Sun Direct DTH TV — Not Activated

Resected Sir,

I have purchased Sun direct from 38, kungunjresi plaja road bharuch in bharuch, on 2 Jan2009. Amount is paid at the time of purchasing. But till the date it has not been activated.
please take the descision at the earliest.

Sun Direct customer care is deaf & dumb.They are very slow in activating but particular about cutting off the services without informing. They are not following the terms and condition. The chennels which were guaranteed in the catalog are also cut.

the worst, dth work in india, is sundirect, they markte showing channel, and with out minumum guareente, they reomve it and they dont activitet add on channels after payment, they dont lift phones, toll free will not work, the worst and the waste dth in india, cheating peoople with south sentiments.
how can i recharge my account because i trying to recharge so many ways but no use. u give a connection in all over the india but recharging is a big problem then how wacthing our favourite programs pls try change recharging method.i want see macth in star cricket i got recharge card before one week but now itself i cant recharge it what can do

I recharged the Sun Direct. But there is no connection still. for the past two days. SUN Direct is worst cutomer care.

They are giving advertisement as Rs.75. But we need to pay Rs. 125/- for minimal recharge. I don't know what shall we do?

Sun Direct — Activation/recharge problem.pathetic service

It is pathetic to mention that I have taken a burden on my head buy purchasing sun direct dish & receiver. The packages and charges are not known even to its distributor. During my last six month dealing with sun i was out of service for at least two months altogether and suffering now. The cunning advertisement mis guids everyone at the time of purchase itself.

the man at customer care replays like recorded voice, eager to say "thank you for calling" and to cut off without listening to the complaint.

Infact you are denieing the freedom to aquire knowledge and information.

Every time i try to recharge Sun DTH getting problem the number always busy even if we get line for Rs 100 recharge we need to spend Rs. 10 on telephone. I took one connection in last week 24/10/09 ... But it is not activated till (26/10/09). i called sun direct customer care and given the complaints.

Sundirect — recharge successfully-without getting channel

I had recharged my account on 19.10.2009 through recharge card. But it was not activated, I am not getting any channels on my TV.(my card No. [protected]) On 20.10.09 I called up customer care[protected] toll free no [protected]- not getting line), they booked complaint & gave me ref no-[protected] same time I reported to local dealer[protected]. This problem was not attended. Again I called up again and again . On 07.11.09 again I called up customer care, they not given proper solution, then I called up local dealer ( golden Flates, Mugappaire, Chennai), they toled me, there is no complaint booked in their register, then I started shouting till shouting tan tana tan tannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
there should be recharge and activation facility for the customer. Once if it is deactivated, it is not gettting activated automatically after recharge by net.

SUN DTH — TOPUP problem

Hi,

I have taken the SUN DTH in Thane Maharashtra in the month of April 2009. During the setup I requested to activate basic TELUGU package and they said OK and recharged it to TAMIL. Irrespective of several calls their dealer has not responded properly. Then I called the customer service and they say it can be re-activated only during the next renewal.

Recently I thought to activate and add-on so I topup with 50 Rs through online. Surprisingly it was not added to my balance and I called them multiple times and they say their system is not working properly and ask me to call after 15 mins. The same answer is for two days and I called almost 10 times. One day they say they will discuss with their manager and kept me on hold for more than 15 mins and say it can be done by tomorrow. I checked after 24 hrs but no use, again I called their customer service and he puts me on hold without any response. For a 50 rs topup I spent 70 Rs for my calls. I even sent a mail to them through their website but no use. What to do with these people???

I activated Setmax on 12/03/2010 for viewing IPL thorugh their site. The site shows it is activated and the amount for the same is accounted. I brought sun direct HD. I have recharged my account by Rs 200 today through online by using ICICI debit care. However when in call to customer care of sundirect they are saying it is not recharged and the amount balance (Topup) in sun direct record showing nil. Whereas when I check my bank statement it shows the amount Rs200 has been debited and paid to sun direct. Request you to please guide me and kindly get my topup or reverce the amount to my ICICI bank account.

When I called to the Pune dealer they are not responding neither guiding me properly.

