I have taken tikona internet connection 2 month back (User id: [protected]), since last one month i am facing low speed issue. I am getting only 300-400kbps speed against my 4mbps plan. I raised complaint/issue several times but i receive the same answer saying my issue recorded & working on that but there is no improvement in speed.
I paid rs. 1980/- for three month in advance in return of that i am facing such problems.
Tikona service person visited my place 4-5 times, but they are also helpless. They only said i will never get 4mbps speed not even 1mbps. They mentioned several technical issues which i am not much familiar, such as e. G. 1. So many users on single receiver (Area wise) 2. The speed distribution is dynamic so the more user’s access the net in that area the net speed get down 3. Main receiver is very old and not able to handle the increased user load 4. Packet data was reduced and so on.

But the tikona service/customer care do not accept their problem and are not fixing the issue. So i just requested them to refund my money and take away their modem, but still they are not accepting my request. You can refer the below mail for my complaint along with snaps showing low speed.

    My user id : [protected]. we bought connection last week on 27th aug. after soo much follow ups of 10 days.
    - installation done on 27th aug
    - [protected] is my user/client id
    - drop of speed and low speed reported same day to customer care
    - no resolution till 24 hours
    - connection works like 512 kbps or low.
    - 28th report the same problem with dial of toll free number
    - complaint shows under working till 29th aug
    - 30th aug while writing this no solution has been provided

      Sir, I have try to many times to about new broadband connection in New Delhi, Najafgarh. But no any response by any Tikona service. When we register to new connection of tikona broadband service, then first time call coming by his employee. He said to me I will be come to visit their and than no any response by his employee. I almost register many times to register new connection.

      Since i got your connection there is a problem in connection. After repeated complaints Since one & half month there is no response and problem is same. My internet is still not working but nobody is to see my problem from your side. I am in big trouble.

        Since two months i am requesting tikona to disconnect my services but they are tranferring the call to some senior helpdesk where the ivr keeps saying and repeating "expected wait time is one minute" and it goes for hours. My tikona id is [protected] and my registered number is [protected]. If this issue is not resolved within 24 hours, i ll have to suit a case against tikona as per consumer rights.

          Hi,

          I got a new Internet connection from Tikona in Mumbai sometime in January 2016. I made an advance payment for 3 months for the service. The quality of internet pathetic and it hardly worked. I had to actually call them every single time I wanted to log on the internet, then wait 24hours for them to resolve the issue. The internet worked for a few hours and then again it would disconnect. After 2 months I decided to I cannot take it anymore and asked them to terminate my connection and refund money for the remaining one month. However, Tikona never disconnected my service. Instead they decided to keep sending me bill for the next couple of months. Even after repeatedly telling them I have already disconnected my connection, they kept sending me monthly bills.
          After a couple of month, they began harassing me and my aged parents(as I travel most of the time) with phone calls and sending goons at my parents apartment. Everyday couple of days their goons will keep calling saying they are from "Delhi Civil Department", "Delhi Civil Court", some advocate firm saying the have filled a case against me.

          I am really frustrated with this and want Tikona to stop this mental harassment.

            Technical issue

            I am facing technical issues while login and surfing internet... It is not working well i have talked lots of time to the customer care but they are not working on it... They told me that the issue will resolve in 24 hrs but it remains same... If you are not able to do it i will disconnect my connection and will switch to airtel.. Its my final way to aware you about that issue... It is not working and services according to me is zero...#tikona...

            I took tikona broadband connection by paying advance fees of 3 months. like 25 days ago. and not a single day has passed when i did not raise a connectivity issue problem.

            Now these guys neither provide service nor refund. Hope consumer forum is listening to all this and provide justice.

              Hi Team,

              I have installed Tikona on June 3rd 2016 with the executive who installed said that I would be getting 3 months subscription free and I'll not be billed for the next months or cycles if I pay the fees for one and a half months during the time of Installation. I paid 2027 rupees including the installation charges and taxes. I have not been billed for months and my 3rd cycle got over on Aug 25 and I got a bill pf 675 for the 3rd cycle. I called customer care and witnessed one of the worst executives with no english knowledge and keep on arguing the same. First they said that there is no such offer and when I said it was promised by your Tikona person and for that they said Sorry sir, it was communicated wrongly. Then I said, Okay it must have been said wrongly but it was not my mistake and your company should take the blame. For that, the rep said the guy who installed is not from Tikona. Oh My God!! Such a liar this company is!! Still the issue is not resolved and the rep started answering me sarcastically and tried to offend me. Very poor company and customer service.

