I have purchased two beds, one almirah and one dressing table from hometown, Kolkata 2013-14. The furniture catches fungus during rains. After my complaint the company has sent two guys who did some polishing so that there is no fungus. Discussions with the servicing guys revealed that as I stay in first floor the humidity is quite high and as a result there is fungus all over the furniture. I am facing the same problem this year also. Request not to buy any product from Home Town if you stay at Kolkata and in First Floor.

    We have visited Saligramam Store on last Saturday for shopping, we found sign board near kids section stated "Offer : Buy 2 Get 2 Free", we were finding clothes for my kid, we spend around 1 to 1.1/2 hour to find the correct fitting, finally we found 4 dresses (for Buy 2 get 2 free) again nearby kid section for Men's shirts "Offer Buy 1 get 1 Free", again we spent lot of time and found 2 Formal shirt worth of Rs. 799/-. Finally we reached billing counter by 10 pm, while the billing executive scanning for billing, he has told these cloths are don't have Offer. I was so irritated by the way they have responded, No body was there to assist during the selection of cloths, no traceability at all, poor in arrangements. I may a purchase small amount of cloths, but the service level are very poor, Please don't give fancy add and mislead people, That's my First and Last visit to Bigbazaar, thanks. Please respect Customer and their TIME

      Big bazaar Meerut pvs mall It has been 2-3 times went to big bazaar but due to non functioning ac had to cancel our planned purchase . When enquired staff told us nobody bothers to solve the ac problem and they have to bear the condition as well. When I asked for complaint they told me to write on white board whose marker was not working, after then I wrote on complaint diary but the condition is same till date.

        I visited 3 big bazaar branches on same day and the price was different for pressure cooker(model: prestige hard anodized Mimi handi). Price varied in MRP as well as in big bazaar own discounted price at a difference of 1000 to 1500. So how to know the genuine MRP of a product on the day of purchase?

          Hi,

          I had purchase a profit club card 08 Feb 2014 and I have deposited amount of 10000 Rs.

          As the scheme says "Pay Rs. 10, 000 & Shop worth Rs. 12000".

          But when I went to Big Bazaar store on 02Aug2015 they told me that your card has been expired and you can not get the benefit of Rs.2000 and the rest amount will be refundable.

          But as per Profit club Card Term & Conditions

          * Amount unused after 18 months of the enrollment date will be refunded after proper customer verification. However the refund will be applicable only for amount deposited by customer minus the amount utilized by the member.

          In this point clearly mentioned the your mount unused after 18 Month of enrollment date.

          but they denied this point and says we can give you the benefit. while they already replied to me through mail and phone that you can you your amount before the card expiration date.

            on 3rd August 2015 I bought Danone Mango lassi from Big bazar store in Vasant square mall. Before taking a sip, I just checked the expiry date and found that the product was already expired approx. 15 days back. When i went to the store again to check the dates on the balance packs . I found that all of them were expired and were displayed on the front shelf of the second floor . This is the second time that I unfortunately ended up buying the expired product from this store . The first time I bought the flavored yogurt and consumed it and fell sick but did not bother to complaint and just ignored it . But it seems this has become the practice of this store to sell expired products to customers and earn money and not bothered if someone fell sick .Who will take the responsibility if something happens to the consumer .Does future group have any answer or do they only believe in selling products whether it is good or bad . Pls dont play with the customers life. This is not a joke .You are putting someones health on risk .

              Warm greetings!

              We had registered complaint against the poor quality of cushions used in the chairs that were part of the dining table we purchased last year on 27 August 2014 (Bill no.[protected]. Your technician visited and agreed to quality issues in regards to cushion used in multiple chairs. We are still awaiting actions to rectify the problems from your store.

