Hi,

I have filled one coupon at some mall in noida, a year back where the person told me that ‘country inn’ has opened new hotels at few locations including shimla, jaipur, goa etc. And they will provide you 2 nights/3 days stay at their new hotels if your names comes in lucky draw.

Almost one year back i was constantly receive a call from a girl she was telling her name pooja informing that i won the lucky draw for free vacation along with pvr voucher. I was not willing to go as i don’t trust in these offers, so i denied. But she kept on convincing me that i just have to visit the garden galleria mall with my wife for collecting the freebies. I finally said okay, i will come. They sent me a text message from pooja –
(Welcome country holidays inn & suites india pvt. Ltd.

"congrats!
Mr. And mrs. Today both are invited to collect your gift vouchers your 1st voucher is 1 couple movie tickets 2nd voucher 2night & 3day holiday voucher collect your voucher at for all details.. Plz take a 45 minutes
Venue address: hotel golf view, 14/1, opp. Botanical garden metro station, sector 37 201303 noida india

When me n my husband visited the given venue then gaurav, feroz and 2 other person tried to convenience me to bu a holiday package by doing lots of false commitment like:

We have 5000+ hotels in india
We have hotels in around 30 other countries
You will not get any issue while booking hotels at any time including 25 dec to 5 jan if you informed us in advance.
We have at-least 7-8 options in each cities.
Each option is a 4-5 start properties
You will save at-least 50-70% on each stay. Etc...
You will get a free 3n 4d to a flight, loading and food covered any where in india, (Which they wrote in the paper but never mentioned it in our membership details)
But when i come back and search about your companies review i found lots of complaint about your company, peoples are saying that most of the time all good options are showing sold out even if we are trying to book in advance.

On your website:
Only 67 hotels at 35 locations are listed under chis-associated category
Only 50 hotels in 12 countries are listed on chis-internal-exchange page (Excluding domestic hotels)
Only 117 all hotels are available on both pages
You are providing only room only package i have to pay extra for breakfast and dinner but when i am booking directly with b/d i am getting better options.
I paid 1, 40, 000 for 10 weeks holiday so it cost 22, 500 per week (14, 000 + 8500 ams) for room only package but for the listed hotels i can get same 6 night package with b/d around 30-32 k and i have no limitation for listing hotels.
It was not conveyed that i have to pay annual maintenance from 1st year as well.

On above complaint i received below reply from country holiday inn (Chis) that"we regret to inform you that the cancellation cannot be processed against the specified reason, the membership is non-refundable as per agreement which is mutually signed as there is no valid justification in the reason being provided."

According to country holiday inn (Chis), this is marketing strategy to do false commitment to sell the membership and it is not a valid reason to cancel membership.

As per indian laws, including indian contract act, 1872. This is a void agreement which can’t be enforceable as it is one sided agreement which doesn’t gives me any right to cancel.

I have requested very next day after buying this membership to cancel this request but still they did not refund my amount saying that now it can't be refund. I chased them many times but they always cut my call. I saw in this forum that they did the same thing with another customer but the customer received their money back from chis. This gave me a ray of hope. I seriously urge from the company to pay back my hard earned money as i am sure i will never use any of their vacation plan for the next 9 years. Their sales representatives are a big time fraud. I urge if not 100% at-least pay back 70 % of my amount.

They are cheater and they will not worry about our money. They have done the same with me and I have not even used their coupon because soon after their welcome call, I realized they are fraud.

They are now not responding. Please start sharing comments on social medial like facebook, twitter, Linkedin so that we can expose them and no more people can face similar problem.

    Dear team,
    I have been a member for country holiday inn and suits from 2018, there website lists good 4 star and 5 star properties, unfortunately whenever i enquire for a booking for there listed properties even a month in advance i failed to stay in chis listed property options, i have traveled three times with chis and i have always been provided with a three start property options, wherever i fight for some good options i receive an apology mail from chis, i have spent more than 1.5 lakh for 10 year membership and now i am struck with it, please find me some way to get the refund back as the services provided by there team is not valuable based on the commitment given at the time of booking.

      I have already complained twice on this website but in vain. These fraud people are least bothered as now they have achieved their target by fooling one more customer and taking the full payment in advance. When my wife tried to book a hotel in our city itself, the chis staff firstly gave lame excuses like no availability on the required dates or email is not proper, kindly send it again, and when we changed our dates according to them and re-send the mail in the way they wanted, they were left with no other excuse, so they told me a new thing that my membership has been blocked as i have complained about their fake committments and false promises. And moreover rehaan shahrukh, rahul arora and a lady whose name i don't remember challanged my wife that do what you want to do, nothing can be done now and you have no other way left except compromising with us and taking your complaint back. What kind of dictatorship is this. If we have trusted and given them our hard earned money, doesn't means they can talk to us like this. Won't spare them.

        I enrolled for CHIS membership in June 2019 by paying Rs. 95, 000/-. I was also supposed to pay AMC of Rs. 7000/- + GST annually.