                Dear sir,
                my name arvind shukla my user id-[protected], I am start using tikona net service from 08.05.2016 to 03.07.2016 in this period tikona service stop in 10-12 days, I am paid 2100/00 rupee foe three months services, this money paid to 08.05.2016 to 07.08.2016, but they have not ptovrd the proper service.
                I am complain to service provider any times but, they are not solve the service problems, I am email 3-4 times to tikona services customer care but not responding to my email.
                I am con not able to talk my resisted mobile no always say this customer care no are wrong, not existing and all call to chargeable I have paid approx. 500/00 to customer care calling.

                so, we wants to refund my balance money, they have wants money from me. I am also send the email to customer care to cloes my accout but, the all every day for money.
                this services provider is very -very cheater and bad service provider.

                  Tikona is the worst internet provider ever i have seen... There is no customer service at all... I have paid 2040 as initial payment for 3 months... Not even a single day i got the connection... I called the service providers to resolve tat he is coming by 9pm once he fixed the connection it is working for 1/2 hr and again it is not connecting... I called them more than 8 times in the past weeks... I raised the deactivation request Also... But the customer care executive is arguing with me tat she can't refund without their technical team resolve the issue and the issue is not resolved yet and no technical team came to resolve the issue... I'm having this dummy connection for one month without using... Do they everknow something called customer service!! Tikona sucks... I strongly recommended my friends not to use this worst service provider...

                    Tikona has generated fake bill on my name and I get call from some advocate tht Tikona has filed case against me..

                    I had asked tikona to disconnect tikona service but they disconnected the connection later and generated the bill

                      Dear Friends,

                      I am planning to Lodge a police Complaint against Tikona, as from Last 2 days i am getting same calls from the same number [protected].
                      I have enough proof of evidence about the disconnection of tikona account no. [protected].
                      I have disconnected my tikona account on 10th November 2015 via telephonic call at 13.54 hours, on the number [protected] whereas the call lasted for 9 minutes. I have clearely asked for the refund f advance rental from 11th November 2015 to 25th November 2015. The last payment was made to tikona on 7th November 2015 for the period 26th October 2015 to 25th November 2015 via transaction id: 1-[protected]. If there is any usage of internet from 10th November 2015 from 3pm onwards on my account number [protected] than prove it. As per my records i have paid rent upto 25th November 2015. I have been claiming a refund of Advance rental of 15 days paid upto 25th November 2015.

                      So now i am surprised that i am getting threatening calls from number [protected] claiming the name name of Ms. Advocate Vidhya / Jaya Sharma from Delhi.

                      Being from an Advocate family i had asked her to provide her, the respective Bar Council Membership Number, so she had started misbehaving over the phone.

                      So Mr. Representative of Tikona, if you have a courtesy to reply or you dont want to close this issue, now i have free time and courage to take this matter to consumer forum and fighting this issue out there.

                      Hi,
                      I had faced same issue with Tikona, from the same no I got threatening calls saying case was registered against me froom Tikona.
                      Even I had the same problem, i didnt get internet for 3 months, but i have paid complete montlly rentals, and i have asked for disconnection on 4th on the month as my Billing starts on 7th. But they asked me to wait ans see the connection for 10 days an dthey mentioned that they will not charge incase we disconnect the services . But finally they generated Bill till 15th of month, so i didnt pay the bill . Even in call they said that if we continue thwy will refund 3 months bills also as they know that there was no service given to us. But after 4 months now they made that bill to 1200 and asking us to pay. other wise we need to go to Delhi court.

                      Finally I have paid that amount. But now I want to take action against TIKONA. Please suggest me on this.
                      Tikona is doing same thing every where no service at all.

                        Hi I am Shashank Sharma, I got a call from Tikona several time in a week. They offered me 3 month free subscription after my initial payment and after 2 month. They said there is no such plan. Tikona officer gives you wrong information and from 2nd month they started to charge me. I called them to terminate my services but they did not reply to it and convening me to use the services after payment. But I was not interested and on call one of the executive terminate my services as well after all due clear. But now I got a another call from Advocate might be possible she is also fraud. As I see lots of complaint on her as well.

                        Please help me to solve the problem.

                          Dear sir,
                          Hi this is chandan gupta. I would like to inform you that i'm using tikona broadband services([protected]) since last year(may 2015) my plan was 500+ tax @2mbps for the first 10gb data used and after that 518 kbps. But it was actually 60 to 110 kbps at anytime. Even less than 15 kbps...?
                          And now on 22nd july 2016 i request to hold my services for two months and pay the bill of 575 for same month. But they next month i.e august they generate bill again with the last bill amount + 100 rs late payment charges. I provide the details of last month payment five times different executives(sareen, mahesh(collection), shaila(network desktop) to whom i pay tha bill and provide his number but they continue calling me for the payment. Finally i'm frusted from thier services and decided to Closing my account but they don't do that and told me first i paid bill which was i already paid. Please help...

