I had recharged my smat card no.[protected] for Rs.150/- on Saturday (28/11/2009) and requested an activation of Neo Package immediately. The request was accepted and confirmed on phone that the channel will be activated within 2 hours. In spite of repeated calls to the SUN DTH as of now (30/11/2009) the channel was not activated. I would like to know whether SUN DTH will give an extention for the loss of two days because my account was deducted for Rs.46/- from saturday and the channel is not operative. I had already made 15/20 tele calls with sun dth and getting the same answer that the channel will be activated within 2 hours. Who will be held responsible for this?

    I'm facing problem with my sun direct connection from saturday. I'm getting a error msg, E50-32 SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE.
    Though I called many times, problem is not rectified. Very poor response. When I call customer care, they gave skyline enterprises where I purchased and they are no more with sun direct now. His number is not existing now. They didn't come up to support the customer.

    I've got a sun direct office number on monday and contacted Mr. Rafee and Mr. Suman. Though they were trying to rectify the problem, they couldn't.

    Every one is pointing one and another. Since the dealer from whom I purchased my set top box and dish has been terminated by sun direct, other dealer is not ready to help me.

    This has created very bad feeling on sun direct and my friends are also afraid to take the connection.

    Overall, very bad response from Sun Direct.

    People!! If you are thinking of getting a new connection, never go for sundirect.
    It will be cheap. But if you face any issue, its gone case.. all you can do is get one more connection..

    I purchased my Sun connection in 2009. My set up box is not functioning and my TV is total blank.and when I rang customer care on Tuesday they said they will resolve on wednesday. I made many phones and on thursday when I rang up they said they got mandate to resolve the complaiant within 48 hours and still 2 hours are left and they will repair before the time. Afterwards many 48 hours are over still the problem persist. I rang directly to Sun office and spoke to their technical team and they apolised and said they will send their person on that day itself and made set up box functional. It is over a week my set up box is dead and sun didnot bother to attend.
    In this one year I got problems three times and all the three times my experience is extremely bad. The dealer for Noida/Ghaziabad never lifts phone and never sends his person to repair. I think SUN AFTER SALES SERVICE IS WORST AND HOPELESS
    I FOUND SUN DIRECT WILL NOT ATTEND TO PROBLEMS AND MY PROBLEM IS NOT ATTENDED FOR THE LAST ONE WEEK. I THINK WE SHOULD TAKE TO THE PRESS AND TRAI AND SHOW WHAT IS CUSTOMER RESPONSE LIKE

      My smart card no. is [protected]. I am not getting any signal for the past few days. Ofcourse, it is rainy season but there is absolutely no signal and the display says " E48 no signal ". Is it problem for all? Does other DTH subscribers like Reliance, Airtel, Dish and Tata Sky subscribers have similar problems during Rainy/windy seasons?

      sudirect DTH telecost is not coming since last month they did't not care about this no official announcement from sundirect side. This is shame to sun tv management.They have web site also but all press realese is 2008 and 2009 no recent updates.

      Sun direct has changed the transponder and needs retunning . Even after several complaints to the call cente and their nodal officer no action is taken. Sun continues to charge the customer even when channels are not available . The dealer / seller knows nothing and is of no help . Nodal officer says that they are correcting PINCODE wise, when our turn will come no assurance .

      Call centre guys dont know to speak and is pathetic . Do they alteast give back the pre paid charges ?

      I had obtained SUNDIRECT on 16.09.2010 in the name of V BHUVANESWARI residing at No: 110, 3rd Cross
      I Main Road, Prakash Nagar, Bangalore - 560 021 with ID no:[protected] and I had made compliant
      no: [protected] regarding on reception of channals on 11.11.2010 and had also made repated reminders
      everyday so far I had not received any response.

      Some times in response the representative had ask for 72 hours time to rectify the problem. The reason given
      was that there are no technical person in their end to attend the problem. After the end of the 72nd hour the
      problem remain the same I dont know how many 72 hours they will take to rectify the problem. I think the
      people at Karnataka are interest in only selling the DTH and not interested in retaining the customers.

