I am a Sundirect customer in Bangalore. I wanted to recharge my account:
1) The recharge through netbanking URL in the sundirect website does not work!
2) The local sundirect dealers do not have the appropriate recharge cards.
3) I was thus forced to you use OXIGEN service-
After I bought the recharge PINs, when I try to call the 24x7 customer care number[protected], all I get is "all lines to this number are busy". I have been trying this from 7:30pm of 12-Mar-2010 to 5:30pm of 13-Mar-2010 without any luck.
I sent a message through the online feedback tool in sundirect website, but I ve not received any confirmation or response so far!
4) As a last resort, I called the nodal officer's number listed in the website[protected]. This is now changed, and the new number is 25327272. When I called this number at 9:30am on 13-Mar, I was asked to call after 10:00am. When I called at 10:30am, I was connected to another number, and the ring went on for 5 minutes and I didnt get any response! When I called 25327272 again to see what the problem was, nobody answered the call. When I kept trying, some one picked the call, and just redirected to the same number, and again I had no response.
In the evening at exactly 5:15pm, a person addressed himself as Chandru, answered the phone. I told him about my problem, the futility in getting connected to the "internal sundirect" number, and asked him if there is an alternate way to reach somebody. He rudely told me that sundirect is not his concern, and that I am "free to walk down to the office" and see what I can do!! He refused to help out or give any other details. He even refused to tell me from which department he is, or is name, and told me that this is no way is problem, and his behaviour was rude and uncalled for.
I had spent close to 24 hours in just getting a simple recharge done, and have been subjected to a great amount of stress and waste of time and money over the phone.
