I Paid Rs.600/- for airtel broadband conncetion. but your airtel technician said in your area(Villivakkam subway) conncetions are full so could not gave the conncetion sorry. After that i received a call from Main airtel office. they said sorry for the inconvenience your amt will be credited in your a/c in 15 days. but as of now i didn't receive my money. so pls do me a favor.

    I am in Bangalore, my account number is 14834656. I got a call from airtel in mid Dec 2016
    offering a free upgrade of my existing 8Mbps broadband service to 40MBps at my existing rate
    (Rs1609 net p.m.), but they would have to first upgrade my ADSL modem to a VDSL modem.
    I agreed, next day Dec 16, a service
    technician came and installed a new Huawei Home Gateway modem/router. After it was installed,
    found I was getting approximately 50MBps on speedtest.net. A couple of weeks later, I was out of
    Bangalore for 3 days, came back to find no internet service. Registered complaint, first two
    staff workers were incompetent - had no idea how to configure this modem, one was telling me
    to configure my wifi. 3rd worker called after a couple days and told me it would be fixed in
    5 minutes, as there was "a service order pending" on my account. It did come back online but
    now speed was only 10Mbps, and has stayed like that since. At same time (mid-January)outside my flat,
    I found several flyers defacing the lampposts and street signs advertising Airtel 40MBps, unlimited
    broadband with free router for Rs 999 !! While I am paying Rs1608 net p.m. for my 10Mbps line.
    Made several complaints, staff either incompetent, ignorant or this is deliberate bait and
    switch fraud. Last service call came from a technician who wanted to enter my flat to
    "install a Huawei Home Gateway modem" so i could get the higher speed ?! My written complaints
    to [protected]@airtel.com get standard response that my complaint has been referred to "concerned group".
    I have now written to [protected]@airtel.com telling them I will not be paying this months bill and
    asked them to terminate the service (as there does not seem to be any protocol for switching
    my account plan to one that benefits me) but have not received any acknowledgement.

      Payment details: cheque # 942065 dt: 18/02/2016. Syndicate bank. Document submitted on 18/02/2016. No one responds properly at the local airtel office;unprofessional. Not yet got the bb connection despite several calls. If we donot get the connection by the eod, we wish to withdraw the subscription with immediate effect.

        Got a new mobile number and SIM card from Airtel outlet, Bangalore.

        If anyone calls to my number, they see the location Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh instead of Bangalore, Karnataka.

        The samething happens, if I call any number other see my call coming from Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh.

        My location should be shown as Bangalore, Karnataka, INDIA.

        As this number will be used for business purpose, my location should be shown as Bangalore, Karnataka.

        If this issue is resolved, I need to cancel the number and Airtel should refund the money. I have wasted lot of time in calling Airtel support, either support staff don't have technical knowledge or they don't want to fix the issue.

        Reason behind this is may be the previous user of this number located at Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. Because i also faced same issue as i call to my sister who is in TN it shows Karnataka. Recently she purchased that new number from outlet.

          Hi,
          I have migrated my airtel postpaid number to prepaid two days back. Sim got activated, but am not able to check special offers or balance, and not any USSD code runs in my mobile number.
          I am not able to recharge my number online as well.
          Though i called customer care several times and also mailed them, i am not getting any proper response. How can i use it without recharging?

          Please don't waste customer's time. Resolve it soon.

              I m in a big problem as somebody misuses my number and makes me fall into troubles as well as my data and balance is misused. Several times I felt into serious quarrels as somebody sent nuisance SMS and calls to some hostel girls and I was blamed for it. Please help! But I don't know to whom the calls are subjected to and I want to find out the culprit as the person rings to his friends as well.

                Please find attached the screenshot of your Airtel app as on 23rd Feb 00.19 am.

