I had purchased a postpaid connection online on your portal by choosing a airtel number from the displayed list after uploading all the required documents on the portal. I have also paid inr 300 by my card ending 7238. The order details are attached. I received a call from your back-end team on 8th october and they told due to holidays they cannot confirm on the availability of the number which i have selected. So, they told that they will call again on wednesday, 12th oct to confirm the number and then send the sim.

However, they never called. When i called them (Number - [protected]), they told that the number is available and they have blocked it also. I received the sim at my home address the same day evening.

Till today the number has not been activated. When i called the same people (Number - [protected]) to check for the activation they are telling me today that the number which i chose is not available for postpaid and can be given only for prepaid.

Now the question is -

-what was that online process for? Online process are supposed to simplify things and not other otherwise.

-why did your portal show that number when it cannot be given to postpaid customers.

-why did you allowed me to pay inr 300 online by credit card.

-why did not your back-end team confirm the availability of the number before sending the sim.

-is it customer's responsibility to run behind you guys for a week to get a sim activated.

    Signals are not coming for 4g & 3g.in my home there are 3-4 users of airtel services but we all are facing network issues with 4g/3g. i recently ported ([protected]) to airtel delhi ncr but if this problem of 4g/3g network persists then i have to again port to some other provider.

    Even my postpaid airtel 4g dongle is not receiving 4g/3g signals.

    I can provide you other numbers as well so that they can also receive good 4g signals.

    Home address: house no 891 sector 7c faridabad opposite to kl mehta school.

    Hope to see early resolution of my concerns.

        I have ONE airtel gsm commection numbered [protected]. From the 5MONTHS the condition of the INTRNET service is very very poor. Most of the time there is no network. Why should we be paying for this kind of service. The provider should be made to provide rebate and penalty for this poor service of the company.           Dear airtel, i activated night pack of 49 for 1gb 3g data at 12:31 on 20 oct 2016, after activation i used my net pack about 600mb but it reduced from my main data balance, i contacted customer service, but they told me i didn't use net after activation. I don't know how funny it was. After that i asked then told me how my 600 mb had gone, they told that they don't know... It was really funny. Plz return my net balance, you can cut it from night pack.. I am going left it about 600mb from night pack. If you will not return my balance then you will near about to miss your full family old customers... Thank you

            I had made the payment after my mobile services got barred due to non-payment but after that also Airtel didn't resumed the services complete day and their customer care number 121 was kept continuously busy throughout the day. Next day, I emailed them to resume the services, the reply was quite surprising as they were trying to contact me and wrote "unforunately, you didn't respond to us and couldn't connect you" Such foolish people, without checking they made a call to temporary suspended number. It took almost half day to struggle with such people via email as my number was off due to no network. Then i made a call to 121 through other Airtel number, where I've been told initially that services are barred sue to non-payment whereas on the other hand, I had already received an email confirmation about my bill payment being credited. Then it took several minutes to respond to me as the call was on hold, they told me to switch off/on mobile to get the network which didn't work out that time. My grievance is about their pathetic services and poor signals to which they keep on making fool of people.

              I was send a new 4g sim by airtel, after activating the new sim, i lost 4g connectivity. I recharged with $1500 for 4g to run my business from india. I already have reliance jio 4g sim but was not happy with reception. Calling you guys from last week but its still resolved. Shame on you airtel, poor service, you guys are ripping off innocent people who have no knowledge about internet. I use around 2 gb for my emails per month but with airtel 1gb in couple of hours. No consistent service, every time it disconnects, you guys charge couple of mb. Not happy at all.

                I had for applied for airtel broadband in september 2016 after confirming with executive about the feasibility in my location. Later i got a call from airtel around 3rd or 4th of oct-2016 that they do not have the feasibility and they are closing/cancelling my application. But on 18th oct 2016 rs. 1000 has been debited from my account through the cheque i had given. I called airtel so many times asking why they presented the cheque when they had closed the application due to unavailability of service on 4th oct 2016, they are not addressing my issue and disconnect calls. The local executive santosh ([protected]) and area co-ordinator anand ([protected]) are responsible for this cheating/scam and they have done this to so many people in my area. This looks like a planned scam as the amount will be taken from customers and they will take a long time and multiple irritating followups to refund the amount. I really want to take this matter legally with proper channels. Please guide me.

                Now after all this i am getting call from airtel that an engineer will be coming to my home for activation, what the hell is going on? there is no coordination between the airtel executives over an issue with customer is it? this is very unprofessional and unethical business from Airtel..

