Stupid Customer service...,
they make us fools really..,
They told earlier that we have to pay 100 Rs per month then 75 will be monthly subscription and balance 25 ll be credited to our balance&v can use tat amount after some times..,
But now the topup for 1 month itself 110Rs & even 1 Rs is not credited to our balance..,
Total 110 rs s for 1month..
Now lot of channels r Getback (makkal, NatGeo..,)
So please don't buy this..,

my smart card no is [protected]R i used to give complaint from last one month. Every time i used to give complaint in customer care they promise us that within 2 hrs a technician will contact us but still day not even a single technician contact us. I also met the shope person from i purchased this fraud DTH he visited my house after promising him to pay rs 200 but he managed to watch only DD channels. From next day he also stopped to attend our phone calls[[protected]]. What a fraud company is Sun Direct it don't have any connection between customer care to dealer or distributor or between any technician. Just a vagabond type service good for nothing. One of the fraudest service in INDIA.

    Dear Sir,

    I have a Sun Direct Connection. I have some issues with the service provider which they are not ready to solve it:
    1. I had recharged my account by filling my smart Card No [protected] with some amount. After the that the specified amount was deducted from the account and around Rs 150 was left in the account. I thought o[censored]sing the same for some add on packages or for next year renewals.

    In the mean while I wanted a pluto package for one month which costs 27 per month. I called the customer care to activate the same for one month and the same was activated. After 2 months I got a doubt as how the channel is still coming and called the customer care. As per the customer care the same had been renewed every month from their side without intimating me.
    I have registered a protest with the complain nos of [protected] and [protected] on last week of March 2010.

    I had also registered the claim through the website of Sun, but strangely they don't provide compain number nor a mail is sent to the mail id.

    2. The login in the sun direct web doen't work which do not allow the customer to review the balance in their account.

    I, Rama Dhamodaran have purchased Sun direct DTH at Idappadi, salem district (P[protected] - Card No: [protected]) during the sept, 2012 . Till now i am not facing problem. They have changed my regular package and changed my plan to cinema plus without my knowledge for which i am not interested. We were availing the teluge channels in previous version, which is not avaialble in the present package plan. rechargAll of sudden Kindly restore the previous version, what i was availang earlier. This time recharge was done on[protected] at 10.28 AM for one year top up at Idappadi Dealer (Modern TV Centre - Mobile [protected]). Hope your speedy and early action in this regard.

      paid advance Rs.500/- on 20.03.10 to buy sun direct in sri sai enterprises, located in sultanpalya main road. on 21.03.10 i paid full amount & got my recharge card ie.one year plan smart card no-[protected] primary language is Tamil. shop owner said that they will come immediately to give connection on Sunday. but i called more than 10 times for giving connection. at last he came by 7 pm for giving connection. his name is Srinivasan - Mob # [protected]. that time only they informed that we have to submit id proof any way i managed and submitted proof. after that he told, forgotten to bring 2 battery's ,so he requested to give battery's and said next day to collect battery from his shop then he asked Rs.50/- for activation charge. i told him clearly i won't give activation charges. then he took our recharge card along with him for activation. he din not gave delivery challan for me. he himself made change in optional language - Malayalam. so many Tamil channels were scrambled. next day i went to his shop waited more than 11/2 hrs but no response. i called him more than 150 times. he did not picked his mobile. then i went to his home and waited in street around 10 pm. when he came to home he did not returned battery we don't know our recharge card number and the way he and his wife talked and treated very badly.

      then i called to sun direct customer care to activate tamil language . immediately i got proper response from Mr.Guna , activated tamil language.

      just for Rs.50/- and for two battery see how they are treating customers by wrongly activating languages etc...

      so please take necessary action on such kind of person 's to satisfy customer

      otherwise they will spoil Sun direct name


      so please take necessary action as soon as possible

      One of the very poor customer care I ever seen in my life… 30 to 45 minutes to connect a call… if connected the quality of customer care agent is very very pathetic… they don’t know how to do customer care and how to do their basic jobs like activating a channel… even they used to disconnect calls without informing us… If somebody ask you for feedback about Sundirect please don’t recommend to go for this….(if they like to activate a channel worth RS 35 they need to spend 70RS from their phone!!!) Really very bad service!!!
      May be experienced by some, absolutely am fine with the services.Got new offers and packages, not even once i had experienced poor quality of their service.

