I am Vodafone postpaid customer since last 7-8 years for mobile numbers [protected] and [protected]. Plan for these numbers is A543 CUG L3, as i am working as assistant professor in New Civil Hospital campus, Surat. This is a CUG plan for Civil Hopsital, Surat. I had activated unlimited internet (199) plan for [protected]. After using this plan i have felt that i am not using internet beyong 1GB. On searching your website www.vodafone.in i can not find how to deactivate this plan, so i had had chat session with Mr/Ms Snehal on 8/9/2013 regarding deactivation of this internet plan and he/she had taken request for deactivation of internet plan. He/She had assured me that this internet plan will be deactivated up to 18/09/2013 after verifying my address and email details. After 2 days on 10/09/2013, i have recieved SMS from VG 61112 stating Your new plan is A245, monthly rental of 1399, local [protected]@V call .40 per min, other local [protected]@M call 0.40 per min and 0.80 for other local phones. Currently i am paying Rs 45 as rental for CUG Postpaid connection and new plan which is changed without any request and permission is 31 times costly than my CUG plan. I have talked to Mr Suresh K Nai regarding this matter on vodafone care. He told me that request for change in postpaid plan was made by Mr/Ms Snehal along with request of deactivation o[censored]nlimited internet plan. He assured me that Vodafone executive will call me within 24 hours to resolve my complaint but he could not assure me that this whole process will be hassle free. In whole chat session with Mr/Ms Snehal whole discussion was regarding deactivation of internet plan, nothing was discussed about Post paid plan. Due to This undue mental harassment, i am feeling cheated by Mr/Ms Snehal, i have to wait for 5-10 mins waiting for your executive to talk to me on Vodafone care, I have to explain him whole scenario, i was put on hold for 3-4 time during this conversation (Ref No[protected], cost of which was on me, If Billing was miscalculated according to this plan which i have not requested to activate - Who will be responsible for this? who will bear the cost? i will have to again go through this mental torture. and i have to again talk to your executive and might have to explain whole scenario again due to this unprofessional act of Mr/Ms Snehal in greed of higher commission for migrating me to higher postpaid plan. on 20th September i have received call from Rakhi Ahuja From Vodafone. She told me that My post paid plan was changed by mistake from their side and it will be rectified. She could not explain why there was delay in contacting me even after complaining on customer care number as well as by email. She further told me that bill will be generated as per new plan but they will change the plan and adjust the amount at the time of payment. Today is 26th September, i have not received single Email, call or SMS regarding changing my postpaid plan to older one. Dr Mayur Chaudhari

However, we have processed the adjustment(including tax) towards GPRS rental charges levied in your invoice and the same will reflect in the Adjustments column of your next invoice dated 07/10/13. Further we wish to inform you that we will pass the adjustment for the tariff plan rental, we request you get back with us after your next bill generated on 07/10/13.

    I am Rohit Rathod, I am using USB Stick- K3800 with a vodafone postpaid card. I continuously sent complaint regarding vodafone 3G internet problem, but they ignore my problem everytime. Vodafone is having a maladministration. I never seen such maladministration before. My all friends saw my internet problem and cancelled to buy vodafone internet connection, and also suggest me to buy photon plus or any all in one internet dongle instead of this vodafone. I requested them many times to solve my problem and But they didn't gave any positive response. I think they are doing time pass in vodafone center, they don't care about customer. They all are none o[censored]se.

      Hi Im srujal thakkr and im a gud user of vodafone postpaid connection but i have a problem with ur connection .My Problem is my vodafone account is not open im try appprox 50-80 times but its not open so pls u tel me r u not give better service...

        I have been a Vodafone Mumbai service user since over 10 years now

        Vodafone is being very selfish with discontinuation of a particular service that I have been using since quite a few years on 3 connections

        There is a very straight forward concept of Vodafone that when they actually discontinue a service, they discontinue it for appliers henceforth but they have never discontinued it for the existing users. Like if there is a particular plan called "Plan A" and if they want to discontinue it, they discontinue it for new customers or for the existing customers who are not using "Plan A" but want to start using it. But they keep the plan active for the customers who are already using the "Plan A". But this time I get a call from their customer service saying that from 4th of October 2013 onwards, they are discontinuing the plan on all 3 numbers that I have been using. This is not right, they are not supposed to do this. And their executive dont want to take my complaint, neither ready to give me an email address where I can write my complaint to. I finally managed to find a few email addresses which are the complaint email ids in Vodafone department and I wrote my complaint to them a few days back, but they not getting back to me with a solution.

        I have also attached the proof all the emails that I have sent to Vodafone with this article & they have never replied to any of them

        The following is the email that I wrote to them:

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        This is a complain email and my complaint is as follows

        Have tried to get in touch with any higher authority at vodafone who can resolve my issue, but all my emails are bouncing back

        And every time I write an email, I get an auto response email saying my issue will be worked upon in 48 hours but I don't get any revert from any of your executives.. please try to make things convenient for your loyal customers this time

        My complaint:

        My name is Rakshit Shah & I have been a very old customer of Vodafone

        My postpaid numbers are [protected], [protected] & [protected] and my prepaid number is [protected]

        I have been using all the above mentioned Vodafone connections since quite a few years and have always been a loyal customer. You can check my history for my previous records. Even though I have faced problems with network and service with Vodafone, I have still stuck on to it.

        I have been using the Vodafone Live Unlimited data plan (Rs.99/-) monthly rental on all the 3 postpaid connections over a period of time now and suddenly today I get a phone call from Vodafone saying that the plan is being discontinued and I have to choose an alternative data plan now. Firstly as per my knowledge is concerned, even if any service/plan is getting discontinued it means that it is being discontinued for the customers who are not using it and want to apply for it henceforth. But the customers who are already using that particular plan are not supposed to be deprived of the plan. Even in past there have been quite a few plans in Vodafone those have been discontinued, but they have been discontinued for new appliers and not for the existing customers. It is supposed to be discontinued for the existing users only if they opt for discontinuing it.

        And as far as I am concerned, I have been quite satisfied with the VLU99 data plan since the day I have been using it all 3 postpaid numbers [protected], [protected] & [protected]. Hence I am really not happy with the option of discontinuing it. There are many other service providers which offer a range of good data plans but I do not want to go through all the headache of porting the connections and besides that, I still want to stick on to Vodafone because of the long relationship that is already built with Vodafone, provided my Vodafone Live Unlimited data plan is not discontinued.

        I hope my email is going to be considered important and a valuable one and I am hoping to get a revert from you soon with a positive feedback.

          I would like to hereby bring to your notice that Vodafone India (AP circle) has been constantly harassing me for payment even after I cleared all payments and requested for discontinuation of services.
          I sent out my first communication on March 24th 2013, requesting them to discontinue my services since I was moving out of the country for a year on a company assignment. I received an acknowledgement from Vodafone mentioning that they would get back to me in 2 days time, however, they never did. They sent me a mail providing me with details of pending amount to be cleared, which I did May 15th 2013.
          Even after this they have been sending me mails to clear more payments (which I have no clue) where they got from.
          On 19th Aug 2013 they sent me a reminder mail from their legal department for the due amount and I spoke immediately to one of their team members (Sandeep, mobile # [protected]), as mentioned in the mail to contact him for any clarification. He said he is going to take care of the issue. However, again the same mail came back yesterday asking for a pay out of Rs 2018 within 5 days or they would take legal action. I have no idea whether their system gets updated properly or not and I am really frustrated with this harassment from Vodafone asking for payments over and over again.

