I raised a request for shifting my Airtel broadband connection on 1st of December, 2022. I’m writing this message on 11th of December, 2022. It’s been 11 days and no resolution has been provided by Airtel regarding the same. I call them everyday and they say it will be resolved by end of day but no one comes. I’ve asked them to escalate the issue to higher level but no one is listening. I don’t know what else to do to make them respond to my request.

    Dear Sir/Madam.

    I was hospitalized in the month of June'22 and post discharge was asked to Work from Home.

    Hence I approached for a Airtel for a Broadband Connection under Airtel Xstream Fiber - Basic + TV Rs. 699

    An Executive by name Vijay was referred by one of the Manager (S Jayasankaran - [protected]) from Airtel Broadband Team located near Akshay Nagar, Bangalore.

    The Executive finished the Document Policy, collected a Payment of Rs. 2001.17 and assured connection in the next 2 to 3 days which happened on 29th June 2022 (UPI/[protected] | airtel.[protected]@hdfcbank/Upi Transaction)

    Till date i.e. 10th Dec 2022, I still haven't got the Connection nor a refund.

    Hope some solution would be provided.

      I reside in the campus hostel of Christ University, S.G. Palya Bangalore, 560029. The internet connectivity speed is pathetic and worse than 2g. I have complained numerous times beginning since June 2022 but the issue has not been resolved.
      Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

        Pole installed in front of house without consent

        During Covid, when I was out of station, Airtel installed a pole right in front of my house between two trees where I used to park my car. There was clearly space outside where they could have set up their pole.
        When I raised an objection with the service technicians who visit regularly, they said they'll change it for 25, 000 rupees. The whole ordeal just proves that their intent was to maliciously make money by causing inconvenience...

        from last few days we are getting only 2g service.

          Hi I have done recharge on Dec 7 for rs.100 the recharge was successful but it doesnot reflection in my airtel number and its was shoeing that the account was suspended may i know the reason why the account is suspended and i want like to get my money refund kindly refund the money or provide the service

            My phone number is [protected]. My services have been stopped as Kyc problem since[protected] I have complint in Nizampet village Airtel Star in Hyderabad on[protected] It has been a week till now my problem is not solved. Which store should I go to?

              From VI to Airtel and it was activated successfuly on 18.11.2022 but after one week i got a message from Airtel (quoted in " ")
              ""नमस्कार! आप पुरानी सिम का उपयोग कर रहे हैं और आपकी सेवाएं प्रभावित हो सकती हैं| अपने एयरटेल मोबाइल पर बिना रुकावट सेवाओं का आनंद लेने के लिए अपने मौजूदा सिम को डाटा सिम में अपग्रेड करें| नज़दीकी एयरटेल स्टोर या रिटेलर पर जाएं| यदि कर लिया है तो अनदेखा करें|"" and the very next day my number stopped working.

              I visited the Airtel store for sim replacement but the executive said i will have to pay Rs 50 for sim replacement.

              Airtel is doing cheating with its consumers by selling the older SIM cards and they stopped services illegaly. Even in your forum there are a lot of complaints of SIM cards deactivation in the November and December of 2022

              In general public interest I am submitting this complaint and request to please take strict action against Airtel company.

              I will destroy this SIM card today and will stop using all services of AIrtel (i.e. Airtel`s DTH, Airtel Payment bank)and mobile & will never ever use any of the services of Airtel. Also I will also recommend others to not to use any services because Airtel is a fraud operator and provides 3rd class services.

              In India only JIO is honest and transparent while Airtel & Vodafone Idea are cheaters so I will Port my number to Jio and will never use any services of Airtel & Vodafone Idea.

                UPC CODE ( VH197178 ) was valid till 15.05.2022 till 23:59, I made a port request around 16:05 hrs of 15.05.2022 but VODAFONE IDEA rejected my MNP request. I contacted customer care number 198 and the representative said that my UPC code expired on 14.05.2022 (I can provide call recording).

                For more details please check the attachments.

                I request you to please take strict action against Vodafone IDEA for rejecting the MNP request wrongly so that they don't do this kind of illegal activity.

                  Dear sir/madam.

                  Self visiting kSA. I am postpaid user and equired before leaving country about charges. They told no untill i utlize somthing.
                  I have not given any request nor contacted for this service.
                  They activated the services auto matically on one day charges 649 and keep on doing it to bring 6032/- bill.

                  As i got message i already intamted and enquired they said no but they said there were no active packs.
                  My number[protected].

                  They not responding to messages to rectify.
                  I want to port from airtel to other network.

                  Kindly request to waive off the automatic activated pack charges.
                  Airtel is simply looting in the name of auto activation for postpaid.

                    I have been following up for this compain since[protected] with everybody possible in airtel. Nobody seems to to interested in retaining customers. My line is dead since[protected] compain no is [protected]. To top it all i have been charged for the whole month when my line is dead.
                    Nobody has the decency to reply to my mails or call me.
                    Absolutely pathetic service – airtel is taking big about 5g,
                    first provide the basic connectivity without breakage and then talk about going 5g

                    i have even asked for changing my connection from copper coonection to fiber optic connection, but even request is left in the dustbin.

                      I have recharged with 699 on my Airtel prepaid number and as it was mentioned in airtel app and on web one can avail the benefit of Amazon prime for 56 days with this recharge but i think that it was just to mislead the airtel users as the prime benefit that has been provided to me is of mobile edition which is nowhere mentioned in the description of the recharge but for other recharge of rs 3359 it has been mentioned that prime mobile edition will be provided once recharged. Kindly refer to the attached screenshot image for the clear picture.

