I want to disconnect my landline with phone number [protected], as I am not getting the proper service and has to pay monthly bill without proper service.The telephone line is out of order always and I have to pay every month bill wihout using. .
So plz check my account and disconnect my landline connection and inform me accordingly.

BSNL — Taking bills without use of phone

I am the customer of BSNL, Faridabad, Haryana by last two years. By last two months my landline phone is not working which no is[protected] but they are sending bills in accurate time for rental. I have complaint about it atleast 20 times to the different-different officers of the concerned department but they always tell a lie. They have got the govt. job but don't want to do the work. They are wasting time and money of our country. Please tell me if anyone knows how i can teach a lesson to these types of people.

BSNL — Sending extra bill in every month

sir I'm using 500c broadband plan of bsnl. I have 175 free call per month in this plan. so i complete call count with in 160 every month. but they bsnl sending me 25 to 30 rs call charge in my bill though my no of calls with in free limit. i checked Bsnl web site for cal details it also showing my call counts with in 175. but when i complain in my local exchange they are saying call details don't include local BSNL no. its only show the calls to mobile and wll phone. what should i do now??

BSNL — Getting bills without phone

I applied for a bsnl phone with broadband connection on 14/05/2009 by paying Rs 100.
My consumer number is ------- UPWGZB[protected]
Till date I didn't get any connection line or phone at my place but It started sending me bills for each month.

BSNL — extra bills

I have been using BSNL broadband for the past four months. My phone number is[protected]. I activated BSNL Gaming free trial for one month. I had a call from BSNL officials stating me the trial is to be ended.So I decided to deactivate them and replied the executive who called me from BSNL to end my game plan. But I have been charged Rs.200(game plan fee) extra every month for four months. Please give me a solution as soon as possible. I am highly frustrated of this act. Thank You in advance for the solution you are to provide me.

    I just thought i would share the difficulty I had regarding an error in my phone bill. The entire incident was tiresome and further complicated by an uncooperative commercial officer. My experience could possibly help someone who is in a similar situation. Well here goes...

    I had applied for a change of internet plan from a limited to unlimited plan (which cost about 750 rs). However at the end of the month, the bill amounted to 50000+ rs.
    When I went over to the commercial officer he asked that my letter be presented so he could ensure that I hadnt made an error (I had neglected to take a xerox copy of the letter for myself). The peon brought over the letter and I could see that I hadnt made an error. In fact, the commercial officer had struck out my request and made a correction which resulted in my being given a LIMITED plan. To his credit, he didn't dispute that he made the change (he had signed for the change). He did however insist that I pay the full amount (50000+ rs.)
    This was the start of endles trips to his office, pleading with him to reconsider. Wanting to not antagonize him, I remained deferential throughout and kept pointing out that I did nothing wrong.
    I considered Consumer court but it was overly cumbersome (multiple visits to the court which my job wouldnt have permitted).

    Finally, a helpful official from the Accounts department came to my rescue.
    On his behest I filed an official complaint letter and submitted it to the C.O (this time I took a copy) and to the accounts dept. When a matter is under complaint BSNL cannot make an automatic deduction from your bank account. Neither can they stop the internet service.
    I stopped my visits and calls to the CO. After 2 weeks he began calling me back and offering rebate schemes. I held firm and refused to pay anything more than the original amount (rs. 750).

    After 2 months the matter was sorted out. He apologized to me. I paid the amount that was due and the issue was finally closed.

    FYI, I have heard from friends of mine that had mistakenly ordered the wrong plan and then were charged for excess usage. In their case they had to pay the full amount (in one case rs. 1,50,000).
    My matter was resolved quickly only because the error was on the part of the CO.

