Airtel mobile network operator company cheating the customers with fake 4g network signal. I've tested it by selecting 3g only(Wcdma only). It should detect 3g signal only but its showing 4g signal instead of 3g/h. I'm not the only one who is facing this issue. Almost each and every airtel users facing it.     I've received messages that Video Club is activated at my mobile[protected]. haven't subscribed and I will never subscribe such kind of service.

      Couple of days back received a call from airtel office saying new 4g simply will be delivered and I will be eligible for 1gb data to be used for a month. Received the sim yday. Got it activated. But within an hour of activation received an alert saying 100% of data is used and hence forth usage will be charged at...
      I have never asked airtel to provide me free data. Why taking customers for a ride.. hats off to airtel great minds

        I'm using Airtel network for more than 5 years and I was a prepaid user. I activated hello tune service for 3 months and after 10 days I converted my number to postpaid one.

        While transforming I got a info like my balance and value added services like hello tunes that will be carry forwarded. After activating my number in postpaid, I didn't see my hello tune service in active mode. So I called customer care service for more than 4 times and all the time they updated like it will be activated within 4 hours.

        Finally today morning it got activated and I heard the same song what I chosen and I left as it is. After 2 hours I got a message stating that my hello tune service is discarded.

        I called customer service again and that time the update is hello tune service wont be carry forwarded. And if I ask about the money what I have paid for this service, their simple answer was we can't do anything.

        Very depressed with the answers and they are ready to let go the customers. I sincerely wish to take some actions on this kind of network providers who are grabbing customers money in all possible ways.

            My contact no. is [protected] i have changed my circle from maharastra to mumbai. i have recharged of 100 rupees talktime on 02/04/2015 and 3g data pack of 197 rupees. on 3rd april my no. has been changed in mumbai circle. now my all valance of data and call has been cut from your side. i talk to your customer care on 198. they didnot resolve my problem and cut my phone . nobody tell me about that if you changed circle your all valance and data will get cut from your accunt.


            NOW i want my all valance and data back in my account.

              Airtel frequently updates their broadband tariff plans but does not auto update customers data plan. For example I was paying 999 for 40 GB data at 8 MBPS. And when airtel updated plans, there was 60 gb /8 MBPS available for Rs. 615 and at Rs. 999 it was supposed to be 125 Gb at 40 mbps. But they not inform me and I was paying 999 for much lesser data and speed.

                I had received a Sms from Airtel asking to reply "11" for auto renewal of my 2G internet pack of Rupees 98, I did not reply or opt for auto renewal but still amount of 98 Rupees is deducted from my account.when I called 198 for raising a complaint against the same and refund my amount airtel executive rejected to do both.please help me refunding my amount .I have the call conversation recorded .

                  I naga ramesh thirlaka have been using airtel number[protected] from 2006 onward and i got to know that my sim card has been disconnected on 19th march 2016 due to "non usage" and the number has been recycled.I have life time validity on the prepaid sim card and even if the connection was being disconnected i think the customer should have been intimated at least in the first place rather than doing it without even letting him know.Moreover now coming to the usage part.I agree that there has not been much outgoing from my mobile phone however if i'm right and this does exist in your records there has been incoming usage on the telephone till 19th of march 2016. I used to get my messages from banks, and other organizations where ever i have given this number. So i really have no idea from where the 120 days of non usage thing came into.I tried contacting your customer care but as i am in my business trip i could not get the call connected. However i have raised a complaint to airtel 121 but i didn't get any proper response for getting back the number. Even i reached out to the airtel office in india but i didn't get any positive response as they are telling this number got deactivated and allocated to some one else. But when i try to call that number its not getting connected..I mean how can you go ahead and do that with out even informing the customer ahead.I hope you do look into my case and help me out with what has to be done rather than once again give the same reply that the number has been recycled due to non usage.

                  Hello Akanksha,
                  I have already sent a mail to airtel.presense as well as airtel 121 too. I didn't get any satisfactory answer. Today i got a mail like the number and sim got deactivated. I am asking how to reactivate and get the same number as it is tagged to multiple purposes and i am using this number from 2006 onwards.

                  Don't know whether the my request is understood or not. I am only asking how to get the same number. Airtel people are not telling the process to get the same number instead they are sending the same copy and paste response like your sim got deactivated and you havn't used from past 90 days. Past is the past. I am expecting atleast right response and solution to get my number.

                    I had recharged 3G internet for Rs. 153 for 1GB of 3G Data in the morning of 31st May. I had checked my data and had used it briefly for about an hour on that evening. Then it stopped working. Today (3rd April 2016) I called up 198 and enquired about the issue. The Customer Care agent told me that I had used up about 800+ MB of my data on 'Hotstar' on . I DO NOT HAVE THE HOTSTAR APP ON MY PHONE AND NEVER DID. How can Hotstar magically eat up my data when I did not access it from any browser or application? Doesn't make any sense. Are Airtel on a downward slide? Do they want to harrass their long time customers because of their greed? Can I ask them for evidence of my using the so-called Hotstar app? I feel cheated and deceived. How stupid do they think people are?

