My Self Pradeep Verma, I hold a policy for TATA AIG HEALTH CARE Plus from FEB'08. After one year for Health care plus policy number HCP[protected] renewal i got a call from noida, executive collect cheque number - 863119 amounted 1197/-with ICICI bank on 8-Feb-2009. After clearing on 16-04-09 from my account I call customer care that i doesn't receive any document from Company side, they provided a complaint number which is 5887848, but today is 12-may-2009 no document no call received from company side, for follow up i call customer care for 100 times Delhi, Mumbai and Noida a cheque collection team noida (Ritesh Kr-[protected],[protected].

One interesting thing is that in COMPANY database shows no cheque they receive from My side no renewal of my policy.

Mymcase is also the same.On dt.229.1.2009 I have sent one cheque No666211 o[censored]co.bank Mumbai to wards coverage of accident policy including several benifits.The cheque For Rs.3634/- was cleared on6.2.2009.But tilldate i have not received the policy. Ihave phoned to them but no response.And till to day the policy is unget.I am willing to proceed to consumer court.You may also .
where is your office at N O I DA situated . Please provide me the address. your site shows the adress at krishna apra plaza, but there is none of your office.

please se it urgently. I have to file a claim of death case.

    I was issued a mediclaim policy of TATA AIG from my bank HSBC due to my loyalty as a customer. They deducted first premium of Rs. 10 from my credit card on 14/05/09. Until today, i have not received my documents. I called up TATA AIG, but no response. Finally I decided to cancel this policy, but whenever you call TATA AIG, they would say that we need to transfer the call to department concerned and put the cal in that queue. Then you would never get the cancellation department online. I have tried this 5-6 times till now.Also, they promised me a callback from the cancellation department thrice committing it to be by end of that day... but again no callback.
    It shows TATA AIG is only interested in forcing the policy on customer after this no response from TATA AIG...

    Hello,

    I have Two mediclaim policy with private insurance company, they have rejected a claim. Since, I was not getting any response from the company on the argument, I want put forward against the reasons they had given for rejecting my claim,I wants complain with IRDA. I wants IRDA will investigate the claim again. It has been 3 months, and neither the company are responding to me.Is there a way can help me here? I feel since I had escalated matter to IRDA, they should investigate it properly with company , give me justice.

    Appreciate any help.

    Dear,

    Their is insurance ombudsman and griviance cell in each company, kindely esaclate the matter to them as well as to the IRDA on regular basis with reminders.Write them what ever u can write the more and more number of mails means result.And last option is consumer form.
    But ask them on what basis they have rejected your claim, read all the clauses mentioned in the welcome kit of your policy papers.

    LAST 10DAYS BACK I HAVE RECEIVED A CALL FROM MR. SWAPNEEL, FROM RAKSH TPA (THEY ARE PROVIDING I CARD IN FAVOUR OF TATA AIG CO.)AND SAYING THAT THEY ARE COLLECTING THE ORIGINAL I CARD FROM COURIER COMPANY ACCORDINGLY INFORMED TO ME .BUT TILL THIS DATE NO CALL/INFOMRATION RECEIVED FROM THEM.

    Tata Aig - India Ideas — Did not get the policy documents till now in 2 months

    I have taken this mediclaim policy from your call center in Bombay for a amount of 4086 to be payed in 6 EMI of Rs 681 each.

    Please note this I took some one a half to two months back but till date I have't rcvd any policy documents as such and now the EMI hv started and I am paying this EMIs.

    I feel I have been cheated...pls seriously look into this and help me - thanks.

    Even I didnt receive any documents from TATA AIG regarding this policy and 6 EMI started and finished...inspite of many complains from me, i've not received any documents but the EMI kept on deducting money from my account...i lost around 7000 rupees...these guys are really cheating us..in the name of false policies...some serious actions must be taken against them..really...so sick of these guys.

    Tata Aig Sales Person given Wrong Detail and Policy Provided that all defferent with phone call.