              We have been following up regularly for over a month with your customer support and yet we have not received a resolution to our problem. Multiple emails were sent to crf.[protected]@futuregroup.in and no response was provided. Every time we call the customer care support we spend over an hour explaining the issue and are promised that action would be taken but now it is no surprise that those promises were hollow. Your technician exposed that the there are quality issues with the cushion to his reporting manager who was completely indifferent to the problems. He rudely pointed to us to send the images of the defect and send an email to the your email id. We tolerated his uncalled for language, attitude and obliged with his directions. We sent reminders to those emails as well through aman.parakh.[protected]@gmail.com email ID but again we received no response. If I may say this is the heights of callous attitude in consumer service .

              In light of the background of this issue, the harassment that we have gone thought or if we may quote "punishment of buying goods from HomeTown" we seek actions on following:
              1. Quick replacement of the cushions used in all the chairs
              2. Compensation for the harassment that we have undergone. We expect the company pays Rs. 20, 000/- as compensation.
              3. Contact details of customer grievance manager to whom matter can be escalated.

              We sincerely believe that this is our last communication to you and that you shall act on all the things listed above. Please note that we expect this email to be acknowledged and that we should be kept updated on the progress of the issue resolution.
              Request you not to test our patience and our concerns lightly and unimportant.

                Background: I purchased the Marina Kingsize cot on 27th July 2014. Within 2 to 3 months from the purchase the sheet and Lamination on the foot board started coming out. I managed then by putting Cellotape over the sheets. On 5th July 2015, while trying to clean the area near the cot, I tried moving the cot around 3 to 4 inches and suddenly I hear noise and see that the Footboard of the cot has come out from one-side. I raised a complaint on 6th July, specifying all the details. After repeatative follow-ups, on 9th July Carpenter Lal Bahadur visited my house for the inspection of the complaint. Mr. Lal Bahadur agreed that the Product is of Poor Quality, and the Footboard of the cot can be replaced based on my Request approx. within 10 days time. He asked me to share the pictures of the damages along with the Invoice to Mr. Praveen via Whatsapp.I shared that the same evening. On 13th July, Mr. Sapan called me asking to again send the Pictures on his mobile. I did that. Next day I followed-up with him on the replacement, and he mentioned it will take another 10 days to get the replacement done. The next day Mr. Pawan called saying that based on the instructions received from Mr. Raju Datta, the cot cannot be replaced and it can only be repaired, as we have broken the cot. I denied his statement and asked "what's the guarantee that even after repairing, the damages won't happen again within a few months, as the product itself is of low quality". He in turn asks me "whats the guarantee that we wont break the cot again". I was very much anguished and clearly denied his statement and stated that if the cot was of a good quality, it would have not got damaged just by trying to move it, within a year from purchase. The same day, I spoke to Mr. Lal Bahadur again and he clearly stated that he has conveyed the problem clearly in his job card and based on my request he told me that he will again speak to Mr. Raju Datta trying to explain him of the problem. On 18th July, I wrote an e-mail on the bad experiences before and saying, if the replacement can't be done I'll raise a complaint in Consumer Court and post my experiences on Facebook & Twitter. On 19th July, Ms. Shanthi called me agreeing that this is a Product defect and the Footboard will take 1 to 1.5 months for replacement; as there are similar 7 orders waiting the same. I explained that I 've not been able to use the cot since last 2 weeks and waiting for another 1.5 months will be too much. I still requested her to confirm that if Hometown is ready to replace - thinking that I will agree on getting this repaired may be till the product gets replaced. She told me that she will let me know the next day. I didn't get any call the next day and after following up that day and again the next day, on 22nd July I got a call from Mr. Raju Datta that the cot can't be replaced as the damages has been done while try to move the cot. I explained him that I didnt try to move the cot too much, and just tried to move 3 to 4 inches while this happenend. He in turn told me that even to move 3 to 4 inches, the cot must first be dismantled and then re-assembled. I disagreed on the fact that the cot can be damaged because of just trying to move the cot a little bit for cleaning purpose, and mentioned that this has happended because the product is of low quality and it should be replaced. He told that the product is discontinued and can't be hence replaced; I asked him if the product is discontinued and they cannot replace the footboard, then they should replace the cot itself with that of a better quality, as the product is still under Waranty till 27th July 2015. The same day, Mr. Raju wrote an e-mail asking if I'm ready to repair. I replied denying the same, highlighting the Worst experience I had so far. After a little while, I get a message on my mobile that the complaint is closed. My Questions now: 1. How could someone speak to their customers so arrogantly, like the way Carpenter Pawan spoke? 2. How could Mr. Raju say that the cot is damaged due to mishandling from my side, when Mr. Lal Bahadur and Ms. Shanthi agreed that this is a Product defect? 3. How could Mr. Raju say that the product is discontinued, when Sapan told the product can be replaced within 10 days, and when Ms. Shanthi mentioned that the product can be available in 1.5 months time and there are 7 orders waiting the same? 4. How could Hometown close the complaint without my complaint being addressed properly? It seems, as if they were in a hurry to just close the complaint, by any means. 4 days back, I lodged another complaint on their website stating the entire experience as mentioned above, and till now, I've not received any kind of communication from them. Hometown is just trying to totally ignore the issue.