        At the outset, I would like to place on record the misleading advertisements /lies told to me while I was called for the presentation to for CHIS membership. They ensured that they have very good (at least 4*) properties across popular tourist destinations in India.

        In November, I wanted to travel to Andamans with my family. However, I was surprised to know that CHIS didn't have a property there. Due to this, I had to change my plan to Goa.

        In Goa, I wanted to stay near Calangute beach for three nights and four days. I requested, well in advance, for a booking in Lemon Tree Hotel. However, it was shown as 'sold out' . However, I was still able to book the same hotel via MMT, Yatra, GoIbibo etc. I wonder how many rooms CHIS booked in Lemon Tree Hotel for it's clients during the period I requested! If the need arises, I am sure CHIS will have to tell this in Consumer Court. Otherwise, i think they have put the photos of Lemon Tree Hotel just for the sake of it!

        Thereafter I requested for any other hotel in or around Calangute Beach. (I had seen one Acacia Resort at Calangute on CHIS website/app). They told me that they do not have any other property near calangute beach. I was surprised at this!

        They then offered me IVY Anjuna, which i found not to be up to the mark. They then offered 'I love Bell Bottoms', which I did not like but i consented for it as i had to book air-tickets as well and it was getting delayed resulting in hike in fare prices.

        However, to my dismay and surprise again, CHIS offered me booking for two nights only (whereas I had requested for three nights), that too with payment of breakfast charges on me!!!

        Now this made me question myself that if i have to pay Rs. 95, 000/- as advance fee, AMC charges of Rs. 7000/- plus, and then i have to compromise with a sub-standard (not 4* hotel, as promised during presentation), then what is the use of CHIS membership?

        However, as the time was running out, I booked my hotel (a resort on Calangute beach) and air-tickets myself, at a very good price!!

        All this correspondence has been exchanged over emails. I was in touch with Mr. Negi, Take-over Manager over phone (the one who sold me the package). In the end Mr. Negi told me that "sir hamara kaam sirf sales ka hai, uske baad aapko apne aap customer care se baat krni padegi'!!

        CHIS didn't provide the services they promised, and their unprofessional attitude also didn't help!

        I therefore requested for withdrawal of membership and refund of my money. However, they have bluntly said no as per their so called 'agreement. Whereas on their website they say, and I quote,

        "In case of any valid point of dissatisfaction, The member can cancel their membership within 7 days of availing their first holiday by writing to us at [protected]@countryholidaysinnsuites.com. Refund will be processed after deducting administration charges, ASF and GST. This refund policy will not be applicable for premium business membership."

        I think i now have to seek justice at Consumer Courts! Is there any other way to get my funds back?

          We have taken membership from country inn on[protected], membership fees rs. 89000 and tenure 5 years.

          During my first call at their customer care, chis call it as welcome call, i found many new rules. Like limit on usage of nights per year, even we can't take 6 nights continuous, their should be a break of one month in between. I was very confused that why would one take 5 years long membership if they don't have flexibility.

          Now, i have searched social media and found so many false promises complaints from chis. After carefully viewing so many complaints against country inn, now i have realized that i have done a big mistake taking their membership few weeks before below are the details.

          Request country inn to initiate my refund, i have not started utilizing any of their service.

          Hi All

          Today I received a call from Country Inn office, I have told them my issues regarding limits in consuming nights/ days. During our discussion, she updated me that if we consume more than 6N/7N then first of all we need to pay double AMC i.e. 14k+GST. Also, in case we use let's say 8N/9D then our deduction would be 14 days from our membership which is really weird.

          This is really false commitment, we cannot consume our membership properly and then they have started putting extra charges / new rules. They are now asking me to look into the signed documents and denying for refund.

          Request Country Inn to consider it and move me out from this membership in a smoother manner.

          If my initial relationship has turned out bitter, how can I think of long term relationship.

          I recommend not to take the membership from Country Inn, their service is pathetic. Once they take the money then they don't care about their customers.

          I had a discussion with their team multiple times but they don't care. I will now take this matter to other social media to expose them. I was trying to avoid this but seems Country Inn is not interested about their branding.

          They have the pathetic way to deal with the customer specially in membership part. I have initiated complaints against them at various platform like social media, government complaints, also if they listen will goto consumer court as well. Their one sided agreement of non-refundable fee is not justified. I will also initiated an email about this practice to their business group and partners as well.

          Really a bad name on hospitality industry.

          They are the worst company in hospitality business. No response from their representative. They talked once to me and simply said we cannot refund, they are forcing us to continue Country Holiday Inn membership. They have cheated public by putting wrong promises and enjoying money.

          Shame on such company, I have already started communicating about their membership policy to media and other institution. Let's start exposing them on public/ social media like Facebook, Twitter, Linked and any other so that no other person will get abused by their faulty policy.