      Without any usage I am paying the money for the services of SUN DTH.

      Please rectify the problem as early as possible

      Sun Direct has moved to a new Satellite. When I switch on my TV, I am getting a message saying "We have moved to a new satellite. Hence your Dish needs to be retuned to the new satellite immediately. Service on this satellite will stop shortly. Our distributor/Dealer will do the Dish adjustment free of cost. To enjoy uninterrupted programs/Channels please contact your nearest dealer/distributor immediately."

      It’s been more than two and half month passed. Day by day the no. of channels I am viewing is reducing but every month Sun direct charging for the total channels. Apparently Sun direct charging for the services which are not actually provided to me. I am very frequently calling Sun direct customer care and complaining them to provide the full services. So far five service request has been raised to restore the services for me on priority. As per the customer care people my request has been transferred to the Technical department 2 days back. But nothing happened.

      Here I am loosing money in two ways.

      1. I am paying for the services which I am not getting from Sun direct
      2. I had to call Sun direct customer care very frequently to get the complete services.

      As this is the problem with service provider (Sun direct) why should customer suffer with that? They should have engaged adequate staff to restore the services. Otherwise they should not charge for the services which they are unable to provide.

      Since from last 3 month Sun direct mentally tortured me a lot. My family is also suffering a lot due to this. I have no patience to wait. I request you to kindly do the needful.

      Hello There, I'm Anil Jacob. I've requested Sun Direct to change my existing Step Top Box to HD on 27-09-13. The Ref # for the same is 1-[protected]. I have called them 6 times on[protected] and they haven't called me back once!!!

        there are one common problewm in sun dth. there basic pack like bangla shine pack . this pack problem

            Sir,

            I am Manesh. I am a customer of sun direct since 22-04-09. My smart card number is [protected]. I was a happy customer of sun direct till 22-10-09.

            I have recharged for Rs. 330/- on 22-09-09 from Planet Entertainments, Opposite Post Office, Kanippayur, Kunnamkulam. But my account expired on 22-10-09. when i enquired about this, they replied that there is a problem with the server at present and ask me to wait. I got the same reply for three days. Today I check my status online and found that on 22-09-09 only Rs. 110/- was credited into my account. After calling them several time, today at 5:07 P.M they recharged for Rs.100/- + Rs.25/-. Still now there is no signal and my account balance is Rs. -18/-. I hope that you understand the situation and kindly do the needful.

            For your proof I am attaching the bill for Rs.330.

            Today I have credited Rs. 210/- two times erroneously instead of once through net banking of Indian Overseas Bank
            But now I found from the balance of Sun Direct Account that there is Rs. 0.31balance. Kindly check the system and the two times credit of Rs. 210/- may be treated as two months subscription.

              Im a Sun Direct customer from Kerala.. Recently some of my neighbours took Big tv, Dish tv eyc.. Only after that I realised that I took a wrong decision by selecting Sun Direct.. In BIG TV, they are giving almost every Pay Channels like SONY,SET MAX,STAR PLUS,GOLD,STAR MOVIES,SAHARA FILMY,V CHANNEL,M TV and many other channels for just 130 per month. Also they provide all the other channels which are available in Sun Direct.

              They are not even including FREE TO AIR channels like ISAI ARUVI,KAIRALI PEOPLE,ZEE TAMIL etc which are avalable in all other DTH providers.. Sun Direct was famous for its variety of South Channels.. But now the real fact is that all the other DTH providers have more south channels in its Basic Pack.. Also the ADD ON packages are too costly when compared to others..

              When i contacted the Customer Care they gave me a commendable suggestion "BETTER U CAN CHOOSE ANY OTHER DTH SERVICE"..