        Hello,

        I have a Sundirect connection in my wife's name. The TV reception and picture quality etc is OK. But to recharge, you have to go to their office. The online recharge system is a dummy. This is the only site where I have not been able to make a single successful transaction.

        WARNING: One of their recharge options is through their associate site Rechargeitnow.com. It is based in Gurgaon. I tried to recharge for Rs.500/- through this site (redirected from SUNDIRECT site). The amount was debited from my credit card. But my DTH was never recharged. When I called up SUNDIRECT customer care, they act as if they don't understand. And add to it each time the repeated identification using PINCODE, mobile number, address etc. I was not sure whether I should laugh or cry. Since we are caught up in the hectic work commute cycle, have'nt bothered to take up with consumer courts etc.

        I am changing to TATA SKY which will be more transparent, hopefully.

          I have given Sun Distributor advance money Rs.4700/- for 10 months recharge of Basic Pack(Rs2175) and other extra channels (Rs.2290+235 tax) total of Rs.4700. He had only recharged Basic pack and other channels for only 4 months. Now my other channels are not coming inspite 6 months left (Rs.1600/- still with the distributor. Daily I am doing follow-up with him and Sun TV customer care but no response from their end. I am really disappointed.

            My name is Himanshu Ojha & I got Sun direct DTH installed on Friday, 26-Mar-10. I opted for Hindi Basic & Murcury plus package & paid the distributor an amount of Rs 2100 upfront for four months.

            I was told that hindi basic is on & it will take one hour for add on package to be on. (This was told on Friday, 26-Mar-10 evening). Today is Monday, 29-Mar-10 & it has still not been on. In fact, th basic package has also stopped & nothing is coming on TV.

            I have been calling distributor for three days but he is ignoring my calls. Today over phone he informed me that I will not get murcury plus as I need to pay extra for that. He has not even given me the receipt for my payment.

            I am harrased & have no other option to go to consumer court.

            The details of distributor is -

            Three days have gone waste. I want my money back OR they should be ready for legal action.

            I got a Specil offer on sundirect DTH for more than 120 days deactive customers, for 1 [protected]@999/-.I paid Rs.1100/-(incuding tax) but i was activated in different plan when i am communicating to your costomer care they are not responding, please do the need full, details given below,

              Sun Direct — Sun Direct Dish TV not working

              On 16/09/2009 after rains my Sun Direct is not working for me. My Sundirect number is[protected] R. The set box number is C[protected]. I called Sun direct customer care and informed them of the problem they said I need to contact the distributor MST Enterprises who sold this settop and dish. But I was not able to contact the distributor. Again I called sundirect 16/09/2009 they said with 24 hours the distributor will call me. But after 48 hours still I've not received the call. Today 18/09/2009, I called the customer care they said they cannot do anything. The mobile no[protected] they gave is being cut everytime a call is made. The landline 6461 2335 is a invalid number. I've paid one year fees for the connections and subscription, but I'm being fleeced. Please advise.

                Dear Sir,

                Please add Qtv and Peace Tv on Big TV, Tata Sky, DD direct, Sun DTH and videocon DTH immediately as we are missing these two channels very much. When there are religious channels for other communities then why not islamic channels for muslims? Is is being done deliberately. If yes, then we need to think of going to consumer court or approach the I & B ministry and Ministry of Minority affairs for lack of freedom of expression or thought. If you cannot provide these channels then please remove all the religious channels from all DTH services. There should not be any partiality.

                Hope this will be taken care of immediately.

                Please add peace TV and Q TV in Big TV, Tata SKY, sun DTH, DD Direct etc, as the programmes in these channels are very nice and religious. Muslims are very particularly about these channels. Please kindly add these channels.

                  Hi,
                  I am Amanullah customer of Sun direct DTH vide Smart card no [protected] R I have been facing a problem ' no signal' since one month. I am not getting any channels on my TV. I contacted customer care.But no proper response from them.