            Hello,
            My name is nikhil jain residentof bhopal, madhya pradesh.
            I took the chis membership this year for 5 years.
            At the time of booking they told me that they will provide us 4-5 star properties if i request the bookings atleast 15days prior.

            I requested them for the booking 4 days ago for 7th-17th december 2019 which is 1month prior.

            We were expecting the properties which are mentioned on their website in agra & chandigarh but they denied & said the properties already full.
            When we agreed for the low grade properties suggested by them & asked them to alteast add the complimentary breakfast as a mark of courtesy they denied that as well.
            They response rate is very poor, whenever we call them their executives seems to be busy & the sales people who sold us the membership are also not responding.

            At the time of selling the membership they made a lot of commitments & now at the time of booking we came to know that all their promises were fake.

            If these people are not able to resolve our issue we suggest them to refund all our amount we paid them at the time of purchasing the membership.

              Sir,
              We have invited to take holiday services for 5 year for Rs. 100000/- and asked to pay Rs. 40000/- for first instalment after which they are going to give 2 week’s services with some complimentary services to check their service as we open some bad reviews of their services in front of the company. Company also informed me that at any stage if i am unsatisfied then they will refund my money. We paid accordingly but they are not giving me any services and each and every services in my id are blocked. Further no any agreement copy is provided to us which they informed till date.
              Company staff also informed me if i dont want to use their services then they will refund my money. I emailed the company that open your services what you promised at the time of booking but they directly refused and asking for remaining amount. after that i again emailed clearly mentioned that i just want money back and don’t want to continue with you as they are cheating. I am suffering due to this block money. Company neither gave any services when required nor refunded my money. I am feeling totaly cheated. Please take necessary action against the company.

                Sir,
                This is last time i am informing you about fraud done by your employee to us. No response is there not at all. This is very shameful that even your helpline members are saying we cant do anything.. This way you are earning money by cheating us. Now i will put this on social media. Nothing is done in last 2 month our 1.5 lk is totally wasted.. Your employee kurshid ahmed will be sue in court for giving us wrong details.

                  I have taken 10years membership of chis 1 year back and paid rs 180000 for membership for my family of 2adults and one child. I was told that membership entitles 2adults and 2child or 3adults for 6nights stay per year at their 5*hotels free of cost and i have to pay annual maintainable every year and they have offered some complimentary stay also.
                  In the first year when i applied they demanded that i have to compensary take breakfast at the hotel and pay rs 1500/- per day for the same. From 2nd year in addition to compensary breakfast they are also demanding money for extra bed (Rs1000/- per day), even if you don't need extra bed
                  As far as other offers/freebies, they won't let you take it on one or other pretext and make you literally feel like a beggar and for every booking you need to persue the matter for 10 days and loose your shanti
                  The cost for 6 days booking for 2 adults and 1 child will be
                  1) emi for the amount of rs180000 paid, calculated at 8 percent interest-rs25000/-
                  2) annual maintenance rs 7000/-+gst
                  3) compulsory breakfast cost for 6 days - rs500x3x6=9000/-+gst
                  4) extra bed - rs1000x6=6000/-+gst

                  Total cost for 6days-rs 47000/-+gst
                  Total per day hotel cost - rs 7800+gst

                  Most of the hotel's of chis are 3 or 4star and cost less than rs 5000/-, except few hotel's of delhi and ncr
                  Therefore think twice before taking the membership as you will definately loose your peace for no benefit and so don't get trapped in false promises

                    What is the point of buying membership when I cant get a booking??
                    Bookings and holidays are planned during vacation time only.
                    Also, I had booked my air tickets in August and soon after booking the airtickets, I sent a message to CHIS for hotel booking and I was asked to send a message in November.
                    Now, CHIS tells me that the booking can not be made due to peak season. Vacation period is peak season only as all plan their holidays then and the demand is high. That was the reason I asked for a booking of December in August in order to avoid any last moment unavailability issue. BUT IM FACING THIS PROBLEM.
                    This is very unethical and unacceptable.
                    If CHIS would have informed me earlier, I could have booked a hotel myself at reasonable prices which I am not able to do since the tariffs have increased and in many properties whose price seems fine are sold out.
                    I have many email correspondence with Mr. Gurtej and Mr. Abhay regarding the same but the response and service I received from a company belonging to service industry is just too pathetic.
                    I look forward yo seeking a solution and better services.

                      Yes this is a fake company and as mentioned before in the other complaint they promise so many thing in verbal but in written you get totally different and yes mr ajit is the best in manipulating at rajauri garden branch. Please do not take the membership or visit there office if you receive message for coupons and holiday gift they will sale you the membership and if you are not satisfied they will keep denying to refund the money and will keep you posting to take the service and will talk totally different over the phone as its a verbal communication bt the written you will get is totally different. They will response only when you will ask for the refund untill then keep trying no response from then. Even i am the victim of there fraud promise and have put the dispute with my bank. Thought its mentioned in there refund policy page they will keep saying that its not a valid reason to refund you the money and we never denied the services they are into this cleaver business for so long and they know how to fool people. I am also going to consumer court with all the proof to fail a legal complaint against this company. Don't trust mr rahul arora he will ask you to mark the complaint as resolved and then will not going to revert.

