First and foremost:

I wrote the review the first time on the promise of mr. Rahul arora that all issues will be resolved. But nothing happened, all we got is a lot of frustration. He asked me to delete and remove the review which i did'expecting' to issues to be resolved.

Country holiday inn & suites scam| fraud

I am writing here after one month of frustration and booking with country holiday inn suites.

Secondly, they are nowhere related to "country inn".

These are a bunch of scamsters running this huge scam.

They promise you 4/5 star properties and for huge memberships fees with the promise of false nights.

When you try to book something you get "sold out" #, extra charges for every single thing, forced mental harassment and lot of pain. Your holiday is in vain. I took two memberships from them worth 2 lakh each. Trust me these guys will ask for fake reviews in turn of false bookings and promises.

In spite of hearing sold out, i decided to change my location for a vacation. On haphazardly confirming the property due to mr. Rahul asking us to confirm repeatedly and insistently, we were ready for it.

But on the verbal confirmation, he told us he will only be able to tell you by tomorrow.

None of the properties on the chis website is available which i wanted to book. I have taken the dump of the entire website in its current state.

They are harassing and scamming people in name of false/forced/misleading agreements and contracts which dont abide the contract law of india.

They promise you of "full refunds" if not satisfied with memberships even after 3-4 trips. But the truth is, you are not able to book even once with me. I asked for a refund for the services but didn't get any.

I was also promised a trip to andaman on "paper" which turned out me a malicious attempt to extract the hard-earned money.

I have all the call recordings and email proof of the harassment caused to us.

I am reachable on [protected] and [protected]@gmail.com before proceeding with booking with these scamsters.

There were innumerable promises by mr. Shoaib and mr. Dhannanjay during sales. Mr. Shoaib in particular is a shameful human being with no moral rights and ethics. I don't understand how people live with this kind of mindset. Those are extremely deceitful and please be careful while dealing with him. I have all the call recordings and proofs for those with me. Folks like these bring shame to the hospitality industry and are shadowed by extreme greed and filth. They just want some quick bucks and live their life in pity.

Planning a legal proceeding on this.

    I have filled one coupon at dlf mall noida, few months back where the person told me that ‘country inn’ has opened new hotels at few locations
    Including shimla, jaipur, goa etc.
    And they will provide you 2 nights/3 days stay at their new hotels if your names comes in lucky draw.

    Then i received calls from a girl she informed me that i won the lucky draw for free vacation along with pvr voucher.
    I was not willing to go as i don’t trust in these offers, so i denied.
    But she kept on convincing me that i just have to visit the garden galleria mall with my wife for collecting the freebies.
    I finally said okay, i will come. They sent me a text message –
    (Welcome country holidays inn & suites india pvt. Ltd.

    "congrats!
    Mr. And mrs. Today both are invited to collect your gift vouchers your 1st voucher is 1 couple movie tickets 2nd voucher is 2night & 3day holiday voucher.
    Collect your voucher at for all details.. Plz take a 45 minutes
    Venue address: unit no.7lower ground floor garden galleria mall sec 18 noida near gip mall. Your

    In jan, when i visited given venue then prince mishra, feroz and 2 other person tried to convenience me to buy a holiday package by doing lots of false commitment like:

    We have 5000+ hotels in india
    We have hotels in around 30 other countries
    You will not get any issue while booking restaurants at any time if you informed us in advance.
    We have at-least 7-8 options in each cities.
    Each option is a 4-5 star properties.
    You will also get discounts in flight bookings, sight seeing and meals, if you take membership through chis.
    You will save at-least 50-70% on each stay. Etc...

    But when i came back and search about this company's review i found lots of complaint about the company,
    People are saying that most of the time all good options are showing sold out even if we are trying to book in advance.

    On their website:
    Only 67 hotels at 35 locations are listed under chis-associated category.
    Only 50 hotels in 12 countries are listed on chis-internal-exchange page (Excluding domestic hotels)
    Only 117 all hotels are available on both pages.

    It was not conveyed that i have to pay annual maintenance from 1st year as well.

    On above complaint i received below reply from country holiday inn (Chis) that
    "we regret to inform you that the cancellation cannot be processed against the specified reason,
    The membership is non-refundable as per agreement which is mutually signed as there is no valid justification in the reason being provided."

    According to country holiday inn (Chis), this is marketing strategy to do false commitment to sell the membership and it is not a valid reason to cancel membership.

    As per indian laws, including indian contract act, 1872. This is a void agreement which can’t be enforceable as it is one sided
    Which doesn’t gives me any right to cancel.

    I have requested very next day after buying this membership to cancel this request but still they are not ready to refund my amount.

      Chis has done fraud with us and they are not returning our money.

      They called us to visit there office saying that we have won some offer and presented the membership with us with lots of benefits. We purchased the membership and once we started to use the same, we got to know that they have told us all lies and false claims. They have cheated us by giving wrong information and now they are not returning our money.

      Here is the ist of false commitments and fraud done by chis while selling the membership:

      Their sales team have done fraud with us by saying that they have hotels in all european cities. This was a big lie told to us by them while selling the membership. They told us they have hotels in all european cities that we mentioned, and we agreed to buy the membership only keeping our europe trip in mind. We got confirmation from them no of times on this and they said they have hotels in all european cities. They even shown list of hotels in there website "country holidays". Later when we started enquiring customer care for booking, we got to know that they have hotels in few cities only.

      They told us that we will get hotels from chis and country holidays website within our membership only. They even shown country holidays website to us while selling the membership. This was a big fraud which they told us just to sell the membership. Because when we started enquiring customer care for booking, we got to know that they will give hotels from chis only. And hotels from country holidays website will be provided on extra payment.

      They told us that we can book hotels any time (Months prior). And now their customer support says there is a time window in which we can book. This is just giving wrong information to customers only to sell fraud membership.

      They told us that we need to give amc once a year for 10 years. And now their customer support says we need to give amc for every week of stay in hotels. This is a big fraud done by them. There were no such charge told to us while selling the membership.

      We are very disappointed and we are going through lot of stress just because of this fraud membership and they are not returning our hard earned money.

      Yes it's a Fraud company my friend I don't know how you made the payment and when if it's done by cc please don't delay and file dispute with the transaction with your respective bank. Call them and they will let you know what next you have to do. And please don't believe them if they ask you to close the complaint. This is a trick they use so their real face is not exposed online but I have taken this very seriously and I am now working towards it online to expose them in all expect till they don't stop this. I was also promised a lot but came to know all the promise was fake.
      Yes, now for some reason there are a lot of scammers in the tourism sector, especially if you go on vacation to Europe, in this case, if you are in Paris, you can safely stop at https://www.glamourapartments.com/, where no one will deceive you, it’s very beautiful apartments and service at the highest level.

        This company is fraud and their promises are also fake, during the presentation they have said they have many 4 to 5 star properties in india and outside india but that's not true and they have many hidden charges which they don't tell in presentation.they only have 2 to max 3 star hotel which cost much less than there plan they provided me and customer executive are also not very helpful.

