Lien amount removal

I applied for an Axis Neo Credit Card, which was clearly advertised as Lifetime Free — meaning no joining or annual fees. However, Axis Bank mistakenly issued me a Rewards Credit Card, which is chargeable.

Despite selecting the correct offer through the mobile app and having clear proof (screenshots, OTP confirmation, app screen recording), I was charged ₹1000 + ₹180 GST = ₹1180.

I raised the issue with Axis Bank via email, shared all evidence, and requested correction or reversal. Instead of resolving it, the bank declined my request and billed me anyway.

On 25 June 2025, I filed a formal complaint with the RBI CMS portal (Complaint ID: N[protected]). Even after 30+ days, there has been no response from Axis Bank, and the complaint is still showing as "Registered with Regulated Entity".

Now my credit card statement shows ₹1180 as Minimum Amount Due, with a due date of 11 August 2025 — while my complaint is still unresolved.

This is a clear case of misleading offer and poor grievance redressal. I request:

Immediate reversal of ₹1180 charges

Axis Bank’s response on RBI CMS

Confirmation that my card will be marked as Lifetime Free or replaced with the correct Neo Card

Please resolve this on priority to avoid late fees, credit impact, and further escalation.

    Insurance Claim Experience

    I am an NRI customer holding two accounts with Axis Bank (NRO Account No: [protected]). I recently experienced highly disappointing and unprofessional treatment from the Axis Bank Nanjangud branch, particularly from the branch manager, Mr. Cariappa.

    On 24 May 2025, my account was charged ₹1, 742.47 as “Cash Transaction Charges” and ₹4, 523.33 as “Shortfall in Consolidated Charges.” These deductions were never transparently communicated, and I was not informed of such fees at the time of opening the account or during any prior interactions.

    When I reached out to the bank’s NRI officer, I was told I was eligible for a full reversal and was directed to the branch. I personally visited the Nanjangud branch on 26 May, despite being only two weeks post-surgery, and met Mr. Cariappa. He assured me the charges would be reversed. However, no action was taken, and since then, my calls and follow-ups have been ignored.

    To make matters worse, Axis Bank's recent response falsely claims that I was informed of the charges during my visit — when, in fact, the deductions happened before I ever visited the branch. The information they referred to was related to my father's account, not mine. This shows either a severe lack of attention or intentional misrepresentation.

    The inhumane behavior and false promises by the branch manager have caused unnecessary stress and loss of trust. It is appalling to see a customer be treated so dismissively, especially one who relied on this bank during travel and medical recovery.

    I have already escalated this to the NRI Services team, Principal Nodal Officer, and even the MD & CEO's office. But no resolution has been provided.

    I request a full refund of the unjust charges, accountability for the misinformation given by the branch staff, and formal action against Mr. Cariappa for his lack of professionalism and empathy.

          My uncle Shiban Ganju is holding a Citibank credit card no. [protected] in place of Blocked card no. [protected]. His Relationship with Citibank since April 2006. After changeover to Axis Bank, they said that card ending 9011 has been permanently blocked giving the reason “Bill of Rs. 9, 226/- not paid”. The last payment of Rs. 6, 269/63 was made on 1.5.24 and after that no bills have ever been received & nothing paid. He was also requested Axis Bank which bill is unpaid, kindly let him know, he will be happy to pay.
          It is very strange that without any consent of my uncle Shiban Ganju, they deactivated the credit card.
          When he was requested them to replace the Citibank card 9011 with Axis Bank card, he received mail by Axis Bank that they regret to inform him that they are unable to replace the same.
          This card has 2, 47, 669 Reward points. My uncle requested Axis Bank if they are not ready to replace the card, reward points be credited to him as air miles.
          He has not received satisfied reply from Axis Bank hence moved to you.

However, when we presented the DD at HDFC, it was returned due to a missing authorized signature. Is it the responsibility of a branch to issue a DD without the required signature?

              Hi,

              I had placed an order worth INR 5810 on Myntra using Axis Bank Grab Deal offers[1] to avail a 10% instant discount and 6% cashback. As per the Axis Bank (Grab Deals) Terms & Conditions, if no confirmation SMS is received within a week of the transaction date, a support ticket can be raised via their portal [2].

              However, the support portal is non-functional despite repeated attempts on iOS, Android, and a laptop—it does not proceed when I click on the "Submit" button.

              Recently, I received an SMS from Axis Bank stating that a cashback of INR 311[3] will reflect in my upcoming statement, but this amount corresponds to only 5% cashback, which is incorrect as per the Grab Deals offer.

              To clarify, I followed all necessary steps for this transaction:

              - Accessed Myntra via the Grab Deals portal (kept the portal open).
              - Added all items to the cart while logged in to Grab Deals.
              - Made the purchase using my Flipkart Axis Bank card on Myntra.

              I also contacted Axis Bank (not Grab Deals) customer support, who confirmed the 5% cashback amount. This clearly violates the Grab Deals cashback offer of 6%.

              I request:

              - A clear explanation for this cashback discrepancy.
              - Rectification to ensure I receive the correct cashback amount.
              - Immediate action to fix the non-functional Grab Deals support portal[2].

              Please look into this matter urgently. I have attached relevant documentation for your reference.
