Vodafone is a cheat!!! My postpaid mobile number is [protected] and this is regarding a bill that i received for Rs.12350/. I had requested for the activation of 2g data plan of 2gb + balance unlimited usage at a reduced speed for Rs.199. I had requested for this activation through their customer care executive on call. In about 10 days, i got a message saying I have exceeded my credit limit of Rs.4000 and I was shocked because my bill never exceeds Rs.1000 every month and i have been using vodafone services for over 7 years now. I immediately call the customer care and ask them about this message on exceeding my credit limit and they reply that there is nothing to worry as my discounts have not been considered and at the end of the month my unlimited data plan discounts will be applied and my billed amount will be reduced. On repeatedly confirming with the executive, he assured me that once the discounts will be considered at the time of generation of the bill. At the end of the month, i receive a bill of Rs.12350 where my actual call usage was only Rs.600 and additionally they have charged me Rs.11000 for the data usage of 1gb. I immediately rushed to a nearby vodafone store, i get to know that they have put me on the 1gb 2g data plan instead of 2gb data plan so that the could charge Rs.125 for 1gb and Rs.10000 for the other 1gb which was supposed to be free!!! This is highly unacceptable!!! Now vodafone say they have no records of the transaction made with the call center executive and that i have to pay Rs.12000!!! Vodafone have cheated other customers the same way and charge them exorbitant amounts!!! They also call back in a month and apologies for their error and ask me to pay Rs.4000 and clear the bill!!! I dont understand why should i even pay Rs.4000 when my actual bill is only Rs.1000. Please help sort this matter for me.

Hi,

I have spoken to the customer care and even visited the store several times and it has been of no use. Each time a different representative speaks to me and after I explain the whole issue, they say they will contact me immediately but they don't!
Someone even called back and said its a mistake from Vodafone's end and so please pay only Rs.2000 and so I did pay Rs.2000 after which I did not receive any confirmation mail or message nor did the person call back.
So only if you can resolve this issue immediately then please call by 1pm or after 5pm.

    dear sir, i have vodafone post paid connection on 26th of september i requested them to deactivate my data pack, but they said it would be deactivated on 17th of october, on 2nd of oct i got a message that i have crossed limit so they barred my number, on enquiry they had found that its their technical error and reconnected it, but after agian 2 days i.e from 4th they barred it again due to their technical error from that day onwards i had lost my connection .customer care people are not lifting from any mobile i call,

      Please find attached Image showing excessive billing for 3G. Why the hell have you charged Rs.250 twice. What is this rental ? Rs 149. And Where is my one local Vodafone no calling free? Why the hell did you deactivate it? Do you do it on a purpose to charge more for the customers? I am getting very sick of this Vodafone services these days. You are unnecessarily charging me more. The same thing has happened earlier.

        I am continueusly receiving (in morning and evening daily) distubing unwanted call from vodafone no#[protected] for looking for a person rupendra. From many months i informed them the this person is not any way belongs to me and please dont call me, but they are constantly calling my number and disturbing me unwarrantedly.           International Roaming Pack has been enabled automatically and charging hefty rentals. There is a clear technical issue, where the rental is charged twice in the bill. After repeated requests, inquiries and complaints, the International Roaming service is still not disabled. No help regarding keeping the number in safe custody or disconnection. I will provide complete details with proof.

              I would like to register a complaint against cell phone service provider Vodafone and My number is [protected]. As per norms, I had no outstanding bill but still my out going was barred without any notification or confirmation. Every month services which are not required by me are activated and the charges are deducted from my account. Every time I have to contact customer care and deactivate the service and ask for refund. However within few hours the same service is again activated and same process is repeated. There have been instances when i have tried for hours together to contact customer care but not been able to get through. I would like to warn you guys regarding its third grade service standard and would like to advise to switch it Airtel or Reliance which is much better.

                50days back i Ported from Airtel to vodafone. Before porting from airtel I called to vodafone customer care to enquire about benefits i will get for porting to vodafone. One of the executive told me that I will get an offer of V-V 10p per sec and V-O 30p per sec for 30days with recharge of 8Rs. So i opted for porting after i got the vodafone network i called to vodafone customer care and asked for 8Rs offer update executive Divakar told me that i have to wait for 30days and then i will get the benefit. After 30days I called again executive kishore told me that i have to wait for 45days.. after 45days if i call they are telling me to wait for 3months...so Ridiculous it is...again I asked to transfer me call to supervisor he is not responding properly...so irresponsibly he is answering...I am not getting proper information on my porting benefit... are vodafone care executives not trained up well... so worst care this is...WORST...