                      I have written multiple mail to the nodal officer Airtel Delhi division and also talk with customer care multiple times but they are neither responding to my mail which i have sent them on 4th December 2022 nor the customer care is providing any resolution.

                        My Airtel SIM/number which I am using from 10 years, suddenly stopped, and shows no service. I asked customer care they said the number is on someone's else name and we have to move to postpaid to get the same number back. I have business network connected with this number from years.

                          My 8-year-old working Airtel number was suddenly disconnected on 1st Dec 2022.
                          There was no notification, no call or text regarding the same.

                          The first day (30th November) my outgoing was stopped, and the next day everything stopped, and the network was gone.

                          It is causing me a great deal of inconvenience as it was my primary number that was always recharged on time. My bank accounts, credit cards, office work, and government documents are all linked to this number. As a result of the OTP/SIM issue, I cannot use payments apps/UPI or make any online transactions using debit cards or credit cards.

                          Long follow up with Airtel so far:
                          The day when it was disconnected last week, I immediately contacted the customer care 2-3 times but they gave random reasons of damaged sim, recharge not done, sim version is outdated, document problem etc. and asked me to visit the Airtel store only.

                          I visited the nearest Airtel store which was 25km from my home on 2nd December but didn't get any help saying 'Sir is not available'. As my everyday life is getting impacted without my SIM not working (no OTP for banking or other transactions), I visited the Airtel store again the next day (3rd December).
                          Today I was told that my number is not found in their database and permanently disconnected and nothing can be done now. When I asked what the reason was, they said they didn't know.
                          I asked what is the solution now, they asked to purchase a new number.

                          I tried customer care once again in hope to get some help but again they said the number is permanently disconnected and they can't find it in their database and nothing can be done.
                          I trusted Airtel over all other operators but looks like I was wrong, so wrong. Not expected this kind of service from Airtel.

                          I need my same Airtel number back!
                          Airtel is not understand the problem here, I have always recharged my number on time and using it since 8 years, not sure what happened at their end and they disconnected it without any notification or reason.

                          This number is linked with everything in my life and I can't buy a new number again and go to banks/offices to link the new number.
                          I'm also afraid of the SIM cloning case now, this number may be allotted to someone else and they may use it to withdraw money from my bank accounts.

                          Please help to check this issue with priority.

                          I see few other complains as well here which looks like exactly same issue,
                          Not sure how many people are suffering because of this irresponsible act of Airtel.

                            Outgoing Calls Barred On Prepaid SIM

                            I've been a customer of Airtel for more than a decade now and all of a sudden, as of this morning 12/7/22 all outgoing calls have been barred with only incoming and internet working.

                            I've raised multiple complaints and tickets to no response and pathetic customer care.

                            Apparently it will take more than two week just to review and resolve my ticket, such fools of the highest order. It is impossible for anyone...

                            Hi, i am residing at Sardar Patel Avas Yojna, Shashtrinagar, Ahmedbaad. i have just shifted house on 11th floor & i found there is low network, no network sometimes network outage most of the time. majority of time, call gets dropped & couldn't connect call again. even in my previous house which was within same society, there was very low airtel network.

                            need support from Airtel service to look into the issue since there are about 1500 Residences in Sardar avas yojna & half of residents are using airtel connection & all are facing same issue.

                              Hi Sir,

                              With due respect I want to mention that I am Yamini Kant Mahato and my airtel prepaid mobile number is +9192... The number is auto deactivated on 1st Dec 2022 without any notifications, neither any messages nor calls. The SIM was recharged for 1 year subscription on 12/02/2022 of amount Rs.1799 and will be going to expire on February 2023, hence I have physically visited nearest Airtel Office Airtel Store, Sangamvadi, Pune, Maharashtra 411001 and have explained the scenario but haven't tried to understand my pain while Airtel Office Manager was saying that the SIM was deactivated very long ago or the SIM was not using since one year. The Airtel Manager was speaking very rudely even not tried to resolve the issue. I was suck that how his Airtel Team is behaviour with his customers while I shown the latest incoming and outgoing calls records I also updated that the SIM is linked with AADHAAR, PF, PASSPORT, BANK ACCOUNT, UPI etc. But finally they raised the request and told that we will call back you at your alternative number as soon as possible but still no any response. Due to deactivate of SIM, my schedules have impacted. I am not able to make a call since 1st of Dec 2022, my all bank transaction stopped via mobile banking. I can't book a slot for corona booster vaccination. Hence I have visited another nearer Airtel Store, Loyagi Road, Central Avenue, Nilanjali Society, Kalyani Nagar, near Ganpati Mandir, Pune, Maharashtra 411006 on 3rd of Dec 2022, They are telling that we can't see any records of this number so can't help you anything please go to your home circle and check the issue. My home circle is in hyderabad Telangana and its very difficult for me to travel hyderabad from Pune, hence I told my Hyderabad friend to go and check in Airtel, Office, he got info that the SIM got deactivated on 1st Dec 2022 because SIM was running long years hence need again physical verification to reactive it.

                              Respected Sir, quickly check this issue and help to reactivate the sim. I am available for physical verification at any time of airtel office pune Maharashtra.

                                  Your relation with company still they display such delay. There grace period is over by 10.12.22 yet no decision.
                                  The talk time shown as zero with red symbol though the voucher contains unlimited talk time for 24 days. Why n how?
                                  How the complaint is shown as resolved when no timely solution.

                                    I had my recharge for the airtel number through simpl billbox on 6th December 12:25 am the amount has been deducted from my wallet but the recharge is still not reflecting on my phone number hence I want the refund
