I bought King size bed from home town and all i could say is - Worse furniture ever. The bed started to make noises from the 2nd week. Home town keep on sending someone to fix it but the fix is always temporary (Read 7 days). All i can advice for others who are planning to buy furniture from Home Town - guys DON'T. Spend 5grands extra but buy it from Home Centre or FAB India but not Future Group.
Also - the customer care number - they never respond.
Pathetic services.

I regret shopping from you!

    Big Bazaar has announced Sabse Sasta six days Sale from 21st Jan to 26th Jan. However, few people know that there is one loophole in the billing system of Big Bazaar since the last two years which has not yet been rectified till date. This loophole is prevalent in all Big Bazaar stores like Vashi, Panvel etc and is most rampant in Panvel Big Bazaar. A consumer would be hoodwinked if he/she does not check the billed amount and calculate the rate per kg applied by the billing system vis-a-vis the rate per kg mentioned inside the store. This is applicable for all vegetables being sold.

    On every Wednesday there is a Wednesday bazaar sale where the vegetables are sold at cheaper rates. The prices are mentioned on the rate cards per kg on each rack where the vegetables are displayed. Now the consumer picks up the required quantity and the item is packed at the vegetable counter with the sticker mentioning only the weight of the product and not the total billed amount. The rate per kg is also not mentioned on the sticker.

    Now when the consumer completes shopping and proceeds to bill the product and pay the amount, there is a mismatch in the rates the system applies and between the actual rate mentioned in the rack. For example, Capsicum is sold for Rs 20 per kg in the rate rack and the consumer purchases 500 gms, the amount to be actually billed is Rs 10 . However, in the billing system the rate is Rs 40 per kg and the product is billed at Rs 20 instead of Rs 10. Likewise for Ivy Gourd (Tondli) the rate mentioned is Rs 20 per kg whereas the billed rate is Rs 68 per kg. The examples mentioned above are real and the prices prevailing on 25th January 2017 at Panvel Big Bazaar stores.We have experienced these situations several times over the last two years and each time requested for refund and rectification in the billing system so that in future this does not happen. However this loophole still exists in the billing system.

    The consumer has to be alert enough to check the bills everytime on the rates charged for each product by calculating the price per kg before they exit the store and then the fight for refund begins where the Customer Service representative does not accept the consumer version and then sends his person to verify the same which is then confirmed that the rate is correct as per the consumer. The difference is then refunded to those consumers who spend precious time and ask for the refund. Many a times the customer service manager does not refund in cash and tries to sell some other product to the consumer for the difference amount which is an unethical practice for their mistake.

    The above irregularities can be rectified permanently if at Big Bazaar, for vegetables, the actual price charged for the product along with the weight and rate per kg be printed on the sticker at the Vegetable counter itself. This methodology will eliminate all sorts of errors and the consumer will not be hoodwinked.

      I purchased pent from The mall Patiala big bazar and flat sale 30% on date 26 Jan.The product Mrp 799 all tax including sticker attached.
      But at the billing time invoice generate 593.14rs
      According to process after discount 559.12rs I ask to cashier for clarification he say vat on discount item but not show any vat in invoice

        On 7th Dec. 2016, I bought a product worth Rs.699 from Big Bazaar located in Deoghar, Jharkhand. The cashier at the counter made a mistake of doing the wrong transaction. My Debit Card was debited two times worth Rs.699 & Rs.706. When I told this to the cashier he said that it will be refunded into my account in 2-3 working days as he cancelled that transaction when it was being processed. But due to his mistake I was charged two times for a single product. Rs.699 for the product cost & Rs.706 for the cost including the carry bag. It's been more than a month from then & every time I visit there, they say that they will do the refund & ignore me every single time. The refund should be of Rs.699 which was the wrong transaction done by the cashier at Big Bazaar.