        Today I received a call from Mr Rahul Arora (Sr Customer Relationship Manager) and he promised me to refund my complete amount 8, 000 by tuesday i.e. 24 september 2019, So based on his promise I am marking this complaint as resolved.
        He will not return easily...beware

          The chis company has indulged in fraud and made several false promises to induce us to part with our hard earned money. I briefly submit the case.
          I filled one coupon in the saket city mall on the insistence of one salesperson that there would be a lottery and we could be selected for some gift.
          After some time we got a call from another salesperson that we have been selected for free visit abroad or in india. When we reached there we found that it was the chis company which wanted us to purchase membership. Since we were not interested we wrote that we did not want to be member and did not want to commit for 10 years. We got up and told him so.
          Then the senior salesman told us that we could avail 14 days in year in one go and seven days separately in that year thus, we could complete in 3 or 4 years the quota of 70 days. He also told us that we could stay at 5 star hotels of our choice. Only we have to indicate our choice of five star hotel. He showed us the company’s links with several aggregators dealing with hospitality on he board. It included booking.com which we are using otherwise. He also stated that we would get better rates than what are given by bookin.com. We agreed to make the payment of rs 152500/- on the above conditions.
          When we received the acknowledgement we shocked to see that there was annual charges of rs 7, 000/ plus gst. What shocked us that it mentioned only 6 nights would be available in one year. We told the sales representative who sent a message on whatsapp that we could stay for 14 days plus 7 days in a year as promised and he would get the necessary amendments made in the letter. So far no authorised letter has been sent. This was the first false promise made by the company.
          When we did not get the card which was supposed to allow us to avail the free coupon and our membership privilege, we went to the office in the mgf mall. We were shocked to see that the people in the office were not willing to talk with us. However when we told them that we did not get the card which is essential to book a room, they said that we could write to customer care. This reflected poorly of the company’s hospitality. I pointed it out the customer care.
          After we got the card one moth and 10 days later, we asked them to book two rooms [one from the gift voucher and other from my quota of 70 days] at the amari pattaya, north (Thailand, five star hotel). They informed that there was no accommodation available there and they offered the names of three hotels which were not five star. We agreed but later they told us that we can get accommodation at attari nova suites (Not five star) and added that “we can provide you booking for 2 rooms 4 adults 1st room will be from your complimentary offer and 2nd room will be from your membership. 6 nights will be deducted from your membership holidays for 4 nights in pattaya for 2nd room.” this was never told to us and was added afterwards stating that this the company decision. This was another mischief played by them to cheat us.
          Today i saw that in the amari north hotel the accommodation was available. This lie was deliberately told to us with the mala fide intent to coerce us to accept a lower category hotel accommodation under the belief that accommodation in the five star hotel was not available.
          Since we had made the plans to visit, we agreed to that under coercion. Further they asked me to pay the annual charges (Rs 8260/) and separately for the breakfast (Rs. 7824.00). I promptly paid on the 6th september morning and requested them to send the confirmation for the reservation so that i can apply for visa and purchase air tickets. I told them that as air ticket’s fare would increase as we approach the date, please send me the reservation slip at the earliest.
          So far 17 days have passed by and 12 days after making payment i have not received the confirmation. They did not even respond to my mails for the last couple of days. This is against the all kinds of norms. After i sent e mail on the 17th september 2019 to not to process now as i am not interested in remaining the member of this company which could not get us reservation slip after the lapse of 17 days and they had stopped responding to my e mails. I sent them a notice for cancelling my membership and our money. At this they sent a mail saying that now they are sending the details to hotel. I have again reiterated that now i am not interested in having any links with a fraud company which deliberately tried to cheat us.
          After making payment and not getting the reservation slip has caused mental tension and extreme anxiety. For old people like us this is not good.
          The agreements sent to us is one sided violating the indian law of contract. They have also gave false information and not provided the slip even after 17 days of request. There is no provision for punishment for not fulfilling the service promised. This is another evidence of their evil intent to cheat the customers like us.
          The website is gives the following details which are not matching with their promises or reflected in the office board.

          In essence, first the company gave false promises that accommodation in five star hotels of choice would ne arranged. They projected on the board that they had links with 5000 properties and booking.com was one of them. They gave misinformation and false promises with you view to induce us to part with our hard earned money. This falls under the unfair trade practices.
          Secondly, after we approached them for five star hotel they misleading information that accommodation was not available and coerced us to accept inferior accommodation. The company has not kept its promise.
          Third, they introduced a new policy that they would charge for 6 days even when we were going to stay for four days. We were not informed about it earlier. This cannot be justified on any reasonable logic. This was an arbitrary action.
          Fourth, they made us to pay rs 8260/ as annual charges and extra payment for breakfast. However, even after 17 days they have not provided the reservation slip even at the inferior hotel. All these are not selling strategies but down right cheating. This also falls under the non-fulfilment of its responsibilities and the poor customer service.
          Fifthly, the contract is one sided. There is no caluse for imposing penalty for not providing the service. This goes against the contract laws.
          I cannot remain member of this company which is only interested in extorting money and not providing the service for which i became its member. I am not interested in having links with this company which gives false information, which is highly inefficient and not doing what they are supposed to do.
          I want my membership be refunded and the additional amount paid as annual fee and for breakfast. I have given notice to the company.
          I have so far not availed any concession from the company.

          We received a call from one Rahul Arora stating that he is the Senior Manager Customer care. He started giving reasons for not being able to gives reservation as coordination takes a long time. We sternly told him to refund my money and not discuss the issue with us. However I was shocked to receive a mail yesterday in the evening that Rahul had explained the issue and I am requested to continue. This is far from the truth. I clearly told him that there was no question of continuing with this company. This to bring to your notice that the company keeps on telling lies.

          The Company keeps on sending mails asking us not withdraw with the sinister design to delay the payment and cover their misdeeds as also further escalation of the case. If there would have been any sense of shame in them they should have not only refunded the amount taken from us but should have paid penalty. We are not responding to any mail as we have taken a decision not to be with them. Please tell them to refund my amount.

          On their website the following refund policy is given

          In case of any valid point of dissatisfaction, The member can cancel their membership within 7 days of availing their first holiday by writing to us at [protected]@countryholidaysinnsuites.com. Refund will be processed after deducting administration charges, ASF and GST.
          My case is that they did not arrange even my first visit. Hence they should refund my membership amount.
          Today they have suspended their website. However I took the screen shot which is attached.

          My friends from legal profession have brought to my notice the Consumer Protection Act that was approved by the President on the 9th August 2019 to provide for protection of the interests of consumers and for the said purpose, to establish authorities for timely and effective administration and settlement of consumers' disputes and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. It defines consumer rights [Chapter 1, Para 9], unfair contract [Chapter 1, Para 46], unfair trade practices including misleading advertisements in relations to product or services [Chapter 1, 28 (I to iv) and 47 with all the sub-clauses] and punishment for harming consumers that includes mental agony and emotional distress [Chapter 1, 22 (iii)]. The liability of the service provider is defined in Chapter VI Para 85 and offences and penalties are covered in Chapter VII. On refund for defective, faulty or inadequate service, the clause provides inclusion of interest as also to give compensation. On the advice of my legal experts, I am mentioning about the Act so that CHIS may not claim ignorance of the Act later. It is available on websitehttp://egazette.nic.in/WriteReadData/2019/210422.pdf.