          I am currently in Malaysia and cannot meet anyone in person

          Can anyone help me on this?

          When you say 'reversal' what does that mean?
          I am still awaiting response. I have been harassed and embarrassed over this for the last 6 months even after repeated communication to Vodafone. I am not sure what a threat of "Legal Notice" means to anyone else, but it means a lot to me. I would like to know how Vodafone would compensate me for that?

            Despite several complaints on 111 and [protected] not only mine but several colleagues and relatives 3G connection speed is pathetically low these days at 0.05 Mbps or lower. Sometimes there is no connection at all neither 2g nor 3G. All this despite paying rs800 per month with several hours and days of downtime. How can a company of such repute get away with this. Even voice services get frequently interrupted or disconnected.

              I am Using vodafone postpaid from last 3 years In july 2013 i was using vmc99 data plan . Then on 20th july i got call from vodafone for the activation o[censored]nlimited inyernet plan of vmc 199 in which there is condition that speed is reduced to 40kbps after 2GB usage , i accepted the plan . And plan got activated from 1st august 2013 which i confirmed by vodafone care . After 2gb usage i got a msg that -KEEP ENJOYING UNLIMITED DATA PLAN AT REDUCED SPEED OF 40KBPS AS YOU HAVE USED 2GB. Then on 30august i got msg i have charged RS 8500 approx for Net charges . Immediately i called customercare and they said that you will get discount of plan at bill and i deactivated the plan. Ihave used 2.7 GB from 1- 30 august. Then bill comes with net charges of 8500 Then i registered complaint to customercare on 7th august , he confirmed and said that wrong charges are applies you should get waiver in 1 week but nothing happened i registered 3 complaints till then but no one solves . I still have that msg as prof My vodafone no. - [protected]

                  I was using vodafone postpaid 3g internet connection(GSM in Dongal) before 2 months.Vodafone customer care is the worst worst worst..customer care...among all other internet provider company.I used it for 2 months.First month i only got 190 rs bill.And after that in 2nd month i got 3850 rs bill.during 1st to 2nd month i called vodafone customer care 10 to 15 times and was asking for the service number so that i can able to know the current internet usage of mine.Customer care people have not correct information regarding that number and all the time they were making me fool.Becuase of that i am not...am not going to pay them a single paisa for that bill...First improve your service and then do ur business...By for ever vodafone and dont ask me for ur remaining bill that i will not pay u guys deffinatelly...

                    Dear Vodafone care team My Mobile number is [protected]. I had switched to Vodafone from my Idea connection in third week of August, 2013 due to network problems of Idea. Before porting to Vodafone , I was getting bill of Rs. 200 per month on Idea connection. After porting to Vodafone , I received an SMS from Vodafone on 20-Aug-2013 that my credit limit is Rs.800 and on next day i.e. 21-Aug-2013, the credit limit was increased to Rs. 2000. On the next day i.e. on 22-Aug-2013, my credit limit was further increased to Rs. 9000 by Vodafone. Then I felt it very strange and I fixed my credit limit to Rs3000 by sending an SMS ‘DL 3000’ to 111. To my surprise, all my data services were barred and outgoing calls were also barred from 05-Sep-2013 onwards . I was told by Vodafone care that my bill amount has exceeded the credit limit, but they did not explain anything on my call details. I was told that I might make a payment to restore the services .Then, I had paid an amount of Rs. 1500 to Vodafone. After receiving the Bill on 17-Sep-2013, I was shocked to see a bill of amount Rs. 11,375. The GPRS data charges were Rs. 6250 + taxes. Many a times, I had requested Vodafone Care to review my bill details before dispatching it, because my mobile usage was minimal locally as well as while in roaming . I am sure that this much bill amount is not mine and not acceptable to me. Even my data services were off most of the times during roaming. You are requested to review my bill and correct it and send it. I shouldn’t have got a bill of more than Rs 3000, which is my credit limit . You are requested to resolve the issue related to my mobile on priority and activate my outgoing data and call services. Thanks [protected]

                      Applied for Postpaid Mobile Number Portability([protected]) on 01st Sep 2013 and we are on the 22nd day,still no response and number has not been ported yet. Customer Care executives give commitments after commitments and cancel the call if i ask the final commitment date. All documents have been submitted and i do not know why is this issue when i have cleared the payment and also made an extra payment of Rs 700 odd to carry smooth process. Extremely disappointed and would take this matter in social media if it does not get solved by tomorrow.

                      Vodafone — Plan Mismatch and Date of Activation mismatch

                      Hi Below mail i had sent to Manager today of vodafone, after getting some facts of the situation. So what you guys think are the reasons for technical mismatch

                      Sub : Cancellation of Number [protected]

                      I want to discontinue this number [protected] issued to me on 19th Nov 2007 right away. Details of the plan are.
                      Date of Activation : 19/11/2007
                      Tariff : CORP 199 + 49 Pack (Std @ 1.00)
                      Reason for deactivation:

                      1- Given plan is not matching with the Generated bill that i have in my hand i.e STD rate are ~2 Rs Only
                      2- Today First time i tried to logged in through vodafone site to pay my bill, So i tried to register first but i got the message its login already activated. So i was surprised because the connection taken by me was new.
                      Then i called up customer care and they told me the way to retrieve the password and i tried by entering 3 -4 times wrong password. And i got the password. After that i found the details there and i was shocked that the activation for that number was 20th April 2006 not 11th Nov 2007 and the plan was not the same as told to me. Then i called up again customer care and told the same and after that i am not able to access myvodafone portal its 4 - 5 hour passed. And "customer support guys are saying some technical problem we are trying to resolve in your account"

                      So i want to know the reason for this mismatch? .

                      I am stunned after discovering all , what do i think now after being a voda-fone customer and what should i suggest to other. To wrap up I really don't want to continue with the services and with the this number.

                      I beg you to reconsider how you treat your customers and *reward* us for there loyalty rather then punish us! with your mismatch services like this. Its a dealer end problem or what ?, it can hamper anybody security of personal or business life.

                      Here i am complaining against vodafone cellular service providing company. I have been using an scheme of sms which cost of 34 Rs/Month from vodafone and which will b renewed on 15/11/09 at 12 pm that i very well known and that's why i sent an msg to vodafone to cancel it scheme before it renewal notification come on my cell bt they were rejected my request which were i known by their revert msg and after that I have been talked with Mr. Abhay (Supervisor) at ahemdabad customer care department as he said in introduction and he said like that we will not accept your request because you sent your msg after 9 pm and now its process has been started and we couldnt do any thing for it. Then i said their is nothing like your notification or information has been came on my cell that your renewal scheme were started frm 9 pm to 12 pm so how could i know that sir ? simple person just know that my scheme will renewal or chargeable after 12 pm of 15/11/09 or before/after of its 1 mint and i sent an msg near about 9.30 bcz i dont want to renewal it so i sent my cancellation msg to the company but they didnt replied properly. even though its supervisor advise to me that if i want to cancel my card, i can go by vodafone center.!!! has it proper answer to speak with its customer ? anyways as an customer i hope authority over here take some action and full fledged my satisfactory.

                      i recived a confermation call form airtel that you want to chanege your service provider i said yes and they agree. after seven days of my subscription my is not change so i wnet to vodafone store on 10th feb that my number is not converted till time they told me it will take 1-2days more. 11th feb night my serviecs is terminated by airtel and from that time my number is not started by vodafone and today i went to vodafone store they told me they dont have any idea why my services are started.
                      i really very upset on my decison to choose vodafone as my new service provider this my worste experince i had ever with any service provider.