Sun Direct DTH — CHANNELS NOT UPTO THE LIST EXPLAINED

I have procured sun direct on 1st Jun 2010 after 10 days since there were satellite problems all channels were disrupted and i wasnt able to view any channels for 1 week now they have released only a few channels and restricted most of the important channels and the FM Radio is also not coming - When called up to the Call Centre they promise that it will be done shorty but after one month also it is not rectified. I want to file a case against SUN DIRECT PVT. LTD as a customer.

Our Sun Direct DTH is not working properly and we are not getting some channels which we used to get. The 24 Hour helpline is not getting and its always busy and not able to give complaint. There is no response from the Company for the email compalint lodged. very very poor service.. Totally unprofessional approach..

yes. I recharged on 31.10.2010 and so many phone calls from me to[protected] for activiation for which the receiver reply is that they activate through technician within 48 hours from the date of recharge. Till today nearly 15 days have gone, no activation for me. The receiver on the other side, giving reasons is whether true or lie, beccause, every receiver on the other side assured that the activation will be within 48 hours. For complaining itself I have spend more than Rs.70/-. This shows the service is very poor to customer.
it is de worst of all brands that i have ever seen, such a shame to maran, he can better sell this out and start a petty shop if he is not able to solve the issue, i have rasied the complaint on 22 nd september IN HYDERABAD and still the issue is not resolved.

I am SUN DTS customer my Sun card number is [protected] . I recharge my SUN DTS account on 21st July 2011for six month plan with free of one month but they are not provide the service on till date . we already inform to customer care but then ignore the issue the entire time . I shared some complain number with date :

Every time they committed that your problem will have to closed before 24 hours . but this is pending on till date .
I request to you please close this issue and charge the penalty that they provide the three month extra service without fee. I will very obliged to you for taking the necessary action in this regard

I have recharged my no. for Rs.1000 on 10/2/12 order id R[protected].
But it is yet credit to my account. SO I raised om Saturday complaint no, 1-[protected],
I was told it will be done with in 48 hours,but did not get any response.
When I called again on 13/2/12 they told it is at back end they will correct it as soon as possible by end of day and
gave new complaint no.1-[protected]. so when your 48 hours gonna end?????
you guys will deactivate on time. why not activate as soon we recharge?? Is there any compensation for this delay???.

    Hi,

    I had bought a Sun DTH recharge coupon on Sat, 2nd May 2009. I called up the given number and they said I would get the requested channel in 5 hours. I called at 4:30pm on Saturday. Today is Tuesday and i still havent had any response from them. They say they are understaffed.

    For their monthly rentals, if i say I'm underpaid would they accept?

    My tv shows that "E04-4 Please insert smartcard". I am facing this problem from 04.08.09, however, till date not rectified. The customer care officers are asking me to contact the dealer and whenever i contacted the dealer, he is asking me to call me tomorrow. In this connection, informed the customer care officer, however they were rude to me and they were not giving any proper reply who will clear my problem.

    When i asked the customer care officer to provide the senior officers no. they are refusing to the same also.

    In this connection, i had contacted chennai no. also, but in vain.

    Hence all the people who are reading this is requested that before getting the sundirect connection, be prepared for their inhuman approach towards customers.

      Dear sir,

      I am Prasanta Kumar Tripathy, a customer of sundirect dth service having subscriber id-[protected].i have taken the service at holi this year, at that time my channels are not showing 7 days i have regularly call to the MUMBAI CUSTOMER CARE, CHENNI CUSTSERVICE, but no body help me out then after 11 days some body from cuttack solve my problem.3 days back again a problem arrise that E-06error arise a message came that ur smart card is blocked then after 1hour all the channels are seen.but the next a problem arise that every 15 mins gap channels are dissapear and automatically appear i call to the customer care no-[protected] no body pickup the phone and my mob bill willl raise 200/- then call to chenni cust care they give me mumbai cust care no i will try this& told hie like tata sky send some gye o[censored]r orissa office to my home he see my problem and resolve it.they told me this type of home service not available till now.i observe in this 2 month service that the worst cust care & the pathetic service this company give only give the adds on tv nothing else.i have having a punch line for sundirect"isko lagalala to life battar sala" & "less money more headache".kindly help me out

      at the time of taking sundirect i actually having misconception that ur customer service is good as u are the new player enter in the indian market, but i am wrong as the worst/pathetic customer care you have .u people are not reviewing ur customer care people.u just shut down ur bhubaneswar customer care no[protected] as i have tried 300 times but no body will pickup the phone always engaged, & my mob bill will 600 /-.who will pay this money and also on comparision from tatasky their people reach the home for any service.