                  Regarding mobile number [protected]:

                  1. Mobile number [protected] is converted to prepaid card after clearing due amount 633 rs on 6/10/2016

                  2. Bill generated for period 8/9/2016 to7/10/2016 charges applied to number [protected] are wrong as no internet usage pack activated neither roaming activated or used.. U can chek the usage area in last month

                  3. Usage charges applied are already been paid while clearing the dues during converting the postpaid number to prepaid number, that u cna chek on your records.

                  So total charges of ruppees 869 rupees shuld be waived from the same number bill

                  Regarding mobile number [protected]:

                  1. Internet pack using before upgrading to 2gb plan recently was:
                  1gb 3g free (Post 1gb data stops) @ 300 rs
                  Written as per bill receord

                  Instead of the above mention data pack used for last whole month internet charges 500 rs flat was mention in the bill dated above, so i need these charges of extra data to be waived with immediate effect as it was against my data plan

                  I have already talked to yourm customer care executive twice for the same in last one week
                  First on 13/10/2016 and again today on 19/10/2016

                  They said my issues will be solved in 3 to 4 days but it remain unsolved since my last call for the same on 13/10/2016

                  Thats why i need to call 121 today regarding the same and they say the same answeer that my issue will be respolved in 3-4 days

                  I am now fade up with talking to your customer care service and personally also visited at airtel store but they also were unable to solve this issue

                  My last day of bill payment is 28/10/2016

                  If my above mentioned wueries are not solved in this time duration i will be unable to pay the bill,. And hence if any extra charges or service related issues are oicuring due to non payment of the bill then i will be not responsible for the same and will ask for legar consumer forum help if required

                  Hope u understand the issue and will solve the same with top most priorities,
                  I also might opt out of the airtel family with whom i am attached with last 15 year or so

                    My postpaid mobile no.[protected] porting request done under upc no. ar768294.
                    Earlier was with airtel rajasthan state.
                    Present requirement with airtel andhra pradesh.
                    Address and other verification completed. all old payments cleared.
                    Received sms on 17/10/2016 for porting to be done on 18/10/2016 at 23:09:00.024 hrs.

                    Present status: not done on 18/10/2016 as promised through sms.
                    Since 10:00 hrs today (19/10/2016) phone neither working with earlier sim not with new sim.
                    New sim already kept in the instrument. not able to call 59059, it is showing as “not registered in
                    Network”. even in add on numbers (2 nos.) mobile data is not working.

                    Help required: immediately rectify the issue and confirm me in my new sim which is already kept in the instrument. please do not try to harass people.

                    Huge payment is made by me on monthly basis.

                    It is very urgent as i am working in an emergency services.

                    My postpaid mobile no.[protected] porting request done under UPC no.AR769886 and mobile no.[protected] porting request done under UPC no.AR769933 on 08/10/2016. These mobile nos. are child no. of the parent no.[protected].
                    Parent no. portability is already done.
                    Earlier was with Airtel Rajasthan state.
                    Present requirement with Airtel Andhra Pradesh.
                    Address and other verification completed. All old payments cleared.
                    Handling person at Airtel Visakhapatnam office is Mr Ramesh, not guiding properly for porting of the child nos. under Andhra Pradesh state. Even his supervisor promised me on 21/10/2016 for resolving the issue within the cutoff date i.e. on 23/10/2016.

                    I have received new SIMs for both the child nos.

                    Help required: Immediately porting for the child nos. under Airtel, Andhra Pradesh.

                    New UPC code AR539429 for add on mobile no.[protected] and AR539528 for add on mobile no.[protected]. These UPC nos. created on 24/10/2016 as earlier UPC have been expired on 23/10/2016. In spite of several reminder to local Airtel, no action have been taken by them.

Sir i have given request to change my plan speed to 40mbps speed on 28th sept 2016 but till today they have to installed and everyday they ask time for 48 hours. Airtel is worst service provider now. They say me that they will provide in 48hours but my order is still pending and dint get any response from airtel. I have given complaint on your site and i got call from airtel and they are like they wil resolve but till now they dint resolve nor called back. No satisfaction and no response to customer service.                         Hi airtel,
                        Airtel boasts of giving excellent customer service. The sales person gave us 5 mobile postpaid connections. Hen we complained about call drops he said he will install signal boosters in our premises. After giving connections he is not even lifting his mobile. We complained to airtel about it. They have sent executives and said they will arrange and install the signal boosters but till now nothing has happened even after 2 months. We have been complaining about this issue to airtel and no one is bothered about the complaint. When we asked for porting to other network they say that atleast we need to complete 3 months.