                      Vodafone — Mobile Number Portability

                      I had opted for an MNP from Vodafone Postpaid Kolkata to BSNL Prepaid Kolkata.

                      The port code was given and I was ported out to BSNL.

                      I used the connection for more than one month and later one day I got a message that I have outstanding amount in Vodafone.

                      The information was wrong as I had a postpaid connection which also had some security deposit .

                      Later on one day my phone was disconnected by BSNL and they said that Vodafone had informed the authorities that there was an outstanding payment .

                      I have proof that Vodafone had earlier said that there are no outstanding dues.

                      Now BSNL is not being able to activate the connection.

                      I have been using vodafone prepaid for past 8 months. There are lot of network problems in vodafone. That's why i decided to change it Airtel . I have applied for on 12th FEb 2011. It been 1 month. Airtel guys told me , it is nothing any problem from their side. Vodafone is not releasing the number. I have called call center they say to hold while they are retrieving the information and then cutting the call. My number is [protected].

                      I'm fed up with Vodafone service, there most of deduct my balance without any reason, when I ask them for details they do not give any proper answer.

                      Due to this reason, I desperately want to change my operator, but when ever I message PORT [protected] to 1900, I get a message "The number you are requesting for porting is allocated for our internal purposes ......" , like always this time also they do not give any response.

                      I have a Vodafone Pospaid Connection which I took two yeras back. Till this date I have paid the bills correctly. Now, I want to move out of vodafone using MNP to some other provider.They rejected my porting request stating that the number is a premimum number and I was offered it for free. Now if I want to move out with this number I have to pay 1000Rs.I was not informed about this when I took the connection and untill I raised the port out request.

                      Vodafone is such a looting company with lots of crook ideas. Without confirming with the user they ahve activated Vodafone Live and Caller tone.

                      I decided to opt for mobile number portability from Vodafone to Airtel on 21-Feb-2011 and generated the PORT code : VM186737. But after the generation o[censored]PC or the unique porting code, there has been proactive no communication from Vodafone whatsoever.

                      They are neither porting my number nor are giving me any reasons on why its not happening - they have chosen to merely ignore my porting request. I have communicated this to Vodafone several number of times - all I get is some assurances but no solution at all.

                      Out of frustration, I have even mailed/called the nodal officers and appellate authorities of Vodafone - but all these attempts have been in vain.

                      Apart from the normal Vodafone Call Center execs (on 121 and 198), I spoke to all these officers:

                      Nizam Sheikh - Nodal Officer (called on[protected]
                      Shawn Perreira - Nodal Officer (called on[protected]
                      Zillah V - mailed on Zillah.[protected]@vodafone.com
                      J Mundkur - mailed on j.[protected]@vodafone.com (Appellate Authority)

                      Mr. Nizam advised me that J Mundkur is the highest authority for Vodafone and if he (or she?) doesnt respond - theres nothing that can be done - all I will have to do is wait. The wait is more than 6 weeks now - though the porting exercise should ideally not take more than one week
                      This is a prime example of how mobile phone operators take their customers for granted.
                      I am a vodafone user from Mumbai and I am very UNHAPPY with the current responses/support I received. The way I was treated was appalling. I would not like to continue any more with vodafone. Thus, I submitted a port request and today I got an SMS mentioning : "The number or range is in contractual obligations"

                      Well, I have paid my bills to date and have no pending amount on my number. In fact, I cant even call from my number [protected] to the 111 customer care number. Seems like I have been blocked from talking to anyone; though, I can listen to the IVR options. This is an insult to a 8 years old customer.

                      I had simply objected to a huge bill (on the number [protected]) which vodafone charged me for using vodafone live. They say I watched TV-- yes, I did try to see the cricket matches live during the ICC world cup. And, the whole world knows that the visibility was almost null. I was not able to see anything and I kept the mobile TV turned on. I was also under the impression that this is free as a trial and then I see that they want me to pay around Rs6000 for this.


                      I still paid the whole amount and before due date. Nothing is pending. I CLEARED ALL BILLS AND UNBILLED USAGE ON BOTH MY NUMBERS.

                      I got couple of complaint numbers after I called on 111 from a friends number. The person attending to the call said I would get the numbers freed up in 24 hours and then I got an SMS stating that I will get an answer to my query by Monday and the SMS includes the same complaint numbers which the rep gave me on phone.

                      Why is vodafone playing games or trying to cheat people? I have paid my bills and no longer wish to be a customer of vodafone.

                      I am sending this email to express my frustration with the system vodafone has.
                      To Whom-so-ever it may concern,

                      I am trying to port my number from Reliance CDMA (PostPaid) to Vodafone India (PostPaid), but to no avail since last three months.

                      1. I applied for Mobile Number Portability from Reliance to Vodafone around Jan 20 - 23 in Vodafone Store, Vashi. I wanted to activate a CUG plan which my company offers, for which i didn't have any supporting documents at the time of subscription. so they asked me to mail them the Company i Card and a Address Proof, which I did the following day. Two weeks passed by and I didn't get any response from them. After two weeks i got a call from Vodafone asking me to mail my i Card and Address proof again. This time, though, they started the process. But because the PUC code had expired so Reliance rejected it.

                      2. Then I gave a request for the same to a Vodafone Executive in my office. He started with the process. I even got a message from Reliance thanking for being with them. But later i got a call from Vodafone saying that my previous request had not been canceled and asked me to cancel it from the Vodafone store from where i had applied. i went to Vodafone Store, Vashi and launched request to cancel my previous Porting request. but even after doing it, my number didn't get port. the Vodafone executive said my request has not been cancelled, yet. Again, the PUC code got expired.

                      3. For the third time, before applying for a MNP, i made sure that my previous request has been canceled. After i was sure of the request being canceled, i applied for a PUC code third time. applied for MNP again. but to no avail again. no response from Vodafone. its, now, only a day left for my third PUC code to expire.

                      Vodafone, please take a note of this. If anyone needs proof of the mails and the PUC codes and messages, i have it with me. I even know names of all the Vodafone employees who have interacted me on this issue.