                I took an infinity plan on 22nd Feb at 1am of 549 in which 5gb data was promised to me. But unlike the promises u gave, I was given 1.1gb first for which I made a complaint. The CC executive said it is a technical issue and will be solved by 4pm afternoon. In the morning I checked my app and it was showing 2gb data. I called again and again and there was no response. I tried again and your executive said the usual thing "Ma'am it will be resolved by 4pm". Nothing happened. I called the appellate committee at 4pm and they said that it will take 72 hours. I agreed to that also. At 4.30 pm I got a message that 50% of my data is consumed, when I did not even use it. I again called the Airtel guys and I insisted to get me connected to the floor supervisor. The floor supervisor Mr Athish promised me and wrote it in your notes as well that I would be given 5gb data for lifetime if my problem is not resolved by 12 midnight(23rd Feb started). And as expected I did not get the data. (Screenshot attached)

                I called again at 121 and I did not get my 5gb +5gb =10 gb lifetime data!

                Airtel guys atleast have some courtesy to keep your commitments!!! I have been running behind u for 24 hours for a petty issue. Made like 20 calls to u all. I have a corporate connection and I will make sure that the bank which I am associated with cancels your contract if I do not get 10gb data in my account every month as promised by you all after 20 calls!

                I hope u guys have some courtesy and customer respect to keep your promises. Also value your customer and their time!

                      Applied for the airtel broad band connection and paid an amount of 3620 inr on 6th jan, 2017 but after doing numerous followups with airtel, never get to know what went wrong with the installation and why we have not received the connection yet. Requested full refund but yet to receive that as well till date. Not sure what kind of service is being given by airtel. This incident needs to be reported as airtel is simply cheating people with their poor service. Most frustrating experience i had with airtel.
                      Looking forward to see some resolution on this issue.

                        I do not agree with your views. Issue remains unresolved since more then a 25 days
                        [1]i have made calls outgoing or received incoming calls on whats app only, then why charged
                        [2] airtel has charged on incoming calls made by airtel, received by me at usa, even mobile data is switched off
                        [3] when app facility through wi fi is free where is the question of paying charges, even mobile data is switched off
                        [4] how airtel can make unsolicited calls that too at midnight, harness consumer /customer
                        [5] what about handset which fell down from my hand while receiving one of the call from airtel at midnight.
                        [6] how airtel can activate international roaming facility on pre paid facility., without consumer/ customer consent
                        [7] my mobile number was /is not [protected] as stated by you, please do not fool customer /consumer

                        Furthermore, please be assured that our system is flawless and there is no manual intervention. The software captures the details of the call that you make from or receive on your mobile or the data that you use and generates the charges accordingly.
                        Moreover, we would like to inform you that international roaming service is default service activation on all airtel prepaid numbers. Monthly rental of rs.99 would be deducted from your main account balance once you latch on to the roaming network.

                        Airtel fools consumer by informing that they tried to contact but it is merely misguiding fooling .Complaint is pending since more then 25 days

                        I am representing this issue since last 25 days before Telecom Ministry & TRAI
                        however not getting satisfactory response.

                        I am legal immigrant o[censored]S, has left India on January 18, 2017.Immediately after
                        reaching at US, I started receiving messages from Airtel that i must refill, recharge
                        otherwise services shall be discontinued.After that I started receiving calls on mobile
                        all at midnight, threatening me on same issue. Once while i was fast a sleep, I received a call from Airtel, handset fell down from my hand, front cover got damaged, display went off. I have demanded new handset, no money

                        What is my appeal [1] How Airtel can activate international roaming facility on pre paid
                        facility without consumer consent, that too when consumer enters Indian Int Airport, has not left India [2] Whats App facility through wi fi is free, then too how Airtel can charge for incoming /outgoing calls[3] Such charges are levied even when mobile data is switched off. This is open exploitation, duping Consumers.Many Indian who have visited other countries on visitor visa have similar complaints, no response.

                        Further to my complaints, I continuously receiving calls from Airtel, at day time, late night or early Morning hours.I am receiving call from mobile numbers -[protected] & [protected].I shall have to
                        bear charges for Incoming calls

                        Howlong such loot shall be allowed, how long consumers shall be exploited. Why
                        Ministry & Trai do not take appropriate action without undue delay?

