THE PRODUCTS ARE SONY LED TV 24 INCH, YKING DRILL MACHINE , DEODERANT. THE ORDER NO. ARE 10353970 , 10353972 , 10353974. BUT TILL DATE , THEY ARE NOT DESPATCHED MY PRODUCTS AND THEY ARE NOT REFUND MY AMOUNT. I AM ALREADY GIVEN THE PAYMENT OF THESE ITEMS TO TIMTARA.COM ON[protected] THROUGH HDFC CREDIT CARD.       Complaint under Section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986

      RESPECTFULLY SHOWETH:

      1. That the Complainant is residing at D 65/514, Lahartara, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh – 221002.
      That the facts of the present case, in brief, are as follows:-

      2. That, the Complainant purchased a mobile phone, namely Nokia 808 pure view on September 30, 2012 with order number 10333160 worth Rs. 28,799/- from Opposite Party’s website www.timtara.com.

      3. That, while placing the order the Complainant was told by Opposite Party’s executives that the product would be delivered within three weeks. It has been more than three months and the Complainant has not received his product yet.

      4. That, the Complainant has been trying to reach Opposite Party’s customer care executives from past three months through e-mails & calls, but nobody responds. Even if somebody responds, they say that the product will be delivered within a week’s time, but it never happens. It seems like Opposite Party list the product without checking the pricing visibility and thereafter defaults in delivery.

      5. That, the Complainant contends here that he had placed trust in Opposite Party’s company while playing the order. However, he is sorely disappointed at the appalling level of service that has been meted out to him. This is highly unethical & unprofessional on their part.

      6. That, the Complainant did not receive any reply from the Opposite Party and hence sent a letter to them on November 30, 2012 stating Opposite Party’s deficient services. However no action has been taken by the Opposite Party on the notice yet.

      7. That, the Complainant felt enraged as the Opposite Party has cheated on him. Till date the Complainant has not
      received any retort even after many requests.

      8. That, the Complainant is not satisfied at all with Opposite Party services and feels harassed. Therefore, this petition.

      9. That this Hon’ble Forum has got pecuniary jurisdiction to entertain this Complaint as the compensation claimed 47799/-(Fourty seven thousand seven hundred ninty nine).

      10. That this Hon’ble Forum has got jurisdiction to adjudicate and decide this case as the cause of action arose in Varanasi as the Complainant made online purchase from Varanasi. Also since the Opposite Party carries out its business in India through Internet, the matter falls within the territorial jurisdiction of this forum.

      11. That, the cause of action is continuing up till now as the Opposite Party has not taken any action on the legal notice sent by the Complainant. Therefore, the complaint is filed within the limitation period.

      12. That the Complainant has not filed any such or similar complaint before Hon’ble Court. No such or similar complaint is pending adjudication before any competent court of law.
      It is, therefore, respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to:-

      i) direct the Opposite Party to apologize for all the inconvenience caused to the Complainants;

      ii) direct the Opposite Party to make up for the mistake and give the refund of the entire sum with interest to the Complainant;

      iii) direct the Opposite Party to pay a sum of Rs. 15,000/- towards the physical strain and mental agony suffered by the Complainant and his family members; and

      iv) direct the Opposite Party to pay a sum of Rs. 4,000/- towards cost of this petition

      for which act of kindness, the Complainants shall, as is duty bound, ever pray.

        I ordered a Mobile phone on 25th feb online with timtara.com and so far no response from them. The gateway who took the money also seems fraud. It is Info secure consulting, Noida. Both are from UP. The numbers they have given on the website are not pick anybody.

          i have order a mobile phone using timtara website on 26 th Feb 2013 with order no 10401028.i have paid rs,11990 for this . but still now order status shows awaiting for shipment . there is no response from timtara. i wasted lot of money to call customer care . but never picked the phone.

          please help me to get product or amount refund.& also take necessary action on timtara . block timtara website , bcoz others wont suffer

              I ordered two micromax cavas-2A110 dtd[protected] and delivery schedule within 3 weeks, now it’s 3 weeks pass and the order no# 10399956/10399960 & transaction no is 10176288/10176290 still shows the status as

              Order Date: 23/02/2013 @ 3.30 PM

              Order Total: Rs. 18180/- INR

              50-60 time I called them([protected] & [protected]), generate support ticket, email them all of there email id([protected]@timtara.com,[protected]@timtara.com,[protected]@timtara.com,[prot... but no response or action from there side, always their support desk giving to waiting time for next 24/48 hrs. even they don’t confirming me about the cancellation process also. They say they can do anything just forwarding my request to concern department, but no one taking action on it. Their policy clearly tells that I Can request a refund ANYTIME before the shipping of the product which is what I did but no respond from their side.
              I am really now worry about my product and money.

              Timtara is a fraud site which posts items on its websites with good offer. which it does not sell. Once the consumer pays for such product, they keep on delaying the order giving false assurances. In the process, they earn interest on the amount paid in advance. After getting frustrated for months, consumers have no option but to cancel the order and ask for refund. They also do not cancel the order immediately and refund the amount and keep on delaying.

              Now I found lots of complaint against timtara, they are frauds, and worst service in online marketing.