                      I had a word with customer care executive on 25th May, 2011 regarding portibility and its benefit.
                      They send the executive the very same date, I gave the required document they gave me new vodafone sim and I paid Rs. 250/- via Receipt No. 62341 for the sim ([protected]).
                      Executive (T.P.MISHRA- [protected]) said it'll be ported to vodafone in 7 day as per trai rule. Someone from vodafone confirmed also whether executive came to visit or not.
                      But till date my no. is not ported to vodafone.
                      No executive called me up regarding anything.
                      I called the executive he gave me MNP Helpdesk no: [protected].
                      When i called here someone said verification is to be done, & will send the executive tomorrow.
                      When i again called him to know where is the executive, he said home was locked.
                      That was a WHITE LIE, if even i accept there is no one in home that person should give me a call if its locked. but he didnt.
                      Last sunday, 5th June 2011, I spoke to customer care and someone senior Hemlata (MNP division) was there she checked and said your document is not submitted.
                      After listening this i get furious, then she cut the phone or may be disconnected. Then i get a callback from vodafone few minutes later, someone (gurmeet/gurpreet/gagandeep)
                      I dont remember the name, he said there is a green light notification is there which means your no. will port to vodafone tonight (5th June, 2011) or tomorrow night (6th June).
                      But till now its not ported. Today (7th June, 2011) i spoke to cutomer care in between (1.45pm to 2.45pm) Megha then she transfered to Ram in MNP department, then he transfered to senior BHUPENDER (Floor Supervisor), he listen to my problem and said to contact your no. customer care. I said i wont talk to them as i paid money to you guys and
                      I need resolution from you.
                      And till date its not activated.

                      on 1st of july i submitted all my documents to vadofone store in gurgaon. They told me that they will take

                      13 days to complete procedure of mobile portability. but after one month theyreason they told me that my documents got rejected. and they didnt told me any reason. i repetedly asked about reason but they failed to give me any strong reason. till date i am still waiting for reply. and noe they told me to submit all documents again. t felt so embrassed and angry. i am mentally harrashed by vadofone. kindly look into that matter as i am loking forward for some solution.

                      I am K.naveen residing at perambur chennai, i had requested to port my number([protected]) from Aircel to vodafone 0n 08/08/2011. within 3 days my number was ported to vodafone but the ported number was not my old nummber its a new reliance number([protected]), in my mobile home screen it shows vodafone, but the number was a reliance number, now i am receiving promotional calls and messages from both vodafone and reliance. many times i called vodafone customer care but there is no proper response from their side. kindly look aginst this issue
                      What mr paulmathew had told here is extremely right. I too face a similar problem. I ve been vf post paid for the last one year. My bills were paid correctly, but i had an unexpected bill last month due to vmc usage eventhough i had activated a data plan. Now they are denying mnp due to 'contractual obligations'. And as per the recommendations from customer care, i wrote a letter to vf store manager to cancel my contract, that was on 12th oct, before which i have paid all my bill amounts. Still they say that my request is being rejected due to contractual obligations. I have been using this number as prepaid since 2007, when the network's name was hutch. If they are doing this with someone who is having this much of association with this org, i think it is frank robbery and this should not be allowed in our country.

                      I am fed up with Vodafone service,so I have raised a request for mobile number portability on last Thursday (03/11/2011),but till now i didn't get my UPC number.
                      I got couple of calls from Vodafone executives just to ask the reason for changing the network.

                      When i asked about my request they simple asked me to wait for 24hrs,i spoke with almost 6-7 customer executives.However,all of them give the same answer,seems like they are trained only for that particular line.

                      Again yesterday i escalated the issue to the customer support supervisor(i spoke with Manjunath from Bangalore branch).Even this fellow is also mugged up the same thing & replied.this is ridiculous ,irresponsible answer.

                      Vodafone please change your caption "Happy To Help".
                      This line doesn't suit for your service.

                      I need some solution for this.
                      I had requested my mobile number to be ported from Vodafone to Tata Docomo. My request was rejected all Four times by Vodafone giving all lame excuses why the same could not be ported to Tata Docomo. Vodafone did not port my number and tried to retain me as their customer through all possible means as I was their customer for last 10 years.

                      I made at least 50 calls (no exaggeration) to Vodafone and even visited their store (thrice) so that they could port out my number. They promised to port out my number on all occasions, yet they did not. A total waste of time and money and mental torture due to Vodafone.
                      Finally, I had to disconnect my line with Vodafone out of frustration and got a new connection with Tata Docomo.

                      Since the Government of India has given a right to every citizen to choose their service provider, why does Vodafone does not let it's customers port out their number elsewhere??

                      My Unique Portability Code received from Service provider is.. LM929544

                      The Vodafone executive had communicated that the no. would be ported within 7 working days.

                      Todays it is 21st of March 2012 and after calling Vodafone customer care, they are continuosly transfering me to different people and not able to answer the status of my portability request.

                      I feel cheated as I initiated the portability request on the assurance that it would be completed within 7 days with out pain, but now I am thoroughly frustrated.

                      I want to change my service provider from Vodafone to Airtel, because of CUG plan. I raised the portability code twice, but I have not get any call from Vodafone.

                      This complaint is against Vodafone service providers....On 21st April I requested for MNP for my airtel prepaid connection to Vodafone postpaid CUG connection and also asked for a new connection...However the new connection did not get activated....After 3-4 days I cancelled my porting request and informed Airtel as well as vodafone about the porting cancellation....After few days got My airtel prepaid connection converted to postpaid....On 5/5/2012 my Airtel postpaid connection got activated...On 7 may I received a msg from Vodafone saying welcome to vodafone and my number got ported to Vodafone....My new airtel postpaid connection for the same no. is working but I am only able to make calls from that number....No incoming calls as it says "Vodafone number switched off"....Unable to send or receive SMS as well.....My number with which I am facing this problem is [protected]....I don't want vodafone connection on this....I am happy with Airtel postpaid....

                      ([protected]) Iam an airtel user wanted to port to vodafone, In the ffirst week of december i went to the vodafine store to get it port. i purchased the mnp kit for 20 rupees and gave my driving license as my id and an adress proof of my residence with a colour photo and duly signed and attested by me. after 10 working days i got a message stating the mismatch of the porting number which i got frm 1900. then again i went to the vodafone store and gave all the ID PROOF and photo and filled the form. Now its almost over a month and my number is not ported and i haven't got any message from anyone. I want to ask the vodafone authorities that how many times should i run to the vodafone store to fill up the form?? and when will i get my number ported?? everytime im calling the vodafone customer care, they're telling me that its the fault of the donor company and not the receiver company's fault. i just wish these companies to act swiftly on this matter as it is causing me a lot of problems. i hope the concerned authorities to solve my problem as soon as possible.

                      I am Shilpi, working in Hyderabad since last 3 years.
                      I am a customer of Vodaphone Hyderabad since almost 3 years and have always paid my bill on time.

                      I just want to tell Vodaphone customer care, they have the worst service i have ever faced in any field...
                      I have no signals at my phone for Vodaphone (Number : [protected]). I complained many times for same and Vodaphone people came to my house and checked the problem but no action was taken. So i decided to shift to Airtel. I am trying to port my number since last 8 months from Vodaphone to Airtel.. Vodaphone is always rejecting my request with all weird kind of excuses like bill not cleared/ porting code expired (which is never the case), I cleared my bill always on time and still you make excuse that Bill was not paid till this date or that date.
                      I am very frustrated with Vodaphone.. Its been 8 months. Every month i am going to Airtel and submitting docs for porting and then Vodaphone is rejecting.. I have visited Vodaphone customer care (Madhapur office and Gachibowili office Hyderabad) many times and they are not co-operating with us. They always say they can not do anything in this.
                      This is not the way to treat customers.

