Airtel should not compulsorily save Card details of customers and then put the onus on customers to go thru their site and delete the same. The Airtel website under payments is, to put it mildly, very "wobbly"" and one cant have confidence it that. Even after a payment is made, recpt generated, one gets a message "'OOPS.. your tx could not be done etc etc"" Some joke?? And these people with such an unreliable system want to save Credit card details?? One wonders if this is within the law or is Airtel just shoving their way thru?? If its for "'convenience"" then the customer should have the choice to allow Airtel to save the Card details or not. Something is not right here.

      This is with reference for the new airtel broadband connection and a request number "74577976".

      I submitted my documents on 20/10/2016 to a person having contact number as [protected], after collecting my documents he told me that he will provide me connection on 22/10 and also gave assurance about the feasibility in my area.

      He asked me to pay the activation fee and give him the transaction id, once i gave him my transaction id he did not pick up my call and asked me to contact [protected].

      That number said he will look into this issue but later he didnt respond neither picked my call.

      I contacted customer care and they gave me a reference number and told me technician will come and install everything today, 23/10. I didnt receive any communication and before I paid activation fee i was flooded with Airtel customer care, sales team call and once I paid them 1000/-, all the numbers are switched off and nobody is contacting.

      Now again when I am contacting customer care all of them are telling different story.

      I am using their postpid number from past 8 years and now I am planning to stop using all of the airtel things together.

      The customer care were so rude and kept me on hold for 18 minutes.

        I have an railway cug post paid plan of railway as per my plan in my plan company offers 2 g data unlimited plan. And upto 10 gb with higher browsing speed after 10 gb with lower browsing speed. But with starting of the month its shows 100 % data consumed. No executive of airtel is registering the complaint. They are fooling and disconnect the call before the complaint is registered. I have call several time they say that sir this is prepaid service centre and your complaint will be registered by postpaid department. But the contact number they give are completely wrong. And invalid.

          I have upgraded to Airtel DTH HD connection in the month of jan 2016, but in the month of june 2016 the HDMI port of the my set top box was non functional for which i have raised several complaints but till date it has not been resolved and every time the complaint is closed mentioning my area is in cable operator zone and service engineer cannot visit due to risk of life..
          i even mentioned to the customer care that i am ready to come extra mile to the area where the engineer feels safe so that i can change my set top box .. but the same has also not been done ..
          i was even ready to visit the nearest airtel dth gallery.
          i have already taken HD annual channels pack but i am unable to view the same since the HDMI port is non functional..

          hence i want
          1) the set top box to be replaced on top priority
          2) refund for the last 4 months for which i was unable to use the airtel service due to the fault in set top box which was not resolved by the airtel engineers.

              Hi, i want to port my number from vodafone to airtel.
              I had given my porting request at airtel cp store last month. For my 2 vodafone numbers
              [protected] & [protected]. Only one number got ported which is [protected]. Other number address verification was pending.
              I dont know why. And request cancelled.
              Then i requested 2nd time same problem. Then i got call from some dsa they requested me that they will port my number. One guy visited my office (Rehan khan) and he collected my documents for porting on 16th oct 2016. Day before i checked my status, it says address verification pending. Then i visited your connaght place store. I requested them to please send some one to place for address verification. They assured me that someone would call you before comming. I was told that some one will visit at my place on saturday. I took one day leave from my office. But no one call me neither any visit.
              I am very irated now. After this mail. If you cant give me proper solution i will definetly write to trai.

                I have recently switch from idea to airtel. I was informed by the airtel customer sales person about the plan and now when the service is activated there is nothing about that.

                They have cheated to bring the customer from other operator.

                I have the call records of the airtel guy. He is clearing mentioning that and now when i am calling him he is not replying to my question.

                Why I have received 3G service instead of 4G service?

                I was informed by the telecaller that will get a 4G service??

                    With Airtel for 10 years and regretting now.

                    I have already escalated to all possible people including appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com and nodal teams.
                    All Airtel escalation teams are completely useless. Nobody takes ownership and you get a different person asking for 48 hours everyday!
                    I have been asking for a better escalation number/contact of higher authority to have my issues fixed and inform them about their failure of customer support teams but nobody in Airtel seems to know and nobody seems to bother.

                    - First IPTV
                    My IPTV was suspended by Airtel on 14 October 2016 without installing DTH services which I had opted for on 20 August 2016.
                    I have been asking them to provide DTH since 14th October. It is 22 October now and I don't have either.
                    Every time I call and email I am informed with excuses and a time frame of 48 hours.
                    I was informed on 21 October finally I will have DTH in 24 hours.
                    When I call in on 22 October I am told the IPTV withdrawl request was submitted today! And DTH will take 48 hours!
                    Why was IPTV cut on 14 October if you say request was submitted on 22 October?
                    How long does it take for a company like Airtel to install DTH?

                    - Broadband
                    I am paying 1349 for a 4mbps plan but Airtel has a 16 mbps plan for same rental. I have requested for an update to 16 mbps.
                    Surprisingly Airtel does not have that infrastructure to provide 16 mbps in the heart of Bangalore city!
                    I was informed on 21 October after a week long complaint that my rental will be cut by 50% for 6 months as they currently cannot provide 16 mbps connection. Within next 3 months they will ensure 16 mbps or higher.
                    When I call in today to check status of DTH and Internet I was informed there is no mention of reducing my tarriff to 50%.
                    Why should I pay 1349 for 4 mbps when Airtel has a plan for 16 mbps with same cost in Airtel website? If Airtel cannot upgrade infrastructure when reduce my tarriff to 1/4!

