I have been using vodafone since 2009 and suddenly since 8-9 months I am facing network problems and malpractice of billing on my vodafone number [protected].
20th of every month is my billing date and usually as per computation, I use upto Rs 3000 of calls/sms/3G. But before and after 20th, the bill shows more than my credit limit, (i.e- 9000). I have seen more than online bill of Rs.13, 400 when i dial *111*1*1# or call on 111 or chat online with vodafone executive. They have no answers about the usage. They use to answer, on 20th, you will be getting the bill summary in detail, there you can check the usage.
But whenever the bill date arrives, the bill comes down to the real amount i.e- 2000/3000). I have already complained about the problem to TRAI and they failed to sort it out.
Today is 20/02/2015, I checked my bill, it was Rs. 2268.90 and unbilled amount was Rs 74. After That, I visited their website and paid an amount of Rs.2600, because I have opted for portability to airtel and Airtel exe told me to pay some extra money in advance to avoid outstanding amount as the process will take 4-7 days.
After paying the bill, it was showing Rs -331 as current bill and Rs 80 as outstanding. then again after 5 minutes I checked my vodafone bill, it was 110 and then after half an hour it was 120.
I don't know, how they are billing me as I use wifi at home and office and while driving, I don't use phone. Also, I took a screenshot of my call summary (phone) and the bill usage that is showing in their website of my vodafone.
I need to port out of vodafone ASAP. Also, if there is any law against the malpractice, let me know, so I can sue them with proper evidence about mental harrasment of showing bills more than actual.

Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
My number is [protected]. I have been charged 405.00/- RS for internet calling or some internet charges, wherein I have not used that.
I have 2g 1gb package activated on my plan. Apart from that I never use it. If you check my all previous records I have never crossed the data package as I have wifi conneection at my residence & office.
Request you to kindly check for the same.
Also I have been charged 50.00 rs as late payment charge for [protected] & [protected]. I had deposited the cheque in your vashi drop box on 18th of Feb. Then also why have I been charged the late payment fee. If there is a delay from your end in collecting the cheque why am I been penalized. If this is not going to be sorted I plan to port out to some other network with all my numbers.
After which I recvd an email stating the late payment fee is waived off but internet charges vant be waived off as it shows in their system that I have used it ... I have received the itemised bill which says the charges are between 2nd till 7th feb & after that theere is no charges. How come this works ... My billing cycle is the 1st of every month & on 19th feb I have received a sms from Vodafone stating that I have used 200.00 MB of data.

in 1hr of payment my nos were deactivated for SC.But voda has again sent me bill as on 25/3/15 ie monthly bill dt and is sending reminders to pay it with penal charges 1st thing Voda can not raise bill as on 25/3 under such situation.So I sent n number of clarifying mails.In reply voda laimed that they have received Rs700/- on 11/3 which is next to impossible It means my amt is adjusted to some other account..Despite my submitting copy of card statement voda is not accepting it/reconciling my payments properly I request your honor to take up d matter with d co to take back false bill/release me nos under portebility to BSNL as I don't want to continue with voda on return ti India on 6 jul Thanking you sir

In the middle of March, 2015 (before March 18, 2015), I personally went to the office of Vodafone in Navi Mumbai, near Vashi railway station.
I spoke to a person (DIMPLE), to put both my phones on hold for six months. I am a non resident Indian, and SHE INFORMED ME THAT IT WOULD COST ME RS.50 PER MONTH ON EACH OF THE PHONE. SHE CHECKED THE REMAINING CREDIT ON BOTH PHONES AND TOLD ME THAT I HAD ENOUGH OF THE CREDIT BALANCE ON BOTH NUMBERS. NOT TO WORRY.
ON 18TH OF MARCH I LEFT INDIA TO COME BACO MY HOME IN SEATTLE, USA. I REACHED USA ON THE SAME DAY, BECAUSE OF THE 12+ HOURS TIME DIFFERENCE. THE SAME DAY I TOOK OUT MY SIM CARDS FROM BOTH THE PHONES AND STORED THEM AWAY WITH MY PASSPORTS, TO BE USED WHILE I AM BACK IN INDIA.
WHY AM I BEING BILLED FOR THE PHONES THAT HAVE NOT BEEN USED? WHAT HAPPENED TO MY CREDIT BALANCE?
DO YOU HAVE SOME EMPLOYEE, OFFICER OR OR OTHER PERSON(S), WHO MIGHT BE PILFERING FROM THE CREDIT BALANCES OF YOUR CUSTOMERS? ARE YOUR COMPUTERS TO BE BLAMED FOR THESE ERRORS/
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MY ACCOUNTS.
ALSO, PLEASE SEND ME THE ADDRESS OF VODAFONE HEAD OFFICE IN MUMBAI, AND THE NAME(S) OF THE DIRECTORS, INCLUDING THE MANAGING DIRECTOR, WHO SHOULD BE AWARE OF THIS TYPES OF TRANSACTIONS.