          So far no refund has been made. We have demanded in writing about the refund of the amounts. The CHIS has not responded till now. Fortunately, the Consumer Protection Act of 2019 contains provisions to safeguard consumer rights. It has provisions for strict penalties for misleading advertisements, for seeking compensation for faulty or defective or deficient service and harm caused to consumers which includes mental agony and anxiety and covers the service providers. The ‘defined consumer rights’ cannot be denied. The Central Authority can investigate on its own or issues brought by the Govt. for misleading advertisements and take necessary punitive action.

            This is regarding availed Membership No. CHW040562 which was availed around 12:15 A.M, 22/7/2019.

            There are the wrong and unethical practices which are being conducted here. We wanted to have cancellation since the very next day membership was given to us by sales person by misguiding and manipulating the facts.

            I have had very pathetic experience both from customer care and sales people of the company.

            We haven’t availed any services or utilize any of the vouchers shared with us yet, and would like to return them back happily, and still country Inn wants to loot the consumers and don't want to refund.

            We did not receive any email nor text confirmation/ acknowledgement post enrolling for the membership - which made us quite skeptical about the kind of services which we would get in future.

            - No phone call or customer engagement activity in the first few days. Only after 5 days, received the welcome call - this again tells a lot about the kind of services we would get in future.

            - We feel like we were misguided regarding the membership plan as certain things while selling the membership which were told are untrue and manipulated as well.

            a) First of all many times, 'country inn' keywords were used, and junior salesperson said that we must have heard and knowing the famous country inn already, which was manipulation of the Company Branding itself while selling.
            b) Secondly, we were told by the junior sales person that all Lemon Tree properties are associated with CHIS as Lemon Tree does not have any franchise, and all its properties are associated with CHIS. This is actually again untrue as many Lemon Tree properties are not associated/ listed on website by CHIS.
            c) We were known the calculation of per day cost of 105 days membership plan as in (Total membership cost / 105 membership days plan) - this sort of calculation itself is misleading and manipulating as later we came to know if one would go for 2 nights and 3 days stay - then out of 105, 3 days will be deducted. And certainly a general traveler would require a stay of 2-3 nights max in one stretch in one property.
            d) When we asked for the copy of the membership agreement, we were denied of the same from the sales person saying that won't be necessary, and manipulated by saying that we can reach out to him in case of any issues.

            I called the Sales representative(Venue Manager), Mr. Alam, Star Mall Sector 30 branch, Gurgaon, yesterday (22/7/2019) regarding the same for cancellation and he told to get back to customer case for any cancellation. I then called customer care in the morning today (23/7/2019) (Neha and Vishakha) and was told my application has not been received/ processed with them yet as it was holiday yesterday.

            Since the first day I have been continuously following up patiently for almost 2 months, and have been floated by CHIS from department to another and then to another and with people not responding. I certainly don't want such kind of customer care and sales services.

            After following up 1000 times, this SCAM company is denying for the refund when I have not used any of its services and had pathetic experience so far.

            How would anyone would continue and trust with such a company conducting false and unethical practices?

            These are the wrong and unethical practices which are being conducted here. This is the SCAM company and conducting very unethical practices.

              Dear all,

              During sale of their plans they promised lot of things and later denied to give service in accordance.
              1. During sell they promised many additional coupons like movie voucher and additional voucher regarding travel and all but after paying full money of 1 lakh and 58 thousands they did not sent a single coupons after so many follow up i got the coupon after three months.

              2. During sell they promised that if i am booking holiday with my family/friends and want to book more than 1 room then same will be adjusted from my remaining holiday and given me example like: if i am booking 2 room for 4 day then total 8 days will be deducted from my holiday balance but now when i want to book my first holiday for ooty in "gem park" then they are saying that i need to pay 7000/night for second room.

              3. When i remind them about the policy then almost after 1 week when they realize their mistake then started lying that second room is not available.

              4. Even i asked them to let me know what are other properties are their which i can use for two room booking they are not replying.

              I have paid total money at one go which 1.58 lakh. Now i realize they are a big fraud. I want all my money back. I do have all call recordings and mail chain with me..

              Hi All, I am marking this complaint as resolved as after 11 days of continuous discussion and also after complaining here I got call from customer care head and we both together come to common point of conclusion and I satisfied with the solution they provided.                 We were shopping in stanmax where someone came distributing the chis lucky draw coupons. We casually gave our name and contact details believing that they are advertising in reputed mall so might be the reliable one to give details. After two days we got the call on 8-april-2019 to collect the coupons from radisson. We went there, attended 45 mins session, which was total waste of time, in lieu of giving the coupons. Its there where they started luring with their properties and offers to sell the membership to us (Shoib khan being our rm for the same). Since its not much of time went off, so we do remember each of false statements marked by them
                - availability of 4500+ properties nationally and internationally
                - easy booking facility
                - atleast 4-5 options in every listed city

                We were really prompted to take the decision there and then only and leave after making full of the payment as its their policy. We told if we can give the payment in two halves. Rm persuade us to give payment in full and that he can then give us more of the discount. So from rs.2, 00, 000 (Apprx) he offered us same membership in rs.1, 65, 000 (A complete marketing strategy). Somehow he managed to convince us and then making some of the payment through debit card, when we asked him to give rest of the amount next day itself, he offered us to be accompanied by a person to our home to collect the wholesome of payment. We got the payment receipt two days later and that too after asking for it quite no of time. Now i question

                - how come chis sent a person to accompany to our home to collect payment even after 10.30 pm and when we wanted booking, no one was there to respond and we kept on waiting for days? I mean, they have people to collect money even late night but they cannot respond or book even if you make 100 calls a day.

                - why is that our rm is not available when we were about to book our holiday? I mean, for initial two days, we kept on calling or texting him but he gave 0 response.

                - when chis have properties nationally and internationally too, why we were forced to accept the poorest of the property in our holiday? I mean, in the off season of place when the tourist count to minimal at the place; we didn't got the property we wanted even after sharing our preference. Chis told us its non-availability but as we checked from our end, it was definitely and easily available. They gave us only single option to choose from giving us no benefit of choosing.

                - why there is no single point of contact while making booking? I mean, from day 1, we kept on calling rm, then chis customer care. People there rolled us from one to other. We were getting single response a day. Furthermore, person out there responded when we made numerous requests to them to respond. And all this exhausted us well enough.

                - why we were asked of extra amount of breakfast when we didn't wanted breakfast to be inclusive? I mean, they told us that paying for breakfast is mandatory but as we refused it they accepted to not charge.

                Thrashed by our whole experience, as we decided to terminate our membership and checked for formalities on chis website, we followed necessary steps and validated our point of termination. They are now not initiating the termination. They are rather getting us stuck under mail chains for the single issues. We have proofs of our each point said. I don't know now if something else to be followed for terminating the membership. We are highly fed up, any help will be highly appreciated.