      Yes.. SunDirect provides a hopeless service to its customers. Within 20 days of installation, twice the signal broke down & even after repeated followup with customer care (No.[protected], [protected] & [protected]) they are least bothered to do the needful.

      Even we will not get any sort of replay from the mail ID [protected]@sundirect.in. Not sure it exist or not. Is there any way we can terminate their service & get the remaining amount from them?

      Can't live with their ineffeciency & inability to provide stable connectivity.

      Have subscribed for Sundirect from 02.05.2009. Already within 20 days, twice the connectivity broke down.
      Since 20.05.2009, Again signal is down & complaint has been logged. (Complaint ID :)
      While registering the complaint itself, I have been told that within 48 hours the problem will be resolved!! This is too long SLA to resolve such issue. Does Sun direct take responsibility to extend the validity period by these black out period?
      If not, please do not advertise yourself like "Break free from the hassles of cables with Sun Direct." As per the experience I had with Sun Direct in last 20 days, Sun Direct is also giving not too far behind the service we get from normal cable operator.

      Anticipating good responsible service from Sun direct.

      i have pathic experiance with sundirect, i have E-17 error in my system while i made to customer care deppt in the month of june(himanshu) they asked 48 hours but while i made call after 07 days, they didnt do anything there after, one of lady neelam he again asked 48 hrs, afte 02 days i made call there was a vivek, he picked my call after that he disconnect and again i made call there was a mr Prabhat, he misbehaved when i said, i want to talk with other cce, he disconnected my call and said, if you need you have to make call here we are not your servent, its really hurt to me, this type of cce is in sundirect, this is a really same.Should i go to consumer court.?

      The problem is not only with Sun DTH but also with all DTH services in India. All you have to do is to learn how to realign it or better to go for a new dish, since a slightest deshape in curvature of the dish would result in loss of channels.
      I'm new to the SUN DTH. I'm given my request twice times for connecting my SUN DTH box. But up to now i'm not getting any response from the customer OF SUN DTH.

        I’m experiencing very bad service support since from the 1st day of this connection, ( SUN DIRECT )

        1. There vendor who provided me the set up box said that i will be getting the connection with in 1hour But i got the connection only after 3days
        2. He never gave the bill for this purchase,
        3. When I wanted to Top up my account for the package for 270Rps the shopkeeper said i can top up only for 300Rps
        4. Finally I have some Signal problem from 19th JUNE & have reported this to customer care & have spoken to lot of people like Tabreez, Noel, Siddique, Sumaiaha, & many more, & final Hidayat ( who said he is a manger) they said that the technician will come today to fix the issue, i called again on 23rd June ( Sunday ) even then they said the technician will come today to fix the issue, & when spoke to Hidayat he said they are have shortage of technician & are busy in installing new connections, but till now nobody have has called me nor visited my place to fix this issue,
        5. I have called nearly 50times but I’m not getting any proper response, they hung my call Or put me on MUTE,
        6. I kindly request to rectify this issue & fix it asap, as we nobody is bothered for my complaint,

          No customer care and channels activated but not coming

          HI I have sun dirrect DTH. From Day 1 i am having issues. TYhey never pick the phone at cust carre. their distributors also same. Recharged for set max and it was coming. all of a sudden channel shows as scrambled. 2 days without IPL.. i have enogh balance to recharge but and it was recharged only on 19th of april. they have stopped the service on 1st May. Donno who is going to help. But NEVER SUN DIRECT IN FUTURE....

          Poor customer service I have ever seen in my life (Sun Direct DTH)
          Past 3 week I am trying to recharge[protected] toll free # [protected] - not getting line)... in this 3 week after continues trying to connect to customer care only once I line got connected to customer care.. i got Response from sun direct DTH customer care (call back tomorrow after 11 am)...
          I have diseased not contact or call (Sun group) any more.
          Just throw out the Sun Direct DTH set of box to dustbin
          Its totally waste of money purchasing Sun Direct DTH … I will think that I have given money to beggar

          Sun Direct DTH — Poor customer service i have ever seen in my life

          What the hell service this stupid sun direct dth provides??? Not even a single soul knows how to talk to customer. Selecting english line, but still the rep dont understand english. Disconnecting the line and putting on hold for more than 10 mts are as usual habits ...