    Premium Paid 2312/- dated :19/01/2011 as per sales tally caller they have informed me that this is complete medical health insurance policy , So have make payment by credit card to them after 40 day I get the policy and read the instruction that they have mention all right and benefit are deferent , this is not health insurance , it was only reimbursement plan. so Have return the policy By Courier and request to them give back the money , But till today they have not taken any action about refund , Neither Contact us for further procedure

    sir,
    one of my close relative expired on 26/10/2012 due to cirrhosis of liver. He was hospitalized from 20/10/2012 to 26/10/2012. He was mediclaim policy holder of Tata AIG (policy no 00HC[protected] ) which was issued through HSBC for the period 13/02/2012 to 12/02/2013. Now his dependents want the reimbursement of hospitalization expenses. please let us know the procedure for the same at the earliest. Where we will get the application form and what other documents we will have to submit along with the form? Please let us know the above information at the earliest. we stay at Kandivali.

      This is Ashish Chauhan. I have Maharaksha policy from TATA AIG group. (Policy number:MRP-[protected])

      This policy was to expire in December 2008 ... I received a call from TATA AIG representative from Bombay requesting a renewal of this policy and even with his constant attempts of cajoling I said no. The premium EMIs were not charged after december 2008 So I thought that thet have not renewed the policy so no EMIs . But in March 2009 my HSBC credit card statement again shows a payment made to TATA AIG General Insurance, I reported this to their customer care and requested them to cancel the policy with immediate effect and they said " we will look into this and get back to you" This was on 22nd April 2009, two days later I receive a call from TATA AIG ..." I am a senior official from TATA AIG and refering to your request regarding cancellation, we will send you the cancellation papers within a week, stating your cancellation number and you can proceed further with that." It has been a month over now and I have not received any papers in that concern. Today when I called there customer care again.. Some Mr.Ahmed from cancellation team talks to me saying Its been over 5-6 months since the policy is going so it is not good to cancel it, else you have to pay around 87% of total policy premium as cancellation charges.

      I want to know :
      If the policy was renewed why have I not received the policy enewal papers till date?
      If the policy is going on for last 5-6 months how does my credit card statement show a payment to TATA AIG restarting only in MARCH and then second installment in April?
      And once one of their official says its being cancelled How come I has not been done till now?

      It is my sincere request to you all to look in to this matter and get my money refunded.

      Also as a feedback to HSBC people ... please stop making any alliance with such companies...

      I hope to see some action very soon..

      TATA AIG — Premium deducted even after a cancellation request made

      I hold a TATA AIG Policy - FSP[protected], which i took over a phone call on 19th of January 2009. But as I was told that, I can decide whether to keep it or not within one months time and only Rs. 10 will be deducted from my account. And I did the same of deciding not to keep it within that period and sent a mail to them asking to cancel my policy on 13th of February 2009. But despite of this they deducted the sum from my account. I later spoke to these guys on 23rd of February 2009 and was assured of the reimbursment of the deducted amount. But, as time passed on they didnt do anything, so I gave them a call again today on 17th of March 2009 but to my amazement they denied to do anything like it and after a bit of quarreling with them I managed to get it transferred to their some department and was assured that they will look into it and get things rolling out. But am not sure of anything now also.

      So could you please help me out.

      Hello Friends,

      Absolutely right. Tata Aig in association with HSBC Credit Card is cheating.

      I have taken tata-aig maharaksha policy last year with a annual premium of about rs 15000 which expired on 3/4 th March. I got a call from tata-aig regarding renewal of the policy which I did not want at all, so told him not to renew. His executive told me that just renew your policy and get it canceled within 14 days, we will refund all the amount we charge from your hsbc credit card and for cancellation of the policy you just have to sms with your policy number to 58888 and we will refund entire amount to your credit card.
      So they have renewed my policy with annual premium of rs 30000 this time.

      I have sent him sms 4 times on different days within 14 days but they did not cancel my policy.
      Then I contact with tata-aig customer care who says I can cancel your policy after deducting 25% (why? - even I contacted customer care within 14 days - they says there is no lookup period for renewal of policy).

      I have contacted hsbc bank customer care regarding same, but they are even not ready to listen my problem, They says just talk to tata-aig, if tata-aig refunds it will automatically reflected into your credit card a/c.

      This is not the end of story, HSBC bank has automatically converted this policy premium amount of rs 30000 into emi without my consent, A step ahead of Tata-aig in the process of cheating.

      Overall, Its my suggestion that never take any policy from TATA-AIG using your HSBC bank Credit Card as both are very good business partner and never miss a chance to cheat you and beware of his cheating.

        I had opeted for Tata AIG personal accident plan through HSBC call (policy for HSBC credit card holders)... The 2 months trial period was offered... I opted for plan... The Company has also deducted premium amount from credit card...