              Sun Direct — Waste Service

              Sun Direct Website is such a crap.
              The options of recharge never works
              They are not able to maintain the customers and now I have noticed that the recharge coupons stores have also been closed. Sun Direct DTH is such a pathetic network which never cares for their customers.
              Talking about the care for their customers, their customer service is the worst I have ever seen
              Customer service most times do not know what they are talking about, and if we press for answers they just disconnect the call.

              I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO GO FOR SUN DIRECT DTH

                on 10/2/10 sundirect recharged for rs 300/- thourgh online mode through credit card the transaction is successful and the trransaction no 3539499 and till now the connection is coming my smart card no [protected] please do the needful

                  it has been 15 days our card of dish tv is not working so we gave our card to the distributor i.e. "Shyam telecom" near d'lords, dudhia talao, navsari, gujarat. he took the monthly recharge amount from us and is not replacing the card. we went to his shop so many times but he is not even ready to respond.

                  i am very much fed up with sun direct TV people, need less to say, i have pasted on my door that "Ye company chor hai, isse koi bhi connection na kharide, iss company ke sare log chor hai,

                  detail matter is as below, i have already lodged my complaint to customer care but those people are diconnecting call every moment they listen if someone listened, they recommnd to contact with service agent ( Mr Manoj goel mob [protected]/Mr Dipak [protected] ), finally, we contacted them & come at my resi, ask to pay rs 200/- we paid them & those people removed my setup box, now there missing, we request U to board of director of this sun tv, Are they making fool to us & cheating customer, i have conducted drive in my sectors to remove all sun tv connection in next 10 days, my move will be continued till the sr person visit at my home,

                    The Sun Direct DTH is not working since 4th October 2009. I have made a complaint on 5.10,2009 and on 7.10.2009 The complaint No.,[protected]. Contactinf over phone daily after waiting for more than 15 minuites daily.. Everytime someone list the phone and says it will be restored within 2 hours..                     Sun Direct DTH — Not getting the picture since 4th October 2009

                    I have purchased the Sundirect DTH from Mrs Aditya Electronics Perambur Chennnai 600011 during Augusat 2009. It is not working ie I am not getting the picture since 4.10.2009. I have made the complaint on 5th October 2009. The conmplaint No.[protected]. They said it will be restored within 2 house. But nothing happened. Again I made complaint on 7.10.2009 The same complaint was repeated. Nothing happend so far>whenever i contact after waiting 15 minutes on the telephone line they say that it will be resumed 2 or 3 hours. Every time they took the phone somebody lift the phone viz Seetha Kousalya like that I have sepnt so far nearly 15 to 20 rs sepnd for the telephone. But noting hhappend so far. I am not able to see the picture even the Deepaveli festival. What is the use in spening nearly 1700 to get the SunDirect connection and wasting my telephone calls and mental agony. The error is deplayed on the TV is E16-4 the service is currently scrambled. I have been repeating my history everytime viz name telephone no., smart card noi address etc. The smart card No,[protected]R.                     I have purchased the Sundirect DTH from Aditya Electronis Perambur Chennai 600 011 during Aug 2009 I am not getting any channel since 4.10.2009 I have been making my complaint over phone everyday after wasting 20 minutes on the telephone.                       Dear Sir,

                      I am user of Sun Direct DTH with SMART Card No. [protected]. Today morning it got disconnected automatically. I called up the Sun Direct Customer Care Service but their Service is very worst.

                      Tried to contact customer care service through Phone[protected] But there is Initial IVR voice after that No feedabck about account balance & no executive for answering the customers calls. Finally call disconnected automatically. It is happening everytime & for all.

                      Tried one more local No[protected] as mentioned in brochure & there also no proper response & answers. Simply they disconnected calls. Atlast, the customer service personnel gave the following numbers to get the recharge coupon available.
                      1. [protected]
                      2. [protected]
                      3. [protected]
                      4. [protected]
                      5. [protected]

                      Also, they gave the Rajajinagar Distributor Number, if you dial up you will get the number is not available. These Sun Direct Company is cheating everybody by selling the DTH Set Top Box without giving proper service to the customer. Also, they do not have proper office registered in the particular location.

