I found sheer careless with the accounts staff working in BSNL office, Saibaba Colony, Coimbatore.
I have evidence for this also.
I disconnected my BSNL broadband due to this reason on July 30th, 2008. After sumitting the rental modem, I was charged for modem. I personally had to go to the office with the modem submission receipt and gave to the person in the same department on August 20, 2008.( concerned was on leave for 5 days). They lost the receipt and fortunately, I had the xerox copy. When I contacted again in October, the concerned told me he does not have the receipt and asked for it. Again, I personally went to the office and submitted the receipt. The concerned informed me that all the formalities are over, and he will send the deposit amount, Rs.1250/- through cheque. This happened in the month of October, and it is December 28, 2008, today. I have'nt received any cheque regarding this. When I contacted the concerned, he told me that he finished his formalities before and he is not responsible of this. What shall I do?
I have all the evidence of this sheer carelessness of billing etc. Can I go to the consumer court for my deposit refund?