        However, now when I request them to cancel my policy..2-3 times the personnel took cancellation request, but no body turns up later...To the mail written by me (as below), no reply has been received from Tata AIG...

        This is sad and disgusting that corporates are not working in the healthy interets of the society...

          As per on telephonic call i was assured that we will sent you policy paper only after blocking the amount on your credit card and i[censored] are not interested in plan you can cancel by one phone call . only the processing amount will be chrged and rest amount will be credited back I paid the processing feeby cheque.
          They sent my wifes plan too.
          now i called the custmor care, they said you consult bombay office for cancellation as policy is from there.
          i am in delhi.

          what to do now as i am not interested in this plan

          I also agree with the above complaints. As I have also facing the problem with Health Care Policy of Tata AIG I have taken Health Care Policy with TATA AIG for my wife Mrs Suryakumari and paying monthly Instalment of Rs 721 through Credit Card but at the same time they have debited in Credit Card Rs 9047/- which is irregular and talked to their Rep. Mr Omkar and Mr Navdeep so far no action taken to reverse the entry of Rs 9047/- I feel consumer court only can solve problem

            Cancellation of Health Policy HCP02000014127

            On 27.03.2009 I received a call from TATA AIG, caller name Mr. Amit, for renewal of the Health Policy HCP[protected] in name of my wife Ms. Banani Sarkar. After a detail conversation I decided to convert the said policy into family policy, for my wife Ms. Banani Sarkar(32+), myself Prabir Kumar Sarkar(42+) and my son Master Swayambhu Sarkar(2+); for a premium of Rs.4669.00 and the payment will be made through credit card (CITI Bank) in 9...

            SUB:NON RECEIPT OF POLICY NO:[protected]
            I HAVE RENEWED MOTOR VEHICLE POLICY FROM TATA AIG BY PAYING CHEQUE ON[protected] AND HAVE RECEIVED THE RECEIPT/COVER NOTE NO.60233968. IT IS VERY SAD STATE OF AFAIRS WITH TATA AIG. INSPITE REPEATED REQUEST TO THEIR AGENT (MR. PRAVEEN, BANGALORE) & ALSO ON HELP LINE (MISS NEHA)FOR DESPATCHING THE INSURANCE CERTIFICATE WITHIN A WEEK OR SO, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED HE SAME AS YET( 3MONTHS/90 DAYS OVER !!!). ARE THEY NOT AWARE THAT IF THIS IS NOT PRODUCED TO TRAFFIC WE WILL BE FINED?. ALSO DONT THEY UNDER STAND THAT WE UNDER GO SO MUCH MENTAL AGONY. IF ENQUIRED TO THE AGENT/LOCAL OFFICE THEY REFER TO TOLL FREE NO. BUT ON ENQUIRY THEY WOULD ASSURE IT WILL BE SENT WITHIN 2 DAYS. REALLY SHAME ON THE CUSTOMER SERVICE.               This complaint is on the customer care executives, last year an executive from TATA AIG called and me and offered me Maharaksha policy and I was in need of such policy only to avail tax benefit from 80D. That time they said it come under that and to pay that they introduced me to HSBC card so that I can pay in instalments. As I don't have HSBC Credit card they helped me with an exeuctive who provided me the card. The HSBC card which they gave me was not free and it cost me 500/- INR as annual fee for which I wouldn't interest as there are many free credit cards. One important thing is they didn't mention me and I wasn't expect and didn't know untill year end after looking at bill when I enquire they said its annual charges I was shocked. I immediately canceled my card, this is unfair on Tata AIG's part.

              Second issue, this year again executive called me and offered me for renewal, I denied because this cannot come under 80D, but that executive by name Rajender told me that if I pay extra 700/- INR this policy can be covered under 80D and assured me and I believed his words and paid policy amount and the conversion additional charges he said I would receive a call within 7 days. It happend a month back and found I was cheated.

              I don't know what to do, for the first one, when I asked they said they have told me which is untrue and I don't have any proofs and for second one I know atleast person name. These two incidents calls came from Mumbai branch.

              I would request each and every person to be careful while talking to people.

                misguided me with the policy details

                I have taken 3 policies for my parents I registered
                complaint's several times regarding misguiding me about policy details
                on phone by ANSARI ZOHEB from mumbai branch. After receiving the
                policy i have forwaded many mails and called up several times but i
                din't get any response. I just want to cancel this policy and need my
                full payment back as m complaining from the day i got the policy. Waiting...