                      Requesting you to sue the SunDirect Company and take the action against the Director and the Chairman for starting such a useless company and troubling people in all aspects.

                      Mohan, i hope you are a normal person, But how can you say SUN DIRECT is good, THEY ARE VERY VERY VERY WORST DTH Service Provider, Please avoid Sun Direct
                      They are the very worst DTH service providers in INDIA. you will never reach their customer service.
                      You will not be able to renew your subscription.
                      Please BAN this service at it's earliest.

                        I have tried reaching the Sun direct Distributor Mr.Himayat Reddy at his Attapur office for correcting the signal problem of my cable TV.As he have not given any reply, I have booked a complaint at the customer care of Sun direct wide the complaint No [protected]/18.09.2009.After 3 day distributor collected the set box ,assuring to give the box back with in 3 days.As he have not provided in time once again i called the customer care (Mr.Santosh Kumar,Hyderabad)to log in a complaint.But the customer care is not ready log in the complaint again.Even they are asking to pay the rent for those days i have not really used the connection because of improper service of the distributor.

                          On 24-09-09, from about 07-00 PM onwards, the setup box was not working. We contacted SunDirect Customer Care through their Telephone No. 39407575. After around 20 minutes of verification a complaint No [protected] was provided and we were assured it will set alright within 48 hrs and some one will call at our residence. As nothing happened till 02-15 PM on 25-09-09, we again contacted the same no. This time it took around 30 minutes of teletime.Again the same assurance. At 05-45 PM on 26-09-09, again we contacted the same Customer Care. This time, after about 20 minutes of teletime, we were assured some one will come to our residence to set the matter alright within 2 to 12 hrs!!! I sent an E-Mail in the meantime, at 06-36 PM to the Nodal Officer, Sun Direct TV, Kottivakkam, Chennai explaining in detail and requesting him to use his good offices.As everything remained the same, we contacted Customer care once again on 17-09-09 at around 10-30 AM.Same 30 to 40 minutes of teletime and at the end they asked us to contact the Distributor. When we telephoned to the Distributor, there was no reply. I tried to speak to the Nodal officer. The no. given in their offficial site is[protected], which when tried, I get a voice saying that no is not in use.What a harassment? Can the concerned official look into this and rectify the fault in our SunDirect system without any further harassment?

                              I had the sundirect connection from 7 months back 5 months free subscription package(east sunshine basis pack), but when my subscription over they deactivate my account as, when i have the connection they fix it after 7 days.but when my package is over i want to recharge thro debit card on dt-14.08.2009, but when i call the customer care on that day on 11.30 pm the higher authority told me not to fix ur problem as the service is from 6 am to 6 pm, i was told him then why u open the cust care on nigaht he annoy with me and told me not to rechage the coupon & contact the nearest distrubuton on next day morning & recharge the coupon. I had recharge 1300/-, also the same plan continue but at the same time i take the music add on pack & new mercury pack for one month, but the thing is i have no time to check this, the add on pack not for one month as the money show in the sundirect account they not deactivated it auto matically& every month they deduct it for this before the expiry date of my add on pack i deactivated it and promise me not take any addon pack that the sundirect provide.as i am also the user of BIG TV, but their rechage facility is as good as tatasky.but the worst recharge pack the sundirect give.

                              in my opinion as the reception is good in the rainy whether wise i throw the same.

                              my suggestion to the all india marketint team is:
                              1-educate the cust care peple
                              2- have the review meating the regularly after the sales service.

                              Dear sir I am very sorry to tell you that the sundirect DTH is the worst worst service provider in the banglore city.They are not bothered about custmores.Whenever i call the exicutive's mobile that is swithed OFF. Last one week i am not able to watch none of the programs.So pls do the needful.

                                Sun Direct — cannot recharge

                                how does the damn sun direct dth recharges i bought a recharge card & tried to recharge online but no response in my set top box the mistake is made by me is buying the sun direct

                                Coolpad2938 handsets from Reliance India Mobile. — No aftersales service.