                As we received the call from some Senior Manager of CHIS, we went through the same discussion we had already did in the form of calls or mails and doing from past a month now. The person was continually asking us for a validate reason and was stuck on two point of opposition - What problem we faced in the booked hotel and Why we opted for the hotel if we didn't liked it. He however advised us - You should have seen the photos on Google before going on holiday, etc etc. Sir, if you are reading this, we have already told you thousands number of times that we were given only single option to choose from and that too when we had made like 50 calls to CHIS people, from one end of contact to another, going to and fro just to get our booking. Apart from that, you were like hell in terms of communication and other sorts of favor one wants from their travel agents. Hotel was although fine, our pain area is your service. On these terms, we don't want the CHIS membership and had initiated the process just the way mentioned on the website. Now, how the man who conversed with us yesterday is arguing of this not being their policy.
                We know the frauds of the company now when it is happening with us, the false statements were made and service is worst and poorest. We are not at all willing to continue with you under lieu of entire scenario. Good if you can tell us the procedure to follow.
                (Note : I've attached the refund policy statements and the mail chain we are already suffering with that had bone-tired us to go on other ways)

                Yes, you must have read the comment above but I'm sure you haven't noticed the pain areas we mentioned in our complaint. Hotel was fine, services were fine; but it worth the charges we had paid you. Adding on, do you want us to screenshot each mail and call log we had with CHIS people? Why are you targeting us on the point that we have chosen hotel and that services were given. Let me remind you again (for the 31st time again), we have given no option to choose from. Secondly, why you asked us to pay extra for breakfast against our willingness, we resisted and just because of that you accepted, else the person was guiding us this to be mandatory according to your so called clauses, which is written nowhere. Thirdly, no value of money we have seen in hotel booked. The hotel we asked to book was having the availability, just tell us, why we denied booking there?
                Not on any assurance from you we want to continue with CHIS. You are draining us on the matter of refunding and trying to superimpose just two points on us as you don't have valid points to state. We just want refund and no more promises from you. Its already much of time we are requesting, try to respect our patience.

From the very start we are saying the same thing to one person or other from CHIS. This would be the last update on this complaint since I cannot repeat the same story 100 times more. We are fed up from your vague responses everytime. We cannot handle the mindless people sitting there anymore. Your best service has already been experienced by us and we are not willing to continue with you on any terms. You was not listening to us on mails and had to follow this way.                   1) want cancel my membership CHIS777807, as I did not availed any of your services and fake promise are made to me. First they told me that 1) I will always get 5 star hotel as they own many properties 2) they told me that will get food in 5 star hotels for ₹750 to 1259 3) air tickets will provided @30 % discounts 4) no peak season issue and can avail any time holiday package with no EXTRA cost.5) they told us that they are Carlson group country inn by nodding their head.

                  First I decided not to take but they don’t make leave their office by saying will take 15 more min, they pressurise me to take offer, one time Mr. Akhtar Hussain even got angry at me, they didn’t give us time to discuss. And where standing on our head to make payments. After long I paid ₹ 40000, 25000 by debit card and 15000 by credit card, after payment I asked them to give me written all the promises. They say they can’t.

                  I asked why, the reasons given were different from promise they made, 1) they said we may get 3 * hotels depending upon availability, as they don’t hotel and booking was from 3 rd party for international travels . A huge setback as I thought I will be getting hotels any time. 2) hotel food were subject to hotel decisions and we may have to pay more than 750-1250, this was not mentioned earlier, they told us that airlines will be @ 30 % discounts but after payment they said it is Upto 30 % not @ 30 %. 4) peak seasons will be charges extra .

                  Then told me that it was told to me earlier but because our music is high you may not heard it clearly, my question is why so high volume music, to cheat customers and say you didn’t listen carefully.

                  I want my full money back, as they package sold to me fake promise or else I want in written all of the points mentioned in paragraph 1.

                  Please reply asap, I read wanted my full money as package was sold to me on fake promises. Attached membership card given to me by your employee from Gurgaon star mall.

                    This is to request 'country holidays inn & suites' to refund my 85000 rupees paid to them on 20th of july, 2019 at holiday inn mayur vihar as they misguided, mislead and framed us to buy there holiday package.

                    1. Misguiding - i was misguided by the sales staff that this package is coming from country inn by carlson group.

                    2. False commitments - (A) all facilities like site seeing, airport or bus depot pick and drop, water sports, spa free of cost, (B) we can anytime rent out our nights if not using to the company and will get 5000 rupee per night from company against the same. (C) 35 nights free holiday package including breakfast and above mentioned all services. (D) anytime access to the gym and fitness clubs of five stars through our membership.

                    3. Misleading - i was told by staff that company owns all country inn properties in india as well as abroad.

                    4. Fraud activity - we were not allowed time to think even after requesting time in personal to discuss, immediately deducted payment first without confirmation of details and terms and conditions information, agreement only came after deducting full payment and sales staff didn't let us read and took sign on specific portion keeping us busy in talking, sales staff didn't let us take papers on which we were briefed about all package and took those papers back saying they need to submit it for their comments reading.

                    After all the agreement we have got is totally one sided which does not have any commitments made to us and only tells you what rights company holds and what all you have to pay more.

                    Agreement is totally void and has been printed in bulk quantity which clearly shows intentions of company.

                    I was framed, misleaded, misguided and mentally forced to buy this package so i don't want to be associated with this anymore and will request company to refund my paid money 85000 as soon as possible.

                        Country holidays inn & suites, noida (Chis) invited me and my wife to lemeridian, gurgaon, on 11th august 2019 to collect gift vouchers. Please see the screenshot of sms for gift vouchers. Accordingly i and my wife with our two daughter visited there at around 8.00 pm to collect the same. When we reached there, ms. Sonali and mr. Deepak ([protected]) they made fool o[censored]s and made so many false commitments. And finally on the basis of their false commitments they convinced us to take 10 years of membership. And we were told by venue manager mr. Deepak ([protected]), that we have to only pay 15, 000 per month to the company but at the time of payment your sales person deepak cheated us and punched 1, 60, 000 from our credit card booked emi for 12 months and requested us to enter the pin. After the pin was entered and during the slip printing, he again smartly cheated and saying that you will definitely get some discount from the bank and gave is the receipt of rs. 172391.27 @ 14% interest from axis bank. On cross questioning, he again fooled us saying that got discount from bank on your card and instead of making 15000 every month to our company, you will have to pay directly to the bank. Their sales person claimed that they have tie up with only 4-5 star hotels in almost all the cities in india and abroad. And they said they have tie up with le meridian, where they called us to collect the coupons but i was shocked to know that after checking with le meridian they confirmed that they don't have any tie up with chis. Later we learnt from reviews from different sites that this company is a big fraud and playing dirty games with so many people. I want my hard earned money back.

                          I was sold a membership at garden's galleria by one of their employee - prince.

                          I was told that they have tie-ups with hotels all around the world and in india and the hotels are hiltons, marriotts and other top hotel chains.

                          When i researched i found that this was a false claim. They hardly have tie-ups with the top hotel chains and certainly not for good tourist destinations. I tried booking a holiday to maldives and found that they have no property listing for maldives (I was specifically told they have it, at the time of selling the membership). I checked for other destinations which were displayed at the time of selling the membership, and found that it was all a lie.

