Sony India has so bad services. They are just irritating me alot with their all time worst products. People buy things/products for their own and i think sony wants to keep their products for themselves. I brought this phone SONY XPERIA SP, (IMEI-[protected]) and now i had to send my phone again for microphone problems. I don't know what they did with my phone. I am so mentally tensed, please ask sony to help me solve my issues or i can go to consumer court. My friends asked me to buy apple Iphone but i myself went for sony and now i am regretting. And i haven't received my jobnumber till now from sony. They are so careless. Help me please sir/ma'am.       I own a DVD home theatre system of Sony. It is facing push power protector problem. As an educated person, I went on their website and many other tech sites to find a solution to it. I did all the steps to resolve the issue but nothing happened. Finally I called the customer care for service request. After 2 days an engineer came to my home from Orbit Electronics, Worli, Mumbai which is one of their service centers. He asked me the problem and I told him that push power protector issue is there since a month. He started performing all the steps which I already performed by refering to many websites. E.g. Plugging out the cables, checking the speaker wires and checking the power supply. After that he opened the system and closed it as if he was just trying to show me that he did his job. Then he said the system would need to be taken to the service centre for which there are transportation charges of Rs.340 if I ask sony to pick up. I asked him for the exact issue before I plan to take it to the service center but surprisingly he said that one of the ICs must have been faulty. I asked him again which one to which he said we can only tell this at service centre. Was he trying to make more money on behalf of Sony because Sony might have given instructions to their Enginers to talk this language. I told him that what have you done as an engineer but he kept mum and asked for Rs.170 which was his visiting fee. The moment he left I called customer care and explained the whole incident. I was assured that a senior engineer will visit again to check the system and this time I dont have to pay him the visiting charges. Its been 7 days with 2 follow up mails and 2 calls but no body has turned up. They don't even respond to the mails in a proper manner. I really felt cheated now after 2 yrs of buying this product when I am experiencing their after sales service. I can easily say that Sony will be having the worst after sales service. Now I am planning to write a petition to consumer court for this issue and I'll ask for the refund of the product. Sony is cheating its customers believe me. Any of you reading this, please do not buy Sony products otherwise you'll have to go through the same problems and hassles in case of any technical issues.

        I had bought Sony BRAVIA HD TV KDL-42W700B first week of march 2014. Its been hardly 5 month Tv display has gone. Sony centre people saying will replace the display. How convent it is to say and what's a point of buying new Sony TV. I fail to understand if its a brand new Tv how the display can go. I bought Sony Tv only for its great quality & service.         We bought the KLV-32BX300 model of Sony Bravia LCD TV for 32000 INR from an authorized Sony dealer in 2010. Just after the warranty period the picture quality began to reduce. Now the display shows blurred images and one could physically feel a molten plastic like appearance on the screen. And this plastic layer even came off at certain places. The display also gets overheated.

        As soon as we noticed this we consulted with the dealer and they informed that there are many similar cases reported for Sony LCD's. The company's response to this is thoroughly disappointing as they are just insisting to replace the panel which costs about 17000 INR. This is pathetic as one could buy a new LCD TV for this price nowadays.

        As this issue is common to more than 20 customers in our locality alone and one could see many such issues reported in the discussion forums like these, one expects the company to take a positive action on this. These kind of quality issues are dumping your good name as a quality and customer friendly brand.

        Even after many mails and reminders to the Sony Services, no positive reply and this clearly shows the kind of support one could expect from this brand after purchase.