                  The due date of the Car Insurance Policy # [protected] was 10th Dec 08, the payment of which was made on 10th Dec 08 itself (supported by due receipt of Cheque)

                  The Cheque got realised on 22nd Dec 08, giving a corresponding debit to my account.

                  Despite of this the policy was shown to be in cancelled status till 24th Feb, which after several telephonic and email follow ups was revised with a fresh issued policy # [protected] 02 (Supported by a confirmation mail and soft copy of the policy from Tata AIG)

                  Car was submitted to the Fortune Cars Powai Service Station and a claim was lodged on 26th of Feb 08, upon getting a confirmation from Tata AIG, Fortune Cars have gone ahead and undertaken the repair work of approximately Rs 17, 000 (Confirmed Telephonically with Fortune Cars officials)

                  Till date the claim is lying outstanding despite of several telephonic and email followups, the standard answer received is though the policy is valid, it's still showing in cancelles status on account of some kind of system issue.

                  Fortune Cars is going to charge me with the parking charges amouning to approximately Rs 300 per day.

                    Wherein from above requirements I have submited the original RC and owners manual which was optional. But now still they have asked to submit me the tax receipt and original invoice.

                    So kinldy look into my complaint and settle my claim earilest and take necessary action against the company.

                      policy number [protected] in the name of CR Ramesh babu. This policy was to be renewed from 12.02.2009. Every day right from first week of Jan 2009, I used receive calls from Tata AIG requesting me to renew the policy. I must have received their calls atleast 50 times. The call used to come from one Mr Diwakar. Finally I succumed to the pressure and requested them to send an official with the best offer ( made very clear not to send any agent). One Mr Ramesh delivered the renewal notice and I have issued cheque favoring Tata AIG for Rs 5419/- on 05.02.2009 as per the cover note. I have received the acknowledgement and I hold the xerox copy. My account was debited on 11.02.2009. The official promised that I would receive the policy in 7 working days. I have not received the policy till the time of writing this letter( 26.02.2009). It has become my turn to speak to them every day. I have been speaking right from 13.02.2009. The officials I am speaking to are Mr Ramesh, Mr Prakash, Mr Naveen apart from the Board number all from Bangalore, Ms Sneha, Ms Sing, Ms Forum all from Tolfree number. Every time I get the line I have wait for ten minutes for them to answer me. I have to give deatails and wait for 10 minutes listening to tele music while they verify my information. Then I get a reply that the policy will be issued soon. Every time I request them to let me speak to some one who has authority to solve the issue, I get reply saying they are not supposed to tell the name of their superior and they can not give the contact number. This is purely harrassment. When I insist on speaking to higher official, I get a reply if I am not pleased with their reply I am at my liberty to do what I wish. This is double harrassment. Please some one help me to get the policy renewed or help me get the money back. Their promise to deliver policy within seven days time is broken. Is this not a deficiency of service. Do I have speak to the Chairman to get the problem solved?. Who is the correct official in Tata AIG. Why am I not getting the policy? My Complaint number 5877188.                       TATA AIG is the most flumcy organisation. Iwas also chased but a similar idot and I did also unfortunately went into their trap. I facing a much graver problem then you. Atleast for you, You did not get your policy for me policy was issued and cancelled without giving any intimation and when I met with a accident and applied for a cliam they had sent me the cancellation dating backward without even taking any apology.

                      When I filed a complaint they didnt even bother to answer the complaint.

                      Please get back your money and go to some good insurance company. Please dont ever make a mistake of being with TATA AIG you may have to lose more then what you lost now.

                        Hi,

                        I had recently purchased 3 Health care plus plan on 22nd Jan'09 from TATA AIG for myself, My father and mother which total amount comes to Rs. 2404.00, but TATA AIG has chaged me Rs.2404.00 on 22nd and again they have charged the same on 24th of the same month.

                        1st thing they have used my credit card 2nd time without my knowledge which I think is against the law and 2nd thing I am following up with TATA AIG since 4th feb'09, but yet my query is not resolved yet and my credit card statement has been generated and wont be able to pay the extra amount of my credit card bill as I am a salaried employee and plan my budget accordingly.