                          I initiated a mail communication for termination of this membership but it has been denied.in response to my mails asking for termination of membership, the standard response was - make a booking with the options listed on the website. Strangely, making false commitments is not a valid reason for cancellation of membership. To my surprise, i was even told that the membership i had was applicable only for domestic travels, whereas at the time of selling the membership, i was told that it covers both national and international travel.

                          Chis is a fraud company that is selling membership to people, making false promises and commitments. They have tie-ups with limited set of hotels and these hotels can be booked using other third party service providers at far cheaper prices.

                          I have received 2 calls from Mr. Rahul from CHIS who claims to be Senior Customer Relations Manager.

                          While I have clearly stated that I want a cancellation of this membership, CHIS is adamant on not being able to cancel it. The only point they have is - you signed the agreement with us.

                          My points:
                          1. Your salesman at the time of selling the membership did not allow me to read the agreement and said that it contained all that was told by him. Had he told me that he was lying all through, rest assured, I would have read that and never signed the document. Besides, you had already swiped my credit card before presenting the agreement and considering how money centric you guys have sounded - I doubt you would have done anything had I raised an issue even then.
                          2. Mr. Rahul agreed that salesman do go overboard and exaggerate things at the time of selling. With all due respect - is this not what I have been saying all this while - that your salesman lied to me at the time of selling the membership. It might be fine from your side that your salesman lie extensively, but from a customer's perspective - this is cheating.
                          3. You want me to take your services and trust you on what you are saying now. Well, I trusted you at the time of purchasing the membership and have realised - you cannot be trusted.
                          4. While going through my bank statements, I realised that even the amount that was quoted by your salesman was wrong. I was told that the total amount including the membership and the EMI interest would come to INR 95000 (membership 85000 + interest 10000). However, the truth is the total cost is more than INR 102000 (membership 85000 + interest 17000+). Makes me wonder if there was any truth in anything that you said that day.

                          In all the conversations, you have said that I shouldn't have signed the agreement and that I made a mistake when I signed the documents. I agree to this - infact, the biggest mistake I did was to go to your office that day.

                          In both the calls Mr. Rahul is trying to force me to mark this complaint as resolved - why? I am not interested in availing your services, which were sold on basis of lies - and this complaint will be closed only when I get back my full refund.

                          P.S.: I finally received the welcome kit after raising this point over the above-mentioned call - in a swift time duration of 45 days. Great service!!

                            One day i got a call from country holiday inn and suits they told me that i am selected in lucky draw and called me in piccadilly, janak puri, delhi. Also promises to give me vouchers for movies, holidays and vibes saloon.

                            Then i went to there place they explained me everything but i dont like there plans and said no to them after knowing the price of package that is more than 3l. Then i asked them to give me voucher after wasting my 1 hr they give me photo copy of voucher and told me to redeem by emailing them on [protected]@countryholidaysinnsuites.com. I sent that voucher on the given email id but i didn't got any response. And they told me to send vibes salloon voucher for 10000rs on email id but didn't send

                            So they have wasted around 4hr of mine in that discussion

                                I am really disappointed and frustrated with the pathetic service from chis. I bought a 10 year membership, which they explained terming as “ownership” after paying a part payment of inr 55000 at dwarka branch on 07 oct, 2018.

                                The whole package sounded good with 7 days domestic/international holiday for couple and my son who was about to turn 18. We (I and my husband) were explained that the stay will cover free breakfast and other two meals on very economical (At least 40-50% discount) cost. We were also given a free holiday voucher for 2 nights and 3 days for three o[censored]s with complimentary breakfast. This was mainly for us to experience the great hospitality chis provides and to decide if we want to continue with the membership. Chis also promised to provide transport for local sightseeing and pickup and drop on a government approved rates that they claimed will be again 40-50% less than the market price. We travel a lot as family and membership package deal as explained by the sales representative sameer and his manager sharukh sounded really good.

                                Our happiness turned into a nightmare when we decided to use the complimentary stay voucher. We had a family wedding in solan (Hp) on 21st june 2019 so we decided to club a family holiday along with it. We applied for the reservation on 4th of june, well advance of the prescribed 15 days timeline in order to make travel arrangements accordingly. There have been series of lapse and delay in responding to our queries from chis due to which we could not take the holiday and returned to delhi after a day stay at solan attending the wedding. Due to this delay there was not enough time for us to look for booking a resort privately.

                                To start with we were told that we cannot use the voucher on saturday/sunday and have to change the dates. They then said that we cannot use the voucher in summer and this is only for off peak period. I tried to explain that at the time of purchasing membership, we were told that once we buy the membership, we will not have the limitation to use the voucher only in the off peak as we will be considered as members and not as guest. Chis completely ignored to acknowledge the fact and added that we will be required to pay the convenience charges of about inr 2500/. We were also asked to pay the extra bedding charge for our son disregarding the promise and commitment they made at the time of selling the membership.

                                They also refused us to give a stay at snow valley resort, which they talked so highly during the presentation and boasted showing feedback from one of their customer on whatsapp who had been to that resort. I don’t think now that the whatsapp profile was of a genuine customer and not of their colleague! We tried to be patient by putting repeated requests; by changing our dates from sat/sun to weekdays; by agreeing to the alternate hotel option provided; by explaining the whole story to a new guy every time we made a call to chis customer care as they never bothered to record or read notes from our previous conversation to understand what we are looking for. We explained that we are running out of time and if they don’t resolve our queries quickly, we will not have enough time to make necessary travel arrangements.

                                During the entire process of booking i felt that they were not reading my mails properly as their answers were so different and outdated to what we have asked for. It was a perfect example o[censored]nprofessional service from chis where they fail to address what we were complaining and slow to react on our queries. It appeared that chis was working on a completely different frequency as they will conveniently ignore our questions and chose to answer a bit they would like to. Most of their responses were visibly cut and paste from different templates. There is nothing wrong to use the templates as long you are addressing the concerns, and at least change the font to make it look uniform. This raises a serious concern on chis team’s ability to accurately understand the language. No wonder why they struggled to respond to simple/regular questions related to booking. Or maybe they are trained to avoid giving straightforward honest response.

                                Finally, i was not left with any other option but to cancel and refund my membership amount. This was the time when chis team started to show their rude side. Until now they were simply unprofessional, incapable but atleast polite in their dealings. From here they started showing their aggressive and “we don't care” attitude. I made several attempts to resolve this cooperatively with chis and requested to escalate as was suggested in the terms and conditions but received no satisfactory response. On reaching out to customer care through phone and chat, i was assured to get a call back soon but as usual it turned out to be fake promise. Eventually, i received a call from rafiq, who claimed to be branch manager for dwarka office. After speaking to rafiq that day i lost all hopes in chis ability to successfully run a professional hospitality business. It was a rollercoaster ride. He started with a very casual approach without understanding the gravity of the situation – aur kya hal chal hai? Kya problem hogai… he never bothered to read my mails before giving me a call and wanted me to narrate the entire situation once again to bring him up to the speed! In order to get to a reasonable conclusion, i once again attempted to narrate the whole experience but he did not let me explain my concerns in full and kept interrupting me in order to counter and dismiss what i have to say. He blamed me that i don’t have any genuine intention to continue with the membership and want to take benefit of the situation and thus behaving difficult. He tried to intimidate me by telling that complaint anywhere (Consumer court/customer care/public forum) will not get me any help and i don’t have any option but to continue. Little later he mellowed down a bit when i told him that we will do rest of the discussion in his dwarka office. He then offered me a completely free 2 night 3 day holiday in addition to the existing complimentary voucher without any convenience; extra bedding or extra charges for my son! He also suggested us to use the gift voucher and then lodge a complaint against the services we received at the hotel and promised that he’ll fight and support our refund request. This is another example of the work practice and ethos this company and his team follows.
                                By now i have realized that chis is not a company with whom i would like to have a long or short term relation. So i politely refused the offer and requested him to process the refund. I have the entire conversation recorded with me and can prove what i have stated above.