          Greetings of the Day!!! Its been almost a month gone by & I am yet to receive a reply from Sony side. I have never expect such kind of customer service from one of an esteemed & renowned organization. I have purchased one M2 mobile from Sony World, Kolkata on 26th July'14. After using mobile for twenty days suddenly display of the phone problem occurred. When i went to service centre they told me that parts need to be replaced. I got my mobile phone on 24.08.14, I request for a mobile change but I receive my old mobile after getting almost 16 parts changed. Again from last couple of days am unable to connect headphone from SONY M2 whereas my same head phone is working in other mobiles. Now I again need to run services centre on daily basis & beg for repair. It’s now seems that I have been cheated, very sorry to say but this is in fact true to the problem which am facing from last one month. Expect a revert from your side. Also let me know the way forward. Shall I expect a new mobile in replacement or again there will be a parts replacement will happen & handed over me the same phone. Naved Eqbal (Loyal Sony Customer)

              I got my Sony Xperia Z phone on 14th March 2013 and after 9 months o[censored]se the ear speaker stopped working. Went to service center and they replaced my phone and gave me a new handset. The new handset was working fine when again after 8 months there were 2 dots started appearing on the screen. Went to service center and they said that we can only give you 20% off on the new handset that you buy again from Sony as my phone is out of warranty. So basically what they are trying to tell is that I will only get Rs.8000 for my phone which is not at all cool. Please help me out in this regard as I'm not at all willing to pay another Rs. 25000 for the new phone or 16000 for the new screen as this is not at all my fault and is not fair. I did not pay 40000 for the phone which I'm not able to use for even 1 year properly.This kind of stuff is not expected from Sony Mobile at all. Please see the image that I have attached for the current problem that I'm facing this time.You can see the dots on the top left side of the screen.

              I'm just getting 8000 for my phone for which I spend 40000, there is only 2 dots appearing on the screen which is definitely the hardware fault.
              Other than that the phone is in proper working condition. I accept that the phone is out of warranty now but paying so much again for a phone makes no sense. Some action has to be taken by Sony on this. And instead of helping there customers there are trying to avoid them which is not expected by the top market player like sony.

                I HAVE PURCHASED MY NEW XPERIA Z1 ON DATED 13/8/14 SR NO..Sony C6902, black, IMEI NO- [protected], SL NO.[protected], BUT THERE WAS A GREAT PROBLEM IN CAMERA, PHONE ALSO HANGS AND CHARGING PROBLEM ALSO, THE COMPLAINT WAS MADE TO SERVICE CENTRE AT PATIALA ON 13SEPT2014, AND ON DATED 18SEPT2014 SERVICE CENTRE WAS CONTACTED AND THEY TOLD ME THAT U WILL NOT GET A NEW PHONE AND TRIED TO GIVE ME AN OLD PHONE WHICH WAS ALREADY GOT SCRATCHED FROM BOTH SIDES, I HAVE SPENT RS.35, 000 ON THIS PHONE AND THIS WAS IN GUARANTEE PERIOD SO, PLEASE PROVIDE ME A BRAND NEW PHONE BECAUSE I HAVE RETURNED IT TO SERVICE CENTRE WITHIN 1 MONTH FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE, I AM VERY MUCH HARRASSED BY THE SERVICE CENTRE BECAUSE I HAVE TO VISIT SERVICE CENTRE SO MANY TIMES TO GET MY PHONE SWAPPED, DO IT EARLIEST OR I WILL GO TO COURT!!!