                        So please help me out with this

                          I had taken a Medical Insurance Policy with Tata AIG General Insurance for Maharaksha Plan for the first time effective 21 Jan 2008 through till 19 Jan 2009 for an amount of Rs 7038/-. Policy No MRP [protected]. At that time the person who contacted me was from Mumbai and they told me that they don’t have online credit card pay but only through telephone credit card Pay. At first I was apprehensive but they assured that they will not know about the credit card number because the transaction is done through a safe number where you feed in your number. I did as they said and the credit card was swiped and after 15 days the policy arrived through Blue Dart Courier.
                          This year on 17th January I got a call from Tata Aig, Mumbai phone No[protected].I have it saved on my mobile where they called me. They asked if I wanted to renew the policy and I said alright as I felt like last year the telephone swiping of credit card was safe. But when they transferred me to the card swiping dept the man there said they have my credit card No and they told me the number. I was shocked. I asked why they have my card Number with them without my permission. I told him there are many credit card frauds now a days and I should have atleast known that they had my cc details. He said at Tata AIG there is no problem and we keep all the cc numbers. They said they will send the Renewed Policy by courier.
                          After that I had no other telephone with them. On 24 th I downloaded my credit statement which I get online through email. On 28th I opened the statement which is password protected and checked my account and saw that there was a Tata AIG credit swipe on 17 Jan 09 for an amount of Rs 7038/-. And then again on 22 Jan 09 the same amount by Tata AIG for Rs 7038/- I immediately sent a letter to [protected]@TATA-AIG.com re: this. They replied, to send the credit card statement. As the statement is password protected. I opened it and took a screenshot of the part of the credit card stated as Doubling Billing. My HDFC CC bank had highlighted this in blue.

                          They are applying delaying tactics. I have had online credit card payments and if there is a mistake I have found the amount gets reversed back within 2/4 days. This has been going on since 28 Jan09. What is so difficult for them to find out that the card was swiped on 22 Jan 09 again without my knowledge. I have saved all the phone calls on my mobile and nowhere is there a call to me on 22nd Jan. If they had rung me up I would have told them that I have already renewed the policy on 17th Jan.
                          So this was done without my knowledge and permission. This is a case of fraud and cheating.
                          I even wrote to my bank and they said this would not reflect on my statement unless the Merchant Bank sends the details. I rang up the call center No:[protected]. The lady at the other told me that the amount has been reversed on 4th Feb and I should wait till the end of the week. I told her that I will be charged interest after 12 Feb if I don’t pay my bill on time. So please see that the amount comes by then. She said it will be there. However at the end of the week on Friday 13th I checked and the amount had not been reversed. I wrote to them I sent about 10 emails one after the other but got no reply. I sent so many emails in the hope they will reply. Then I rang up the call center and again another lady said that the amount has been sent on 4th Feb but there is some internal problem with
                          our bank and to check at the end of the week . I told her about the interest charged by the bank. She said pay the amount as the payment will be there. So again checked at the end of the week ie: 21 Feb 09. The amount had not come. It has not come to date and I wrote to them that I will be compelled to do a case. Then I get a reply that they are following it up and to give some time.
                          I have had so much tension, mental anguish and sleepless nights and frightened that they have my credit card No, and any time it can be swiped for more. Their attitude is callous. I trusted them and they have cheated me. I have sent them all that they asked for. What more proof is there? I even sent them the email I got from my bank. Yet they are playing games. Is this what a big and well known company does to its clients?
                          I am being compelled to take this matter up in court. How much more time do they need. All the proof is there. Rs 7038/- maybe a small amount for them, but not for me. I am not young. I took a policy for my health but if a health insurance company is going to harass their clients then it wont be long before due to mental tension a MAJOR HEALTH PROBLEM MAY RESULT. If to return Rs 7038/-so much of a problem then they will surely trouble when I put in a claim for a major illness incurred because of their harassment.

                          The money was refunded finally when I told them that I am taking this case up in court. But Never Again through telephone Credit Card with Tata Aig.
                          I took a policy in my father name policy NO ITMR[protected] dated 16th Nov 2009.Asking sickness and hospitalisation.The conversation i had with Mr. Ashish and agreed for the coverage 34 lkhs including Non hospitalisation 3 lkhs and Hospitalisatio 11 lkhs and other 20 lkhs towards accidental coverage.I received the document on 21.nov and surprised to see they have sent only accidentel coverage.

                          Being a well known indian Branded Tata company its shame that these type of liers are working in this company.or the company itself trained like this. I have seen somany comanies but not like Tata Aig.