                  Due to my office work, I am commuting between Mum & Pune. When in Mumbai, I am not getting a network or getting very poor network (at my home in Mumbai), this lead to a call drop on every 10-20 secs. I have contacted to nearby "vodafone store" in Vashi, but since my phone is in Roaming & originally from Maharashtra Circle, they could not able to log my complaint. It seems Maharashtra circle is not able to resolve the problem & Mumbai circle don't want to attained it. In this regard, I have registered my complaint around 2 months back, but till today they could not resolve my problem. They are not even bothered to reply to my email. Also not bothered to call me. I have received a couple of calls around 3 weeks back & one of their mentioned engineer mentioned me that somebody will reach to my place & try to resolve the problem. One of the person from Mumbai Circle called me & said the representative will reach to your place soon.. but as of now.. no body has reached. The problem is still persist. I am planning to migrate on some other operator not because of poor network, but because of poor & irresponsible service from them. Thanks -Piyush

                    I have a Vodafone corporate number [protected] and on 30-Sept-2013 i have called to Vodafone customer care to know my bill regarding my two numbers i.e. [protected] and [protected] and the CCE Mr Sikander told me that on this number [protected] bill plan which is working is of Rs. 125 Rentals per month and i was shocked after listening that i have opted for Rs. 100 Rental plan from date of Activation. and from 30-Sept-2013 i am sending mails to Vodafone Peoples i.e. Nodal and Appellate and MD Mr. Martin and Gaurav Manocha and Corporate Care team, but i am not getting any response from these peoples. i have spoken to our corporate Reltaionship Manager Mr. Gaurav Manocha and he told me that he have sent mail to their concern department and everytime he is saying this thing, and i am tired of listening this and of sending mails to Vodafone peoples but not getting any revert.                     Apologies for the delay. Please be informed that the tariff plan benefits have been revised as per industry decision across customer base. And the same was communicated to all customers via SMS mentioning that the new tariff plan from this bill cycle is talk 125 @1.5 which has 10000 seconds and pulse of 1.5p/sec. However, a waiver of Rs.25 and rectification will be done of plan change in the next bill cycle.

                      I have been using Vodafone number from past 7- 8 years. I am using my Delhi’s number on roaming since December 2012 in Mumbai.. But my handset got damage on 15th August.. When I got anew handset, I got the shock that Vodafone has disconnected my number due non-usage. How could they do this to their loyal customer that too without giving any intimation on mail or alternate number? When I called up their Delhi Customer care, I got a reply they cannot do anything. The number will not get activate. U can come to Delhi and visit a Vodafone Store. What kind of customer care executives they are?? I want my number activated..

                        I am a one of the vodafone customer last 3 years. Recently i convert to tata docomo service so vodafone last bill generated bill amount rs.667.67/- i already paid security deposit 300/- (When i joined vodafone) so now deduct
                        Rs.300 and i paid rs.368/- but recently my outgoing calls also stopped to docomo. He told first you pay vodaphone bill after that we will provide out going calls. I met that vodafone store he told you pay rs.300/- (Balance amount) after that we will send to chq that security deposit amount. Please advice me what can i do my mob:[protected]

                          Hi, I called Vodafone Customer Service on 30th Sept 2013 at around 12:30am to get international roaming activated on my vodafone number [protected]. The Customer Care Representative assured that the services would be activated within 4 hours. I reached Spain next day and did find roaming activated as promised. I made only one call to India and sent 1 message on whattsapp on the 1st October. Next morning onwards, my services were barred WITHOUT ANY PRIOR INTIMATION. So i was sitting there in spain, unable to make a call--and not even knowing why my services were barred. After 36 hours, my wife who was in India, called the Vodafone customer care and was told that vodafone proactively barred the services to prevent high billing and if an interim payment of Rs 1100/ (which was the due bill amount) was paid -services would be rendered. She immediately made a payment of Rs2000/- hoping my phone services would be activated. However, this did not happen. I reached India on the morning of 5th October and called the Vodafone customer care number and went through this entire conversation yet once again. The representative this time advised that i had an international usage of RS 13000 which was to be be paid immediately. I was shocked---this was not possible as my services were barred while I was travelling abroad and I did NOT use international roaming. However, the rep did not want to understand and said that if I paid RS 2000 again, my services would be activated until 19th Oct, when my bill would be generated and I would be able to see the details for the Rs 13000 bill amount they were mentioning. i ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER--AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOBODY AVAILABLE. I again made a Rs 2000 payment--and yet again--the services were activated for a few hours in the night and then barred again in the morning. When I contacted the Vodafone customer care at night on the 7th october, I again had to narrate the episode--with no help--the rep asked me to wait until the 19th oct when the bill would be generated---and until then no services would be activated----unless i paid the entire Rs13000 right now. i ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER--AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOBODY AVAILABLE AGAIN. THE REPRESENTATIVE DISCONNECTED THE CALL. i HAVE BEEN USING THIS NUMBER FOR 10 YEARS NOW--have always made payments-- and my usage has barely exceeded Rs 2500. I would request assistance in getting this resolved asap. This is sheer harassment and cheating by Vodafone. Regards, Shantanu DEY #[protected]

                          I Have still not received any call and moreover when i give a call back to Vodafone customer care who seems stil unaware of this problem, is asking me to make a payment of 60% of the Total amount, i am really shocked the way a customer of 11 Years with Vodafone is being treated and i feel pity for all the new customers who have taken up vodafone...