                    I have emails to provide how different teams within Airtel fail to communicate with each other and leave customers stranded. And nobody bothers to take ownership to have the issue resolved!
                    I am looking for different vendors now as I am fed up with incompetent Airtel teams and their utter failure to have issue resolved as they work as separate teams within 1 organization. Escalation teams are utter useless.

This is how you traine your people. I am using airtel from last 4years and i have not received such a poor service before ever.                         I have been using air tel 4 g wifi for the last one year. For the last two months i ma not paying the bill as i have been requesting air tel call centre to disconnect. My connection has not been disconnected, instead my bill is getting mounted and now it is rs.3478/-. Also, i am getting repeatedly calls from call centre which threatens me and they use some time unparliamentary language which is unethical too.in fact one of the call centre called me "fraud" which is not at all acceptable.

                        Kindly help me in resolving the issues. I have no problem if any executive call me for final settlement and issues me a no claim certificate as i am worried that even after i make the payment it would not be deactivated.

                              [protected] 4g lte datacard. all incidents are reported to airtel and you must have all the records.

                              Oct 2015 - network problem reported t airtel. airtel network team checked and informed the signal issues
                              Confirmed there was no issues with laptop/dongle in other location.
                              New tower was scheduled by 3 months. weaved 20% in bills till aug 2016.
                              Jan 2016 - airtel continued to say 3 more months
                              Apr 2016 - promise remained same for next 3 months
                              Requested multiple times that bill weaver is not a fix, no response on that
                              Sept2016 - banalore band, non-working internet. 9 sept to 12th sept.
                              Lost working hours. lost work and missed scheduled calls
                              Sent multiple emails to airtel. emails were sent continously since 12 sept
                              Harini from appellate listen to issue and scheduled a call from net.
                              Net team informed signal improved. signal strenght was not really an issue,
                              When informed about tower installation last year.net was clueless about that information
                              Nobody read emails and called me. had to explain the story everytime i get a call
                              Had to shout at them and ended up disconnect the connection on 22 sept
                              Even after escalating it sunil bharti mittal, no response
                              Paid the due amount to finish this all. airtel still sent the next bill after a lot of sarcastic emails
                              Had to call back 121 and literally abused them as they did not understand what i went through
                              When no response on emails and no help from 121, called the appellate team
                              Sindhu from appellate helped to escalate it again to net.net later weaved off the last bill.

                              Paid 12k + amount since last year, no late payments, no escalations.
                              Airtel puts panelity when bill not paid in time, but there is nothing for customer if the service does not happen on time.
                              As customer, one must be eligible for basic services, if vendor fails to provide the service, the vendor should be penalized.
                              However, airtel has not answered my concern so far.

                                  I have been a user of Airtel dongle with number [protected] for more a year ... 6 months back I had opted for cancellation of the service following which I was offered of discounted price ... after 3 months without prior intimation to the customer they have been charging double the amount... I've stopped using the dongle long back ... still sending me bill every month ... Airtel network sucks in Bangalore !!! stop ur post paid billing fraud !!!

                                    Recently I had complaint about Airtel dth set top box which was not working properly one of airtel executive visited my house switced off set top box and restarted it and asked for Rs. 150 as charges as he said dth box is ok we paid him. But it worked for 4 days and after that same problem it gets hanged why if they cannot repair there equipments why do they ask for money and customer continues to suffer. This airtel guy had not done anything to dth box just restarted with his magical hands which we too could have done but airtel had to cheat customers. This dth box deletes data recorded by itself and hangs but it is impossible for us to hang it on purpose and delete data in front of executive who have experience and know that dth there dth boxes are faulty but would not accept otherwise they would have to repair it which don't want to do. So solution is take Rs 150 and say dth box is working or otherwise hang dth box on purpose.

                                    I suggest potential customers to stay away from airtel dth.

                                      Airtel — Save card feature should not be mandatory
                                      I went to pay my bill in Airtel site on 21st OCT 2016. When I was about to do my payment using my Credit Card, it was mentioned that my card details will be saved by default. This is WRONG. Why should my card details be saved without my permission? It means that I can only pay using my Card only if I allow Airtel to save my Card details. This is ridiculous. Earlier, there used to be an option asking whether I want to save my card details. It has been removed and card information is being saved as default. It says it does have a feature to delete the saved card information, but my complaint is that the card information itself should not be saved by default. One could never know for sure if there is any backup or archive table in your database that still stores my information, even after I delete the card data. Mandatory saving of card data should be removed immediately. Airtel should make this change, and remove the default card saving feature immediately.

                                        I m using Airtel corporate plan as I m a TCS employee but problem which I m facing is network issue and I m using Vodafone as my alternate number and Vodafone network is superb and Airtel always call drops. Now I m porting my number to Vodafone they giving me the plan of 599 which I m using for Airtel.
                                        Vodafone is giving me plan of 2000 local mins 4gb of 4g data and local 100 sms.
                                        Today I received a call from airtel they told me we will also offer u the same plan but only they activated extra 2gb of internet data only for six months but no extra 500 mins so I m porting my number to Vodafone its a redecullous service of airtel