    BSNL — Internet usage

    Not able to check usage of my broadband account

    my self deepak sharma using a landline service of bsnl phone no [protected] {in name of smt Kanta RAni }is nt good .the service provided by bsnl is totally incomplete .the landlines have aimost have disconnection problem almost everymonth for abt 5 or 6 days in per month .Also the service of braodband is completely not easy to understand.In month of february, bsnl employees put the extra bill wich was later been corrected by us . and now in month of july they are putting extra usage which is completely mystery for us to understand. i dont knw that for checking my mail even for only 2 mins, i get consumed 105 mb o[censored]sage .its quite shocking service provided by bsnl and this service is totally nt acceptable now bcoz other companies also competeting in market.I m hoping that extra usgae shown must be corrected so that we ignore to pay the haigh bills wich we are nt responsible 4 it.kindly make it clear n make the error clear so that we use bsnl service wid liitle faith

    My name is Gourab Sen, My mobile no. is [protected]. It is Kolkata 99 plan. But after recharging with Rs 249 on last Friday i.e on 5/3/2010, I have faced a serious problem. According to this plan call charge of calling a local BSNL Mobile is 5 paise, But after recharging on 5/3/2010 call charge become 20 paise. I have made a complain on 5/3/2010 about this problem and my complain no. is 5206896 but I did not get any kind of remedial measure from BSNL. So I have made another complain on 8/3/2010 and the complain no. is 5213817. But unfortunately still now i.e after 100 hours of my problem I did not get any kind of remedial measure from BSNL.

    I have tata photon and reliance data cards for two of my laptop and i dont have any such problem with those two connections. This problem exists only with BSNL.

    BSNL is hope less and send too much bill to its customer and does not provide the Details o[censored]se. Its officer does not familier with customer satisfaction and help less to explain about the use so that, customer have no option except to pay the Bill.
    Am unable to access my internet usage in the BSNL site dataone.in even after logging into it....please give the link to the bsnl internet usage website & the instructions.

      I am a BSNL mob subscriber with mob no [protected]. For last 5-6months in my phone value added services astrology services,Jokes have been activated by the company without my consent. Per month Rs15 for astrology and Rs 15 for jokes is being deducted. Last month 15/-has been deducted last. I tried to contact customer care by dialling [protected] and 198, but call does not connect to customer care executives. Unlike other private operators BSNL does not publicise its grievance redressal mechanism widely and hence unknown higher authority mail id. Hence I have no other option but to knock at your door after vain attempt calling to customer care line mention . Hence I request you to kindly take necessary action so that my all value added services are deactivated and money be refunded as deducted illegally. I further request you to kindly request the company to provide its step by step customer grievance redressal e mail id for further help. With regards Yours truly

      I recieved an SMS on 31/10/2010 from[protected] that I had subscribed joke service, for which I had given no consent.from then on till now every week this sms comes and 5 rs. are deducted fom my balance. from that time i have been complaining to their customer care and they have given many ways to stop the sms but still nothing happened. in fact with their methods my balance was deducted with 2 rs for every sms that i sent to stop the service. on 12 november for the first time they gave me complaint no. 6395188. they also tell me that they have witten manual complaint and talked to senior but nothing has resulted. i still recieve the sms from 56505 and my balance is further deducted 5rs every week.

      BSNL — STARTING OF VALUE ADDED SERVICE WITHOUT PERMISSION OR REQUEST

      I have a mobile phone no. [protected]. I made a top up of Rs. 50/- on 6th April 2011. Within three days my balance got reduced to Rs.35/-. On enquiry I came to know that amount is cut due to value added service. There is no body to listen the complaint except to send a msg for stopping the value added service in their format only. It also takes 48 hrs to cut that service. I never want any type of value added service in my mobile and service provider start this services without my concurrence or request. This is second time, it has happened after top up of amout. Requested to look into and stop this type of chitting the coustomer. They should start this service only after we submit the code number, which they shoud sent by SMS in simillar fashion of net banking followed in SBI.

      BSNL — Mob.No. activation

      My mobile no.- [protected] that was barred/restricted for outgoing & incoming facilities since August. When i was contacted to customer care they told me to resubmit My ID for reactivation. That time I was in Ahmedabad & when I come to Basti In November I was submitted ID. And its now about more than 1 week but haven`t activate my mob. no. till now date 05/12/2011.