                        Above referred mail exposes Airtel 's corporate governance, standard of Business ethics, Customer relation.

                        I repeat, Airtel can not activate by default international roaming on pre paid facility, how International roaming starts charging consumer when consumer is still within the Mumbai Int Airport.When mobile data is switched off.

                        What right Airtel has to disturb consumer at late night hours, Airtel is bound to compensate for my handset
                        Many Indian visitor have similar complaints, but since Airtel has no business ethics, ignores such genuine complaints

                        I am informed by Airtel that Airtel shall not compensate for mobile which got damaged while picking up handset when receiving call at midnight. I am informed by other 4 persons who are frequent fliers that Airtel activate international Roaming, start charging even though consumer is still within the Indian International Airport, so when consumer lands in India, for few hours, international roaming remains activated. why International roaming gets activated without consent of consumer, that too only for pre paid facility. When i was using what app through wi fi, where is the question of charging me ? then why i was charged, wh i was disturbed number of times even a midnight ? even mobile data was switched off, Airtel be instructed to adhere to Business ethics, customer service

                          I have been using Airtel postpaid SIM for the past few years. Since I came to know about Airtel Broadband connection being somewhat stable and trustworthy, I opted for an Airtel Broadband connection for my residential area at Chennai by registering in their website. My friend (who stay with me) also did raise the same request on the same day unknowingly. After a few days, since no-one called back, I raised one more request via the costumer care.
                          Now this is the starting point of the story, this request was raised some 6 months back and ever since I am getting calls from Airtel once in EVERY two days regularly (almost 100-120 calls received till date including the count of calls received for my friend) . Interesting thing is that every time a different person call (from a different number) and speaks about the various plans available from the beginning, confirms the broadband feasibility in my area through some online mechanisms and fixes an appointment with the field Engineer within 48 hours. This happens as a routine and today also (yesterday as well) I received the routine call and the funny part is that nobody from Airtel did visited my residential area till now for proceeding with the proposed boradband installation.
                          At last, I deiced to escalate this since I felt this a nuisance, by simply calling me regularly and giving me false commitments and wasting my time. Following this I escalated this to appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com two weeks back. Following this, some manager level person called me and assured me that the broadband connection shall be availed to me at the earliest. And as the story goes, I got same routine calls after his assurance also with the same hollow commitments.

                            I had raised the issue dotel/e/2017/03022 also i had provided cancel cheque and passbook scan copy to them as they had mentioned and they committed me that within 3 days you will get account with main balance amount and last 6 months of data recharge because not able to use those data.

                            I had talked with "seep dutt" and same day that person followup with me 3-4 times for same.

                            After that 4-5 times i had sent followup email but they are not replying me. So, i had include the net (National escalation team) and appeallate and got call that we did not give commitment and you will not get.

                            As a proof please find the attached mail screenshot and call record.

                            So, its shows that airtel india gave committments here on my all past 3-4 complains are false.

                            How can we now believe on govt. Now.

                            I hope govt. Will take strict actions on same. If govt. Want i will provide all complain numbers in which they agreed the network issue and committed to provide refund in my bank account so prove how airtel india is cheating people of india.

                            Now.in very high priory if i will not get justice then as a last option i need to put all complain numbers, call records and mail conversation in public domain to show people of india that how govt. Is doing false marketing of govt. Of common man but in reality they are govt. Of corporate companies.

                            I am not able to upload call records with airtel net executive which i got call on 22nd feb 2017 from number +91 [protected]

                            Hope i will get justice.

                              I am outside the country right now and i did not recharge for an international roaming offer. Today i attended a call and got 30 rupees cut from my main balance and that is a general problem. But i got charged again 50 rupees for an international roaming service for which i did not request for. Please be kind to send me back my money which u cut for an unwanted reason

                                I've been using my prepaid sim for 1 yr now..past 1 month I'm staying out of india...I'm able to receive msgs from advertisers...but unable to receive or make call from my Indian sim

                                Pls let me know the procedure to activate it.
                                Otherwise I fear my sim gets deactivated due to no usage