                  Please be informed that I purchased one dining table with six chairs and a wardrobe and a king size double bed cot in the month of February, 2013 from your Bhabanipur (Kolkata ) store and my order number is [protected]. The dining table needed repair and 4 nos chairs needed replacement during warranty period( The dining table is of glass top with metallic leg type) . After that the different legs of the dining table got detached at different times from the glass and your different Kolkata technicians repaired these defects approximately 30 ( THIRTY ) times but again the legs are being detached . Please also note that 4 nos chairs had become torn due to its poor quality. I lodged a complaints on[protected] with your customer care over phone and they gave me the complaint number as 5139576. I requested for a replacement as these could not be repaired by your Kolkata technicians. Almost all of your Kolkata technicians tried to repair the dining table with their best efforts but they failed. I talked to your customer care ( [protected] ) a number of times. Today when I talked to your customer care the officer who attended the call told me that your Kolkata store manager would talk to me. Your Kolkata Manager talked to me and told me that he would send a technician and solve the issue. A few minutes after that I received a SMS stating that my complaint number 5139576 is closed . I failed to understand that without attending the defects how my complaint could be closed. I again talked to your customer care regarding closure of the complaint the man attending the call told me that your old complaint is closed and my new complaint number is 5140381. Again Sir/Madam, I being an ordinary citizen failed to understand the trick behind this. One thing I guess could be that in the original complaint I requested for replacement and in the newly generated complaint they mentioned this to be for a repair. Sir/ Madam please spend few minutes of your valuable time and arrange for a replacement and relieve me from further harassment . Yours Sincerely Manas Kumar Pal

                    Please be informed that I purchased a dining table set along with a wardrobe and a double bed king size cot which were purchased in February, 2013 from your Bhabanipur ( Kolkata ) store my order no is [protected]fi. The dining table needed repair and the 4 nos dining chairs needed replacement within warranty period. Again after some time the legs of the dining table got detached from the glass top of the table and it was repaired. After that a total numbers of approximately 30 ( Thirty) times the different legs of the table got detached and the same were repaired by your teams.Again two legs of the table got detached from the glass top. Furthermore the dining chairs ( 4 Nos out of 6 Nos. ) also have become torn. We lodged a complaint on 21st july, 2015 at your customer care over telephone. I talked to your customer care a number of times and I requested for replacement as these are beyond repair by your service technicians of Kolkata. My complaint number was given as 5139576. But today your Kolkata store manager called me and told that he would send technician and problem would be solved and after few minutes of his call I received a SMS saying that the complaint no 5139576 is closed . I tried to contact him with the same number a number of times but no body picked the phone . Being helpless I again contacted your customer care and I was told that the Kolkata store manager would contact me and was given a new complaint number which is 5140381. Your Kolkata store manager contacted me and talked to me very roughly and told me the due to mishandling these defects are taking place. But would you please tell me who with his sane mind do such thing ? At this juncture I humbly request you to arrange a replacement as almost all your Kolkata technicians have tried their best to repair but failed and one after another legs are being detached. Your urgent and quick action in this matter are earnestly sought.