      Please find this problem & resolve it as soon possible.

        sir,i am using this bsnl sim for 11 years yet i am not having any cheap calling rate plans.Please give benefits for using this sim for 11 years please activate bsnl to bsnl and bsnl to other networks 10paise/min.If you did not activate it then i will port my number because aircel is giving benefits and offers for the old customers who have been using the aircel sim for 5 or 6 years they have activated 10paise for all networks.So i request you to activate this plan.I assure that if you activate i will be very happy and i will tell others to use this sim.so please kindly activate it.

        i have purchased sim No.[protected] on 01july08.
        But till date it is not activated.

        BSNL — Plan switching not allowed

        I had bought a BSNL EVDO Card with an unlimited All-Over-Kerala plan... The all over kerala pplan gets me connected to all the EVDO towers in the state and to CDMA towers in my home district and it's nearby district...
        The network of EVDO towers in Kerala is so poor that there is only one tower per city and so you have to be inside the bus stations or shopping malls to access these towers... And also, there is no EVDO tower in the vicinity of my home...

        When i asked them of changing the plan to Home Plan, the y said that this is possible only if i was renting th modem, but since i bought it from them, i cannot change the plan...

        The all over State plan drains about Rs.638 from my pocket per month... while the Home Plan costs only Rs.338...

        Anyone got any idea how to change my plan or whom to contact...?

          i applied for bsnl land line shifting within same exchange before one mont.till now they didnt respond.i asked in exchange they replied no worker and needed cable is not there.i also complaint in j.e. no response from him too.i dont know where to complaint for this

          I have requested for shift of my land line 22331397 on 24 Sep 11. Shofting yet to happen. Waiting for almost two months.
          Bsnl chennai kellys exchange : telephone numbers 26431821 and[protected] in person submitted application form for shifting of telephones in the same exchange area on march 09th 2020 . Today 1st december no progress.

          Went in person to the exchange so many times and no one is ready to answer and particular engnieer is not in seat.

          Contacted customer care - they still saying in progress. Hmmmm

            I HAD TAKEN BSNL WiMAX CONNECTION FOR MY INTERNET SERVICE WITH BSNL. EVERY MONTH BSNL CHARGES HEAVILY AND STOPS THE SERVICE WITHOUT ANY INTIMATION . WE GET THE RECONNECTION ONLY AFTER REPEATED REQUESTS THROUGH OUR LOCAL BSNL OFFICERS.

            LASTLY WE HAD OPTED FOR BUWI UL 1999 PLAN IN WHICH WE CAN USE WITH ANY NUMBER O[censored]SERS AND WITH UNLIMITED DOWN LOADING FOR A FIXED MONTHLY RENT OF RS.1999. BUT BSNL HAD AGAIN CHARGED AROUND Rs. 10500 for the month of july 2013.

            Student — Modem malfunctioning

            My ADSL modem is not functioning for 4-5days.I've net connection but whenever I try to dial to connection, an error message 692 appears saying the modem is not functioning properly.

            BSNL — USER ID

            I have the bsnl dataone connection for about 12 months.
            i have the 600C plan in which we got 2.5 GB of data for downloading and extra charges are applied on further downloading.
            Yesterday, one of my friend told me that we can use BSNL portal to view our usage by typing portal id and password, when I asked him that how this id and password are obtained, he told me that these are provided at the time when the modem is installed, but that officer who as installed my modem have not given me any id or password, so i want to complain about this.

            Respected sir,
            i like to draw your kind attention on the following fact.I've received a telephone bill in January for Rs.2592/- against customer ID[protected].
            The BB connection was installed on 28/11/2009 against the landline ph. no.[protected] at my residence.The internet service was available up to 19th November.Then PC shows modem faliure.I've requested to the concerned dept. several times to repair the modem when it started malfunctioning from 20/11/2009.The complain was made at Panihati Office.In this regard they send their representatives but it remained non-functioning and the connection is out of order from then.Being dissatisfied I've surrendered my BB connection on 13/01/2010.we have got services for 20 days,but bill reflects charges from October last 2 days to December and a security deposit also.No service in BB has available,so shall I've to pay for that?

