I have a Airtel 4G Dongle postpaid connection (using it from more than one year), with number [protected]. From last 5 months i am not getting good signal, so the quality of speed is derated. It not even giving 2G speed. I have complained it to the customer care 4 months back, they told to bear with them for 3 months and they will install new tower. After waiting for 3 months (paying full amount of money) still i see the internet speed in the same conditon. I have called customer care again and complained about the situation, but they are simply telling that their representative will come and check, but till now no one came. They are simply charging me with bill but not responding. Customer care people gave me the following reference numbers, from the month of November 2015 to March 2016 (Reference numbers: 66292315, 68402434,[protected]. with using the full speeds i am paying them money from the month of November 2015.
even i told them, if they cannot provide good internet speed, please remove the connection, but no response.

    Respected sir,
    I have been using this number from 5 to 6 years and from yesterday night my number is deactivated without any information. This is very important number for me and without any information how can you just deactivate it without even letting me know about the deactivation. Now when i contacted my nearest airtel store they are telling me that it would take 3 to 4 days to regenerate this number.Please help me and regenerate my number as early as possible

      Airtel ticket number[protected]

      12.30 pm - 01-apr-2016
      Ownership transfer of my postpaid connection from my name to my company's name is initiated.
      I am told by my company that there will be a downtime the same night.

      07:30am - 02-apr-2016 (I call 121. Call duration: 1+ hour)
      Of course, as predicted, no signal in the new sim. My salary is supposed to be credited in few hours and i have numerous bank transactions to be done for which i heavily depend upon otp - sms.

      I call 121 from wife's phone and speak with ms. Tabassam. She creates ticket and tells me the sla for ownership transfer is 30 hours from 12.30 pm - 01-apr-2016 (Which is 06:30 pm - 02-apr-2016).

      I am disappointed and explain my woes to her related to the banking work i have planned. She is unable to help me, so i ask her to put her manager (Prashant #1) on phone. He keeps repeating template phrases to console me. I'm too tired to type how silly his promises were. Much to my dissatisfaction, i ask him to put floor manager (Prashant #2) on phone.

      Prashant #2 seemed to be a nice guy. He understood and promised me to keep me posted and escalate this. He called me in few minutes (From[protected] and said the issue will be resolved by 02:00 pm - 02-apr-2016. I thank him and hang up.

      04:30pm - 02-apr-2016
      I receive a call from airtel's escalation manager (Suguna) telling me it'll be resolved by monday (04-apr-2016)!!! Can you believe it?!?! I was actually unhappy with the 30 hours sla. This so-called escalation manager extends the sla instead of reducing it!!! We argue for about 20 minutes, same template responses.

      I hold airtel responsible for all the banking transactions that were suspended due to its incompetency. I wish i was a vvip to have received a preferential treatment by them. What is my fault that i happen to be regular it guy?

      I feel insulted, cheated, ashamed and disgusted to be an airtel customer. Btw, this is not the only time airtel has disappointed me. Poor 3g services in posh areas, call drops, and much more. Due to multiple disappointments, i was forced to log in to consumer complaints.

      Desirable resolution is getting my connection activated by saturday (02-apr-2016).

        Hello,

        Just received call from number +[protected]. ( it's cuba code )

        For almost 6 times back to back.

        I'm receiving unknown calls from haryana and mp from past couple of months. I blocked those numbers but i'm getting calls from various numbers again saying it's cross connection after abusive conversations !!


        Things get repeated for lot's of time and even the calls are back to back.

        No trace of numbers on true caller.

        Another thing is about international calls, i never answer such calls but those are too in repeated manner.

        It's not convenient to work with stressed mind.

        Please suggest any another good network who doesn't have these issues.

          Its been two months and still the issue continues. I made number of complaints to you people n number of calls to your engineer. But still connection problem exists. The customer service scheduled a callback from higher officials but no callback from them. Again i called customer care to enquire about it the pug call on hold for more than 30 minutes, so i disconnected the call.

          Kindly make a complaint on them.

              With reference to the above subject since from the commissioning of our airtel lease line we are not receiving any ebill, each time we have to call customer care ask about payment then we have to pay, like this it is happening and from last one month i am calling to Airtel`s Managers Mr.Krishna Prasad & Mr.Aman Zindal they both are not responding my call my messages. I kindly need ebill to pay the quarterly ebill for Circuit ID No:5167378. I need every Quarterly ebill to be delivered to my email id [protected]@midmac.in .