                        I had complained about the misrepresentaion of categories of the hotels on 1st oct 2019, but it was of no use, rather the chis staff namely rehaan, shahrukh and some rahul arora started blackmailing us when we asked them for booking a hotel for one night. They told us to withdraw the complaint from the consumer complaint website, in order to get the booking. They also told us that our membership has been blocked and it will only be unblocked if i mention the word resolved under my complaint. I am planning to sue them in consumer court very soon because my hard earned money is not meant to be wasted on such fraudsters.

                          While going for booking,
                          1. Chis team pressurizing for accept their unnecessary conditions / policies which are not declared while signed the agreement.

                          When we have denied, they said that - they can't proceed for booking. Mail screen shot attached

                          2. Presurrizing for remove these complaints before request for bookings on mails and whats app. Screen shot attached.

                          3. Since starting with chis, we’re suffering lots while going for bookings, why we'll wait for our bookings when we've paid money to them in advance, chis is taking 5-6 months for booking. Mail screen shot attached.

                          Why we'll always follow their terms, is there anyone who can help us from this matter?

                          Chis team is making their salaries by doing frauds with their customers.

                          Chis sales team - selling products by wrong commitments (Mr. Nadeem was our sales representative)

                          Chis reservation team - never accepting bookings on time and asking for accept their unwanted conditions (Mr. Ananad debey is booking representative)

                          Pls. Block this company as a fraud. Because we don't want that this situation will repeat again with others, money waste, time waste and totally mentally harassment.

                          If something will be happen bad, all responsibility will be in chis account.

                          You are not providing the service against which i have paid to you.
                          Can you tell me how many times i have dropped the request & how many times you fulfilled it.
                          Since feb'18 my purchasing date you haven't booked a single request for which i have paid instead of free nights.
                          Not only money but i have wasted a lot of times in follow up with your team, results zero.
                          Again i have requested 2 times from 25.02.2021 but you are unable to provide me the rooms.

                          If you have scarcity of the rooms then, why are you selling your plan to customer.

                          Request you to please refund my money as soon as possible.

                            Dear sir/mam,

                            This company is doing fraud in an organized manner. Here i will narrate how i am trapped and cheated.

                            This company looks for targets at mall and petrol pumps etc, just to confirm ones' income group.

                            Like others, i was once in mall with my wife, there a person asked me to fill a form. Then later after that day, i got a call saying congratulations sir you are our lucky volunteer, please collect your free hotel stay and movie voucher. I asked them, i have very busy schedule, can i you handover it to my peon or so. Then they said, sir! Only you along with your wife can collect the voucher. When i along with my wife reached at their venue in greater noida, they asked to wait for presentation first (Misleading).
                            Mr. Ajay from chis attended us at gr noida and first he asked whether purchasing of anything lies with you or your guardian's permission is needed. Then, he started presenting the packages of hotel stay. First, i was not listening to them, only thing i need was free voucher. But they have tactics to involve the persons, and i got hallucinate and started participate with him. As and when i enquired, his boss just two meter away at other chair comes to us and explains the doubts. They made all the wrong promises, said things which were not there in their terms and conditions agreement. They told me everything that their commitment is mentioned on their site and in agreement also and rest of the points they will mail to us [false]. Which is again a wrong commitment and misrepresentation.

                            (1.) they told us that they will provide us 5 star hotels and resorts. Now they are saying 4 star 97% and only few 5 star 3% hotels will be in options.
                            (2.) 70 days in 10 year with including complementary breakfast. (Which is 100%) sure. I have to pay for lunch or dinner if i take and they will provide 30% discount on food bill.
                            But customer care person told me breakfast would be chargeable.
                            (3.) they said we have properties around 600 of them that we owe which is again not true. They said that we have to pay amc (Annual maintenance charge) rs 7000+ gst.
                            (4) package offered to me -room type 1bhk for t1.

                            Package amount was 1.4 lac i made payment of 50000 (Paymnt date 6 oct 2019 from ac-[protected] sbi) rs and rest was to paid in instalments but that moment they offered me additional air voucher of worth rs16000 (White lie) if i makes the half the amount of package. Then i made another payment of rs 20000 (Paymt date 6 oct 2018 from account [protected] sbi) to make it half payment. But this offer was verbal not on agreement. Hence, i didn't get the same

                            There is message at their website saying you can use our mobile app for easy booking (Misinformation/misleading). I checked their app for booking, and i found no property available for the desired period. I wrote the email for the same but they didn't accept my analogy.

                            I lost faith in this company and writing email to cancel the membership but they are nt getting agreed and simple bound me to use their services.

                            In such circumstances i request you to cancel my membership and arrange to refund our amount of rs. 70, 000/-, since we have lost faith in the company and don’t want to continue with the membership.
                            Since i haven't used their services and as per there verbal commitments i want my hard earned money back.