          Hello

          I have purchased appearls on 08/01/2017 from your brand store - CENTRAL, nagpur. That day we went to sectect merchandise of the half amount of our total bill, but due to shortage we didnt got anything over there. And when we approched help desk they said they dont have stock now and as they get from HO they will give us a call to come and choose. Then i went there THRICE but everytime they said the same ( no stock)
          But till today[protected] we didnt got any call or message and we went to central and had a look over the mercandise which was of soo cheap quality and only 80-100 pcs in total (all variety and all sizes) . And almost 15 people where searching in it and funnily ALL OUT OF THEM WHERE YELLING THAT CENTRAL FOOLED THEM/US. None of your sales guy nor your customer care staff is intrested in answering when asked about giving soo cheap quality product.
          I hope you must have got almost 5-7 calls today evening from central nagpur regarding merchandise and services.
          IS FUTURE GROUP / CENTRAL TRYING TO FOOL ITS CUSTOMERS BY GIVING SOO WIERED, CHEAP, OUT DATED, ROAD SIDE merchandise ?
          We have asked at cash counter before paying for the apperals about the merchandise we will be getting and they have answered us that u will get a wide range to choose from . And funily when today we saw the stock we were surprised .
          Today your staff said that "this is the only stock we have and no more new stock is going to come ; take it or leave it".
          Is this the way to talk to a customer ?
          Really sorry to say but central staff is REAL HOPELESS nd WORST at present.
          I have already mailed twice to your customer care but there is no reply from central side. And merchandise coupoun will be valid till 30th jan 2017 only. And almost maximum ppl will loose their money. As YOU ARE JUST FOOLING US BY MISLEADING ADVERTISEMENTS AND GIVING CHEAP PRODUCTS.
          Kindly look into the matter nd let me know what to do or kindly reiumberce my money back.

            I had done shopping on 20th Jan as i had got exclusive invite for 20 Jan 2017, but at that time i didn't check the final bill because i was in believe that you guys have not done any cheating but i was wrong as i had to pay full bill without any discount. Even offers was displaying there, e.g there was an offer on kurkure brand 1 kg namkeen as buy 1 kg and get one 1kg free but in bill price is taken for all four kurkure namkeen packets.
            I think either your software or your big bazaar executive have done something wrong.

              Sir your one of big bazaar is in xperia mall (basement) Lodha Pallava Kalyan Shil road Dombivalli east. There is no home delivery and your security not allowed your Luggage cart outside the mall where auto rikshaw and taxi reach. only those can purchase who has own four whealer . who want to carry through public vehicle (taxi/auto rikshaw) can not purchase in your big bazaar. we are facing a lot of problem. And when you charged for MRP or service charge then why not give me home delivery. Please i hope you can start home delivery and give permission to luggage cart where public vehicle reach.

                I had bought a 6 seater dining table from you store in Hajiali, which is now shut down. I was delivered the table with 4 chairs and was promised that the pending 2 chair will be delivered shortly ( 2weeks). The store manager was Sunil who was co coordinating with me.

                But to my utter disappointment I have not received the pending 2 chairs as yet. I was promised on multiple occasion by Sunil that I am sending it…. But in vain have still not received it till date…. It’s been over 6 months and still waiting…

                I have called Sunil up almost 60 times and also complained in the call centre 3 time but no success….

                Would request you to kindly look into the matter and take my furniture back and refund my money….

                Thoroughly disappointed with the whole experience…. Sunil has seriously been testing my patience …

                  Hi,
                  I am having profit club card with number[protected].
                  I have paid 10000 and can purchase 12000 for 12 months. I have used only for 9400/-. I need to get 2600/- They are not paying now.
                  Please pay this amount or allow us to shop. Card expiry is on 31st Mar 2017.
                  I am going and meeting Big Bazaar employes last 4 months. They are saying every week to come next week. Finally, they are not ready to pay for me.

                  why can't we consider that Big Bazaar is cheating customers.

                    Dear Sir,
                    On 3rd January, 2017, I visited Big Bazar at COSMOS mall, Siliguri for shopping. I had selected an item of worth Rs. 499.00. When I gave my SBI debit card to counter boy. He inserted my card in POS machine and I provided my ATM PIN as usual for two times and in each time 'DECLINED' message was shown . Finally he returned my card saying that the card is not working and you have to pay in cash. So I had to pay him in cash. After that in front of him my balance was cut two times (499.00+499.00=998.00 Rs) of POS [protected] at Big Bazar txn#[protected] and POS [protected] at Big Bazar txn#[protected]. I was very disappointed. The counter boy said that it would be refunded within 72 hrs. Unfortunately I had get one REVERSE POS PUR of Rs. 499.00 till date and other one is not yet.
                    Therefore, you are requested to take immediate action in this regard.