                  Hello, I am Chalasani Sanjay just relocated from Gujrat to Rajamundry from last 10 days I have been trying to change my Sun service from hindi to telugu basic and made numerous calls to all call centres of sun from chennai customer care to ahmedabad and rajamundry also includes hyderabad, but no turn out towards my complaint all customer care executives trying to throw the problem on other regional call executives but no one was pleased enough to talk polietly and take initative to sourght out the problem.Finally I felt it is better to opt for cable channels since wherever we go we have the facility to get a cable connection at those places these DTH service are big head ache to carry to different places particularly with sun, our Rajumundry sun personnel was quick enough to come and fix the four bolts and disc to take away Rs 250 as service charge but when I went to their office they were not even intrested to listen my problem and find solutions they are only intrested in extracting money, Finally the worst service I have ever experienced in my life.For further enquiry my smart card no is [protected]R

                  Sun Direct DTH TV — Not getting Channels

                  I have taken a DTH service from Sun Direct about 3months back wth smart card number[protected]. Since 2weeks I am getting the channels. Made number of calls to the customer service without any use. The nodal officer of AP has not answered the phone calls and the emails. Such is the service of the so called TUN TANA TUN Sun Direct. Let this be eye opener for those who intend to take SUN direct. So long as no trouble OK. If any problem comes God only has to help.
                  Thereis mistake to be ammended . Since 2 weeks NOT getting channels.

                    Makkal TV - is free to air

                    We can get this channel with all cable operators in Tamil Nadu as well as from DD DTH as it is free to air.

                    From last week onwards after updation of software, SUN DTH withdrawn MAKKAL TV a free to air Tamil Channel.

                    People can miss the following:

                    A pure tamil speaking channel.

                    Lot of live prgms.

                    Where we can recall all old / school age tamil proverbs.

                    Daily afternoon 2pm to 3 pm - "market" where we can sell or buy

                    Only Tamil channel in india - with out Tamil film songs / jokes / filims


                    Will Sun Dth officials will consider to include this again?

                    Mr.Srinivasan Pls ask u r area SUN DTH Technician to rescan all the channels and ask him to position the Dish correctly. I too faced the same problem but when the SUN DTH Technician changed the dish direction and rescanned all the channels, we started recieving all the channels including Makkal.

                      We have tried for searching signals upto 1 month, but not yet getting any solutions. So we trying to SUN DIRECT customer care number, but they did not catched our calls. What we've to do?
                      i have disconnected sundirect for the past 15 months due to +2 exam. now i have recharged rs.110
                      on16.03.2010. but i did not get the signal. so please check it.
                      Yes. We got connection on the April 2010, Not one day passes calling them for not getting signals. It is almost 15 days and nobody cares to attend to the problem. That is why they are giving free subscription for 3 /4 months. Very poor service

                        I am the customer of Sun DTH but the service of the DTH during rainy season is very poor. All the channels just wash up and the screen just show an error. From the last 10 days my DTH is not working properly only one channel i.e. Zee TV only is coming all the other channels have been disappears i don't what the reason behind but i just want to add further that during the rainy or heavy wind season the channels the DTH does not work properly.

                          No Signal for several days

                          The Sun Direct has launched new HD service today but Sun Direct DTH is not working,many do not get Signal for last several days in Andra,the signal received is less than 50%.No response to email complaints,the customer care no[protected] is disconnected and Andra nodal officer is not answering calls.We doubt whether Sun DTH has closed company and formed new HD servcie or not.But How can we trust in Sun which cannot serve DTH customers properly...

                          I tried to top-up my sun direct account through the website www.rechargeitnow.com on 15/03/2010 of Rs.200. The same money was debited from my bank account but topup was not done. I tried to contact the website coustomer care persons but there was no contact number given on the site they only have a complaint form on which i tried to contact them but all in vain. After a day again i sent an email but in return they send a conformation email of receiving request. No visible action is being done from rechargeitnow or sundirect.

                          I am in a complete mess. Matter is not about money but they are cheating people and we are helpless.
                          Once again i would like to alert all online users not to use this website.they are a bunch of crooks.
                          I can not activate my 25 rupee card for last 6 days
                          i recharge Rs25 sundirect recharge in my account but set max channel is not available please rectifive my problem my card number [protected]

                          I TRIED TO RECHARGE MY ACCOUNT VIA ONLINE USING 110 RUPEES MONTHLY RECHARGE VOUCHER AND IT IS CREDITED IN MY ACCOUNT., BUT I AM NOT GETTING CHANNELS IN MY TV ...I HAVE BEEN KEEPING IN CHANNEL NO 102..SINCE I RECHARGE ...                             Sir,
                            I have been using SunDirect network for the last two years and for the last one week I am not getting Basic Signal from the service provider but I am getting add on channels. I called somany times to the call centre and person incharge but they say that every thing is OK with my connection. But I am not getting signals though I paid my subscription till 10th of April this year.Nobody is taking interest towards my problem and I also lodged complaint in their network through email twice.All affort are invained to get my signal connected.

