe this conduct is not in line with the reputation of a company like Club Mahindra. I feel misled and cheated twice, first with the suspension of my original membership without notice and then with the false promise of a refund for my old dues.

          I request a thorough review of my case and an immediate refund of the old dues related to my first membership. As a loyal customer who has fulfilled all obligations for the new membership, I expect Club Mahindra to honor the commitments made by your representatives. I hope this matter will be resolved promptly to avoid any further inconvenience or escalation. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a swift and positive response.

            JIO Customer service is pathetic.
            They do not value their customers.
            My mother is aged and lives on her own.
            Her account has been suspended even after making the payment.
            We have tried reaching to JIO helpline multiple times but to no avail.
            I have got no option but to write here.
            She is living alone with no access to any form of media.
            We even made the payment twice thinking that might expediate the process but again nothing.
            This is really a shame on JIO's part.

                I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my unresolved Jio Fiber issue (SR# SR000023P15M). Despite repeated calls and rescheduled visits over five consecutive days, no technician attended to my complaint. I raised the service request on 20th October, 2024 at 12 noon and as of yet none of the technician / engineer has attended to resolve the issue.

                The tracking status falsely claims the technician visited, stating "door was closed." This is inaccurate, as I awaited their arrival.

                Furthermore, Jio Fiber refuses to refund my six-month advance payment. This unacceptable service and misleading communication have eroded trust.

                  I did a recharge for reliance jio mobile No. [protected] of Rs. 209/- via Amazon with order id[protected] today dated 24-Oct-2024 at 11:56 AM using my Kotak Mahindra Rupay Credit Card No. [protected]. Amount Rs. 209/- deducted but recharge did not activated. Please do needful for recharge activation.

                      Have visited jio store for a sim, they took my id authorised & gave one jio sim, after activating the sim i checked on TAFCOP to my shock there are 2 extra sims registered on my id, along with the new sim number. the rep who registered accidentally showed me that max DOT limitdfor the day is reached, which i dint realise at that time, only after seeing on TAFCOP i understood that he registered fradulent sims on my id, i reported the numbers on TAFCOP, and reported about my identity theft to UIDAI, went to store for explanation, the guy blatantly refused, & went to say they could be some body elses, how come they appear only upon my buying jio sim, while they were never mapped to my id previously ?? they deny & brush awsy saying they are not jio network numbers, but i asked him to clarify if they are others numbers, why are they mapped to my id ? & if so ? theis brings aquestion if he issued me sim on others id ?? to this they verify and say, that sim he issued to me is on my name only, if that is so?? how can he say they are some one elses numbers mapped to my id ?? and more over he registered some one elses number as my alternate number., this and the message that said max daily DOT limit exceeded indicates a strong possibility of fraud.., i mailed jiocare, no response, the fteam members do not help/assist, or take responsibility, i mailed to jio apellate, they say they need service reference from jio care, but jio care do not provide any reference number, customer care, do not take the call, inspite of blocking on TAFCOP, they take 2 complete months to block those fraudulent numbers, maenwhile...any thing can happen, i checked my authorisation history revealed that the authorizations were done 2 times successfully, along with this & max limit mesaage, & numbers not linked to my id are niow mapped only upon buying the jio sim and they registering some other number as my alternate number are all strongly pointing to a well planned fraud, and jio doesnt care, to curb these illicit activity, nor jio do not want to care about the customers safety, since they do not respond, and keep passing on the baby, stor inchrge says, his boss, he says, regional, they all say jiocare, jio care dont provide service number, and apellate says jiocare & service number, so they do not attend...clearly a lapse in the way they handle their responsibilities.

                        Pathetic after sales service by Jio team.

                        More than a week that a request is raised, and they shamelessly keep on postponing the request since 3rd September.

                        Field engineer visit is rescheduled almost 10 times which is really annoying and disturbing at the same time.

                        Call center number keeps on reassuring about escalation but nothing moving.
                        Cannot track the engineer in Jio app which they falsely claim.
                        Even on the date and time allotted for engineer, the engineer's phone number is not shared with the customer.

                            On 2nd of July2024 I place a recharge in Jio Prepaid for Rs.2999/- through Google Pay, the amount has been deducted from my bank account but till now I haven't received any services prior to my recharge. I've contacted with my Bank and Google customer care they both have claimed that my money has successfully been received by the receiver but when I contacted with Jio they claim that they haven't received any payment from my side which doesn't make any sense as I've proof of my transaction details but they have refused to co-operate with me. I want to file a charge back !

                              No response from Jio air fiber care even after multiple follow ups for resolution

                              Have purchased Jio air fiber service in the last week. having trouble viewing of few of the channels, picture quality shows very blurr and no clarity. TV continuously buffering. Internet speed is very slow, even you tube is not betting played.