              Pl. Help me out of this problem and take necessary action against timtara.com.

              This is Rajesh who i have ordered a Micromax A110 Canvas 2 in Timtara website
              ( Via mail id: rajesh.[protected]@gmail.com ) (Order number:[protected] on 18th March.Since that day(Cost is Rs. 9, 189 ) there is no update on my order.
              Whenever I check my details, it just says "Awaiting Shipment" Am not sure, how many more days it will say "Awaiting Shipment" and at what time the Shipment will reach reach me ?.
              It's already 4 Weeks over. . Still it shows same... i all ready sent a mail to cancle an order..and
              I have already tried lots of calls to the number which is given by timtara(Support), but of No response.
              I am also one of the victim from theses fraud company.
              i paid amount through credit card.is their any chance to get my amount back...?

                I had order 1 x Dell 1TB Portable Hard Drive,Order no#10380038 on 01/01/2013. And I had paid rs.4440 on 01/01/2013 through ICICI BANK CREDIT CARD.But still now I have not get my product. From the first day on net it shows that this order is marked as Awaiting Shipment. I several times try to contact through telephone but the customer care not give me proper answer. So I am very worried about this. So please help me.

                              This is about how timtara is acting against customer complaints. I have placed an order: 10391322 on Feb 1, 2013. They said with in three weeks they will deliver the product. They failed to deliver in 3 weeks and I called up to customer care and asked then to cancel the order on Mar 2, 2013. Cancellation req. No: 69716.Not yet cancelled the order yet. Every time when I call to customer care, executives ll say that we have already escalated the issue and I am again raising a compliant once again. I have called many times more than Rs. 300 I got the mobile bill for that. But there is no response from them. Today is Mar 15, 2013 and I called them today also. Today what they said is entirely new thing the cancellation ll be done on or before Mar 25th and for refund again they need 7 to 10 working days.

                              In my career, this is the worst site which I seen and they are taking public money.
                              Pls don't believe TIMTARA. Its a completely fraud site. They ll not provide the service. Its completely waste of time and money.

                                It is very painful and astonishing that Timtara is cheating innocent customers like us by trapping us online and be fooling by showing wrong commitments and attractive reviews that the product get delivered within 4-7 days and 21 days time is just at the safest side to protect customer's interest but when I mailed them no one replied till yet in last ten days which is a reason of my worry and nor my product got delivered till yet.I have booked 2 Samsung Galaxy S Duos in 22980/- but the status of the product on the Timtara Site is still showing Awaiting Shipment when I tried to complain about the same to the concerned company I have not received any replies to my so many mails. When I found it fishy I checked the review of the company on internet I was shocked to see that whole web was full of complaint by the consumers about the non delivery of product and payment made 2 months ago three months ago! I am very much concerned and tensed about my hard earn money kindly look into the matter as most urgent and do the needful at the earliest. I am herewith sending the thread of mails sent to them for communication but no replies received till yet, for your kind perusal and necessary action please.

                                It is very painful to inform you that after mailing you three times
                                and keep on calling you from last 6 days or so we are completely tired
                                but our product is undelivered till yet! You Customer Care Number is
                                keep on ringing whole day but you don't try a bit to at lest pick the
                                call and answer the query of the customer who is getting irritated but
                                who cares for that! It is matter of great concern that we have blocked
                                our 23000/- Rs. to a very bad and unfriendly online partner who don't
                                even find time to reply the queries to their valuable customers which
                                is matter of great concern! I am purchasing Online products form so
                                many years and each company deliver the same within half of the time
                                or if not delivered they give each and every minute detail of the
                                product status of the product's status by which customer feel
                                satisfied and content and it really increase the value of the Online
                                store in the eyes of the customer. but you have beaten all records,
                                neither you show the status nor send the product it showing awaiting

                                  I booked a Micromax Canvas2 A110 on 18th feb and they gave me a deadline of 3 weeks.however still there is no shipment nor any refund was made and i am tried calling customer care of timtara bot no response is given i have a message with me of my deduction from bank while making the payment...
                                  Please help me with the same my hard earning money is stucked and please take action as soon as possible....
                                  i didnt received my money till now and everyone else had.

                                    I had ordered a Micromax canvas2 A110 mobile handset from Timtara.com on 08march 2013 and paid Rs 8991 through debit card. But from the same day till now I am trying to cancell that order but neither their customer care nor by genering ticket I am able to cancel the same. Also the item was not shipped till time. I mailed every employee and officeers/Boss even Mr Raja and Mr Bose but they never respond. Tehry are not picking the phone. I dont understand theat why these fraudent are in market.

                                        Hi,

                                        I ordered a phone from the website on 6th Feb, 2013, ORDER #10393890, amount Rs.13,192. They said the product will be delivered within 2-3 weeks. After 3 weeks, when the order wasn't delivered, I decided to cancel the order. But even after numerous emails and calls to customer care, my order has still not be cancelled and the amount in still not refunded.The customer care people disconnect the call whenever I try to explain the issue and I have not received any reply on email as well in spite of sending numerous emails. This is mental harassment. Good thing that I found the consumer helpline forum:) Would appreciate your efforts, thanks in advance!!
