I applied for Airtel 4 G broadband connection with Airtel. They sold a device to me for 4 k and activated a sim. But nobody came for installation . After waiting for 10 days I called the customer care but they told that number itself not activated. But finally after 1 week continuous follow-up they came and fixed it.

The connection worked for only 15 days and suddenly stopped. Registered a complaint and they sent some guys to check. The service engineer told me signal lost and range is not there in this area so he ll spk to higher officials and do something .

But none came after that. Fedup with Airtel and team I decided to give up . Exactly two months after that I started getting calls in my alternate number for payment . They charged me for 3 months some 4.5k. they are giving me explanation that it's a 4 G and fixed cost. What stupidity is this ?? How can even they charge for connection which lost signal from their side.

From the day one I applied the connection Airtel didn't call me even single time. How they are calling me for payment and that too for the connection which worked for only 15 days. I paid 1.5 k for connection and 5 k for device. 6.5k loss for me.

And within few days after my discussion with customer care I got a call from their legal team . They started threatning me if I don't pay I will be filed a legal case.

I want to teach them a lesson. I'm filing a case against them in consumer court for cheating my 6.5 k and threatning me .

    This complaint is regarding charging telephone bills for connection that is not being used and was discontinue 6 months back. Back in Aug 2016 I had filed a request # 71308870 to shift telephone connection from my current location to new location to be moved. This was not attended for more than a month inspite of repeated followed. Finally the request was closed mentioning that connection cannot be provided to location I am moving in due to technical infeasibility there. Now I am charged with rentals for last 6 months and being followed up on daily basis on my cellphone. I am being threatened of dire consequences from the company.

    I would like to have hthese calls stopped and not charged for rentals as the shifting of connection was deemed technically infeasible at company's end

      I am a retired army officer using airtel postpaid mobile [protected] since long time. I am permanently settled down at defence colony Mamoon cantt (chatwal) I visited airtel outlet in mamoon cantt today for changing my mobile no from bangalore (karnataka) to mamoon (pb) however the sale executive demanded cash Rs1000 from me and told that it will be kept as a security deposit but they refused to give any receipt for this amt which is not understood . Moreover behaviour of the staff was very rude and unethical. May I request you to look into it. Thanks and regards.

        I have been writing to Airtel since 12-Dec-16 and the matter has been resolved yet. Moreover, today my outgoing calls have been restricted and Airtel Delhi Appellate Authority have been time and again asking time to resolve the issue and have promised to send the correct bill. Airtel has been continuously troubling me with all representatives wanting to understand and finally doing nothing to resolve the issue....

            I have raised service termination request on 19 Oct 2016 09:05 am Change no[protected]. (reference no[protected]

            After that there are multiple calls/SMS to convince me about the service quality and restoring the service on

            01 Nov 22:13 Change order no[protected]

            However I have stopped using the service from 19th Oct 2016 and disconnected the whole instruments from my home.

            I have paid Previous bill regularly until Month of Sept Rs 1148.86 on 11 Oct 2016
            I have paid the bill for until 19th Oct 2016 Rs 1110.00 on 9 Dec 2016

            With All these transactions from my end and closure, I am continued to be bill by Air tell and continuously followed to pay the bills beyond 20th Oct 2016 until Jan 2017.

            I am not sure how I am liable to pay these bills.
            Please help me with resolving this dispute.

                Hi All,

                I bought the airtel prepaid datacard with airtel sim No: [protected]. I used the same till Feb 2015. Meanwhile I was using other modes of
                Internet. I had not used it for over a year. And now I recharged yesterday for Rs. 265 and tried using the dongle. Internet is not connecting.
                And I inserted the sim to my mobile. It is not even detecting the airtel network. And when I called the customer care. They informed me saying that the sim is not in your name. I was using it for over 3 years and I have all the transaction ids for recharging through online and receipts.

                Please let me know how my number is given to some other person. And also why I am not able to used it now.

                  I was holding Airtel postpaid sim and I had submitted request for conversion of postpaid connection to prepaid connection. The postpaid sim is disconnected in first week of January 2017. The airtel office gave me a prepaid sim in which I am not getting network at all. I have visited the airtel office for more than 10 times and called customer care for more than 5 times. Nobody is taking the responsibility to activate the prepaid sim. I am having the prepaid sim which was given in the airtel office. If I try to call, the calls are not going and I am getting a NETWORK INVALID message. Every-time I call airtel customer care, some new person talks and I have to explain the entire issue to them. If I ask them to connect to a particular person who was handling this issue before, they tell they dont have the option to connect. Its been more than 3 people now who told they will callback me in 48 hrs and resolve the issue. Till now I have not received any call from airtel. This is the very important number which I am using for my professional as well as personal life. I am facing lot of issues since nobody is able to connect to me.
                  I dont have the particular number active from 35 days. I want the prepaid sim to be activated.