                  I submitted my phone to fortune service centre on 1st of september 2014 and they told me that it would be repaired within a week.Its more than two weeks now and still it has not been delivered by service centre.Whenever I am asking them they are giving the reason that they have sent the phone to Ranchi and they have not dispatched the phone phone after repairing it.When I called on the toll free number I got the reply that my phone is repaired I can receive from the service centre but when I asked the the person to whom I submitted my phone he said still my phone is in Ranchi.I am totally annoyed with the attitude of the servicing staff. my jobsheet number is W[protected]. [protected], after six month it started problem with signals immediately I visited Sony customer service and they changed its motherboard. And after that it started problem with mike since than I m continuously visiting Sony service center Accel Frontline Nehru Place. But my problem is still alive and I am really fed up this device even my friend start teasing with the quality of the Sony .Don't make me to think that I have done a mistake purchasing a phone of your company.                           On April 19, 2014 I bought a Sony Viao laptop, model SVF-14N16/Silver, Sr. no.[protected] at Store(YASHPAL ELECTRONICS PVT. LTD) in New Delhi, India, of Rs 60, 500-/ which was delivered to me on 22nd April, 2014. This product was defective as its touch was not working properly, it hangs and battery heats up, I returned back it to dealer to get it replaced, He denied to replace and gave me same faulty laptop after repairing at sony service center, Again the same problem arise after 2-3 days, I went to sony center got it repaired multiple times, the problem is temporarily fixed but again problem arises after 2-3 days, Again I have to take leave from my office, take the backup of my system and bring it to your sony centre due to which my office work is being adversely affected.I am sick of repeated failure of my laptop. After a debate with the dealer as well as sony customer care, I have drafted several emails on dated 11/08/2014 to sonyindia.[protected]@ap.sony.com to get my lap top replaced or return my money, but now they are not ready to give the replacement of my laptop.                             I am surprised at the unprofessional and non co operative attitude by Sony Service Agent in Allahabad. And more surprised at the way he is being protected by Sony India Customer care people. My son is studying In Allahabad and his Xperia ZR got screen problem while taking snaps in light drizzle. Sony is charging hefty premium for its water proofing screens. But when my son went to the service centre he was shocked to hear that Sony will not give warranty for its screens...!! What for Sony sells its water proofing phones in India ?? NO ONE SHOULD EVER BUY THESE PHONES OF SONY... NO SUPPORT EXISTS FOR THESE PHONES AND YOU ARE LEFT STRANDED...!                                 Sony tv model bx300 display damaged

                                I purchased one SONY TV MODEL BX300 BE 3 BRAVIA ENGINE TV nearly 3years now before 6months the display of the TV at the bottom edge started a narrow line like shrinking or burning of plastic paper like that now it is every day increasing that line width and now almost half area of display same problem. Please take needful action for this and give me a replay for this matter.

                                i have purchased xpreria C ...and after 5 months its starts hanging automatically and operate by its own ...i rush to the service centre they upgraded the software ...but the problem is stil not resolve...they have kept the handset saying that they will change the mother board...i have gave the handset on 8 sept 14... job no. W[protected]...after so many days my handset is stil not repaired and they are not issuing any standby sets...it is become quite difficult to bear it...and not getting satisfactory answer from service center and cstomer care executive...kindly plzz help...

                                  I own Xperia Z1 which is under warranty of 9 months. My phone was damaged and one of its parts (Part No.[protected]_ USB CHARGING PORT COVER). So i visited three of your Service centres and here is what i experienced

                                  24th Aug: D G service centre, Panvel,

                                  Part price as they suggested: 1, 040.00 Rs.
                                  Would be replaced and given back in 7-8 days and i ordered the same.

                                  They didnt gave me any revert after that till 11th Sep 2014, when they called and told that the part is arrived and requested me to come and get it fitted.

                                  I went on 12th of Sep, and gave the phone but then they conveyed me that the they have ordered is defective and is not appropriate. They asked come back after two days.
                                  Since then i am being irresponsibly handled ever since they have been ignoring my calls and not giving any concrete answers to my queries.

                                  And to top this, I went to your Vashi Service centre was surprised.

                                  Part Price: 500-550 Rs.
                                  that it will take: 15 Days

                                  Revert me with any solution to the earliest

                                    Reg : Sorry to purchase Xperia Z2 and disappointed with services of Global
                                    Techno Care, Authorised Service Centre,
                                    Alwar (Rajasthan)


                                    Respected Sir,


                                    Had I committed a mistake by purchasing Xperia
                                    Z2 in the month of June 2014 since I have been apprised by your Service Centre
                                    Alwar that the cable No. EC 803 can not be replaced as it has not so far been
                                    entrered in the system?


                                    The grievances naration is as under :


                                    i)
                                    I
                                    purchased Eperia Z2 Black IME[protected] Charger No. 2114 WO9406751 from
                                    M/s Sachin Telecommunication, Alwar vide bill No. 7151 dated 17.06.2014 for Rs.
                                    44800.00.