            U got BB connection on 28/11/2009 and u says u internet connection available until 19th November ??
            Suspected it may be 28/10/2009
            U don't have to pay money irrespective of the amount of data u have downloaded within these 19 days.
            i[censored] have Home 250 plan u have a up/down limit of 1GB.For beyond the limit u have to pay Rs.0.90/MB.
            I think ur broadband usage exceeded beyond the limit within this 19 days
            Excess BB usage+Installation fee+Security deposit+Telephone Call charge may be ur bill.
            U don't have to pay security deposit at this time.

            BSNL — Non service and overbilling by BSNL Nagpur

            BSNL did not provide any proper broadband services.

            I applied for broadband and got connection in april 2010.
            They also charged for modem which is non returnable non refundable.
            It might have worked for about one month or so..
            The landline condtion was unfit. DSL was missing and so no surfing was possible. I tried to get the same corrected by lineman/ wireman. Meanwhile the compalint registering system of BSNL was not in place (for few months).
            I followed them continously but no hearing was given to me.
            At the end I applied for disconnection of broadband. The bills for broadband continued even when it was not funcytional from end of May 2010( invoice no.[protected], [protected], [protected]) However bill continued and no correction to the bill was made.
            I even approached accounts officer with an application for correction of these bills he said "now everything is controlled from Pune".
            To add to this they disconnected my landline for non payment of these unsolicited bills since one month.
            I think broadband will not gienerate any revenue to BSNL rather it will further provide a platform for landline disconnections.
            I have even seen 'High Value Broadband corporates appllying for closure of broadband.
            Presently I just hope that my landline will continue ( it is about 20 years+ old number) as it is known to all friends and relatives.

            BSNL — overbilling

            i had 3g usb stick with unlimited plan for 1500/- approx per month. without any intimation they changed my plan from 18 feb 2011 to god knows which plan. after that i came to know about this changes in my bill generated on 8 march (RS 100088/-). i went ahead and asked for disconnection on 15 march with a formal letter acknowledged by the cto in charge. but still it has not been disconnected and this month yet again i got a bill of 2 lacs. pls help what should i do next.

            BSNL — overbilling

I have not applied for Home 500/- Plan, but it has been activated and charged regularly from AUGUST 2010 till now & I did not understands your Broadband Services. Which process I solv this ''Over Billing'' problms??? I have registration in this side but, I did not better fill effect in this side. So, kindly help me. Did you help me?

              I am having BSNL telephone 2403223 at my residence at Kanpur and also have broad band connection on this telephone. Since last 15 days my broadband wad not workinf smoothly so I made an online complaint over the BSNL website.
              to my surprice, instead of this problem being resolved; now telephone is totally out of order since last 10 days. I tried to get it resolved but it has been told that this is due to cable cutting. I can not understand that how a cable cut can make only one telephone out of order whereas all the other telephones adjoining my house are working properly?
              I tried to contact on of the supervisor, as directed by GM's office, who in turn asked me to contact somebody and so on.
              IIS IT MY FAULT THAT I AM HAVING BSNL CONNECTION AND I AM FULL DAY REQUIRED TO FOLLOWUP WITH THE RED TAPE MECHANISM OF BSNL? THEN WHO WILL PERFORM MY OFFICIAL DUTIES, IT IS REALLY VERY FRUSTATING.

              Since a long time i am not getting the telephone bills addressed to my residence address. everytime i have to go to BSNL office and collect the duplicate biil for making payments. This was personnally brought to the notice of the Psot Master, Adipur. He informed me to produce the duplicate bill collected by me from BSNL office. my land line No. is[protected]. Also like to inform that my relatives informed me over phone that the had posted wedding invitations in my address, regrett to state that i have not received the same. I lost miminum 4 to 5 wedding invitations in transit. Hope i will get a favourable reply from the department.

                  the recharge RC 399 gives 900 Min as per the information from the website today that is 08/08/2013 when i recharged through online 2G/3G voice pack but after recharging i got only 375 Min on-net and 375 Min off-net when i called up customer care they hanged up my call and i cannot connect to bsnl care using my number [protected]. later i called using other number the information is that they will change in the website later, and its problem from the customer they say that "sorry for the inconvenience caused to you we cant do any thing" . see how bsnl people are playing with customers.