                        Today I visited Big Bazar for shopping. I select item worth Rs 260.25. When I gave my IDBI debit card to counter boy. He inserted my card in POS machine. But nothing happened. He again inserted this time also nothing happen. Then he inserted the card at next to his counter but nothing happened. Finally he returned my card saying that card is not working and you have to pay in cash. Unfortunately I had not cash 260 Rs. So I request him to cancel one item of my order and I paid 57 Rs in cash for 2 items. After purchasing I returned home. I checked my IDBI account. I was shocked. My balance was cut three times(260.25+260.25+260.00=780.50 Rs). I am very disappointed. Kindly return my money.

                        After entering the code, it will ask for PIN number. It would either be 0000 OR 1234 by default. You have to give the same PIN number two times and whenever you switch off the mobile, it will ask for the PIN.You have to enter the same PIN which you entered earlier, otherwise your SIM will get blocked. I had contacted tatadocomo helpline but they could not resolve the issue. all my contacts are stored in sim pl resolve early.

                          This issue is relating to the big bazaar kathriguppe branch.
                          Date 28/12/2016
                          First thing - I bought a shirt at a counter which said it had 30% discount. But at the billing counter they said the discount did not apply to that and they refuse to cancel the item also.
                          Second thing - I got a gift voucher from my office for 1000 Rs. And to purchase for the same I went to big bazaar. But at the counter again they refused to accept the gift voucher stating some lame reasons.
                          So I had to pay the whole amount from my pocket and the gift voucher went for a waste!
                          On top of that the staff was rude and ignored the issue.
                          Is this the service you provide to your "valued customers"??
                          Please look into the issue and resolve the same ASAP.
                          I want my money back.

                              i purchased a spunk half jacket from big bazar mayur vihar extention store, i purchased the jacket having size xxl which was mentioned on the tag of the jacket but the actual size of the jacket is Xl which is mentioned in the jacket, when i go back to the store for the exchange their customer care and manager refuses for the exchange and did not attend my complaint.

                                In have a purchsed a kids jacket from your haridwar oentagon mall outlet.
                                when i reached Delhi I saw that the zip of jacket is not working.So I given that jacket to your V3S Mall big bazar outelt on 01/12/2016.
                                They have taken jacket for repairs and told me take it on coming saturday i.e.03/12/2016. But after visiting numerous times they were not able repair that jacket till sunday & giving excuses like staff is not available etc.
                                On sunday i argued that why you are not repairing that jacket then after their sales manager of V3S Mall Vikas Minar road outlet started giving excuses that haridwar outlet damage we will not take.
                                As i was told in haridwar that you can exchange/get repaired from any of Big Bazar outlet.
                                So I was very disstaisfied from the Big Bazar Services.
                                kindly take strict action against the sales manager of V3S Mall Vikas minar Road Laxmi Nagar.

                                  It's very disappointing to find such a big company working in a very unprofessional manner. I have purchased furniture from home town ambiance gurgaon new delhi. Iafter the full payment our stuff is not been delivered to us on the said date. They never even bothered to intimate us about the delay. Even after making so many calls to them we are not getting any satisfactory reply from their end.

                                    We have an IQIP safe installed at our residence, purchased from HomeTown, Mumbai. Although the purchase was made 3/4 years ago, the safe was recently installed, brand new condition as it was kept packed after purchase.

                                      I had bought led tv from e zone, big bazaar, empress mall, nagpur on 27th of october as my shopping was above 25000 and festive gifting offer was going on i also booked koryo oven on 29/10/2016 by paying 1999/- and concern person assured me of home delivery once the product is available with them. Now till today i haven't received my delivery of oven. Now they are telling that product is already delivered at my address and i am 100% confident product is not delivered. Either your delivery person might have delivered it at wrong address or some wrongdoing is done from your side. And i do not find any satisfactory response now. So make sure product will be delivered as early as possible.

                                        Bigbazaar vishrantwadi, pune branch is selling expired products by hiding manufacturing date and mrp sections.
                                        On 15th dec 2016, i purchased 5ltrs tin of amul ghee from bb.
                                        They hid the manufacturing date of 11-dec-2015 and mrp. Rs. 1925 (Roi) with a plain white sticker and put up a separate bar code at the side of the can with mrp rs. 1952.00
                                        I only got to know about this cheating and threat to health n life when i removed the white sticker from the base.

                                        Tampering the original label with a new label for extending the expiry date and manipulating MRP is a serious issue . This needs to be brought to the notice of the manufacturer (in this case Amul ) and Food Safety Dept, Pune.