                                I had purchased a coolpad 2938 handset on 05.Jul.09 from Relaince Web
                                World at thakur Complex.
                                As Emails coudn't be sent/received in subject handset
                                i brought the same to the notice of coolpad sales representative.
                                He inturn spoke to his seniors who had asked to get in touch with
                                Reliance customer care at *333.

                                Again on several occasions i contacted reliance customer care.
                                To my utter surprise customer care professionals kept on telling
                                that Coolpad2938 handsets are not sold in Reliance Webworld outlets.

                                Afterwards i had written to customer care with all details. Again i received the
                                same answer.

                                Then i sent scanned copy of invoice copy, for which they had replied
                                problem will resolved within days.

                                But nothing has been done afterwards. Every time a mail is sent standard
                                reply will be recieved saying proble will be resolved within two days.

                                It's really frustarting and disgusting to purchase a sub standard product after
                                paying Rs12500/- with no service back up from a company like Reliance.

                                Please escalate the same to highest level.

                                Reliance — COOLPAD 2938 ISSUE WITH DISPLAY

                                I hv bought coolpad 2938 from reliance web shop ( Borivali west- mumbai) end of may.
                                Within 2 months display has gone bad and has developed internal crack. I hv reported the issue
                                with service centre and reliance web shop but no solution has been provided till date.

                                THEY DO NOT HAVE DISPLAY OR ANY SPARES REQUIRED FOR THE COOLPAD
                                IN INDIA. SO PLEASE I RECOMMEND NOT TO BUY ANY COOL PAD MODEL FROM
                                RELIANCE SINCE THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY SERVICE BACKUP AFTER SALES.
                                The support is very very very bad. So i recommend not lose money in buying the same.,

                                I hv enquried with service centre , they told me that they have 5 hand sets still lying with them
                                for reparis. Hence coolpad hand sets are not reliable for long term.
                                Sun direct in Delhi is just direct "sun watching" and nothing else..., For last 4 days i have been trying to get a re activation card, oops n then when i finally managed to activate it through online, ...2 days passed after activation, 5 calls to the customer care personnels..., its still "technical problem" what they call it, please guys think 100 times before opting for sun TV dth, worst service providers, worst dealers and worst consumer care response

                                I got COOLPAD 2938 for 12k and made the greatest blunder. It proved to be complete waste of money. COOLPAD 2938 is another worst mobile handset release by reliance.

                                This has the worst camera, no flash.
                                Does not support gif for wallpapers.
                                Does not most of the video formats, even the most cheapest handset of GSM would play.
                                Navigation is very bad.
                                Attracts lots of dirt.

                                I recommend every one to shift to any other serivce rather than buying cheap, low quality and worthly less handsets provided by the Reliance Mobiles.

                                I was happy with Samsung SLIM and Nokia 6275 and both are now not avaiable.

Still it has not been returned and i went to the service vendor thrice and called them more than times and they didnt respond to me properly. Hence i gave complaint on them to Sun Direct helpdesk on 12th Dec. Also Sun Direct helpdesk seems to be delaying in this. Still now i didnt get the settop box. Hence i am posting this online. Please do the needful asap.
                                Also i have done the recharge on 27th Nov from when the problem started and my amount is wasted without being utilised. 20 days passed after i recharged the account.

                                    It will award for worst csutomer service if competition is arranged. There is no mechanism in India to punish such business establishment . There are ill informed common man who easily trapped in the offers that are given whithout confirming the credentials of the company about the customer care I have advised to all my friend not to go for this DTH I am too suffering and repenting for buying .

                                      I had taken a Sun Direct DTH at my residence. The Plan is TAMIL BASIC and I was receiving the Channel SUNTV ( channel no.100) till last week. Suddenly this channel 100 went missiing. When I contacted the customer service, Ii was informed that they have changed the terms and now it will be availbale only if I change the Plan and pay more. This is CHEATING and BREACH OF CONTRACT to do this half way through the validity of the prepaid period.