                  Reg my no: [protected], from past many days i am using the 3g data in my phone, but yesterday i have done a recharge of 255/- for a data balance of 1.5gb, and it has been observed that when ever i switch on the data it is intimating that around 100's of mb deducting in less than minutes. From past few months i didnt face this kind of irregular deduction of the data balance, i tried the same by deactivating all the applications and switching on the data still the same problem is occuring, data getting deducted. Now by this time i had 20mb balance. I use data of around 1gb for some 20 days like that as per my past records. Tried to complain with customer care and the answer he has given is to change the mobile handset from iphone to normal phone so that the higher net speeds is reduced, he is unable to answer why it is happened for present day as if im using the same mobile from past 1 year.

                  So, please help me regarding the issue, really irritated about this issue and making me to think whether to do another data recharge or not.

                    My mobile no is [protected].
                    I would inform you that today i totally embarrassed your network issue. I have complained on 26/03/2016 regarding airtel 3g network issues on roaming but till date didn't get any proper response from airtel side. My complaint no is c3gdc[protected]. I recharged my mobile with 3g pack of airtel but it still shows 2g network, i called the customer care they replied register your network settings to vodafone but while selecting vodafone it shows “registration failed, change your setting to auto select mode”. There is no other option to select vodafone network. I called again they replied the same again and said we have no other way. I tried everything but the problem is not resolved. This is just misleading and making fool of customers.
                    Please let me know if you can't able to fix my network issue then i'll port my no to another network. This is totally embarrassing your network and please stop your advertisement of 4g network, please provide 3g first smoothly.

                        I'm using Airtel's broadband connection from 6+ years recently on 16th march 2016 I raised a request to shift my broadband connection to a new address as I have moved from a rented apartment to my own house. On 18th march I received a call from customer support of Airtel regarding a technical issue and asked for 7 days to shift my connection. 7 days passed by I didn't received any calls from Airtel so I called them back regarding this they said they'll be needing 5 more days. I said fine take the time as their were some technical difficulties. On 27th march when I called customer care to enquire about the status they said they'll shift the connection by next day 1300hrs but connection was not provided on dew time as now I have called airtels customer care more than 20, times I haven't received a proper response, they just said tomorrow - tomorrow. Today when I went to Airtel office at platinum plaza Bhopal madhya pradesh Mr. Rajiv sharma misbehaved with me and said connection could not be provided at your new address and money wont be refunded as it is in our clause that money will not be refunded. Before I had monthly plan. I got this 6 monthly plan which I was using currently before this problem. I got a call from Airtels customer service about the six monthly plan and they didn't mentioned about any clause which says money wont be refunded. Big players like Airtel and many other MNCs have been cheating and eating up hard earned income of common people on the name is clauses and procedures. Today I went to head office of Airtel located at Central point, New Market, Bhopal. Didn't got a proper help there as well. Please get me justice as I have already paid Rs 5600+ and have used the broadband only for 2 months and they aren't providing any refund and misbehaving in response. Please look into the matter and get me justice.

                          I Subscribed to 4G Hotspot wifi on 30th March and paid for the device Rs 2300/- and opted for the basic service Rs650 3GB.

                          It was activated today, 1st April 2016 in the afternoon. With the help of the service number[protected], I learned to set it up with passcode etc. I did not use the facility except to check whether internet was working on my laptop.

                          Strangely, I receive an alert message from the Customer Care on my registered mobile number within an hour of activation )at 4.41 p.m( hardly as under:

                          " Data Usage Alert: You have consumed 50% of the data usage limit on your airtel No. [protected]"

                          I have not at all used the wifi/internet except to check whether I am getting connection. while this is so, I do not understand how I could have used up 50% of the limit of 3 GB.

                          Obviously, there is some mistake somewhere.

                          Please investigate and restore the limit.

                          Let me have your explanation.

                            Hi,

                            After requesting for airtel broadband, somebody came to my home and collected documents and cheque of rs. 1000 from my wife on 29th march 2016

                            When i asked to call center ["[protected]"] on[protected] at 4pm about broadband installation they said, somebody will go and install today.

                            When i called up call center ["[protected]"] again on[protected] at 5pm for the same, answer was "airtel broadband is not feasible at your area". If that was the case why they collected document and cheque from me.

                            Why airtel is refusing after booked a connection if there are many connections already installed near to my area ?

                            I am fedup with the airtel, there services are available only for selected people and selected area, i concluded after facing such a rude behaviour.

                              Dear sir,
                              This complaint regarding bharti airtel fixed line connection bearing account no [protected]. We had used this connection for 2 years and made all the payments on time. In the month oc1-15 we have faced problem with connection and placed a complaint against issue. But we haven't received any service from airtel later we requested for cancellation of connection. But the same not done by airtel team and continued generating bills on my account. We had acall from airtel representative that clearly told about the issue also said that without using services how can we make the payment. We vacated that house on 15-oct-15 but bills generated till nov-15. Recently we received legal notice regarding due of rs.1773.68.