          THe only one mistake i have done is by taking this stupid DTH service

          There can not be a customer care worse than this in this world. In the past 1 months i have tried to reach the chennai customer care & toll free number for atleast 100 times .but i could not reach them even once. I think they have kept the receiver down right from the day sundirect service was started and they do not have any people for customer care service or do not have customer care service at all . They are just Cheating the people by saying they are having customer care .If they pick my call i will kill them over phone itself. This is not the only problem.Among the commercial websites, the sundirect website is worst interface i have ever seen in internet.

          I am a current customer of SUN DTH. This is a real fraud to get the customer and bad handle them. am not saying it without reason..lot of problems..
          1. What they show on their website or customer care, or add pemplate...will not serve you. you will get less channel in actual. for example: check in shine pack, they show colors included...but when u subscribe..it's not..

          2. Very frequent..within week time span..they remove the main channel from subscription.

          3. You complain to cutomer care..of no use. if after a lot try...they add the channel..will remove in 1-2 days again.

          A real frustating service to cheat ppl.
          my dth is not working more than a week " BE1 error" tried a lot lot lot, past one year for recharge tried toll free, no response... so tat using only pay phone number my phone bill is 580RS, their minimum waiting time is 15min. :( . after 15min response is no one is available to respond your call so please try after some time.           Sun Direct — Customer Service is Pathetic

          Hi,
          I would like to draft a compliant against the SUN DIRECT.
          From 25th Oct 2010, when we switch on TV, the message from SUN DIRECT is
          " we have in new satellite, and contact the customer care for free service to get the the signals."

          So that we given a call to customer care, and asked for service and they told us that they will send the representative soon. But no one has sent till now.

          Then again we called them and registered a complaint.

          Till now no response from their end and we fed up with the pathetic service from SUN DIRECT, even they do not know how to deal with the customer.

          I warn whomever planning to take SUN DIRECT that you will regret later.

          I had taken an annual schem from SUN DTH were in i had opted for all movie channels, news channels i.e. UTV movies, UTV bindas, WB, news channel, and many more channels.

          I called up many times SUN DTH customer care & no response yet i received from them.

          Many a times No one attends the calls, & if at all they pick up the phone they say that they do not have any info abt the updation of channels etc.

          My now the problem is that i do not get the channels nor any info abt my money which i hv paid to them.

          I am a subscriber of sun dth since 2008. I paid annual subscription on May 2010. 20.10.2010 onwards we did not see any channels since sun network changed their satellite. I made a complaint to customer care cell on 22.10.2010. No one technician came to my house & resolve the problem. Then after I made a new complaint on 05.11.2010. Tilll now I made atleast 20 complaints repeatedly. But result is zero. So we didnot see our T.V since 20.10.2010.           Sun Direct — Pathetic Customer Service

          I bought SUN direct DTH last year and used it for few months. One day I saw a message on the screen that the satellite has been changed and I have to call customer service to get it fixed. Inspite of calling multiple times and speaking to various people including many rude executives, no one turned up for almost a month. Finally I decided to switch to Tata Sky.

          Recently I shifted my house and called up Tata Sky to shift the connection. They got it done the very next day. I thought of taking an additional connection and decided to go for SUN Direct again expecting the service to be better. It is disgusting to know that SUN DIRECT DTH network being a one of the largest DTH network providers is really proving to be hype at least in Pune. We have had enough for trusting and being a customer who had to wait days together just to transfer existing connection to the relocated residence. In spite of repeated calls to customer care, they are least bothered. It is pity that we have to unfortunately bestow such a remark and name. Our sincere advice to all people is that if you have such irresponsible response from such companies kindly disconnect the so called services. The carelessness and irresponsibility of certain employees will really cost the company many more damages in the near future.

            this is to that complain that i have installed sun direct on 24/01/09 and they guy whow came and installed sun dth told me that i[censored] want any other channels u have to recharge for it so i have recharged it for Rs 200 for ten sports & zee kannda so i have recharged it on 03/03/09 so u r sun direct person tolld me that u can check on line also but going to online i can not acesse my accont so i want to know how to check my balance throw mobile or throw net.please tell me the detils...