                          Iam requesting am not interested in this policy and asking for the change of policy as agreed by you or cancel the policy immediatly and reemburse the amount 6909.00 for the A/C NO [protected].

                          If you dont act accordingly i will drag you to consumer court and you will be responsible for my mental agony.

                          I received a call from your company today saying they have some Maharaksha personal injury policy, the features of the policy were explained to me. I was reluctant as things could not be understood over a phone call & need a second thought.
                          I was told that they would need me to spare a few minutes to which I agreed. But the same thing was repeated again by 3 executives namely, Irfaan, Kamlesh & Nikita and it took 40 minutes. I was very irritated, but finally they succeeded in getting my credit card no.
                          I was told that the premium for a policy of 34 lacs would be Rs 6909 p.a. and that I could opt for a 12 month EMI of Rs 575. When I agreed for the EMI option the lady again started asking me the same questions all over again. I was annoyed and i told the lady that I was asked for 2/3 minutes and they have taken up almost 1 hr. and so i refused to talk to her further bcoz I was at work.
                          No sooner the all ended I got a message on my cell "Thank you for using your Credit card no. XXXXXXXabcd for INR 6909 on 28/01/10

                          This is nagging people for getting business. I was told that i could change my decision after going through the policy papers, but before the call ended I got a msg saying that my card was used. This is sheer cheating and I would not like to keep any relations with cheats like you. Hence cancel the transaction on my card or I would be forced to go to consumer court.

                            Sir, Already I requested to cancel my policy to you 3 times through phone and You never take any steps and collect 2 months premium from HDFC CREDIT CARD A/C.So please take this request and repay the premium amount to a/c and dont collect any amount in furure.

                              Dear sir,
                              Recently I called HSBC customer service to revert my service charges for my creditcard. After this clarification they are asking me to holld for some time and some of the staff discuss with me over phone (May be TATA-AIG Insurance company) and explain about some insurance. And take assurance for debit only twenty rupees (Rs.20/=). All of a sudden without any proper document signed by me, They send the Policy for my family members of Four 4) and the perimium of Rs. 2000 Plus 12.36 Service tax).

                              Since it is not satisfied and seems like a ordinary Vehicle Insurace Plan (No returns for my perimium of 2000 per month plus 12.36% tax, I tried the customer service to cance my Policy on[protected] at 10.00 am on telephone no. mentioned in covering letter from HSBS[protected]. But the message recd. is can not contact right now.
                              I feel Very bad about HSBC. They are not suppose to encarage like this. First of all They don't have any rights to issue the Policy by Telephone confirmation without writenapproval from the Customer.
                              Finally I send the request to TATA-AIG Insurance to cancel my policy which I am not intrested at all.
                              The customer service of HSBC is canvasing for TATA-AIG but when I requst HSBS to cancel my poicy the told me to contact TATA-AIG Insurance. Is this correct????
                              If this problem is not solved soon HSBC will loose many credit card customers soon...
                              Please refer the complaint made to TATA-AIG Insurance on[protected] for your reference.

P.B.Kiran Kumar. - Policy No-FSP[protected] 2.P.B.Srinivas.- Policy No-FSP[protected] I am not intrested with this Plan. I am not responsible to deduct any of the amount from my HSBC Credit card. In case if any deduction I am ready to cancel my HSBC credit card.Since there is no proper document signed by me for the said policy, IOnly by phone confirmation without proper explanation of the paln I regret to inform you HSBC will loose so many creditcard customers.Your policy plan seems like a vehicle isurance.                               Unwanted TATA AIG Family Secure Personal Injury Plan

                              Respected Sir,

                              Myself, Mr. A. Dhayalan My HSBC credit card no. [protected]. I don’t want to continue with the Family Secure Personal Injury Plan with TATA AIG.

                              This mail is with reference to the Family Secure Personal Injury Plan, Policy Number FSP[protected] given in the name of A. Dhayalan, the payment made by through HSBC Credit card. I request you to cancel the policy as it was discussed over the phone when it was given to me. I am not personally satisfied with this policy and due to my other commitments; I would not be in a position to continue this policy now. In this regarding not to cut the premium from june month onwards from the HSBC Credit card.

                              This is my repeated request to cancel the policy, as I have already spoken with the customer care executive. I need a confirmation that it is canceled, I look forward to your reply regarding the same.