                                I am also annoyed that despite my repeated reports of dwarka branch giving false commitment with the customer care team, no action was taken. They conveniently ignored this bit even when this is not difficult at all for them to verify. They can listen to the recording of the call that was made to us to invite to receive the free gift voucher. That would be enough evidence to show the unethical/unfair trade practices followed by sales team. Maybe they are already aware and don’t want to take any action against it. Otherwise, how come despite so many complaints they are still not able to manage this better?
                                I also tried to get chis customer care team’s attention towards my concerns via national consumer helpline but that didn’t changed their attitude. Simply ignoring all my concerns and instead of acknowledging their mistake and take strict action against the culprits, they simply said that they have not denied any services and request me to avail them…!

                                I have spoken to west zone consumer forum and there is free legal assistance/consultation service available for women. They also help you with the lawyer. I am also speaking to local market association to make them aware of this nexus and to not let chis representatives distribute these lucky draw tokens in their area. This also includes the various departmental stores and shopping mall in dwarka. I’ll also approach local mla for the support. I have worked with a diplomatic mission for over 20 years and am very well aware and capable o[censored]sing available resources and contacts for the general public. So far my request was just to refund my money and i want out of this. If chis is going to make me run around to get a desired solution, i’ll definitely demand for compensation for all the harassment and inconvenience. If required, i’ll take help of social media to educate and warn others of the unfair practices adopted by the chis. All i need to provide the link of this site to prospect customers for them to make an informed decision.
                                Chis is a company who does not regard and respect customers, and consumer act set to protect indian consumer’s rights.

                                Chis is denying to give us refund referring to the clause in the terms and condition that “the membership charges is non-refundable under any circumstance”. Below are the reasons in support of our refund request:

                                Unfair trade practice/ right to be informed –
                                1. Reference to https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/ConsumerCourt.pdf - using “no refund under any circumstances” amounts to unfair trade practice and does not carry any legal weight.
                                We did raised this with the sales representative (Sharukh) before signing the agreement but then he referred us to the refund clause given on their website, which says that we can claim refund within the 7 days o[censored]sing first holiday. Please note that we have not taken any holiday as yet.

                                Refund policy
                                In case of any valid point of dissatisfaction, the member can cancel their membership within 7 days of availing their first holiday by writing to us at [protected]@countryholidaysinnsuites.com. Refund will be processed after deducting administration charges, asf and gst. This refund policy will not be applicable for premium business membership.

                                What is valid point of dissatisfaction? Is it not enough that the refund policy mentioned on the website is different than on the contract? This is one of the many examples how chis tries to fool customers.

                                The terms and conditions of vacations agreement is one sided and covers mainly what customer is liable to and does not speak about the commitment chis is accountable for. Please note that chis did not gave me any response of my email asking to clarify the term “service” that chis follow for its customers. I also asked them about the slas (Service level agreement) on dealing with customers queries, which too they didn’t clarify.
                                Please note the point number 17 under the terms and condition that states: “second party understands that this agreement (In the printed form only) supercedes any communication whether written or oral or any variation or hand written remarks rewriting the printed agreement made by the agents and/or representatives of chis or second party to this agreement and/or any other written communication issued by chis representatives (Including on company stamp paper). Further, second party understands that the benefits and terms of the vacations as set out in this agreement are final and binding on chis and second party.”
                                In simple words above means that whatever you have been explained in an hour presentations, and all the queries sales team has answered (Even in written form) does not hold any value! Why do we then go through this process? The entire contract talks about second party only. It does not talk about the responsibility of company to provide accurate information to prospect customers/members and take strict actions against the culprits.
                                Please note the point number 24 under the terms and condition that states: “second party acknowledges that second party has been treated pleasantly and courteously………
                                So basically, this is limited until the contract is signed and there is no consideration given on how customers are treated after that! At least that is how it appears to me in absence of any published service standards.
                                Point number 23 talks about providing only one unit as per eligibility. This is not what was sold to us by the sales representatives. They specifically said that we can bring other family and friends along even to the international holiday as we are not buying just a membership but the ownership and that entitle us to use it the way we wanted.
                                We were also told that chis will provide us travel (Flight and train) tickets on discount at least 20-30% at the time of presentation by sales team. Now we note that this is not reflected on the contract, which means that this is also not valid!

                                2. Sales representatives with the sole intention of selling the membership promised and assured services that were not part of original deal. As per consumer protection law this also amounts to unfair trade practice. For example –
                                A) instead of two kids under the age of 6 as written in the contract, we were promised that will be allowed to take our son who was about to turn 18 with us on holidays without any additional charges.
                                B) we will be allowed to use our free gift voucher during the peak season after my son’s exams are over without any additional charges as we have purchased the membership and thus will be treated like members and will have no restriction o[censored]sing the free gift voucher during the peak season.
                                C) the free gift voucher is provided to us to experience the services and in case we have any concern, we can cancel the membership without any question.
                                D) the property that we requested more than 15 days in advance to our holiday, we were informed is sold out. The strange thing is that when we checked it on trivago website, it was showing available! (This and delay in responding to our queries related to reservation made us feel that chis don’t intend to stay committed to offer a completely free holiday gift voucher.)

                                3. Deficiency in service - i don’t believe that minimum required level of service is been provided to me by chis at different levels. It appears that ‘service” for chis is only limited to the experience customer have at the resort and nothing to do with the experience customer have with the sales/voucher/reservation team to book the holiday.
                                Customer care, reservation team and voucher team repeatedly failed to deal with my queries in timely and accurate manner. I had to chase them several times in vain to get answers to my queries, reservation and package. For example – received no response on:
                                A) what arrangement is there for accompanying driver
                                B) what is the government approved concessional rates for taxis that chis promised to provide at the time of selling the membership.
                                C) what will be the cost of discounted meal package at the resort
                                D) i agreed to change my dates from weekends to weekday as chis had written in their mail that booking cannot be provided on weekends. However, they did not respond to the e mail and then when we had cancelled the office leaves due to no confirmation from chis, just a day before our travel date informed us that they are holding a booking for us.
                                E) queries on convenience charges, extra bedding etc.
                                Chis team conveniently and unprofessionally kept ignoring my queries and answered to only a part what they felt like to.
                                4. I don’t believe that “right to be heard” is adhered here. Ignoring my questions; incomplete responses; unprofessionally ignoring and answering only what chis felt convenient; rude behaviour of mr rafiq (Dwarka branch manager) on the phone demonstrate that i have not given a proper hearing. He did not let me explain my concern in full and kept interrupting me in order to counter and dismiss what i have to say. He blamed me that i don’t have any genuine intention to continue with the membership and thus behaving difficult. He tried to intimidate me by telling that complaint will not get me any help and i don’t have any option but to continue.