              I have installed sun direct dish on 20.03.2009. while installing the box, the engineer by name Amit from Ghaziabad branh, casually asked us about our language on hearing our local language that we spoke in our home. We told him that this is malayalam. This was the only conversation we had at that time.
              He never told us that if we take any particular scheme, we will loose some channels which sund direct gives free to its subscribers. He himself had filled all the papers and asked us me to just sign on the paper. While checking on the TV Channels on activation after 2 days, it came to our knowledge that some channels which are essential for us has been blocked. From the very day itself I contacted Amit and told him the problem, and tried to re-set the channels as per his instruction over phone and conveyed that no changes are there. The next days I called up to customer care and spoke to Mr.Arun there at Ghaziabad and conveyed our problem. He replied that Amit is on leave so he can do something after he reaches back. Several calls have been made to customer service and I have been talking to Amit several time. He once told me that he has to pay from his pocket and install new box. Even I spoken to him on last saturday morning and he confirmed that he will come to my home on monday or tuesday.
              But he has not come. But yesterday evening I again rang up to customer care at Ghaziabad and Arun picked up the phone and replying that Amit is on leave he is not coming to office even. When I replied to Arun that I had a word with Amit on last saturday at customer care, he is not aware about him. Even we had a hot conversation yesterday. I need a solution for this. The mistake is happened from Amit. Why should the customer suffer for it. If you people can't resolve this issue, you may take back your box and return my money. It is useless for me since Amit had activated chanels according to our local language Malayalam. We are staying here in UP and we need to know the news and other channels related to hindi and english and not malayalam.

              While taking the connection the Agent Glowfast, they have shown us the list of free channels which we can see after taking the Box. We are not able to see even the free channels in my TV.

              Pls look into it and resolve the issue within in this week.

              I HAVE TAKEN A SUN DIRECT CONNECTION THROUGH M/s RAMTRONIX, 1-26-26, BAPUJINAGAR, CORSS ROAD, BOWENPALLY, SECUNDERABAD ON 31/7/2009. I HAVE OPTED THE SHINE PACK(HINDI POACK) FOR THE SEVEN MONTHS. MY SMART CARD NO IS [protected].

                I bought Sun direct DTH dervice connection through PONSUBHA telecom, No.1 Swamy nagar, Urapakkam, west on 20.04.08, the next recharge date is on 21.04.09. On 20.04.09 i recharged for 6 months of Rs.650/- to sun direct dth service.
                On 21.04.09, i could not get any channels in the TV-set. then i contacted through phone to Radiant associates pvt Ltd. And they told to contact directly to Sun DTH service directly. I called to sun dth through phone, i could not get any response from them, so many times i contacted them on the same day, i could not get any reponse. IS THIS THE WAY THEY BEHAVE WITH THE CUSTOMERS? when i switched on the TV, it shows E-16 service is scrambled. So, i request you to find a solution for this as early as possible. Even after recharging on correct date and time, they haven't given any proper response, and customer are service is very poor and always network is busy or nobody is picking the phone.

                Dear Sir/Madam,

                We are very sorry to say that your service in vijayawada city is really worst. especially your vijayawada branch people are not at all responding to queries even they are not giving proper reply and some time they are not lifting our calls also. I am really upset with their effort. I gave recharge card on friday but till date they are unable to process it. If we are calling to them they are responding with us rashley. This is not good for your company. If you dont take certain strict action i think your company will not be in the industry for a long time. As a unsatisfied customer i will defnetly terminate from your services shortly.
                You may true some extent, I am using SUN DTH ffrom last 2-3 years.
                Service overall good. Any issues you need to contact customer care only.Please note once your subscription expired, recharge with proper denomination & contact them immidiately and confirm recharge status & ask them to re-activate your required package. Hope this helps.

