I purchased a vodafone number on 23/11/14. It got activated on 25/11/14 with the following number [protected].
On 01/12/14 the outgoing services on my number were disconnected were disconnected without any intimation. They disconnected my 3g services also which I use to travel around Delhi NCR as I'm not familiar with the routes which is the primary reason I purchased a Vodafone sim card.
Not only I couldn't call my family members, I couldn't even call the customer care as they barred that service as well.
After a lot of struggle I got connected to the customer service which told me they got a negative review on their field visit, which translates into that there was no one present at my home when they visited. They even say they called me at that time. My home has someone present 24hours. When asked to prove they had visited my home or called me or I had received a call they failed to do it.
I threw away my old number since I had a new one, for 5 days I had given everyone at my new job and all my clients this number. After repeated requests and number of calls they failed to do anything regarding the matter. Today also their Supervisor in the customer care department promised me my number would be functional within 4 hours but nothing happened. The Nodal Officer does not even answer calls and when asked for the email to send a written complaint I was refused.
I have proof for everything mentioned above. They have mentally and physically harassed me in a manner which I cant explain in words.
I would request you to take the harshest of the possible decision against the service provider to teach them a lesson and get me some level of relief.