                              I have filled one coupon at shoppers stop mgf gurgaon, a months ago where the person told me that ‘country inn’ has opened new hotels at few locations including shimla, jaipur, goa etc. And they will provide you 2 nights/3 days stay at their new hotels if your names comes in lucky draw.

                              From few last weeks i was receiving calls from a girl she was telling her name pooja informing that i won the lucky draw for free vacation along with pvr voucher. I was not willing to go as i don’t trust in these offers, so i denied. But she kept on convincing me that i just have to visit the picaardily hotel janak puri west with my fiance for collecting the freebies. I finally said okay, i will come.

                              They sent me a text message from pooja –

                              Mr. And mrs. Today both are invited to collect your gift vouchers your 1st voucher is 1 couple pvr movie tickets 2nd voucher 2night & 3day holiday 3rd voucher 10000 to 15000 vibes salon 4th voucher rs 10000 yearly discount in international holiday voucher collect your voucher at for all details.. Plz take a 45 minutes

                              Yesterday october 20th when i visited given venue then ashish and 1 other person tried to convenience me to buy a holiday package by doing lots of false commitment like:

                              We have 5000+ hotels in india
                              We have hotels in around 30 other countries
                              You will not get any issue while booking restaurants at any time including 25 dec to 5 jan if you informed us in advance.
                              We have at-least 7-8 options in each cities.
                              Each option is a 4-5 start properties
                              You will save at-least 50-70% on each stay. Etc...
                              You can made on any dau of month.

                              But when i come back and search about your companies review i found lots of complaint about your company, peoples are saying that most of the time all good options are showing sold out even if we are trying to book in advance.

                              On your website:
                              International hotels are very less as compared as i was told

                              You are providing only room only package i have to pay extra for breakfast and dinner but when i am booking directly with b/d i am getting better options.
                              I have paid 40, 000 for 2 weeks holiday so it cost 28260 per week (20, 000 + 8260 ams) for room only package but for the listed hotels i can get same 6 night package with b/d with less and i have no limitation for listing hotels.
                              I was told that voucher can be used in any month but when i am checking those vouchers it says i can use them in between feb - sep only.
                              They gave me complementary flight voucher which are not valid on your website.
                              In forms they have mention 2010 instead of 2019.
                              In stamp paper they have not fill up any date & package amount description.

                              Is this the way of chis to promote? These are the values of company by cheating & giving false promises.

                              I want the amount to be refunded asap. Other wise i have to take legal action.

                              Issue Still Not Resolved

                              After waste of my time on Phone they are still not able to resolve the query & they are not ready to accept anything which was promised by there Sales Executives. I don`t understand why these kind of promotions can`t be done under recorded medium where all the features told to the customers are recorded which can be verified later as well if any customer complaints & if there sales representatives have made any fake promises so they can take actions.

                              They made so much fake verbal commitments at the promotion & now they are not ready to accept anything.
                              At the time of promotion activity Ashish was the Sales Representative & Rickender was his manager. Ashish explained me complete memebership. Intially they told me the memebership cost is 2, 29, 000 for 10 Years. plus I have to pay 7000 + GST (AMC charges) Per Year for 6N/7D for domestic or international holidays. And they gave me certain complimentary with the package.
                              1. 2N/3D stay with breakfast. I have to choose between 6 locations which they have mention on the voucher.
                              2. 1 Night stay in ITC / Rosatte or similar as per my request from the list of hotels with breakfast & dinner.
                              3. One couple Book my show Coupon.
                              4. 2 weeks bonus stay.

                              They told me different payment modes. But I denied but ashish was trying to negotiate again & again.
                              At last he gave me Final offer. I have to pay 40, 000 including tax & interest (24 EMI of 1666) for 2 years & if i like the service i can extend it to 10 years. And after 2 years if I like to extend it than i have to pay 1, 30, 000 .In this mode they were giving me certain services.
                              Membership Services
                              1. 6N/7D Stay in domestic/international (In total 2 Weeks which i have to use in two years)where i don`t have to pay anything for stay with 7000 + GST. (AMC)
                              2. Not sure about amount but i think it was 799 or 999 for buffet food per person.
                              3. Certain discounts on cab & gym (Which I don`t remember).
                              Complimentary Benefit
                              1. 2N/3D stay with breakfast. I have to choose between 6 locations which they have mention on the voucher.
                              2. 1 Night stay in ITC / Rosatte or similar as per my request from the list of hotels with breakfast & dinner.
                              3. One couple Book my show Coupon for every month for 1 year.

                              So I was Ok with these features. When I bought this for 40, 000
                              They said that there technical team will call me to generate user id & password. And with that they gave me a smaill gift box And the gift voucher of shoppers stop & flight voucher for 1 month. Plus the vouchers which I won.
                              2 couple book my show vouchers
                              2 vouchers for 2N/3D stay
                              1 15000 voucher for vibes salon( but expired date was 31 oct`19 on voucher but when i ask ashish about it he said you can use it after 1 month as well)
                              10000 yearly discount in international holidays.