                                I quote below some examples of chis’s fake commitments mentioned on their websites.in light of the above examples it is pretty obvious that below mentioned commitments are just statements to trap innocent people into the contract and chis don’t have any intention to deliver these.

There are only 187 properties given on the website under (74 chis associated; 112 chis internal exchange and 1 chis kabeela resort) against over 6500+ resorts at 500+ destinations present all over the globe mentioned above! Please note the difference between destination and properties carefully. Here the number of destinations (500+) is more than actual properties available (187) to members to book! We were also told that chis keep adding more resorts/hotels every now and then!
                                Smooth pickup & drop facilities with nominal charges. What are these nominal charges? Why this is not part of the contract terms and conditions? Commitment on the website like this holds no value as per the point 17 of contract that supersedes all the benefits promised if they are not mentioned on the terms and condition document that you were made to sign using deception.
                                Please help me to get full refund as chis is not able to deliver what they promised and my dealing with them so far has only given stress to me.

                                Rahul from CHIS called couple of days back after reading my complaint on the portal. Despite my mail explaining concerns in detail, I was asked to explain those once again. I honestly don’t understand this complacent attitude. Why can’t they simply answer my concerns point by point from my complaint on the portal to clarify the situation? If my concerns are not true and inaccurate, CHIS has this wonderful opportunity to educate me and others using this podium. Or else they should apologies and swiftly refund the membership amount I have paid. I expect CHIS to give me a timeline to respond to my concerns and not just leave it in a limbo and continue using delay tactic to frustrate customers.

                                Below is the response I have received post my above update. Please note that this is in response to my about 3000 words long complaint asking clarification on various issues I have experienced and noted. I appreciate Rahul acknowledging inconvenience caused to us and putting us under VVIP status though it wasn’t explained what this status mean! This is like that old english song.. “words…words all I have to take your heart away”.

                                More I am interacting with CHIS, my belief of CHIS is a bad investment is becoming stronger and stronger. I hope that my VVIP status might help me to get the answers to the discrepancies I have raised. The best would be to refund my money and honor the promise that I will be allowed to cancel my membership if not satisfied with the services.

                                Below is the mail from CHIS (Rahul) dated 22nd Aug.

                                “As per the discussion with you..we really want to apologise for any inconvenience caused to you so far as you have requested to utilise your vouchers for Shimla location you have been advised by our vouchers team that utility charges and extra bedding would be taken off and as a matter of fact as per agreement the extra bedding applies for 3rd adult as mail has also being sent to you by our customer care team for the same.

                                I assure you that your services would be at par as per the agreement and as I am putting you under VVIP status so you would be considered as our premium member.

                                Request you to kindly do not keep any apprehension in this and we strive to provide you best of all services and amenities under your membership.”

                                Rahul (CHIS), The mail you are referring to is already pasted in my update comments of 23rd August above. But the issue is that your response does not answer the number of concerns I have raised in my initial complaint on the portal. The matter o[censored]sing your services comes only once you clarify the concerns I have raised in my complaint. You keep mentioning about the agreement but completely ignore and choose to stay silent about the misrepresentation of terms and condition by your sales team. The condition about no refund under any circumstances itself is unethical as mentioned by the government consumer forum advice. There are many other such discrepancies I have raised in the complaint, which you are not addressing. If I don’t get the refund and you continue ignoring my concerns, I’ll start educating your prospect customers coming to your centers for the presentation about the hardship I and many other consumers are going through. I hope that will get my message to you with much more clarity, or at least would be able to alert other innocent prospects.

                                CHIS continue to ignore my mail and avoiding to provide a satisfactory response to my complaint and refund the membership fee. I have gone ahead and taken some legal advice from couple of my friends. They are happy to help. If any of the other members like to unite, just drop me a line. I am also looking to organize a peaceful protest outside the Dwarka office to educate visitors visiting to attend and receive the voucher.

                                Mr Rahul (CHIS) called yesterday to ask me to withdraw my complaint from the portal. I politely refused to do so as I am still waiting for a response of all the concerns I have raised in my original complaint. I have once again demanded the refund of full amount I have paid for the membership and cancel the membership.

                                The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (“2019Act”), which recently received the Presidential assent on the 9th August 2019 and was published in the Official Gazette for general information, aspires to safeguard the interests of the consumer by introducing provisions which aim at addressing consumer concerns in a timely and effective manner. In the words of Ram Vilas Paswan, Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, the new legislation would ease the overall process of consumer grievance redressal.

                                1. The 2019 Act also aims to deal with unfair contracts in a comprehensive manner. It provides that a contract between a manufacturer or a seller or a trader and a consumer will come under the purview of an unfair contract if it will, in any manner, undermine the rights of the consumer. It lists down grounds on the basis of which the faireness of a contract can be ascertained. This comes as a notable amendment as it endeavours to base a statutory recognition to the practice the judiciary of striking out unfair terms of a contract in the interest of consumers.

                                2. The Supreme Court in a case held that, “the courts will not enforce and will, when called upon to do so strike down an unfair and unreasonable clause in a contract, entered into between parties who are not equal in bargaining power.”

                                Please note the point number 17 under the terms and condition of the contract (CHIS) given below is an example where consumers are not at a state of holding equal bargaining power -

                                The T&C of contract point number 17 states: “SECOND PARTY understands that this Agreement (in the printed form ONLY) SUPERCEDES any communication whether written or oral or any variation or hand written remarks rewriting the printed Agreement made by the Agents and/or representatives of CHIS or SECOND PARTY to this Agreement and/or any other written communication issued by CHIS representatives (including on Company STAMP PAPER).                                 During my last conversation, Rahul (CHIS Manager), assured that he will very soon give me a response addressing all the concerns I have raised. It’s been over a month and he has gone completely silent, and my concerns are not addressed yet. You cannot trust this company and staff working in it. The company does not hold integrity. I am spreading awareness through whatsapp in my circle of friends and would suggest others to do the same. It is important that we continue to alert others to not fall in the trap set by CHIS making fake promises, which they never intend to deliver.

                                No response from CHIS yet. Initially they called and were keen for me to mark complaint "resolved" and promised that will send me a written reply to address all my concerns. Please note that trusting to the promises made by CHIS is a big mistake. This is evident from so many other complaints and experiences o[censored]nsatisfied customers available of this portal. Also, don't believe to any verbal commitment as they don't regard and respect that. Don't settle for anything less than a written confirmation. However, a written commitment too is not a guarantee that it will be fulfilled. CHIS clearly is not honest in their dealings and simply disregard the refund assurance given on their website.
                                So the advice is that don't get into this trap of buying CHIS product, but if you are already their then don't lose patience, just keep pressing for your claim and refund. CHIS will eventually understand the power of verbal feedback shared by client and the impact it has on their business!

CHIS Sale representative made false and fake promises at the time of membership, but just after payment they denied for the same, they told us they will mail me all verbal promises in written. But as they are trained to do the same, their seniors are supporting them. i mailed them so many times to cancel my membership and for full refund. but they are replying manipulatively.

