I am a prepaid mobile phone user with Airtel from over 2 years now.
I recharged my phone accidentally for Rs.244/- which allowed unlimited Airtel to Airtel calls and 1GB 4G internet daily for 60 days. I had been recharging for Rs. 349/- earlier which gave unlimited local+STD call and 1 GB 4G internet daily for 28 days. Since it was an honest error I did not complained about it. However from last 20 days Airtel has been charging me for data services. I complained once and explained them that they were incorrectly charging me for data when they refunded Rs.90/- and I told them that there is a problem and if I enabled data I would be charged again but they said it wouldn't happen . They also mentioned that I didn't had a 4G handset/sim hence might have been charged but both the SIM and the phone are 4G enabled as the same services had been working for over 6 months now.
Post that I have tried using net and have even posted screen shots of the data charges and the data availability on Facebook too but not touch relief.
I have yet lost over 100/- to data charges though I still had and have data pack available.
Hoping the team @ consumer complaints would be able to assist.

    Actually am working abroad (West Africa)
    so i can't recharged my airtel number after that blocked my number
    But i need the same airtel number(+91 [protected]) because of my all communication and my important bank acc, government record and my personal accounts everything attached this number.

      I was trying to recharge my mobile number since yesterday. The transactions are failed/unsuccessful. I tried from Airtel App, Paytm app. Both couldn't resolve my issues.

      I am in a very critical situation now can't contact any one due to insufficient balance. Kindly resolve my issue at the earliest.

        I have recharged the 399 plan of airtel in last month.After two days they discontinued providing the regular 1 gb data according to the plan which should be provided for 28 days.I talked with the customer care executive and follow all the instructions given by them.Still my problem has not be resolved.Its the second time I am facing the same problem with the same plan. That's why I have decided to complain about this.

          Sir,
          I always pay my postpaid bill in time except for the month of May which was due on the 27.05.2017. However, after
          getting reminder I paid the bill of Rs. 190/- on the 7.06.2017 vide E-Receipt No. 73416140. Then after a few days I again I receive a message showing that my bill has the previous balance too. However, on the 14.06.2017 I again made the payment of Rs. 190/- vide E-Receipt No.[protected]. The Customer Care recognized that they received only the second payment. Kindly check my payment made on the 7.06.2017.

            Dear Airtel,

            Again I am dissapointed with you.

            I wanted to recharge my airtel no. [protected] with the amount of Rs. 399 on 02/07/2017 through Pnb banking but such transaction was cancelled and I could not get the benefit of recharge & my amount was deducted from the bank A/c which has not been reversed yet.

            I have already sent you the mail regarding the same having reference no . given below -
            The airtel customer care refrence no. is CONRC[protected]

            But the response I got from you to wait till 10 working days. I mean to resolve this issue you need 10 days ??? Really?? How you guyz handling such a big brand if you need 10 days for such a small issue. I don't know about your working but I am not that free to wait till so long.
            I am a professional working man, carrying a field job. I can't carry my laptop everywhere. So I need to use my phone to handle my work. Because of you my work is stopped .

            I ask you, can you wait till 1 week without using your phone???

            Now I am in nowhere, whether I should do another recharge or wait for 10 working days.

            Right now you making me feel that I made a big mistake to buy airtel connection. & if this is so then I would never recomemend anyone to buy Airtel.

            I itself gonna port this to another reliable telecommunication co. after your response .

            Kindly look into this and resolve my issue as soon as possible.

            Still I expect & believe as old customer that you will understand & help me in this concern by this week only.

              Today i have experienced the worst service from airter, i am still baring my patience. I recharged for the amount 349 from airtel payment banks, got message saying its failed but my money got deducted. I called help desk 4 times, no proper response from them. I told them to transfer this call to senior guy, they disconnected, it was very embarrassing and i am help less.

              Dear airtel, please understand the user situation and atleast try to help. First provide good service, then you post your fake tv ads and all.

                This is Subbulakshmi. I am using Airtel post paid connection from years. From last two months, I kept calling customer care for updating my billing address. Once I visited Airtel showroom in April month and have given my aadhar proof also to update my billing address. I changed my corporate plan to normal postpaid plan. Now I am not getting my bill also. I am not finding right forum to escalate this issue. Even if I complaint to customer care also, there is no use. Today I called to customer care at around 2:10pm.and they put my call on hold for 20min and finally I cut my call since they doesn't seem to reply from long time.                     I am having this issue since few days. I had airtel postpaid for my number [protected] which i ported to Tamilnadu(Chennai circle) and also converted to it to prepaid.

                    But when I go for recharge either through my airtel app or any other recharge websites, it detects the number randomly. Sometimes as a postpaid number or sometimes a kolkata number.

                    Can you please resolve this issue asap. I am not able to recharge my number and already 349 has been deducted two times from bank account while recharging through my airtel app due to failed
                    recharge. When I call customer care they have no idea about it and say the system is down.

                      This is Pankaj was using an Airtel number [protected] for which you can find the escalation in the trail mail .
                      I was informed that my bill was discounted and I can go to the store and get it converted into the prepaid.
                      But my bill was not discounted so I didn’t visit the store .