                  I use Sun Direct DTH service and I do not have complaints on the relay or picture quality and even the availability. However it has one of the worst customer care services in place. It is very difficult to reach the customer care number and would be always busy (probably using very less number of lines). If you try to reach the nodal office at the number provided in the website that too will not be picked up. Once I had a problem in my DTH and got a message "E48 No Signal". The distributor sent a technician who said that the LNB (Low Noise block filter) is faulty and need to be replaced. However Sun Direct customer service said that will not be the problem. I tried to get the technician re-checked for nearly two months in vain. Later we took a local electrician's help who found that the problem was with the the cabling and he replaced the cable and everything was working.
                  Now I have shifted to a new house and need to re-install the service at the new house, but was not able to reach the customer care for last two days and the nodal officer number too is not picked up. Logged an online request in Sun Direct's website, but it does not generate any request number for reference. So it seems to be written on water.
                  though Sun Direct is cheap and the signal is good, the customer servcie is pathetic and I would never recommend this to anybody.

                      For the Past 3 days (18-20 Apr 2009), i have been trying to call the call center on the number[protected],[protected], (these are the only available options) the line is always busy 24 hrs, i tried more than 100 times at different periods.                       I am another disgruntled user of SUN DTH Service. The customer service Nos are always busy. I fully agree with this users comments. It is shame on the part of the SUN DTH for providing such a poor customer care service.

                      Mind you this is not the first time I am facing this problem. The service is going from bad to worse. It is time that somebody pulls up this company for providing such deplorable service to the paying public.

                      SUN DTH is cheating the people. They are giving the ADD; 32 Rs for star sports to watch 20-20. But there is no 32 Rs cards avail in the market. Shops are selling only 100Rs cards. There is a link in their web site to make the payment using credit / debit card. But for the past 4 days (I started checking for the past 4 days) that link is not also working.

                      As usual we cant reach none of the cust care no (I trust sun direct is the worst cust care service).

                      With out selling the add-on amount for 32 Rs how they are giving the offer?

                      To whom we need to ask?

                      VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER CARE, BAD QUALITY OF RECHARGING COUPEN PAPER.WE WANT TO USE OIL ON IT TO SCRATCH.THEY SHOULD MENTION ON IT... THEY DIDNOT MENTION ABOUT THE RECHARGE COUPEN TAX WHEN I BOUGHT SUN DTH.THEY TOLD ONLY RS 75 FOR ONE MONTH VALIDITY.
                      I agree with all the of people who have written in this forum. Firstly, the customer service chaps are WORST and PATHETIC. You choose the english and the person speaks in Hindi. Every time whenever I call with any problem they say contact your distributor.

                      My Problem was: I opted for Shine pack, they loaded my smart card ID with Tamil pack. When I contacted the customer care/distributor they said it is not possible to change (Wow !!! what a system I wondered?)
                      They provided me with the following alternative: Any customer who did not want Shine pack and needs a Tamil pack will be swapped with mine. (Another wonderful solution!!! If you do not find any customer with your pack then get satisfied with what you have got or learn Tamil!!!)

                      They corrected this after much shouting from me after a month. I recharged the new smart card with some new channels. After 3 weeks, my details of my credentials and the settop box online, changed and I lost all the channels that I had recharged. Another bout of shouting got the channels back but not the correct inforamtion under my smart card. Then one fine blue morning somebody from chennai called me and said crores of sorry and corrected the matter in two days because the customer with whom my smart card was swapped got in touch with the MD of the sun direct.

                      I'm sorry I do not have the information about the MD. The government should take serious actions against such organisations who are not interested in providing the value of the customer's money to the customer.

                      So DIKAHVE PE NA JAAO, APNI AAKAL LAGAO!!!

                      opic: Set top box is not getting switched on.. Very rarely if it's on and getting the error as BE1. Facing problem from past 4 days. Please fix this issue ASAP.

                        I have purchased a sundirect dish tv atena with setup box for Rs.1750.00 from M/s. Guru communications Ballabgarh, Faridabad, Haryana.

                        As per my repeated follow-up to the above mentioned dealer regarding non availablilty of imporatnt channels i.e.pogo, sony, discovery, cartoon network etc...etc..