                      Below are the porting code number which i have raised in last 8 months and below numbers i have given them 2 -3 times (as expiry date is for almost 20 days) :

But they didnot change that plan and instead of that they activate internet tariff plan for 2G @ 125. So in my last billing I have paid Rs 500 + 125. So it's my earnest request to adjust my extra amount which you have deducted because of your fault and misconcept.                             Dear Sir, I had activated VL8 mobile internet pack on my vodafone mobile No. [protected] as on dated 15/04/2013 Which contains 40 MB Data with 15 Days validity. It was auto renewal service. Last it was renewed on dated 28/08/2013. Before next renewal on dated i had used 80% data on dated 10/09/2013 05:40 PM my data balance was 6.05 MB. Next day 01:20 PM i had used 5 MB data. But before next renewal vodafone had deducted my all balance Rs. 23/- by showing reason of excess data uses and auto renewal pack de-activated on my mobile. I am 100% sure that it was a pre-plan for stopping my internet pack because i had never cross 40 MB data limit since from 15/04/2013 At present my mobile's network log is showing total 38.7 MB data uses Vodafone was sending me two SMS daily for 1GB 3G GPRS = RS. 122 and 500 MB 3G GPRS = RS. 49 since last 40 days but i have not accept any offer so vodafone had deducted my balance and De-activated my VL8 mobile internet Pack. I do not want to get refund-credit for my deducted balance But i am requesting to vodafone Please send me UNIQE PORTING CODE via SMS to my mobile So i can change network service provider via MNP Process.                               I called for inquiring about my data plan and internet speed, and the executive keeps interrupting as usual without listening to the problem. The executives don't even bother to listen to the customer and it has happened for the third time, not only with me but my friends as well. Very rude behavior and customer service is degrading day by day. Me and my friends are opting to port the number. Executive don't know English is the worst thing you can ever expect. A final goodbye to Vodafone for a thankless customer care service.

                              Dear Sir/Madam,
                              I took a scheme of Vodafone which provide 2 yr free incoming and 50 minutes per month Vodafone to Vodafone for 24 months But when i did not get my 50 minutes Vodafone to Vodafone this month after completed one month i talked with Vodafone customer care executive but they told me that there is a condition that u have to recharge minimum of Rs 100 per month
                              But at the time of purchasing this scheme they never mentioned it and even not mentioned in pack of scheme wehre everything is mention like local calling rates STD calling rates etc.
                              so i want to resegester case against Vodafone for hiding terms and condition about scheme.

                              Apple IPhone — Wrong Commitments and Bad service

                              Dear Sir,

                              I am from India and came USA for some business trip here.. i went to AT&T store and bought one Apple Iphone there . When i was buying that phone , nobodyh told me that i won't be able to use the same on my indian Sim card.. I specifically confirmed from sales Person that it will work in India... he asked me to register the same on Internet with Itunes.. when i opened my box and connected myh phone with Internet , The system thrown an error that it can't be activated.. I went to store next day again and asked the reason. they asked me to buy prepaid sim Card .. and i bought the same and paid 10 dollers for talktime..

                              I tried again by putting new sim card .. but still its not working and even my phone is not getting activated.. I called Apple care centre and AT&T care centre several time .. but no help found.. Finally i decided to return back this box .. so went to store.. But Cashier refused to refund myh full moneyh back.. she told me that she will deduct 10% of the full amount .. which is approx 40 $ and also i bought accessories of this phone of 30$ from other store which is also not of any use.. When i asked the reason .. she told me that I dont have SSN number .. that's why my phone is not getting activated.

                              I told her that i am just visitor to India and don't know many rules o[censored]SA.. and nobodyhh told me even when i was buying the box.. and also how come myh SIM card o[censored]SA number (which i bought from the same shop is workingh without SSN number )...

                              Vodafone — Extremely rude and Provocative Customer care response

                              Extreme dissatisfaction with the customer care response.

                              I have a vodafone gujarat pre-paid connection. I wanted information on Home Calling Card and International Roaming. Regarding that, I made query at a nearby Vodafone store, but wasn't satisfied with the response. So I called the customer care to get info on the same. It was answered by some Satish Giblani or Ritiesh Giblani. I couldn't get the name right, as he was not willing to tell that again.

                              The attitude and mannerism of the executive were very bad, rude and provocative. First of all, I was not met with a satisfactory response. On my insistence to check again and tell, I was met with responses such as: "You think you are so smart that you know more than us?", "You think you know more than customer care executives?", "I will bar all your calls". On my request to connect me to a senior personnel, I was told "We can't do that", "You don't know how to ask and we are not destined to answer you". On my suggestion that he being a customer care executive, should be talking to customer properly, there were really bad responses. I was told to do whatever I can and the phone was disconnected rudely.

                              On calling again, the same person answered the call and gave no info again but told the he will not be answering me.

                              Vodafone — No Action and No Reaction from Compnay

                              I paid my February bill on the due date ie., 23 February 2008 at a teleshoppe in Malleswaram, Bangalore. it was not credited to my account. I had to make too many calls and a second visit to Malleswaram to take care of it. Finally I was told the amount will be credited to my account as on 3 March 2008. I made yet another call on 6 March 2008 and that is when the amount was credited to my account. I asked why is it so..when I paid the amount on 23 February and the response was oh that is the way things work out if you pay in tele shoppe. I have been a customer for 5 years now and I know that is not the way Hutch used to work. I have made numerous calls to customer service and nobody bothered to even apologize leave alone get me to talk to supervisor. The service that I got is really pathetic. I had a previous complaint back in[protected] which I had to pay a huge amount because the representative did not explain the price plan properly. Nobody has taken care of anything till date. It seems Vodafone is going to dogs.

                              I enabled the new STD pack (Rs. 1.3/min) after reading from their website that there are no hidden charges for the same. I lost all my free calls and SMS after I enabled this. When I called the customer care, they checked the database and said that my free SMS are still valid and asked me to try sending a SMS and call customer care again. I tried sending a SMS and I was charged and when I called them back they were talking to me very rude. They took a complaint from me when I threatened them with consumer court. Then they closed the complaint quietly and when I called them back they are rude to the core. I have never seen any customer care that is so rude as these guys. Please don't believe their advertisements of friendly customer care. They are big cheaters and rude people.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I have been using yr service from last few months, my no is [protected].

                              1) I have Opt for Direct Debit Service and give the Request along with Cancelled chq on 25 March 08, but Unfortunately I have not got call from ([protected] and [protected]) yr concern Dept that this service will start from next month, I will have to pay the bill this time and form last 2 Months this Play is going on.
                              For this Clarification I have visited yr Sec 35 Outlet at least 4 to 5 times and the entire people who have attended me gave same COMMAN reply.