                      Today (5th june 2017) I received a call [protected] (noushad) to pay the bill (automated voice call) and I asked for the assistance
                      And then I received a call from [protected] to pay the bill when I told him the issue and also I told him that due to this issue I will not pay my bill, then he started talking rudely that my all the numbers will get blocked and when I will reach the store they will kick me out and so on and then I disconnected the call.(for confirmation you can listen the recording 9:53 am)

                          This mail is regarding the deactivation of the account number [protected] including dsl connection. I have called you several times before but nothing has been done till now so i am not going to pay bills from now onward as this was put to your notice in the month of january.
                          You guys are generating false bills every month, even after giving calls to your customer care. Each call is not less than half an hour but all in vain.
                          You guys are harassing me now to pay the amount i did not used, because i no more live in the same city anymore since january.
                          I do not know what else to do to bring this to your notice that i am not using that account please deactivate ie and delete it. Please take note of this and delete this account completely..

                            This in reference to several complaints to AIRTEL, many of which have been marked as resolved in my airtel app.

                            Few of these complaint numbers on are: 77461694, 77434792, 77350120, 50093173, 50074146, 50035389, 49888925, 49915771.

                            It has been more than a week that I am without any 4G network. Airtel customer care as well as executives from nodal office and appellate confirmed that airtel backend, by mistake, deactivated my 4G access.

                            But no one has yet been able to get the back-end activate my 4G services. Each time each executive gives me the same assurance- "by today evening, your 4G service will ge reactivated.

                            This kind of customer service leaves me no choice but to shift to some other network service provider that offers prompt resolution to issues faced by customers.

                            I have more than 26 GB internet left unused; but you will definitely charge me full without offering any service. This is also a model case that can easily go to consumer court.

                            Now they went ahead and deactivated my 3G network as well without any authorization from my end. I got an sms that my 3G network has been deactivated.

                              But more than 32 hrs gone till now my no is not started.. So whose going to pay the bill of this no as this not is not working its a pospaid connection and i need this no urgently.
                              Secondly i complained more than 15 times regarding network issue on all my no [protected] but there is no response from your side customer care support said that at that location we need repeater so what can i do... I m not expected this thing from airtel.. Right i have 5 postpaid connection.. And i don't think it work like that..

                                My Airtel number [protected], I loaded the 5000/- to make the payment. When I am trying to pay this it says that your debit transaction are blocked. Several time written the compliant to Customer care and next level. First time they asked me some id proof and address proof same was send to the airtel money team. Till now issue was not resolved and I asked for 3 question no ans from there side.

                                1. Reason for blocking
                                2. Incase any issue reversal to source of load
                                3. No clear information at the time of airtel money account creation

                                I understand one thing airtel money was doing big cheating the customers blocking their money for no reason. and what they do is post a copy pasted msg after every complain

                                  I had airtel broadband connection at my home. This was my broadband number[protected]. I would like to tell you that I have made many complain regarding speed connectivity but none of was solved and once I am getting call for bill payment that time I got to know that no complain was registered by the executive. So I requested to forward my complain to the advisor who had called me for payment. I was very frustated about this and was facing speed connectivity in my house . So I decided to move out of your service.But you people only want money and don't want to resolve customer query.Why should I pay for the bad service. I agreed to pay one month bill because I used that net with a speed of 800kbs and in next month I faced speed issue and was getting 300kbs and 400kbs and 500kbs and 80kbs so I made a complain but complain was not registered by your advisor then again I called and requested that engineer should visit.But no one came and then I throw out the set up box because of connectivity issue and called to customer care that please stop the service. But I do not know this that everytime advisor was making fool of me and didn't registered the complian.In december month one engineer visit my house that time he told me to change the plan and i changed it but aftervthat also i was facing issue.Then why should I pay for the service which is no use.Finally your service closed and one message came that your servise is stopped.And after every 15 days I am getting calls from your collection department and they are offering me wavier but never want to give the resolution.I will pay money but only for one month.Next month I was getting very poor service so I will not pay.And your people who is not from your company harrasing me and talk like they are torturing me for payment. I will made a complain about this and also twits about this cimpalin.Today I am posting this issue on your form too and Airtel ceo too that you people only harrasing customer not giving service.
                                  Today I got call from your side and she was just ordering me and talking with me like this that she will kill me.Now I have decides to changed my dth service also and postpaid cinnection also .I am using 4 numbers and 5 dth connection my family and all will be changed to other.Thanks for the service and I will again say to you that i will pay for one month only not more than this.
                                  And if I get a call like today then I will not pay a single penny and make a complain.

                                    I raised a request for relocation of my Broadband within same society in Noida on 25th June. Disconnection was done the very next day, however I am still struggling to get it activated & it has been more than 12 days. Every day I have to make follow ups and am assured that it will be done but of no use. Pathetic Service, I have no option now to switch to another player.

                                      I had made a recharge of Rs. 200/- on 02/07/17 on my prepaid Airtel number [protected] via Airtel mobile App which was showing that I will get talk time of Rs. 220 (Transaction Id [protected]).

                                      Before this recharge my balance was 11/-. But after the recharge total talktime I had was 182/-. I waited for 48 hours as this may be in a scheme, but after expiry of 55 hours noting is credited on my Airtel talk time balance.

                                      Why Airtel has to give a false Advt. if they cann't keep their promises.