                      Hi I purchased 2 door wardrobe around 2 months back in bangalore from Marathalli. But when Hometown guys assemble the wardrobe, the lock was not working.I complained to the customer care. after one month they visted my place and did nothing. The complaint Number is [protected]. The worst news is that i got sms that issue is closed, without my confirmation. Do not buy Home town Products. They do not Provide good services at all.

                        I bought wall papers from your Hometown store in the month of Oct 2014. The wall paper has not been pasted properly and it is coming off at various places. On filing a complaint with your phone customer care (Complaint no - [protected]), i was assured that the service engineers would get in touch with me at the earliest. However after almost a week, all i got was a sms saying that my complaint no has been closed & that too after confirmation that my issue had been taken care of. On contacting the customer care regarding this false misinformation, i was again assured that my issue would be redressed at the earliest. This was 04 days back and still no communication from your customer care regarding any redressal. Your customer care is really pathetic and lackadaisical and treats customers as whereas its actually the other way round. In today's competitive world of home retail shops, appropriate customer handling and care is of paramount importance in order to remain relevant or else fade into oblivion which am sure with your kind of customer service, you definitely will.

                          I had been to big bazaar kachiguda X road today i.e 20th July 2015 at around 5:00 to 5:30 pm in the evening. I was really very disappointed with the service given out by the staff present at the first floor (The floor having stationery for kids etc). First of all I got 2 mental math books for my sisters kids and even though there was price of Rs. 49/- mentioned on the books the staff at the check out said there was some problem in scanning the requested item. I said you can get your manager and he can perhaps rectify the problem they were lazy and said it will take 5-10 minutes then when I said I will wait they said it will take more time it is better to not buy the product. Then I went to the floor above and brought an ice cube tray and when I went to the counter there was one person serving another customer and even though there was another person free at the check out he acted as if he did not see me as he was busy chatting and joking with his co workers and when I said is there someone to serve then he came to serve me and then when he could not find the price tag on the tray he said he will go and find out the price went and returned and said there is no price tag on the all the trays I cannot give you this product. So I want to ask the management of Big Bazaar a question are you keeping your store to serve people or just for displaying stuff where the customer cannot buy the product even if he is interested in it? I am really annoyed by this bad service given out by Big Bazaar I could not get the books and I could not get the ice cube tray. I think Big Bazaar pays the workers it employs only to laugh and joke around and there is no one to help the customers when they face a problem. I want to warn other customers to be aware of this bad service and speak out if they faced similar problem. Lastly I want to say if the management of Big Bazaar does really care for customers they will take corrective action. This is one of the worst customer service I have received.                           Today on 17th September, 15 I had visited Yeshwanthpur (Bangalore) Big Bazaar. After shopping I gave some Big Bazzar Gift coupens. But, they  refused to accept gift coupens due to system problem. So, I didn't purchased anything..simply wasted my 2 hrs time. I spoke to the customer service also. As a customer, I never expected this kind of experience from Big Bazzar.

                            Dear Sir/Madam, I bought a dining table vide order # [protected] and took the full payment. They promised that they will deliver a good piece of dining table, which they didn't. The piece they delivered has got several cracks. When I complained of the issues, they said that they will get this resolved. I called several times to the customer care and every time they used to say that I would receive a call by 6:00 PM, which I never received. Even one day I met Mr. Praveen in their Marathahally Branch and he also told that I would receive a call by next day 6:00 PM, however, he never called. This is very disappointing and feel cheated by these people. If the issue does not get resolved in this week, I am going to file a complaint with consumer court.