                              2) Also the bill for the Month of March 08, the copy has been SCANED by Mr. Ranjeet at Sec 35 Outlet about the offer which is mention on the Bill, No reply Till Date. They are not responsed. Then I go to Vodafone Store cantonment. The lady I don't know her name I think She's name Fool. I told everything but she not consider my complaint not at all. Just she forward to Mr.Palani. The Nonsense palanai also said No deposit. I told to him this is a problem take as complaint. He told Repeatedly no deposit found. I forward the compliant letter to manager. Then the complaint forward to yasmin (Retensions) Naveen Plaza Woraiyur. She said I forward this compliant to AlAmeen. Ms Yasmin told it takes 1 week I forward a mail to credit and collections. But she also no response. I spoke to Mr. Alameen He told there is a wrongly transferred to another account. But the credit and collection department not take this complaint. I ask to him why? Not take? Because this num used from more than a year So if the problem rectified now. Then our senoirs asks why not detect this problem from one year. He also request to wait 1 week again. After 1 week I called up just he picked the call and told I will speak after 5 miinis. Still he not at all response always not reachable.

                              1. In the month of April i came to know that one 'Astrology' service is activated on my account since February. I never recieved any sms for that service till that day, and i asked for immediate stoppage of the service from that day and refund of money. From that day onwards i have started recieving astrology sms...I am a firm believer in science and astrology is against my concience... now everyday morning i fear the same astrology sms... This was in the month of april.. i have complained to Vodafone customer care atleast 8 times since then. Everytime i call, they take the complain and say the same will be done soon and i wont recieve any more sms, but to no benefit.. i still recieve the msg.. Every time the service executive tell they are raising new complaint with new request no. I an fed up with that. Recently during my last call to customer care, i came to know about a new development, this service are activated since september, as against February as was conveyed during numerous calls earlier..
                              I am a busy person and to save cost for fodafone, have stopped for paper bill. I believed that Vodafone is a company of repute and they will charge me fairly so i never check my bill, and pay the dues based on sms bill confirmation. Now after using Vodafone for last 1 year my views have changed and i surely know i have been cheated and there is no one to take care of the problem. HAPPY TO HELP is a FARCE... As we dont have number portability service, i am not is position to do any thing but beg for service.. Can someone help this poor helpless customer??

                              The customer service of vodafone is so pathetic that once you put a service call to them for any service activation they will assure you that this service will be activated with in 24 hours but the situation is so bad, I had sent a blackberry service activation request on 24th June & till date 1 July it is not done.                               Let me tell you my problem first.. I had a 119 plan (which has 100 sms free/day, 50 paise all over India and 50 paise national sms and 1year validity). I recharged with 101 for talktime on 19/10/2009 and the reference number is RM[protected]. I got only 1.01 paise in my account. Also, my plan has been changed to a crap plan. Hence I called up customer care and talked to Mr. Anand (CCE) and he lodged a complaint for me to get 101 talk time and 119 plan back. The complaint number is [protected] and it has not resolved as per the time mentioned (21/10/2009 6.00pm). Hence I called up again and Mr. Dowel (customer service executive) talked to me in harsh way. Again in the night 9.30, I called up and aftre a 15 min hold, Mr Vijay (TL) picked up my call and he promised me that I will get talktime and old plan within next day 6.00pm. I have waited and no response and noone resolved the issue.


                              Hence again, I called up and talked to few customer service exectives (Alok, Aswini etc). After so many requests, somebody transfered the call to Mr DAVID. He also gave a fake promise that it will be done within 24 hours and he will give a call back by 23/10/2009 before 7. He didnt keep his promise.. When I tried to call again, my calls to customer care is barred.. Hence today I again contacted customer care from another number and Mr. PRAVEEN (TL) has picked up the call and he also talked to me harshly and didnt resolve my issue.. I have never called to customer care unnecessarily.. Also, I am a regular customer who recharges atleast for Rs. 2500 a month,. See, if this is the way you treat a regular customer, you will not grow much even though you give good offers.

                              ANYWAYS I AM GIVING A COMPLAIN IN CUSTOMER COMPLAINT FORUM..

                              I am a vodafone customer from past 2 months.Right from the day of taking the connection I was facing some sort of problem with the services.At the time of activation I opted for a plan 155 (daily 150 sms free) and also activated South std pack(39).For the first one month there was no problem with the pack.But after one month my balance was automatically debited by 39 rupees but the south pack was not activated.When i called to customer care they did'nt responded properly.Each one said different stories regarding this.At last after 10 days of my quarrel with customer care they said that the south pack will not be applicable for my plan and 39 rupees was credited back into my account.So,i was very disappointed and continued with the same tarrifs(1.50 std) througout the month.And again yesterday #9 rupees was debited from my account.When I called to CC they said that southpack was activated for me.I felt so happy and when I tried to call STD Again I was shocked to see that Rs.1.50 isbeing deducted.And when i tried to CC the call was not being tranferred to CC executive.So I was vexed with this Service and complaining about this issue.

                              This is something to bring your knowledge about the customer service provided by vodafone to the customer. It is something devastating and so stupid services that's been provided to the customer. What happen in the month of december I had a word with one of the customer care executive and that guy when I asked for the supervisor or manager he started abusing on the phone as the there was the service which is Missed call alerts that was activatedby error however, I received the confirmation from vodafone the service will be activated in5 hours however I called the vodafone to cancell the service and spoke to Shahnawaz in December and that guy started abusing I called again and Spoke to Team Leader Gaurav Roy and he assured me and asked to call back on 5 jan 2010 to get the money waved off but was not here was in abroad so couldnt contact ut the phone was left here in India. when I returned I had the conversation with vodafone couple of time but due to shortfall in time so could not get hold off any one. Today I spoke to Ankur he did the same without transferring the call to supervisior he again transferred the call to somewhere where i kept waiting there for haly n hour and also he said there is no one available on floor. I again called up and spoke to Bhim he transferred the call to supervisior Jagdeep Mahajan and got no resolution and he asked me to again write down to you. Its not about the money but also about the customer service that you guys are providing to the customer. Its frustrating and the person could not speak to the supervisior regarding the same. This is my last mail to Vodafone and still if I do not get proper responce I have to go to TRI servcies regarding the same. This is my fourth mail to Vidafone can anyone reply me on that please its really getting frustating for me to hanndel all this as my outgoing call have been barred but have made the payment from easy shop for the payment for Rupees 520/. The money was paid on Thursday but still have not received so could you please help me. The vodafone number do not provide the proper service.                               Dear All,

                              It is necessary to share recent experience with Vodafone personal, the kind o[censored]nethical practice they are undertaking by sharing the contact number o[censored]sers. Now days we are getting calls on our private numbers asking for recovery of bill not paid by other customer. And when discussed, they bluntly & proudly ask us to pay the bill at the earliest and in case of not paying the bill; they give us threatening as well... we are really surprised, how anyone can ask me to pay others bills. And when asked how did you got my number, they have an argument that my number is saved as secondary number for further queries... This is really amazing, I am really not able to understand; the number I am carrying since 2004 now is shared with Vodafone for queries or issues o[censored]nknown person... Icing on the cake is; they neither have proof nor are able to show my number is shared for anyone’s issues or query.

                              I have decided to take-up this matter with court and challenge the Vodafone for maintaining the database and personal contacts for their customer...