                              I am a Sundirect customer in Bangalore. I wanted to recharge my account:

                              1) The recharge through netbanking URL in the sundirect website does not work!
                              2) The local sundirect dealers do not have the appropriate recharge cards.
                              3) I was thus forced to you use OXIGEN service-
                              After I bought the recharge PINs, when I try to call the 24x7 customer care number[protected], all I get is "all lines to this number are busy". I have been trying this from 7:30pm of 12-Mar-2010 to 5:30pm of 13-Mar-2010 without any luck.
                              I sent a message through the online feedback tool in sundirect website, but I ve not received any confirmation or response so far!
                              4) As a last resort, I called the nodal officer's number listed in the website[protected]. This is now changed, and the new number is 25327272. When I called this number at 9:30am on 13-Mar, I was asked to call after 10:00am. When I called at 10:30am, I was connected to another number, and the ring went on for 5 minutes and I didnt get any response! When I called 25327272 again to see what the problem was, nobody answered the call. When I kept trying, some one picked the call, and just redirected to the same number, and again I had no response.

                              In the evening at exactly 5:15pm, a person addressed himself as Chandru, answered the phone. I told him about my problem, the futility in getting connected to the "internal sundirect" number, and asked him if there is an alternate way to reach somebody. He rudely told me that sundirect is not his concern, and that I am "free to walk down to the office" and see what I can do!! He refused to help out or give any other details. He even refused to tell me from which department he is, or is name, and told me that this is no way is problem, and his behaviour was rude and uncalled for.


                              I had spent close to 24 hours in just getting a simple recharge done, and have been subjected to a great amount of stress and waste of time and money over the phone.

                              My dear friend I a m very much sure what was the problem and me too had same serious problem but i never got the customer care line just it was busy for ever more than 15 minitues OMG what a service i think we are in long long que how pathetic and pain with such tired of this only white cheaters sorry collective action might take correct action against these dirty service provider only big advertisement and gimmicks just get the money and forget sorry again

                              Sun Direct DTH — NO RESPONSE/NO FEEDBACK

                              no service availabe even lodging many complaint with customer care
                              chnnels are not available, complained many time with customer care.
                              nobody is attending the complaint as per comitment while lodging the complaint

                              The dealers are not attending the phone/disconnecting the phone. From the date of Installation I called the customer care and dealer for the missing 02 channels and response given was satellite problem but after solving the satlite problem I am facing the same. Response from customer care is not appreciatable. please do some thing as soon as possible or stop the sundirect dth and dont cheat the customers.
                              YOU ARE RIGHT. I ALSO SUFFERING. I HAVE MADE LOT OF COMPLAINTS MANY TIMES. MY COMPLAINT NOS ARE-[protected], [protected], [protected].
                              I am facing the same issue for the past 6 weeks. Initially they gave some local distrubutors numbers, who either doesn't exists or they don't support. Logged 5 complaints in the last 4 weeks with customer support center and everytime i call them, they say that we are logging a complaint and it will be resolved in 48 hrs.Now i am not getting most of the channels. Horrible customer service.
                              it is much worse in my case, i have been calling sun direct callcentre and lodged a complaint on 19 nov2010 for the re alignment of the dish, till today no one responded and done the work. whenever I call them the same answer " it will certainly done in two days ".

                                I tried to purchase add on for set max channel in sun direct. But their recharge method is very cumber some, time consuming and MONEY EATING methods.

                                Setmax add on card charge is 20Rs per month. I purchased 25 Rs recharge coupon and tried to recharge. I was not able to contact the customer care. It was busy thorough out the day. Even if connected, an automated message asks us to wait for 20 minutes. To activate a 20 Rs channel you have to spend more than 20Rs. If you want to the activation through sms, you have to spend 2Rs per sms. If you are unaware of the exact procedure, you have to send a minimum of 4 sms to understand what is happening.[Another 8 Rs gone].