                              But when I came back at home I enquire about the EMI for this 40, 000 with my bank they told me that I have to pay 40, 000 plus 15% interest. I tried to contact there team to know about it but no one was available. Next Day eveining when I didn`t receive any response i thought this is some thing fishy Then I raised this complained. And after that I received the call from Miss Jyoti & she forwarded this case to sales team. And then Ashish called me & I have explained him about it. So he was ready to refund the amount of Interest. But the way he was to talking was not acceptable. Irritating On Call & disconnecting the call again & again in between discussion.
                              Then I call Jyoti again & informed her about situation. She told me that she will handle the situation & she will call me back after getting all information from sales team.

                              After few days she called me & the services which she informed were completely different.She said there is nothing like 2 years membership thing. Here I have 40, 000 plus 15% Intt. which is converted into 24 EMI. Under which I will get only two benefits
                              1. 1 Night stay in ITC / Rosatte or similar as per my request from the list of hotels with breakfast & dinner.
                              2. 6N/7D Stay in domestic/international (In total 2 Weeks which i have to use in two years)where i don`t have to pay anything for stay with 7000 + GST. (AMC)

                              After that if I liked the services than i have to process the remaining payment & then I will get all complimentary & Membership services which i have mentioned before.As per the latest E-mail which they have sent after discussing with there management they offered this resolution.

                              I have Paid 40000 & i have to pay 15% interest (distributed in 24 EMI) around 47, 000 & 7000+GST per 6N/7D
                              (twice) under which i only get

                              1. 1 Night stay in ITC / Rosatte or similar as per my request from the list of hotels with breakfast & dinner.
                              2. 6N/7D Stay in domestic/international (In total 2 Weeks which i have to use in two years)where i don`t have to pay anything for stay with 7000 + GST. (AMC)

                              Then I replied to that E-mail that i want to talk from one of the senior manager than they replied that
                              "This is to notify you that the possible resolution is already been provided to you at our end, however, if the same is not been agreed at your part the cancellation can be processed with due deduction of 15, 000/-."

                              Is this is the way of providing the service. Means they have the document where they have not mentioned the complete services & the Sales Reps are making fool of customers. I was checking other complaints & found that most of the complaints are related with same membership issues where fake promises were made.

                              Now why company is not taking any actions on there sales team so such instance can`t be repeated.
                              CHIS is a very Big brand in the market & i am shocked that they have hired such kind of employees to promote there membership where there sales executives are making fake promises.

                              I was not expecting these kind of fake promises & the customer support which you have gave. And After the fault your staff is not accepting there fault & not ready to refund my complete amount.

                              I request from Consumer Forum to interven & assist.