                              Vodafone might be increasing their customers and network but sadly they are unaware of the term 'Consumer Service'.
                              Vodafone is great at launching new advertisement and schemes but they lack in the very basic thing called 'Consumer Service.' You will experience the same when you visit a vodafone store and that will frustrate you to such a height like never before.
                              I have been visiting vodafone store daily on account of my lost Sim and i have achieved none other than disappoinment by the end of the day. They have misbehaved, talked rudely and shouted at me. Moreover they kepy on delaying things for the next day and made me visit their store daily and wait there for a couple of hours before telling me that they were unable to process my complain.
                              It is my request to you mobile phone users to boycott the service if i can even call vodafone a service provider

                              it's been very long time since i am calling the blackberry helpline but all they do is that sir u please reboot d set or do some changes in the settings but the problem remains d same...
                              following are d problems that i m facing:-
                              1. the browsing speed is really very very slow..yet when i try and brows late at night it works well..
                              2. he facebook applications it keeps on refreshing the stream but later on it says unable to contact the server...
                              3. blackberry application world is also not able to contact the application server....

                              the people at the vodafone store are really inefficient as it took 12 days for them to get my cheque cleared from my account.....

                              How Vodafone cheated me of Rs 550 rupees

                              I have a kerala sim card and tried to recharge Rs 550 in Bangalore. I got SMS to pay the vendor and I paid him Rs 550. But then later, I got a message that my sim card is successfully recharged to Rs 0.0. I tried local complaints, but they asked me to call Kerala. I tried Kerala number and prereocorded message came that it is temporarily out of service. Then I called Nodal Officer, and she said my amount has got to some world call or somthing. She said she would register a complaint. Even after than, I did not get my Rs 550 credited. Then I started getting various messages such as PIN Number, PINLess call, and so on. But when I checked my balance, I found Rs 550 was not credited yet. Then I called the appellete authority and then she said she would call back, but no call came. That is how Vodafone cheated me of Rs 550.

                              I am getting nonsense messages and phone calls from the no:[protected]. He is torturing me a lot. Could you please provide the address of that number.
                              Although I have been pleasantly surprised by the overall level of customer service provided by Vodafone India (relative to other service providers), there is an issue that I would like to bring up through this forum.

                              On a business trip to Kandla, Gujarat, I had subscribed for a temporary prepaid vodafone connection (ph no. [protected]). I had enrolled for an SMS plan ( SMS 102). At the end of a month, I received a text message indicating that my SMS plan was 'moved' to a lesser plan due to insufficient balance. I suspected that this meant that there was a recharge on the plan. I called customer service to cancel any possible renewals on my account. I spoke to a representative called Mahipal Sinhvag, who assured me that there would be no such renewals.

                              However, the very next day, there was a charge of approximately around Rs. 25 on my account. I called customer service to clarify the same. The agent named Mayur (at the Ahmedabad Service Centre) who refused to accept that a mistake could have been made. I demanded him to transfer me to his supervisor upon which I spoke to Vaibhavi, Senior Executive (Ahmedabad Service Centre). She told me that she would talk to Mahipal and get back to me on the same issue.

                              About 20 minutes later, I received a call from Mahipal where he accepted the mistake. However, he said that he would have to personally recharge my account since Vodafone would not be willing to reverse the charges. He said that he would try to complete the recharge by the 11th of July, 2010.

                              Whether or not he actually performs the recharge, I think this policy followed by Vodafone is incorrect and results in staunchly adamant customer service representatives when it comes to accepting genuine mistakes. If the error was to the amount of Rs. 1000 instead of Rs. 25, I think the issue would have taken a different path.

                              Errors such as these have to be borne by the company and not by the customer service representative.

                              Vodafone — Caller Identification disabled

                              I caller identification has been disabled by Vodafone without informing me, i have been using the same number since last 2 years, all of a sudden i got a SMS saying your caller identification has been disabled,

                              one day one Mr.Raj from vodafone came to my office for servey, he asked me to change my prepaid vodafone to postpaid as there are good offers, i told him that i need it but i am planning to change my residence & if he is willing to give me postpaid in my office address thaen i am ready to change it, thereafter he was after me & phoned me after 10 / 10 min, requesting me that he only 1st bill will sent to my residence address & thereafter he will change it to my office address, accordingly he collected all the relevant documents from me, chage it from prepaid to post paid, thereafter also i received bills in my residence address, then i hace changed my residence from Mulund to Airoli, i was locating Mr.Raj, but thereafter he never lifted my phone, i went to Gallery for change of address, but they are not ready to change on my sale aggreement (beacuse i was hahaving that much of proof for change of addres) neither they co operate to made it again for prepaid., i really got faid up to call in toll free nos, asking them again & agian for help, then i have stopped using the phone, discontinue for using it myself, befor that i was regularly making the payment & still i would have paid by seeing the bill from internet, but i want to stop my billing whcich are going to my old address., i really faidup, now i am not interested in vodafone & kindly discontinue my vodafone no.from your record then only i will make the payment which is due., kindly do the needful at immediate if you require the payment

                              I was asked to submit address proof and photo for some verification. When i called customer and said tat i have already submitted these details, he asked me to verify my address. When i gave him my address, he said that the same is reflecting in his records and therefore no need to submit the address proof or photo. But all of a sudden my caller ID has been disabled. There was no SMS or call to mention the disabling of service. When vodofone can send many SMS and Automated calls o[censored]seless promotional offers of their worthless product, why cant they intimate such things before disabling. I just threw the vodofone SIM and went for Airtel. [censored] O** vodofone..

                              Vodafone customer care center — I submitted Address Proof in Vodafone customer care center

                              Hi ,

                              I sumitted my address proof on 19 thOctober 2010 in AnnaNagar West Vodafone customer care center ,still not active my service for incoming call numbers in it showing praive numbers and im not able ot reach incoming calls
                              This is in regards to a few things that I have faced with vodafone. First thing was that I asked them not to contact on my alternate number that they have with them unless I do not make a payment till due date, still they keep calling at my alternate number and provide all bill details to my parents.

                              Second was, I was charged with a late payment fee. However, I made a payment online on the due date and got confirmation from both my bank and vodafone. They charge me the fee in the next bill. When I contacted the customer service, the rep told me it take 3 days for the payment to go through. I couldn't understand that if the payment take 3 days, why did they sent a confirmation. The rep simply told me that he cannot do anything and cannot assist me and asked me to contact my bank. Also said "its completely your fault not ours". I was shocked to hear the reply. What kind of a customer service was that? He was blaming me for making payment on due date.

                              I simply told him that I have been using vodafone for six years now and will not continue anymore and never choose vodafone again in future. The reply was "Okay".

                              Also they called me few months back and said they are updating vodafone caller tune for free for my number. Then they charged me downloading charges on the bill. The customer service rep said he don't know anything about it and will not reverse any charges or fees. I didn't had any problem with making the payment, I just needed an explanation as to why they charge me fee and why don't they mention thing on the confirmation message they send. The rep asked me, without me asking him, "would you like me to waive the fee?". I said yes. The reply was "I cannot". "It is completely your fault".