                        and also i have lodged a complaint to the nearest authorised dearler regarding my setup box not working properly. (i.e. sometime sunddenly off my setup box some time not on)

                        we have purchased sun direct and we are not able to call the customer call no as it always busy . there should be atleast three phone number for each discrit and many important channels such pogo, jetix does not comes as my brother is a 5 yeared child and he is not able to see pogo . some tamil channels also is not coming in sun direct such as siripoli, esaiyaruvi and some more channels .

                        Last week you disconnected main channel for, as you informed me, for nonpayment of my monthly charges .There after recharged my smart card no for Rs 1000 and subsequently you activated channels as per my pack.At your insistence I agreed to let you withdraw money from my account for six months.
                        Then as a sudden arbitrarily with out informing me you deleted two important
                        channels which were my and my family's favorite channels viz ASIANET AND ASIANET PLUS FOR WHICH I AGREED TO LET YOU WITHDRAW 6MONTH'S AT A SHOT.I appeal you to at once reinstate both abovementioned channels.

                          I have problem with my Sun dth, it showing E52 no signal past 15 days. I reported to my dealer ( Goldenage Enterprises, No.9, Bharathiyar Street, Gandhi Nagar, Avadi, Chennai - 600054 ), no one taken action. Then I reported to sun direct customer care[protected], they taken complaint & gave me one number ([protected]). Almost I am calling them alternate days, finally they promised me, that they will rectified this problem by today 11am, nobody has come so far. I never seen like this bull sit in my experience. Since 1600hrs I am trying to contact them, I am getting message that "subscriber busy". I don't know talking to whom last 1.30hrs.

                            I Brought a Sun Direct Dish TV Connection from Invent Services, VII/366, Mavelipuram Colony, Kakkanad, Kochi 682030, Phone[protected] on feb 2008. From the day which the Dish is fixed, It is not yet worked. The technicians who came to fix, said some issue was there and they will come to fix the problem in next day. From that day onwards i'm trying to contact them. The phone no is not working too. Till this time it is not worked and the subscription is also expired. The details provided by them is as below

                            In this compitative world.. a service provider give no value to customer. Once i[censored] subscribe for a year, u can neither change ur plan nor get rid of it, u remain customer for a year without even having a customer care who respond to ur problem. I also wonder how this distributers still exists !!! even after me telling the customer care tat my distibuter is not providing me service, but took money from me, they hav no methdology to trace the distributor, and he still remains a distributor. MAY BE I AM EXPECTING TOO MUCH..to watch programs over sun direct after paying them. I AM WRONG .
                            Plz...dont go for SUN DIRECT. Instead watch cable with low Quality. ( Dont think SUndirect is of better quality ) . Dont waste time on it like me ...[protected] R )

                            I am also customer of sundirect from last one month This saturday My set top box was not working .I call several calls to Sun direct but they don't give any positive respond.Then I asked them to if they are not give me a service i shall go to the court.
                            After 10 min they have change my set top box
                            The Worst Customer care support is Sun Direct only . I try to recharge my account but still now i cant able to reach the sun direct and through SMS i send a message now its seond day over no response . Instead of seeing for 100 or 200 Rs, we can go for TATA sky which is THE BEST customer care support . DONT GO FOR SUN DIRECT .

                            The worst ever service provider is sundirect. The customer service no. is always busy. It takes on average 20 minutes to attend to a customer call over STD!. Every time you ring up the automated voice says 'you are important to us' but no one is care to give any response quickly. I was trying the customer care number for one full day, but i could not get it. PLEASE PLEASE DON'T GO FOR SUNDIRECT. THE ADS ARE NO. 1 CHEATING.

                              This is Rajesh from Mysore, Karnataka. I have Sun Direct DTH connection from March 2009.
                              After connection is activated they have taken nearly one week to enable my requested package.

                              Now i have a problem with Set Top Box (i.e) It is not working. When i requested for rectification
                              through customer care services they suggested me to contact the local dealer. Now i have
                              contacted VINAYAKA MARKETING who is local dealer for Sun Direct DTH services. Still my problem
                              is not solved.

                              Sun Direct DTH services are more interested in booking connections and are ignoring the customer services.