                                They became rude. They lectured me for 90 minutes - I schooled them for 15. Collected my fake complimentary vouchers and left.

                                  Country holiday inn and suits commitments so many offers. But this is totally fraud. We took membership 1 lac for 10 years with offer of 4n/5d goa trip with flight tickets to and fro for we family members. But after taking amount they denied for this offer.
                                  Second annual maintenance charges amc not declared during explanation. Used very high sound speakers to distract and very clever representatives. With in few minutes they taken sign on stamp duty with very small terms and conditions. Be careful.

                                  We requested so many times from day one by phone and email to take this membership back. But they attached matter and escaped.

                                  Totally fraud.

                                  Country holiday inn and suits didn't take and confirmed any action against its froud making employees who made false commitment also not provide any commited offer during membership joining. But now as a solution they reduced plan from 10 years to 5 years and settled this amount in annual maintenance changes and assured us to use 30 nights in 5 year ( 6 per year) without annual maintenance and without any tax. Any way we are in loss but this is better then nothing.

                                    Fraud chis. I got a call from chis in which they told me that they are just calling for providing vouchers not for a membership. When i visited there a person named ashish has made false commitments and told me that they are from country inn group which they are not i asked him to provide me terms and conditions which he denied and said there are not any he promised that they have tie ups with marriot and hyatt everywhere in the world and also promised that they will give rci and dae membership complementary and took a payment of 1, 40, 000 from me next day there customer care called ne for the membership registration and denied that they will bot provide rci and dae membership and told me they are nit from country inn group so i asked to cancel the membership and mr gaurav chaudhry tried to convince me with false promises again to which i denied i got an email from the company on 23 july company send me an email an promised that they will refund my amount after deducting 2.5% in 10-15 working days which i still didn't receive d and when i ask them the status from 4 august they are saying there signing authority is bot available. I called mr. Gaurav chaudhry on 13 aug and he informed me that there signing authority is already back few days back but still i didn't received my refund and now mr. Gaurav chaudhry is not receiving my call.

                                    Hi vishal.sidhwani, This is sanj21. I am also a victim o[censored]nethical business practices of CHIS like you. Please go through my complaint if you wish to, to make yourself more aware of the misrepresentations and deficiency in service by CHIS. Don't fall for the sweet talk and promises by CHIS to change your decision of cancelling the membership. My experience with CHIS so far is that there is a lack in their intent to deliver a quality service and they are not adequately equipped either.

                                      Want to return my money back...

                                      Myself deepak sharma & anju sharma (Wife) has purchased country holiday inn & suites membership chisbh773927 in 80000/-. 31-mar-2018.
                                      We have paid all amounts during inception by mutually agreed terms & condition that we can utilize all 6 nights with 6 family /1night each.

                                      It's totally failure of commitment by chis representative.
                                      I have taken this membership for entertaining & refreshing in holidays but the scene is reverse as i totally depressed by calling /following the chis team members for justice from last 15 days.
                                      Still no resolution against this.

                                      Mr. Nadeem was sales executive for this deal and fake commitments.

                                      Till today we have not taken any single membership night.

                                      1. Now, the company is regularly decline for book more than 1 room at one time.

                                      2. Non-availability of rooms on desired date

                                      3. I am struggling for room booking since inception of my membership.
                                      One year is going to complete & i haven't not used even single membership night due to non availability of rooms for my family.

                                      4. Barrier of booking at peak time - its totally commitment failure from chis side because it was clearly told by your representative that there is no limit for peak on/off time in chis membership.

                                      5. Denying for complimentary breakfast.

                                      Totally fake company and making fake communication for selling their products.

                                      Chis is running big scam and we all are victims of their fraud, lets join hands and together we can fight the legal battel against chis to bring their promoters to justice and get our hard earned money back

                                      I request you to please return my membership fees i[censored] r not able to fulfill ur commitment., i will be very thankful to you for your fake commitment due to which i will be no more with chis.

                                      we have paid all amount to Country Holidays including yearly maintenance of 8.5K. As a service provider, we have not received any kind of help from them. No body want from them is giving service. all information is always vary by customer executive wise.

                                      all fake commitments done by Country Holidays INN.

                                      my suggestion for all, due to bad experience and poor response - Please don't consider Country Holidays inn as a travel agent for their holidays. don't waste your valuable money with Country Holidays

                                      Everytime CHIS told us to remove the reviews but when we removed / resolved the reviews then, denied to book the rooms.
                                      Need to take hard actions against them.

                                        I am a member of country holidays inn & suites and my membership no. Is chisph772322, which i took in the year 2017 for 10 years by providing my whole family details (At that time my kids are aged 11 and 6 respectively). While taking the membership, i was promised that i will be provided a family suite which can accommodate my whole family (Myself, spouse and 2 kids). When i received the membership details, it was informed in the document that i am allowed to have a room with 2 adults + 2 kids of less than 6 years old. As the conditions specified in the membership card are different from what promised to me, i called mr. Deepak (The one who sold me this membership to me in panchkula), he informed me that they will provide an extra bed for my kid who is more than 6 years old. But every time i am writing more than 20 to 30 emails to get the room confirmed. I don't understand that why these people are not understanding a simple logic that my kids will never remain 6 years old for the next 10 years and the information provided by them at the time of issuing a membership has no meaning when they promised that they will provide a family room for my family without any conditions. Obviously for the next remaining 8 years my kids are dependent on me and so they will travel with me on my holiday trips (And obviously their age will also change). It is becoming a big headache for me every year whenever i am planning a holiday with country holidays inn and suites as the booking is not simple and hassle free.
                                        I completely regret my decision of becoming a member of country holidays inn & suites. I appreciate if you can resolve the issue for once and all.

                                        After numerous calls CHIS agreed with the following modification to my membership: This is to suffuse you that after degradation of your membership from 10 years to 5 years & upgradation of your membership category from T-1 to T-2 the 5 years membership is only valid for Domestic holidays and in T-2 category the entitled of membership will be to 4 Adults & 2 kids below 6 years at the same time 5th adult can be accommodated in the same room with extra bedding charges applicable which is at present 1000+GST and the AMC will be applicable over 6N/7D will be 10, 500+GST. Point NO. 22 is eligible for T-1 category members in T-2 category 2 (Standard ) rooms will be provided. The membership of yours is valid till 5 years from the date of the joining in the same time frame the membership nights & bonus weeks need to be used no extension will be provided. As the membership is valid for 5 years in the same only Domestic holidays can be provided in listed properties also we try to provide the booking through our corporate portal too if the availabilities are not there in tie-up properties to avoid any fuss to our privileged member's As we have already discussed that's and standard agreement for all of our member's that is why in the agreement it is not mentioned that you are eligible to use 4 weeks as per (6N/7D)+2 Bonus weeks(6N/7D)+1 nights from your pending week. the membership is valid for 5 years from the date of joining in the given time frame we would request you to please use your holidays to avoid any impediment. Even though I am not completely satisfied with this arrangement, I do not want to waste my time further in this case. So I compromised with what CHIS promised. Hope they will provide service without troubling further.