                      I had applied for BSNL landline and broadband connection on July 18, 2011. I was told there was no cable in my area and I will be given connection after laying cables. I followed up for almost a year and they gave me different reasons, sometime stating there is a shortage of cables, sometimes stating that they will give me a connection only after there are stipulated number of applications and so forth. Recently, they laid cables in my layout and I am still waiting for the connection!!

                      There is absolutely no one to take up the responsibility and serve the erstwhile consumers who have paid their hard-earned money and are waiting for a landline connection for 2 years!! All this, believing it is always better to avail the services of a public company!

                          Last month on 11/07/2013 i got sms from bsnl about deduction of rs 30/- against renewal of some service(i dont know which). When i called to customer care no. executive told me that this is your 3rd deduction(according to him firstly 5rs was deducted then 15 and 3rd time 30) and you had to call us after 1st deduction for refund, now refund cant be made. Then i told it means if a customer does not come to know on first deduction (as 1st time deduction amount was just 5 rs) then bsnl will not refund. Then he gave me complaint no G11HR305626 and said balance will be refunded within 5 days. After 5 days they told will refund till 25 july, on 25 july they told will refund on 31st july on 31 july said refund is not possible because i could not call after 1st deduction.
                          Now please let me know what to do against BSNL.

                          Mobile Broadband — Refuse to let me upgrade as advertised

                          Vodafone are the worst mobile phone company to deal with. I took out a Dongle broadband internet connection with them in October 09. The dealer said I could upgrade anytime. Within a few days I decided to upgrade from 3GB to Unlimited. Vodaphone advertises Unlimited for £18 whilst my existing contract is for 12.77 for 3 GB. Each time I correspond with customer services in India as well as their staff in the UK, none of them appear to have common sense. They said they can offer me a package for £25.00 for 5 GB.
                          Do they not understand that when I am entitled to upgrade anytime and have chosen the £18.00 package, this is what I will opt for. In the meantime they have sent a bill for £75.00 due to excess usage. I will dispute this. DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH VODAFONE if you want peace of mind. I will not pay this and will be contacting UK BBC Watchdog to prevent others having similar experience. Since they do not abide by their terms, I will henceforth terminate my 18 month contract.

                          BSNL — Regarding wrong deduction.

                          This is to bring to your notice that on 15th February, 2010 suddenly my prepaid account balance become 0 from Rs.293/- then after contacting to senior customer executive, I came to knew that it was for using GPRS service, and my balance is -195 and the system showed usage of[protected] bytes). But I hardly used it for 15-20 minutes. Usage of[protected] bytes by me is not at all possible. Going further into the case, data counter of my mobile, till date my all usage is much less than above usage. Then how is it possible.

                          Further I again contacted to the customer care, they were unable to solve my problem and were just saying that it is as system showed.

                          I request you to look in to the matter and reverse my prepaid account balance.

                              Please deactivate Hungama Music on Demand which we never requested and also bar all outgoing calls on my landline no.[protected] with immediate effect as I am receiving exorbitant monthly bills to the tune of Rs.1800.00. I am a state government employee and having BB Home Combo ULD Plan and my limited/max budget is Rs.700 per month. If I continue to receive the bills in the same manner, then I will opt for some other service provider with immediate effect.

                              2. Please bar permanently all outgoing local and STD calls from my land line with immediate effect.

                              BSNL — Deactivation

                              Without my acceptance the BSNL Cell one mobile servie is deducting Rs.30/- PM for their GK Alerts from the sms sevice provider no +5123430. Kindly arrange to deactivate the GK alerts. Yesterday I given a complaint to deactivate the same no action has been taken. Today they deducted Rs.30/- from main balance. Do the needful.

                                  I bought EVDO card fron BSNL Digboi about a month ago. They claim to provide a speed of 2.4 Mbps. I am not getting even a speed of 50kbps on my device. Despite this matter being reported time and again to the local BSNL office there is no improvement at all. They charge around Rs 850 per month and providing us with 2G speeds only. It is really pathetic and there response to consumer grievances is equally frustrating. This is clearly a case of forgery and non ethical business practices that we are witnessing here at Digboi. I am being looted of my money by this PSU which is think should be accountable for these forgery cases .