                                Even after recharging through internet and confirming the balance thorugh sms, channel is not activated, it says insufficient balance [A pure cheating]. So I purchased another 25Rs coupon and recharged through internet from sundirect.in site. It says the pin number is wrong and try with another one.

                                To activate a 20 Rs channel so far I have spent around 74 Rs [apart from computer and internet usage]. Till now I am not able to confirm whether the money I spent is sufficient to activate the channel or not. As of now, I am not getting the channel.

                                I felt like being cheated by SubDirect. I WILL NEVER RECHARGE SUNDIRECT. AFTER THE CURRENT VALIDITY IS OVER, I WILL CHANGE TO SOME OTHER BETTER SERVICE PROVIDER.

                                I REQUEST THE CONSUMERS TO UNDERSTAND THE WAY SUNDIRECT IS CHEATING AND ROBBING ITS CUSTOMERS. Slowly they discontinued the free channels and made them as paid channel. Then they are making extra money in the recharge methods. You cannot complaint to them because it is almost impossible to reach their support.

                                IF YOU WANT A RECHARGE WITHOUT HASTLE, DO NOT TRY SUNDIRECT.

                                Can anybody suggest a good service provider who is not cheating the customers.

                                i was entering right smart card no and pin number the reply message is topup failure all the time what [censored] is this sun direct recharge method
                                we ware trying to set max from noon now 7.30 pm no response, let them run brothel to make money more than business

                                  My sundirect installation is very easy. But activation happened only after a day after too many phone calls. After one year, when I try to recharge the the account, i had bad experience. I don't know when my account expires. While watching a program, suddenly it went off. If they know when to disconnect a device, why can't they display a message about expiry date and time. TV goes blank in the middle of the program is too much irritating.

                                  I immediately purchased a recharge coupon, and followed sms recharge method (special charge for this sms). Nothing happened after hours. I tried to call up customer care. But phone is always busy or I got the route is busy message. Nearly after an hour, I was able to catch the support and informed about the recharge request. They informed me that even if I send recharge sms, I have to call support through phone to activate the device.(is it so?). It worked after an hour.

                                  Now I want to buy add on for set max (only for IPL). I have recharge coupon in hand. But even after hours , I am not able to catch the sundirect support. sundirect.in website looks too clumsy now and finding the information is very time consuming. [Till now I am not able to get the addon package code for set max]. I am trying their support for nearly 3 hours. Not able to catch them.

                                  If this is the kind of experience sundirect wants to give to its customers, I have to look for alternative soon.

                                    I wanted the IPL on SET max with the 1 year recharge offer. But no trace of channel whatsoever. I even took the set max ala carte channel recently..But still no trace of set max. Is this the way customers are treated? I dont mind paying that
                                    little extra for service. But even after paying so much for the
                                    services that I deserve, it very unfair on Sun Direct's [customer care dept]
                                    part.

                                    Last month, I took Mercury pack for watching the oscars, but it got
                                    activated after a shocking 8 hours of waiting!! Is this what you call
                                    advanced service from a company like Sun Direct?
                                    First thing is that they must have given the signal/ some kind of confirmation
                                    that I will get the channel once recharge has been done for 12
                                    months[it comes to exactly 1320 excluding taxes]. I have recharged my
                                    account on 10th march 2010 itself for an amount of 1500, but no trace
                                    of any service still. This is terrible.
                                    I guess Sun Direct needs to update all it's systems and servers to handle its more than 5 million customers.
                                    What ever has happened has happened. Now if I doesnt get the channel
                                    atleast for the Opening ceremony of IPL3, I am going to sue you in
                                    consumer forum as part of my basic right, and all in a fair manner
                                    unlike their shoddy unfair treatment.

                                    quit sundirect ...it has the worst cust care in dth services...you have made a big mistake in selecting dth...many problems with sd...go for videocon d2h ...very very good cust care and services all transactions transparent and quick...even for a mail they will call u for any query ...

                                      I am a new cusomer of Sun Direct and have been trying to login since morning, but keep on showing "problem loading page".

                                      Please try to rectify as soon as possible....