                              Dear vodafone team, I have given a port request from airtel to vodafone postpaid on 1 October 2013 and as of now there is no status. please let me know if you are having too much of workload and you cant handle more new customers then I would drop the idea of porting. As per trai I should get an sms regarding the authorisation of my request within 4 days. Please get working fast and get me a reply.                                 I have activated 2g internet for 125INR, they deducted immediately and activated 650MB plan for 21 days., but this plan is worst than 98INR plan, and when I called customer care to deactivate and refund my money., from nowhere there are getting a new plan and trying to cheat, at last the so called manager told, it will dont in 2 hours., but after 4 hours they are saying it will take more than 24 hours., what service they give to the customers?? Just they wanna suck the public's money. The network is so bad., i keep getting roaming network in my Bangalore sim in Bangalore city.

                                After 24 hours the reply from customer service is it will be resolved in 48 hours. Is this the best service vodafone can provide to the customer. Better windup, this is time may be., even Government network are providing better customer service.

                                  I am shocked with your Customer Care executive service and the way they talked with me.I are also working with the corporate company Sunny Motors Pvt.Ltd and we have near about 50-60 connections of yours.One of our member lost his sim you had issued a new sim on the same number but we are not able to make outgoing calls for the problem i have contacted your customer care one of your executive Priya was on-line the way she talked with me was rubbish it seems that she don't have good telephonic skill.The basic thing that she should have good listening skill that was totally missing, Her voice was so husky.There was no professionalism.She was not in a position to take responsblity and was intruppting always when ever i tried to convey my problem.After all the conversation Priya told me that she wants sone details then only she can activate my number i have called again at custoer care with all the details this time Rupam was on line although she listened me but after conferming all the details she simply says that she is not having the authority to activate the number.

                                  I want to know why she has wasted my valuable time
                                  When i asked what is the solution now she told me that some one will contact me very soon in 24-48 hours.
                                  I want to know why this much of time id required to simply contact me.When i asked about your customer relation manager contact number your both executive told me that they are not having their Managers number and if i required i have to wait for 48 hours.
                                  Its very embrassing siting in cutsomer care service you exectives don't have their Managers contact number.

                                  We are helpless i think we have done some crime by taking the connections of Vodafone.I think for you people customers are not valuable.
                                  Now before taking any connection of VODAFONE we will think thousands time whether we should take any connection of yours or not.
                                  As we are also working in customer service department and this number [protected] is very valuable and helpful for my customers. Its my humble request that please activate outgoing calls as soon as possible.

                                  PLEASE EDUCATE YOUR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES TO IDENTIFY THE CALLER EVERY CUSTOMER ARE NOT FREE TO WASTE HIS VALUABLE TIME WITH THEM.

                                  now the time is 12.04am, 13/05/2009
                                  it is not activated till now
                                  your service people told me that, it will activate after 30 min.
                                  i checked the sim with other phone same result is showing.

                                  I had the same problem. Turns out that my nokia E51 was in dual mode, I neede to switch to GSM mode) (menu-tools-settings-phone-network mode-GSM) . It would also help to switch the phone off and switching it on again.

                                    I sanjay badarwal moblie number [protected], has taken 3g internet plan. I have many times complaint about the service to the customer care for last 3 months that i have not getting 3g speed on my net connection number. But they had given no response to me even the technical team has not contact me. I am getting 2g speed instead of 3g. It has suffer my work and most of the time i have to go some internet cafe for surfing which cost me a lot. I have waste my money and time in such a poor service. Please look into this matter.

                                      HI, Below are the my discussions and complaints numbers as below, so kindly resolve asap because 11th Oct 2013 is my last day. This was my first conversation between Vodafone customer care peope, Hi, I am Siva My Vodafone number is [protected]. On 21-Sep-2013 I received a message from VA-611111 saying that"Only for you! RC 98 gives 1.15 GB free 2G data valid for 28 days. Offer valid only till 23-Sep-13. Dial *121*098# to activate" and when I dialled and activated the same I received 650MB of Data for 21days validity which is not the same as it is mentinoned in the message. When I Dialled for Customer Care to file a complaint they were very irresponse and were disconnecting the call. Finally some how I was able to lodge a complaint No: [protected]. My 1st call to customer care on 21st sep was at 8:21PM to Prabhakar, 2nd 8:47PM Sandeep, 3rd call is on 22-sep-13 12:24AM Sabbir, 4th 12:38AM Satish, 5th 12:44AM Ashok, 6th Call 12:59AM Vijay Challa and 7th 10:33AM Sailaja. And Now I am unable connect to Customer Care and also my problem is not resolved. I am Helpless using this Vodafone Service.                                         I recharged with a 199 data pack (2GB) last month supposed to end today 05.10.2013 but i recharged it online on 04.10.2013 in the evening at around 6:00. I had 5MB of data left. In the night 09:13 that 5MB got over and my balance got deducted (Rs.8.70). However i had my data pack renewed in the eve itself that too a day before. I called customer care they said they had some technical issues but company's technical issues are none of my business. Later on they said that you must have opened multiple browsers. But at that instance i was using only one. While the whole month i used to use multiple browsers and that time no balance was deducted.
                                        I asked them to allow me to talk to their higher authority but they just put me on hold. Called 3 customer care executive; all had the same story and all of them put me on hold. The last call on hold lasted 43 minutes. They're harressing the customers. Please see through it.
