I have purchased two RIVOLI FABRIC sofa sets (2 seater + 1 seater), Order No. [protected], on 26th January, 2017 from
Home Town, Great India Place, Sec-38, Noida. While purchasing I have been told that the sofa will be delivered in a
maximum period of 30 days (i.e. by 26th Feb'17). During the period of 30 days (26th Jan'17 to 26th Feb'17) I have called
up customer care 2-3 times and everytime I have been told that the sofa will be delivered ontime. However on 26th Feb'17
I received a call from Hometown, Noida that due to unavailability of stock the sofa can not be delivered and it will take
another 3-4 days to arrange the same. I also received an SMS saying that my order will be delivered by 3rd Mar'17. But
I got nothing on 3rd Mar'17, neither my sofa nor any call from Hometown. When I visited the showroom on 4th Mar'17, I have
been told that there is a delay from the source (Nagpur) and they do not know when it will be ready. It was so disappointing!!
Hearing this I asked them to cancel my order and arrange for refund but the sales manager told me that it normally takes
2-3 months for processing refund and the refund will be in the form of credit note which means I have buy something from
Hometown again!! So I decided to wait. Now I do not know when I will receive my sofa!! I have committed a big mistake by
buying sofa from Hometown. Hometown tought me big lesson, I will never buy any item from Hometown again in my lifetime nor
I will recommend anyone to buy any furniture from Hometown.