If you wish you may still use the services anytime in future, you will be charged 5 Paisa / MB (excluding tax) with speed up to 4Mbps.

                          On 6 sep 2016(Your Tikona Bill is overdue for Rs.1249.7.Current plan is suspended, you will be charged 5paise/MB @ a speed of 4Mbps when you use the service. Call[protected] i recieved a sms and now today i recieve ( Your Tikona WI-Bro service bill of Rs.1088.56 is overdue. Pay online immediately to avoid late payment charges. Ignore if already paid.) Sms. And continuing recevied that type of sms and calls. What is this...?
                          I was already mentioned on my previuos post that i was paid the bill then why you people are irretating me by calling and sms.
                          Remove all your cables and wires i never want to use the third class type of services.

                              I have had broadband connected from 20th July 16. However constant problems started from the next week itself. Now there is no services for the last 6 days. I have complained to all concerned and the problem remains unsolved till date . Rubbing salt to injury is that you within 15 minutes from making complaint a SMS is received from the service provider that the problem has been resolved .

                                I had cancelled this service back in Feb-16 however they have been calling me and threatening me with a court case that i have not paid them, whereas they collect the payment 1st and then provide the service (or so called service). i requested for a refund for the money i have paid as they din't provide the service but instead of paying me they are demanding for money. this is very troubling as they are not stopping this. I cancelled the service due to very poor service and din't have a stable connection for even an hour, they never resolved the issue. now they don't even want to cancel the service as promised. kindly assist in having this sorted

                                  I Brought there services in Nov 15, Paid 3 Months advance, and since then suffering everyday. Pathetic service. My modem would have been faster. In spite of numerous complaints, the service remains the same.

                                  Need refund from them, and compensation for mental trauma.

                                    I used tikona internet service for 3 months. I asked them to stop my service by calling customer care, they responded saying "we are going to stop your service, but your connection will be on hold and would be disconnected after one month", and asked me to pay 100 rupees which is the balance after deducting my advance amount. But, even after one month my connection wasn't disconnected and they kept on sending bills to my account 500 for first month after i asked them to stop my service, 1000 on second month with fine. I called them again to stop service and billing but they just disconnected asking me to be on hold for a minute. This has been continued and now they are threatening and forcing me to pay a hefty amount of 1500 rupees including fine. Why should i pay this even without using and even after requesting them to stop my service. Now they are calling and harassing daily saying "an advocate calling from delhi high court and we are going to send you a legal notice". I have full confidence on judicial system and one can track whether i requested them or not to stop my service. Please stop harassing me.

                                      Please find below the excerpt of my pain circulated at various platforms including Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Social media and News agencies:


                                      Respected Madam/Sir,

                                      The marketing punch line of Tikona Broadband - "first experience our service and pay later", actually means be cheated first and pay for your foolishness later and ever.

                                      I requested this so called company (Tikona) during the mid of April 2016 for their service by paying little above Rs 2000 on condition that there will be 3 months free service and later Rs 500 pm.

                                      I got installation immediately as I paid cash in full. Also there was a verification over the phone from the company's call centre executive. I neither got any documentary confirmation against the promised services nor the receipt against the payment.

                                      Immediately next month, I received a bill for payment besides numerous mails, messages and follow up calls. With all arguments and raising this matter to so many call centre executives it was acknowledged that the bill was erroneously raised.

                                      Then it became a common practise as every month I started getting bills followed by arguments and countless complaint numbers and what not. Finally after 2 months I started paying them their monthly fees although I was not supposed to before the 3rd month and that to with penalty of Rs100.

                                      The situation is so grim that almost 1/4th of the month there is no service.By any chance if we are not able to pay by the due date they charge Rs 100 as a penalty. If we use Internet beyond the assigned data limit they reduce the speed to almost no service level.

                                      Now my question is:
                                      1. if the Internet is down for minimum 5 days in a month which is a common feature then who will be penalised?
                                      2. There is no facility where one can contact directly to the technical executive for complaint and everything works on IVR. Aren't a customer has a right to complaint and get his problem resolved for which he is paying?
                                      3. Every executive has a different version of process. Is it not a process of cheating?
                                      4. No compliance, no documentary handover. Aren't they violating the TRAI norms?

                                      There are so much to say about this company- the corporate cheats and robbers but don't want to waste your precious time. I look forward to your esteemed platform and respected TRAI to take some strong actions against this company. When such kind of company's are playing freely in the market and flourishing then what is the need of thieves, robbers and dacoits in the society.

                                      I hope you will understand that this is not about Rs 2000 or Rs 500 pm. It's about the trust of the society which bestow on such kind of company and they malign the name of other service providers too.