                                My registered membership no. Chissrk776866 by the name of poonam sugandh
                                As i was sold membership on 9th apr'19 on the basis of wrong commitment by chis sales person that vacation package will be for an amount of rs. 1, 40, 000/-. That the package will be for 15 weeks i. E. 7 nights and 6 days a week. It is submitted that you assured that properties provided by you the notice shall not be below 4 or 5 star hotels. Sales person committed that package will be for 2 adults and 2 children (Your family member (You, your wife, both daughter are covered for one room without extra bad charges till 12 years of age, you will get additional sofa cum bad in every properties free of cost (Inclusive in the same package) whereby sales person further assured that any family friend/ non-member can also be taken on vacations on the membership of the already existing members in the same hotel on the same time but on welcome call chis customer care representatives told me that they can give assurance only for one room and only 10% chances for second room in non-peak season only. It is submitted that chis further promised to me that various vouchers will also be provided to me i. E. Rs. 3000/- food voucher, 2 night 3 day stay in jim corbett and 1 night stay at hyatt residency, gurgaon. It is submitted that your company official’s sales person intimated to me that the booking has to be made before 72 hour for domestic vacation and 1 month prior for international vacation. That after several perusals, i showed some interest to take the aforesaid package.
                                3. That your sales person asked me credit card to check the existing offer from chis on credit card for which i provided you the credit card of my bank account. It is pertinent to mention here that without taking prior permission of me and describing the offer, your sales person swap the credit card for the advance payment of rs. 20, 000/-. I was left with no other alternative otherwise to purchase the aforesaid package. It is submitted that whole payment for the aforesaid package was made by me and then an agreement was executed between you and my wife (Poonam sugandh). It is pertinent to mention here that your sales person assured me that copy of the original agreement and a welcome kit shall be provided but till date same was provided after 5 months later (I was sold membership on 9th apr'19 and welcome kit was sent to me in sep'19 after numerous requests. I had asked several times for the original agreement and welcome kit but it was of no avail.
                                4. That after one week i received verification call where i came to know that aforesaid package for 15 weeks that include 7 day and 6 nights per week. It also came to me that prior intimation of 15 days for the booking has to be made for domestic vacation and prior intimation of 30 days has to be made international vacation. It is pertinent to mention here that you also denied that no family friend/ non-member shall be allowed to book the second room on the same hotel & resorts for the aforesaid package. Your company upon verification call intimated that in addition to the already made membership payment, i shall also have to pay rs. 7, 000/- per vacation 6 night & 7 days as amc charges plus gst. The said fact about amc was not at all intimated to me at the time of sale of the policy.
                                5. That after a span of time, i was planning for vacation to mussoorie and as per the terms and conditions i booked for the aforesaid package via mail. It is pertinent to mention here that you provided the properties for mussorie which are not up to the commitment as provided by you and the same was objected by me. It is submitted that i have asked you to provide some other properties but you failed to do so.
                                6. That i wanted to use its 1 night complementary holiday in four points by sheraton, aerocity, new delhi replacement of hyatt regency, gurgaon with breakfast and the booking was made for the same. It is submitted that one of the officials of you the advised to me that booking at the four points by sheraton, aerocity was not available and same could be booked for lemon tree hotel, aerocity but i asked other resort properties. So your reservation team suggested ashoka resorts, kapasahera (I objected because that properties was cheap and not 5 star properties. But to the utter shock of me that you the again failed to provide services as per assurances given by you. It is submitted that you assured to me that the vacation package will include 2 adults members and 2 children but you while booking of the complementary package of sheraton aerocity intimated that 2 members and 1 child below 6 years shall be allowed in your membership and extra bedding charges has to be paid for 7 years old elder child members. I refused the same that you previously assured to me that package will be for 4 member’s. I. E. 2 adults and 2 children but the same did not happened. I surprise that i was assured by you at the time of the booking that the children upto 12 years shall be allowed to stay in same room, but when i enquired from the hotel, i was intimated that only one child below 6 year shall be allowed to sleep in one room and need to be paid extra bad charge for second 7 year child. That once again i was planning for trip to switzerland and prague (Czeck republic) and made the booking prior to 1 month. I had asked you to provide the properties in switzerland & prague but you have failed to do so by saying that chis doesn’t have any property in switzerland & prague (Czeck republic) and same cannot be further executed whereas your sales person show the dream to my wife for switzerland only. The deficiency and mollified intent of your company is evident vide i email dated 24.05.2019, 25.05.2019, 19.05.2019, 27.05.2019 17.04.2019, 10.06.2019 amongst others.
                                8. As i received my chis portal credentials in the last week of may’19 to access chis portal as a member there i found that all given offer is valid till 6 months only, from membership start date. And shocked that sales person offered 5 bonus weeks whereas on portal mentioned only 3 bonus weeks which also valid till 6 months.
                                Regarding it, i visited on dated 1st jun’2019 in your chis branch eros metro mall, 2nd floor, near dwarka sector 14 metro station, dwarka and meet the branch manager abdul khurshid and rafiq where i showed my disappointment by showing the experience with chis services and talked to refund the complete amount where abdul khurshid & rafiq promised to that your complete amount would be refunded. But after he didn’t reply of my phone call and email.

                                9. That country holiday inn & suites pvt. Ltd. Always failed to provide the services as assured by your sales person (Shahrukh & rehan), so being aggrieved from the aforesaid acts i via email asked to terminate the package and made the refund as soon as possible. But you did not pay any heed to the same.

                                Request and warn you the last time to refund my amount inr 1, 60, 000 (One lakh sixty thousand only) inclusive bank interest which i have paid as emi interest because of your sales person deceived where they said no cost emi.
                                But bank charges.
                                I couldn't avail even a single service because of these incidents and lot of fake promises.

                                  In reference to the above previous complaint against CHIS still they didnt fulfill their commitment to pay my interest amount of Rs. 10, 000 /- as the other representative Mr. Yogesh is also made fraud commitment as after his given statement by mail.

                                  Now i would like to take back my said amount on immidiate effect.

                                  On the other hand CHIS is also pressurized to the customer to close their complaint immediately. Now it will not done as previous.

                                    I received a call on from representative of chis (Lucky mathur and raman rathore) who offers me some gift vouchers (Like couple movie tickets, 3 days and 2 nights hotel stay in india and a parlour voucher worth rs. 15000/-) and collect the same from holiday inn, mayur vihar, delhi. When i inquired whether there is any presentation or a membership package, the said person denied and said that i have to just collect the vouchers and nothing more (I have voice recording) [misguidence]. I went there along with my husband and instead of giving free vouchers they asked me listen to their presentation for 45-50 minutes and it is compulsory. Ms. Simran attended us, then the trap was being set, we listen them carefully and trying to clear our doubts. Every time i raised query she called someone else to come (Mr. Kuldeep, take over manager is also there to clear our doubts and explain the policy) and then it all started. They made all the wrong promises, said things which were not there in their terms and conditions agreement. They told me everything that they committed is mention on their site and in agreement also and rest of the points they will mail to us [false]. Which is again a wrong commitment and misrepresentation.