                        If this is the service i hope airtel o start loosing much business

                        Hello, I Abhishek Thakur intend to convert two airtel prepaid connections having number [protected] & [protected] into postpaid connection also fulfill all the paper formalities and local number tele verification done on 13 oct 2016 but sim card is not activated . please help to activate the sim card.
                        I am unable to use Internet as all the time shows no Internet connection.
                        Also I have been interacted thrice to the representative regarding the same but no resolution yet.
                        Please resolve.
                        I don't know what this is and I received a text message saying it was installed on my phone and Rs. 75 was deducted from my balance.
                        I need my money back and whatever this service is removed from my phone.

                            I have applied for broad band on sep 4th 2016. I asked the executive about feasibility and connection availability in my location. He said i have the same for my location. Later on they have allotted fixed land number. After that no body came for installation and no update on the same, till now i have not received the refund. It's very irritating me. Whenever i am calling to the executive or franchisee they are so arrogant and not giving the proper response. This is the third time with airtel. Please resolve at the earliest. I suggest the others who wants to go for airtel broad band please take a written confirmation from them that connection and feasibility is there.

                                I had applied for a airtel broadband connection and had paid rs 1000 advance as installation charges, but due to technical issues the airtel team could not install the connection. Later i received an email from airtel, in which they had provided a link in which i was asked to upload my bank account details along with a cancelled check, so that the amount can be credited to my account directly.

                                I have provided all the details on the link but i am still to receive the refund. Its been more than 3 months now

                                  I have raised this issue multiple times and follow up with airtel guys everyday, but still the issue is not getting resolved. Airtel DTH guys are playing ball game and blaming different different team. I installed airtel 5 months back and within these 5 months I raised around 10 complaints with airtel. They resolve the issue and it again comes up. I am fade up with all these things and finally decided to lodge a complain. I wasted all my money in calling these people and also mentally get disturb with these airtel guys. Please consider this case and do the required action. Thanks

                                    I regret to write mail that inspite of calling customer care I am fed up of the Pathetic response from the customer Care and end up with no solution. I had wastage of time again and again and I am sorry to say that every time I am getting a different solution of the same query again and again.

                                    Facts of the Query:
                                    I had made a call on 24 Sept 2016 regarding the offers and accordingly As per the discussion with customer care I had changed my Plan from 899 rental to 499 rental  and along with the activation of 4GB internet service by charging additional Rs 100/ in addition to rental which I agree accordingly the activation is done. The service request no. for the above is 33692330 for your records.

                                    Then on 7 October 2016 I had called the customer care addressing inspite of the 4GB internet free data is allotted it is not showing in my airtel APPlication. They have told me there we are unable to provide the internet usage they had communicated to me that can offer me 1 GB free internet usage in 499 rental which is included in the plan. In addition I had to pay additional Rs 100 for which they can offer me 2.5 GB internet other than that.

                                    As per recent customer care communication dated 18.10.2016 around 13.45 to 14.12 p.m. I have told them about the issue that I am getting data usage Alert every time I m using the internet from Airtel. Also in Airtel App there is no track of data available and data consumed due to this issue I have not used the internet and as of Now only 102 MB data I have consumed but the limit allotted is 4 GB. The response of the customer care is that you have been allotted unlimited free internet usage and please ignore the message that you have received about the usage of internet.

                                    Analysis of the Solution given by  Customer Care of the Same query:

                                    Please confirm what the internet plan is activated as per the 3 to 4 commitment of the same Query given by the customer care

                                    1. 4GÂ 4GB Data with additional charges of Rs 100 in additional to 499 plan dated 24.09.2016 having service no. 33692330
                                    2. 1 GB Data free 4G internet included in my 4990plan and additional 2.5 GB will be allotted if I pay additional Rs 100/- dated 07.10.2016
                                    3. Unlimited Free internet 4G is activated in the plan with 0 rental which in line with Reliance JIO and will not be charged any rupee.

                                    In the end I am unable to find the solution since the commitment you had given is again and again differ due to this I am unable to use the internet and is very scared since you might charge unnecessary charges to me hence I request you to give in writing the details of the plan and commitment from your side of the query.

                                    Please provide me the suitable solution else I have no option other than to switch to other network with a better plan and good customer service. My portable no. for the above is AM498831. Please let me know accordingly I will take future action on the above.