                                yes i also appapplied for credit card and they are charging after 30 days they had cheated with us. they are just making fool of customer's n they are just making fool that they are giving goods on discount when they will made bill the price on bill will be same as printed on goods and in end of bill they say u saved that much amount just all cheating they are doing. I can get cheaper things from market only why to visit big bazar.

                                    It is a complain of kitchen, which i bought from Home town on 31.12.2013, the buyers order no. [protected]. The Sales Executive was Akansha. She promised us that it has 3 years warranty. So we decided to purchase. After 3 months of the installation i complained regarding the rusted handles several times and a few allignment issues. On[protected] your employee named Mr. Farman was sent to our home and he resolved the allignment issues and took pictures of rusted handles and promised he would do the needful after showing the pictures to higher authorities. I called the customer care several times too but no one resolved the issue regarding the handles. Then I got a call from Mr. Pravin . Initially he told me that it is not possible to change the handles as our kitchen was a displayed one, but i told him that you people promise differently when we want to purchase and after purchase you don't keep up to what you promised during the time of selling. He asked us that we've to pay for handles. I told i wont pay anything. Then he told that as it is promised by one of their sales team, he would continue to keep the promise as we are the regular home town customer. He then send another fitter to our house who again took the rusted handles picture and Mr. Pravin also gave me his mobile number. After taking the pictures there was no follow up, i called Mr. Pravin, but he told me as the handles are coming from Gujarat it will take about 3 weeks. I waited and waited but there was no response. I called Mr. Pravin several times but he dint pick my call. Again in March n April 2015 i complained to the customer care then they made Pravin on the line and he spoke to me . He said he dont have same handles but he has similar ones, he will send someone with the handles to match the size etc. In a few days he sent Mr. Yakub at our house with two handles, but the handles were too small. Mr. Yakub took the pictures again and went with a promise to resolve. Then after few days i kept on calling Pravin but he dint pick his phone. I called Mr. Yakub also, he gave excuses that Mr. Pravin is out of town etc etc. Mr. Yakub also told that there is a new Madam, Ms. Nikita who is handling the kitchen section, he would forward the matter to her. Finding no other way, on May 31-2015 i visited the store to meet Mr. Pravin, but he dint meet me, I saw Mr. Yakub and asked him the same, he told us that we can meet Ms. Nikita...so we met and told the matter to her. She was humble and she promised us that She will resolve the matter as soon as possible. Later Ms. Nikita told me that she has taken approval and will change the handle as soon as possible. then She send me pictures of about 12 different designs of handles and asked me to choose from it as they dint have the same handles available. i asked her whether it would fit in the previous hole, she clarified that she is sending me only those handles pic that would fit and are available with her. I shortlisted two designs and asked her to fit it. Then she called me after few days telling me that they have 1 handle short in those two what i chose. And then she send me one handle pic, saying this is the only option she has. This attitude of your hometown team made me crazy. What the hell they are trying to prove. this is ridiculous hanging one matter since so may months and an year. I am a regular customer of home town, i bought all the furniture of my house from her..the details are- 1) Buyers order no.- [protected] 2) Buyers order no -[protected]. 3) Buyers order no.- [protected] the above kitchen matter has been delayed innumerably a lot.                                       I bought a recliner sofa in last year august 2014 and i had a problem with that sofa and i gave a complaint before 15 days and from that 15 days i am roaming to home town showroom and calling them daily but they are not even bothered about my problem and the recliner is in warranty ... is this the way you people treat your valuable customer i brought so many items like bed dining table and many items in home town and now you people are very rude to me i dont know what to do and if no one respond to me i am going to make this a very serious issue and i will not leave this issue please dont make me do that i am fed up with your home town and your staff is one of the worst staff try to give some value to customer and home town dont even have a service staff what a shame on you people ... i want a call back now my no: [protected]