                        On 31-03-16 i have received a call from airtel executive (M- [protected]) on my mobile and offered me a plan at lower cost than vodafone (My present telephone operator). I agreed, the very next day she send one (M-[protected]) to collect documents. I handed over. Same day evening, vodafone offered me much best plan in lower price. Airtel offered me a plan at lower price than vodafone and vodafone also offered me better than airtel, so as normal i decided not to port in airtel. So i have informed airtel executive on her mobile ([protected]) for not to port my number. Surprisingly she started to talk unprofessionally. Any how i told her for not to port.
                        On 02-01-16 i have received a sms from airtel that my no is processed for port !!! And this is without my permission.

                          I am from chhattisgarh and recently came to delhi so i ported my sim([protected])
                          On july 2015 i had done portability my sim(Mob. No.-[protected]) from idea to airtel, since then i'm facing message sending problem. Then i talked to airtel customer care, they told me 5 to 6 times that the problem will be solved within 48-72 hrs and i received a message that my problem has been solved and just restart your phone. But that doesn't help me out. Then they requested to me go to service centre and after going there 7-8 times they said to talk to nodal office. Nodal officer gave the advise of changing the sim and then too problem wasn't resolved. They now told me that they cannot solve this problem. Now i finally go to the appellate authority of airtel and talked to them about my problem but they haven't solve the problem.
                          Solution: i am returning to chhatisgarh so i want to port my no. But for porting message should be sent now please help me.

                            I have recharge with Rs 265 where I suppose to 1GB 3G data plus 1GB 4G data, after recharging I was getting 4g and 3g data balance but after consumption of 3G data I am not able to use my 4G data

                                  I took a new connection from airtel 10 days ago. Still the number is not been activated . I have submitted all my documents to the airtel store and I have visited the airtel store regarding this twice.I have made around 10 to 15 calls to the customer care still it is not getting activated. Today they told me that again I have to visit airtel store and give the documents again. When I asked for the reason why it is getting rejected they bluntly reply me that they don't no.

                                    I have a Airtel 4G Dongle postpaid connection (using it from more than one year), with number [protected]. From last 5 months i am not getting good signal, so the quality of speed is derated. It not even giving 2G speed. I have complained it to the customer care 4 months back, they told to bear with them for 3 months and they will install new tower. After waiting for 3 months (paying full amount of money) still i see the internet speed in the same conditon. I have called customer care again and complained about the situation, but they are simply telling that their representative will come and check, but till now no one came. They are simply charging me with bill but not responding. Customer care people gave me the following reference numbers, from the month of November 2015 to March 2016 (Reference numbers: 66292315, 68402434,[protected]. with using the full speeds i am paying them money from the month of November 2015.
                                    even i told them, if they cannot provide good internet speed, please remove the connection, but no response.

                                        Ownership transfer of my postpaid connection from my name to my company's name is initiated.
                                        I am told by my company that there will be a downtime the same night.

                                        07:30am - 02-apr-2016 (I call 121. Call duration: 1+ hour)
                                        Of course, as predicted, no signal in the new sim. My salary is supposed to be credited in few hours and i have numerous bank transactions to be done for which i heavily depend upon otp - sms.

                                        I call 121 from wife's phone and speak with ms. Tabassam. She creates ticket and tells me the sla for ownership transfer is 30 hours from 12.30 pm - 01-apr-2016 (Which is 06:30 pm - 02-apr-2016).

                                        I am disappointed and explain my woes to her related to the banking work i have planned. She is unable to help me, so i ask her to put her manager (Prashant #1) on phone. He keeps repeating template phrases to console me. I'm too tired to type how silly his promises were. Much to my dissatisfaction, i ask him to put floor manager (Prashant #2) on phone.

                                        Prashant #2 seemed to be a nice guy. He understood and promised me to keep me posted and escalate this. He called me in few minutes (From[protected] and said the issue will be resolved by 02:00 pm - 02-apr-2016. I thank him and hang up.

                                        04:30pm - 02-apr-2016
                                        I receive a call from airtel's escalation manager (Suguna) telling me it'll be resolved by monday (04-apr-2016)!!! Can you believe it?!?! I was actually unhappy with the 30 hours sla. This so-called escalation manager extends the sla instead of reducing it!!! We argue for about 20 minutes, same template responses.

                                        I hold airtel responsible for all the banking transactions that were suspended due to its incompetency. I wish i was a vvip to have received a preferential treatment by them. What is my fault that i happen to be regular it guy?

                                        I feel insulted, cheated, ashamed and disgusted to be an airtel customer. Btw, this is not the only time airtel has disappointed me. Poor 3g services in posh areas, call drops, and much more. Due to multiple disappointments, i was forced to log in to consumer complaints.

                                        Desirable resolution is getting my connection activated by saturday (02-apr-2016).