                                    ii)
                                    Unfortunately
                                    during last week my above charger
                                    stopped proper working.

                                    iii)
                                    Yesterday
                                    in the noon, I sent my Driver to your Authorised Service Centre who was not
                                    attended properly neither was convinced for not repairing/replacing of the
                                    charger.

                                    iv)
                                    Yesterday,
                                    evening around 5.00 PM I had to approach your Service Centre and was attended
                                    around 5.25 PM. I am sorry to point out that the reason for waiting was not the
                                    quantity of the customers but the quality of services being rendered by the
                                    faces of the company - the persons sitting on the front benches.

                                    v)
                                    One lady
                                    alone was attending the customers and the other was sitting idle which resulted
                                    unnecessary wastage of the precious time of the customers.

                                    vi)
                                    I was
                                    attended by the second lady, sitting on the extreme right just infront of
                                    downstairs when Mr. B. C. Jain (Father of Mr. Ravi Jain - who is reported to be
                                    the owner of the service centre) interrupted and instructed her.

                                    vii)
                                    The
                                    reason for not replacing my charger cable was very surprising and not
                                    convincing at all!

                                    viii)
                                    I was
                                    apprised, since the company has so far not entered the No. of the above Cable
                                    No. EC 803 in the system hence it could not be replaced. We will send a mail to
                                    the company and as and when the same is entered in the system than only can be
                                    replaced.

                                    ix)
                                    On asking
                                    for probable days for solution of the problem I was casually given a telephone
                                    No. [protected] with the kind advice to make telephone call on daily basis. As
                                    and when the charger is received the same may be collected from the service
                                    centre.


                                    I was very sorry and agrieved with the
                                    attitude and reply and the quality and level of the services rendered at your
                                    service centre and with the view to report the matter to the company I asked
                                    the lady to let me know her name and give in writing the reasons but again it
                                    was to my surprise when she refused to reveal the name and specifically denied
                                    to give anything in writing.


                                    It becomes more funny/interesting/surprising
                                    when the person sitting on the counter were bearing a badge written thereon
                                    EXCELLENCE IN SERVICE IS OUR QUALITY.


                                    I also saw at your service centre a Sign Board
                                    displaying the information that - Company provides temporary handsets to the
                                    persons whose handsets are received for repairs/services. Is it not like a fun
                                    that while company is providing handsets but there is no remedy for charger
                                    cable?!


                                    It is not out of the place to mention here
                                    that nowadays it is the talk of the town that what were the compulsions with
                                    the Sony Company who has assigned the job of Service Centre to the person who
                                    was already running Service Centre of Nokia Care and having hundreds of
                                    complaints of ill behaviour with the customers. It seems that the proprietor
                                    has played some game under the table or some hidden hand has helped in
                                    assigning the responsibilities of service centre in Alwar. In my opinion the
                                    very purpose of providing courteous services to the customers is being
                                    completely defeated.


                                    To know the truth of level of services being
                                    rendered by your Alwar centre a secret enquiry may be conducted and persons who
                                    have visited your centre during last 3 - 4 months may be contacted, definitely the truth will come out and the
                                    Company may be saved with a heavy probable loss of image in future.


                                    Meanwhile the following steps may be fruitful
                                    if implemented :


                                    ·
                                    Every
                                    employee sitting on the counter must bear his/her name plate.

                                    ·
                                    Feed back
                                    be also collected from the customers to whom your Service Centre has provided
                                    the services.

                                    ·
                                    CCTV
                                    Camera be installted so that through internet from the
                                    Controlling/Administrative Offices of the Company, situated in other
                                    cities, the affairs may be
                                    monitored.


                                    I hope that my grievances will be redressed
                                    urgently and suitable steps will be taken to improve the services at the
                                    Service Centre otherwise I apprehend that it will spoil the image of the
                                    company which I thank you will also not bear!