                    The 4g broadband internet from airtel has a good speed only issue is that internet should work. In starting days we used to raise 3 or 4 complains stating that there i no internet access. But in current month have already raised it 5 times. You raise the complain in the morning by evening u will get the internet working by night again no internet.
                    The complain system is so pathetic that no mail or sms is received with the complain number. If by chance you note it down and check the status of the complain it would be closed. Hence adding up to your frustation.
                    The technicain half of the time dont even inform when they fix the issue. Neither they contact so you just have to try and try to see if its working .
                    Considering the brand name the services are pathetic and not transparent at all. Its highly dis statisfying that there is high charge for 4G internet and you pay the bills even for the unused bandwidth.

                      So I gave plenty of emails to airtel wallet( or payment bank) customer service([protected]@airtelmoney.com) and they gave me a reply saying to give proof(which I did) and still nothing. Then I got a reference number from Amazon(who initiated the refund) saying the amount must be reflected on my account by now(14-feb-2017), but still nothing. So I gave the reference number to the customer care to which they said they have registered the complaint and that I will get a reply but still no reply. Please refund it ASAP.

                          Dear Airtel,
                          I am using ur AIRTEL data card
                          no ([protected]) postpaid service in last 1 year. Now I have to stopped my postpaid service because of excess billing and worst customer service. I had charged more then my use like 1000/- + bill every month with out use... I have plan of 999₹ with the discount of 250 r more for the returning my old Donegal... dongle has been suspended Bec of non paying the bill but my question is why did I got the bill for suspended month...When data got 100% usage I gets mail from your airtel and I stopped to use internet then why such excess billing. I have contact both AIRTEL customer service and AIRTEL showroom, many time tried to know the reason of billing. Still now i didn't get any proper explanation from airtel side. So pls stop or cancel the connection if the same bill is generated every month...
                          I have already done my payment I need the refund for not using... I need a complete clarification on it..

                          This is my second mail to u people regarding my over bill.. I dint get any type of clarification on the bill what it is generated every month which I am not allowed to use the service.. I am really fedup with ur service..
                          As I got call from ur service team and promise made me that 1 month rental will be free that I have not seen any wer in the bill what I have got..
                          Second thing I have a offer of discount for 9 month for the returning my old other network Donegal but I get more bill like ₹2k+ every month which I have not used it..
                          So kindly give me a clarity of my bill, I want to discontinue ur service...

                                Above mentioned message sent on my number [protected] on Saturday 11/02/17 I didn't get 3gb 3G/4g data as you promised in your message to me, when I called up your customer care center they plainly denied having any such plans.
                                my complain no. CBNRD[protected].
                                Please attend this complaint asap or I'll reach to TRAI.

                                  I have applied for new airtel broadband connection through online on[protected].Executive call within a day and Documents are send through to [protected]@gmail.com
                                  and i pay 1000Rs through online.but there is no reply.If i call the same numbers then they either don't pick-up the call.
                                  after that i call to airtel customer care number 4 r 5 times and told my complaints. they replay there is some technical problem and after 5 days again
                                  i call to airtel customer care number.they are telling service was not feasible in your area for broadband connection.
                                  i requested them to refund my amount.but still iam not received any amount.when first time Executive call to me she check and told there is no problem in your area with in 3 day they will provide broadband connection like that.
                                  Worse experience with Airtel.They are showing that company has a open network and don't hide anything from customers but reality is just opposite of it.
                                  airtel are just making customers fool and grabbing customers money. If company don't have service available in the location then why don't they
                                  inform before applying new connection.

                                    We have requested to disconnect the broad band connection as Airtel could not able to solve frequent intermittent dead problem on 21.10.2016 and retain our land line. Suddenly we have received a call in December 26th asking us to pay a huge bill which was raised even though we have not used the net. They have disconnected our land line on 26.12.16 and on checking with the customer care, they said they did it by the mistake of technical team, they will reconnect it. then they asked us to clear the bill then they will reconnect and given a discount of Rs. 3000/- and we have cleared the same.
                                    Till today nobody is taking responsibility to answer the mails. There is no courteous to inform the customer what is the status.

                                      My Complaint on Airtel is Last year probably around August I asked for deactivation of my number airtel 4G [protected]. As they didn't want to lose a customer they asked me to convert this sim to prepaid. I accepted it and for converting it to prepaid i had to visit a nearest airtel store within 15days. After two days I again got a call from airtel if i still want the number to be deactivated. As i had not yet visited the store yet i asked for the deactivation. But after a month of asking for deactivation i got a call to pay the bill for month the of September for which i have never used. I said i will only be paying for what i have used and not for what i haven't. This continued for another 3 months and they charged me for RS 1694. When i explained this issue they still asked to do the payment of pending amount. Today they have sent me legal reminder saying they will be taking actions. As i didn't have any other choice I did the payment and am deactivating all airtel services. They are cheating me by not deactivating my number when i ask for it and they asked for making payments when i am not using their services.