                              Airtel didn't resolved our problems also troubling us to make un justified due payments.

                              Request you to kindly resolve the issue asap.

                                  My dongle number is [protected]. I had requested airtel customer care to terminate my connection on march 19th due to bad signal strength. The funny part here is that the airtel 4g ad which often is seen in tv and other channels shows that the 4g is available even in remote places of this country and i am surprised to see that 4g is not available at my place that too in bangalore (Nandini layout). The purpose of this complaint is to highlight to customers that just not go behind useless ads which shows that they have the best connectivity. I had a horrifying days using airtel 4g data card and paying high fi bills.

                                    1. 29.03.2016- Phone was stolen around 430 pm (IST) in Athens, Greece
                                    2. At 436 pm a call was made by my friend to block my no. The Service request no was generated.[protected]
                                    3. Immediately on return, I visited the airtel store in Kalkaji and interacted with store incharge who told me that there has been fradulent use of my phone with a bill of Rs. 1 lakh.
                                    4. The service request no. 68583095 was still open.

                                    Since then I have visited the store twice, called 121 four times and written to the nodal office however there has been no response. airtel has not been able to give me details of the so called fraudulent usage as well and are not reactivating my number as well.

                                    This is harassment of the consumer when the consumer has diligently blocked the number when it was stolen and taken all necessary steps.

                                      I was in the border area of india and bhutan (Jaigaon). I was charged for international roaming instead of nation roaming. When i called up the customer care they informed that its policy to charge international roaming in your own country in border area; even though you have not crossed the border. If airtel gives you the network while you are in the country they will charge, they deducted a balance of rs 800 on the same account. On my inquiry with customer care they said its legitimate and will be charged. When i asked them where the policy is displayed and if customer are informed they said we do not publish these on website and i should put efforts to learn about it from my own sources!!!

                                      Its not about the amount but the
                                      1. Non disclosure of policy,
                                      2. Airtel providing the network in my own country for another country without information or permission and charging for the same
                                      3. The harassment by ill informed customer care rep.
                                      4. My security could be at stake as i was a lobe traveller and needed the balance on my account.

                                      The service provider cannot make such illegitimate charges and harass its customer.

                                      I am attaching my email exchange below with them along with my travel papers.

                                      Hi,

                                      This is to complain about the incorrect charges to my account as well as lack of transparent information by my service provider.I am in jaigaon a border town in india. My phone started to cath international network which i did not opt for and deducted my balance of rs 849. When i called the customer care at 121 a domestic phone line i was informed by pawan kumar a rude, half informed and highly incompetent tl in airtel that it was because of international roaming charges.

                                      I explaibne him that i was not in bhutan but india while this was happening but he said when our phone cathed international network we will have to pay. Inspite i switched off my phone while near the border gate but beacuse airtel choose to give me connectivity i must pay for it. Also when i asked about the policy being disclosed to the customer; he said it was not their job.

                                      If the phone catches network even though i am in indis without goin abriad i shall pay for the charges. I called him under complaint number cbdvc[protected]. He did not care to understand and did not resolve a thing. Instead kept repating that we do not care you went or not you will pay as you ahve used the fecilities. Also i answered a call at 1pm as per him while my phone was switched off so i pay.

                                      This is a scam and must be publicised as we would pay for services not availed and there is no action taken. At the moment i am emailinf from a jaigaon cafe and shall present all travel document and permits to show that i did not go to bhutan to be charged an internation roaming. As per airtel we have to pay even we do not go as they choose to give us the connectivity.

                                      Such things are not disclosed to customers and harrassment is another thing from their side. I am alone travelling women and need phone for my safety and airtel with such act is putting my safety in danger by robing me of the balance to make emergency calls.


                                      Request you to take an action. Also will file a formal complaint on my return to delhi in consumer court with all supporting documents.

                                        For postpaid, i have a postpaid airtel connection. For the past 3 weeks, i am not able to make calls or receive calls most of the time. It works 1 out of 15 times, and that too after trying together for 4 to 5 times. Moreover, when i give them a call they don't understand how important this complaint is. They say things like you should switch off your mobile phone, or that your connection is still not activated, whereas i have been using this contact number for the past 8 months.

                                        For prepaid, my friend has a prepaid connection from airtel. Whenever she makes a call, she has to first listen to a full airtel advertisement, only then does the first ring go. Consider a situation where we are being assaulted, will we have time to listen to that advertisement before making a call to the police. They won't even take a serious complaint regarding this.