                                The Technician hailing from Pachalloor, Trivandrum Corporation, Kerala state working in Sun direct DTH cable service, who was assigned by the Manager of D T H, Maruthankuzhy, Trivandrum to provide connection before three days of the complaint date, Not only that he did not provide the cable connection but also used indissent and uncultured way of discoarse while enqiring about it . I humbly request to take immediate steps to curtail such complaints hereafter andd for the healthy functioning of the enterprise

                                  The most pathetic customer care! My Sun DTH stopped working one fine day & if even if you switch on the STB nothing comes on the TV. On close examining & reading few articles over the net I understood that these were substandard ones. If you are getting a DTH for as low as 499+whatever, these stuff needs to be substandard.
                                  The funniest part was the toll free customer care. I believe these people were absolutely free of their brains. I was kept waiting for 15 – 20 mins before somebody picked the call. This lady I bet comes with no knowledge of the complete system. I explained the whole scenario & she said she will do some refresh and this will be all right in flat 15 mins. Wow! I asked her mam there is nothing coming on my TV (even the startup Sun Logo) and how come a refresh from your side will help resolve the problem. Well, the answer was “Sir it will be all right”. May be she was sure that next time when I call her the call will get routed to someone else & she will be alright. Now after 11/2 hr, I tried someone else picked the call & he asked me to do a software update. “Boss, nothing is showing up on the screen dude, how I will do a software update”, then came his reply “I think you should contact your distributor”. Since I don’t have the distributor number handy I asked for the same & even he didn’t have it. I then did some search & found out the so called nodal officer in Bangalore, none picked the call send a mail came a reply saying that it will be resolved in a day. Since nobody called or nothing happened I tried reaching the distributor using the visiting card which I found after a panic search in my home. To my added surprise none of the 3 nos give in it including the landline where working. How cool is that? Even the calls to the above said nodal officer where answered! It’s been over a week now & I am planning to move to consumer court to get it resolved now.

                                  I indirectly was meaning that none picks the call.
                                  I am also facing the same experience. I am staying in Pune and subscribed MYPACK before 5-6 days.
                                  But I am waiting for activation of DTH till the date.
                                  ###Here is complete story
                                  On Friday my DTH + STB was installed. The person told me that the activation will be done once he reach office. He asked me to keep the DTH switched on. I did it but nothing happened till Saturday Morning. I called up Distributer and complained about this but he gave me contact number of so called Head of sundth Pune operations. I called up that person and got assurance about activation in 24 hrs.
                                  Again I waited and called up that person on Sunday. He didn't pick up the phone. Next day he picked up the phone but said, there is some problem with the activation. Please wait till Monday. Again I waited but it didn't happend. Again deadline was extended by Distributer. I agreed to wait till Tuesday. But these hopeless people did not do anything.
                                  Not I am very frusterated with this game and want to switch to CABLE operator.

                                  Is there any way to sue these people for POOR SERVICE?

                                    I have subscribed to Sun Direct DTH at NOIDA on 23/02/2009 with 5 months free 105 channels - as advertised by SunDirect. 105 channels included COLOURS channel. From 1/4/2009 Colours was withdrawn from free channels and they are charging Rs 25/- per month.
                                    SunDirect company is cheating the customer by advertising something else and not providing the promosed service.
                                    Is there any regulator or Customer Interest protector in India who can protect interst on customer and protect the customer from such frauds?

                                    Sun direct is making fool to everybody. Myself Dr. John from mumbai taken sun direct at my native place dewas ( madhya pradesh)so that i can see shalome t.v.to get spritual blessings. after 2 months they have stopped shalome t.v.. This sun direct Director is not a spiritual person and playing with a God and Gods children. After reading this statement sun direct Director will delete my comments. Once more thanks to sun direct to making fool to customers.

                                      I am a new customer to sun direct. subscribe for the connection and got the connection immediately. whereas as soon as the technician left my home after installation, the signal is scrambled and there is no picture at all. when the technician leaving he personally got 100 extra saying in case of any problem we will come and rectify the issue. But even after calling so many times to the supplier. no one has turn to rectify the issue. i had a very bad experience with sun direct supplier.
                                      till date no one is bother to attend the complaint.

                                      i have given a complint to sun direct custmor care for 4 times .... that we are not getting channels from 5 days ..... they r not caring our complints ........... if they dont look our complints why to take it ......we can do it some where.