                              Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

                                TATA AIG has Ho at Mumbai,
                                they call and book insurance on phone .they read only important points . fine prits wiile given after insurance is taken .
                                this is against consumer right to know the facilities lergality,
                                morover i haVE TAKEN AN INSUANCE AND DISCONTIUED ..STILTHEY ARE CUTTING THE MONEY ON emi

                                Dear Sir .I Recvied call from Mr Atul Sawant dt 2/7/10 at 6.31 pm ph no [protected], [protected] regarding health insurance, he disccus of the policy, he insist to talk to his senior, I told him that i am not interested to take any policy. He transferd the call to his senior who have taken my card no, he told that he will send doc Ref no 637465 :to mail add, at same time i have told him not to debt. any amount. Today dt 3/7/10, I recived sms that Rs 22783/-, debt from my card, I called TATA AIG Mumbai no [protected], and talk to ASHWINE G and complaint my cause. My reqest is to cancelled the policy, ref no 637465, and refund me Rs 22783/- to my card, and punish Mr Atul SAWANT for his wrongful deed, This will spoil the name of Tata AIG, throw, kick, him from your co.                                   The copy of a request letter sent to TATA AIG [protected]@tata_aig.com on 07th Jan 2009 is appended below and I hope it is well self explanatory.

                                       I hereby request you to spare some of your precious time to go through the following matter and do the needful at the earliest :-

                                  1.     Upon seeing about the TATA AIG  on the IRCTC site, applied for the policy through internet. One of your Officer  contacted me through my mobile and after verifying my particulars, the first premium of Rs. 10/= had been deducted from my ICICI Credit Card on 30th October 2008.  Even though Your Officer had assured that before deducting the second premium, will be get it confirmed once again, still the amount of Rs. 10/= had been deducted from my Credit Card on 18th November 2008.

                                  2.     On 12th December 2008, Friday at 1709hrs, again one of your officer had contacted me from Tel No.[protected], asking about the third premium reduction.  Due to not having my Credit card with me at that time, I had requested him to call me on next day. Later he contacted me on 13th December, Saturday,   at 1529hrs from Tel No.[protected].  After listening all the relevant information about the said policy from him, I finally requested him to discontinue the policy.  Whereas I found Rs. 701/= had been deducted from Credit Card A/c on 27 December 2008.

                                  3.     I contacted your Customer support centre on 29th December 2008 at 1930hrs (Tel No.[protected] and explained about the incorrect deduction of Rs. 701/= against the third premium, even after opting for discontinuation of my policy.  The Officer who was responded me given me a complaint No. 765376 and conveyed that for refunding the money I have to write to customer support centre.

                                  4.     On 30th December 2008, Tuesday,   at 1420hrs I got a call from Tel No.[protected], saying that the premium amount of Rs. 701/= which was got debited from my ICICI Credit card had been credited back..

                                  5.     But till today the said amount of Rs. 701/= had not yet been credited into my credit card account.  Till now I was waiting for my credit card account updation.

                                  6.     With the above explanations,   I hope, the problems  have been well elaborated and helped you to understand.  I hereby request you to look into the matter and highly appreciate if the third premium amount of Rs. 701/= be credited into my Credit Card amount and thereby discontinue the policy.  And also I realize now that why some of my friends had opted the same policy and later discontinued.  I really can't imagine of such mistakes from TATA AIG, being one of the reputed firms in India. 

                                  Thanking you and looking forward for a kind and favourable action to refund the money back to my credit card account.

                                    I had taken a TATA AIG insurance policy on 14 Nov. 2008. It was told that the premium for the first two months is 10 Rs. and then onwards its 701 per month for 10 months as the policy is valid for 1 year.
                                    I called the customer care to cancel my policy on 14 Jan 2009, till then there was only one deduction from my account of Rs. 10 after the cancellation the monthly premium of Rs. 701 got deducted from my account on 15 Jan 2009. The customer care executives say that the bill was already generated on 14 before I called for the cancellation. But if the bill was generated on 14 Jan 2009 then what about the bill to be that was to be generated on 14 Dec. 2008 of 10 Rs. this ammount was not deducted from my account. I want my money deducted after the cancellation of the policy to be refunded.

                                    I cancelled my above Policy on 23.09.2009. Still the premium amount is deducted from my SB A/c and I have given a letter to Policy Holder Service also. So far no action was taken. Kindly refund the deducted amount from me as early as possible. I spoke to Mumbai office phone No. [protected] on 23.11.2009.