                                  They should be pulled up for laxity in providing customers the services they pay for. This is loot please save us .

                                  BSNL — Laxity of service

                                  I am totally fed up with this service provider that claims itself to be one of nationwide repute. I own a BSNL Broadband connection with Home Plan 500 but not a single day did I receive a flawless service from them. Either there are connection problems (Error: 678, 691, 718 or otherwise) or certain webpages can't be opened (the most frequent ones being www.data.bsnl.in and http://bbservice.bsnl.in/ to check the usage) or there are discrepancies in billing amount (I myself having sufferred thrice on this ground). At times even some usage records are missing in the usage portal leading to underestimation of the monthly usage which you only get to know at the time of receiving the monthly bill. The list does not end here. Even their customer care services are equally praiseworthy. Hardly can you speak to a customer officer in times of need or lodge a complaint against faulty telephone or erring broadband connection. The message you get to hear repeatedly is: Please hold on. Almost the entire day will pass with you holding on but the response from the other side will not materialize on any account. This is the kind of service rendered by this leading service provider. Kudos to it!!!
                                  I fully concur to the observations about extremely poor and shoddy service dished out by BSNL. I have been a victim myself and with on and off broadband connectivity for several months it stopped working completely about a month ago. After 3 weeks of wait few clueless folks (contract workers employed by BSNL) came to diagnose the problem with my broadband.

                                  I was told that they would attend to my problem soon but yet to hear from them. I have burnt my fingers with their atrocious "Lightening fast 3G service" also and would sincerely advise anyone against using any BSNL services in future. Please do so if you have time and money to burn and patience of Lord Buddha to tackle the dumb and slow giant BSNL that works at typical babu's pace with absolutely no regard to the customer.

                                  Poor service is common malaise in our country. After several iterations with several operators I have discovered that the operator I can trust to some extent is Airtel (not saying they are perfect but with the operator choices we have in India, they are at least bearable).

They told me that your number will activate in 2 to 3 hours. from that day till now my sim is not yet started the incoming & outgoing, and i have purchase it from their authorized office. not from the shop.

                                      we have a land line bsnl connection, it is not working since 6 months. complaint registered in our exchange and at ernakulam but no response in their side. some time the technitions come and repair but unfortunately within a day the phone dead. In my house my father and mother too old and cannot contact me when i am not there. It is very shameful to a company like BSNL cannot repair a landline and is a pathetic situation.

                                      Broadband — Not working since 6 months

                                      I'm paying for the broadband connection since 6 months and this is what happened:

                                      First there was a link problem ad there was noone to resolve it after so many complaints, lineman came 3-4 times but went back in a typical sarkari manner leaving it to be the problem from office end

                                      After all frustations i stopped paying them and thought something can happen now, but alas the number became out of service and there was none to follow up as to why it has been done

                                      after a month when i was left with no option as airtel and reliance did not have line in the location, i had no choice but to go back to BSNL and deposit all bills for no usage even a sum of around 3000 Rs. even for the period when the phone was dead for 1 month and there was no dialtone as the complaint could not be booked for out of service numbers

                                      finally after 4 rounds to the office and continous follow ups with line man and a bit a bribery line got up and after some days the ADSL link but now ...the username and password is told to be invalid and there is noone who can resolve this...please suggest what to do here, , , , , , , , mail e on [protected]@gmail.com if i have some way out...need to be on internet on an urgent basis...is some BSNL employee is listening ...i can pay you to bring me out of this black hole

                                        My broad band connection under Rs.850/- unlimited home plan through telephone No.[protected] has not been working for the past 14 days. Complaint with BSNL office, technician, not responded. This is not the 1st problem being faced. The internet connections are not working for more than 10 days every month. I became tired after having struggled with BSNL authorities. I have been paying waste bill for the broad band connection not working properly. So, I want to get terminated my connection. The Hon'ble Consumer Court may kindly be pleased to take action against the concerned authorities and my broad band connection may kindly be arranged to be disconnection since I don't want to be a victim among others by the worst BSNL service.