                              I am working for a international bank where we refund fees to customers in many cases just to retain them and provide them a good customer service experience. And if we compare the fee in Indian currency, it would be in thousands. I don't think vodafone cares for their customer. Loosing one customer wouldn't effect them much.

                              I have two vodafone connections and I will be changing the service provider very soon.

I am a doctor at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. Recently my caller ID was turned off since I hadn't turned in my address proof. I was on duty the whole weekend and I requested them to turn on the caller id for one day and that I would submit the address proof in one day. It is imperative that I had my caller id turned on since I work at a hospital and I need to know who is calling me just in case I miss the call and need to call them back. It is not for my entertainment that I need the ID turned back on.
                              When I requested them politely, they were not helpful or willing to listen to my problem. They would not even look up to talk to me. Instead they made me wait and then told me that it is not possible to turn it back on.
                              For being reputed to be the most customer friendly service in India, I am sorry to say that Vodafone does NOT live up to its reputation.
                              TO, vodafone i have been using y service since last 8 year i am so much fed up w your service my no [protected] .I have been over billed sevaral time &now you have cross t limit by charging a bill off 14450 which is10time m regular bill. I visited personally t y byculla gallery on 10, 11, 12, jan to give me bill to my shock i was inform i have been bill for using internet service, I have never used interned on my phone in my life, then another shock was given that you have been charge every month.now my outgoing call is stoped frm 14 jan that time my unbilled usage was 83rupee but on 17jan my unbilled usage is 345rupee.boss pls stop this nuisance as iam fed up with y service. send me detail bill on my email add [protected]@yahoo.co.in off full 1year . frm sayed zahid

I have called the customer care at least 10-15 times in a week's time but everyone gives one common reply to send an SMS to 111 which I have sent nearly 15 times but still the same.                               This mail is in regards to my mobile number – [protected]. I would like this mail to be considered as an official complaint for VODAFONE customer services. I would really like to put many points I have been ignoring from the past few months. I would humbly request you to go through the below mentioned points and kindly come up with a solution or I am afraid that I might even end up taking it further.

                              • Firstly whenever I ask a question or make any requests from any of the customer care executives the answer is always NO. e.g. – If I request them to take my pre announcement for bill payment off they say a straight NO in my face. I have a limit of more than 7000 Rupees, I really don’t get the point why is my services barred for an amount due for 1200 Rupees.
                              • Secondly the most important drawback of your service desk is that they don’t know the importance of the hold time informed to the customer, any customer service agent will take permission for hold of 2 minutes but I have never experienced a hold less than 8 – 15 minutes in average.

                              I would humbly request you to look into the above matter mentioned in this e-mail and come up with a solution on priority, keeping in mind the importance of the mobile device in our day to day life.

                              Today i visited the Vodafone store to change my tariff plan. It was the andheri west juhu lane store. I was made to wait for 30 mins after which when I inquired about how much time would it take I was told very rudely by the store incharge that "can't you see how many people are there" . On asking him that if I was treated so rudely if I wanted to cancel my connection the incharge (Vishal i think his name was) replied that if i cant wait for half an hour I should drop a mail. When I reminded him that he was doing a very poor job at customer service he asked me to leave the store.

                              Treating a woman with no respect is now what vodafone stands for for me. Its highly unethical for a company like Vodafone to hire such people and treat loyal customers like that. Be rest assured that no one in my family will now use Vodafone.

                                [protected] Nishant Kumar Singh [protected]@gmail.com 20/09/2013 Dear sir/madam, It's nishant kumar singh i am disappointed with your service.I am having issues related to my vodafone postpaid number [protected].Vodafone care executive has done fraudism with me.On 13th of sept 2013 i received a call from vodafone care executive saying that sir we have an offer for you on postpaid connection now you can convert your vodafone prepaid number into vodafone postpaid number with best monthly tariff plan or talk plan.I told him to explain about talk plan he told me that your monthly rental will be of Rs 149 and you will get 600 mins std+local calls free and 400 sms local+national free per month without any security deposit after confirming again i told him ok send your executive for collecting documents. On 15th of sept 2013 they activated my number into postpaid on the sim they provided me.I was happy that my number has activated with best talk plan but on 17th of sept 2013 when i checked my vodafone postpaid number account details i was totally shocked as according to their commitment they had not given me the tariff plan they promised on my number before activation. Instead of Rs 149 they activated of Rs 199 monthly rental and even benefits they offered me was also changed instead of 600 mins they are giving 150 mins free calls per month and 100 sms. This is not fare you guys have done fraudism with me and cheated me.Such a big firm is playing cheap tricks with customers.If it was matter of lakhs or crores one can think its a big amount so you are cheating customers but it's the matter of only Rs 100 or 200 in such a small amount you are playing fraudism with your value able customers. I am using four numbers on your network and the monthly rental is same on all the numbers with benefits.Monthly rental is Rs 149 and 600 mins free calls std+local per month and 400 sms national+local free per month on my numbers [protected],[protected] [registered on the name of nishant singh] [protected],[protected] [registered on the name of sumintra devi]. Now you must think that after getting these benefits on my four numbers why i will activate monthly rental of Rs 199 on my fifth number [protected].Vodafone guys told me that your monthly rental will be of Rs 149 and you will get 600 mins std+local calls free and 400 sms local+national free per month without any security deposit after confirming i activated my number [protected] into postpaid. Now you have changed my monthly rental and benefits that was promised by you.Because of poor service i closed my number [protected] and i think if the situation will remain same then slowly i will have to leave your network or close my numbers permanently.So, its my request please look into the matter and activate my tariff plan with benefits that was promised by your executive as soon as possible. Otherwise i will have to close my numbers as my previous number [protected] was closed.Do not disappoint customers you should think you are because of customers that are using your network.Such a big firm has given you facilities for satisfying customers not for disappointing customers.And one thing more i am not able to talk to customer care executive on 111,198 or [protected] from past two days see this is your service.                                     Been with you years,this is the first complaint I have put in,after receiving my new blackberry phone,found out phones audio wasn't working,sent it back,it was a white phone,they told e to keep the back,plus battery and sim, They sent me a black phone of which I have put my white back on to it,looks pretty stupid,a new back is 25£" Vodafone credded me 15 £""plus then I had to wait for a new sim,that was another 2days,,on top of that all my music is lost now,86songs of which I purchased over years with Vodafone,,feel a little bit naffed off at the moment, G ardron.[protected]"

                                        vodafone has cheated me from last 1 year they dont send bills on residence address,they dont have proper network and dont have proper customer care,when the times comes for payement they call customer from due date itselfy,my number is [protected],and account number is 1.23245492,i have geven many complaints on 198 toll free number,been to vodafone stores,and called up customer care people but then also no help from voadafone prople i have around 3 connections from vodafone and im going to change all this becouse vodafone has cheated us many times they send legal notice in which a legal person name Hari with mobile number=[protected],when ever i called up this person he doesnt take any call,i have msged him many times no solutions from vodafone ,before also i have given complaint in this website but no response,even emailing to nodal officer and cirle head office and branch office,my problem is not solved till today....below im attch email send to legal & all vodafone email ids..if any 1 can help me kindly call me on [protected]