                                    (1.) they told us that they will provide us 5 star hotels and resorts. Now they are saying 4 star 97% and only few 5 star 3% hotels will be in options.

                                    (2.) 70 days in 10 year with including complementary breakfast. (Which is 100%) sure. I have to pay for lunch or dinner if i take and they will provide 30% discount on food bill.
                                    Now customer care person told me breakfast will be chargeable.

                                    (3.) they said we have properties around 600 of them that we owe which is again not true. They said that we have to pay amc (Annual maintenance charge) rs 7000+ gst.

                                    (4) room type 1bhk for t1.
                                    Now they are saying it could be or not as per hotel.

                                    (5) we have to pay rs. 65, 000/- and rest in emi after 2 or 3 year as per our convenience. After payment of rs. 65, 000/- mr. Kuldeep told us if we will pay rs. 15, 000/- more, then immediate cash back of rs 5, 000/- will credit in our account. [fraud], then we paid another rs 15, 000/-. After paying the same when we did not receive the cash back, we inquired and then we were told that 5, 000/- will be deducted from the total membership cost in future. They told us they will send a detail mail. But there is no mail till today.

                                    (6) they said that the membership can be cancel within 14 days and full amount is refundable which i paid (Rs. 80, 000/-). We were told that this term is available in the website of chis. However when we checked there is no such term and conditions.in fact the website says that “membership is non refundable under any circumstances.”

                                    When i received a call from the customer care i told them the promises that were made. They told me that it is not in our terms. And when i ask her how am i not eligible if the membership sold to me with misrepresentation and false commitments. She told me we can't do anything.

                                    It appears that we have been cheated since, we have not received any email from chis detailing the term and condition as promised on 2nd october, 2019 by /ms. Simran and mr. Kuldeep sing negi.in such circumstances we request /you to cancel our membership and kindly refund our amount of rs. 80, 000/-, since we have lost faith in the company and don’t want to continue with the membership.

                                    On 3rd october after my first complaint, i received a call from mr. Dhanajay mishra (Venue manager), i explain my issue and concerns, he also made promise and gave verbal offers. When i asked him to send the same over email, he said that he will revert. But i have not received any email that reflecting such promises.

                                    On 09/10/2019 i received a call from ms jyoti (Customer relationship manager), to show her concern fro customer. Again i explained her every thing, but amazingly she started bulling me instead of solving. Her word are "aapke pas kkoi raasta nahi hai, aapko hamare hi pass aana padega, hamari term pe hi rehna padega, koi aapki madad nahi karega... Bla bla"

                                    When i am explaining my all problems to senior person and he did not doing any solution for customer satisfaction it means, seniors and company is allowing there representatives to tell lies to sell the membership and do fraudulent activities and sell service by using unfair practice.

                                    In such circumstances we request you to cancel our membership and kindly refund our amount of rs. 80, 000/-, since we have lost faith in the company and don’t want to continue with the membership.

                                    In case we do not receive positive response from you or we do not receive our money back we will be have no other choice but to take recourse to legal proceeding holding you liable for harassment, loss, damages and other consequence at your own cost.

                                    Since i haven't used their services and as per there verbal commitments i want my hard earned money back.

                                      The provisional membership number given is chisdl777543 but not accepted by me. This is to highlight the issues in consumer complaint forum how unethical practice and false promises was done to me by country holiday inn suites reps and took advance payment. I have taken up matter number of times with chis to refund my money as i have not taken any services. I did not take service due to mistrust & wrong doing by them but till date no respite. The facts as follows:
                                      I received a call from the rep of chis to attend a meeting at mgf mall gurugram at chis office to avail offers. During the meeting with sales rep of your company (Country holidays inn suites) on 19 sep 19 at gurugram office, it was informed me that six nights and seven days along with flight ticket will be given for dubai, but documented complimentary three nights and four days only. On query to sales rep, he informed that as on date this will be written but on activating membership he will provide six nights and seven days. On speaking with customer care call, it was informed that only three nights and four days will be given and that is company policy and no addition will be done under any circumstances, to my surprise she also informed flight ticket up to costing 30000/- will be paid by the company rest customer will have to bear the expenditure which also not brought out by sales rep any time. I have forwarded the copy to company through email wherein clearly they added 30000/- capping later on without my knowledge and same accepted by your sales team that aisa karna padta hai. Sales rep also given assurance that he will provide free tickets at fararri world and three amusement parks including stay at atlatis hotel at dubai which now i understand is not a fact. This is pure breach of trust, giving misinformation for alluring the customer to sell the product. Not providing accurate information is against customer rights.
                                      The sales rep also informed that paid amount (170000) will be converted to 0% interest emi for 12 months. On query from bank it was informed that no instruction for paid amount received from merchant. On query to sales rep he informed that he will get it done later on first accept the call from customer care and activate the process. On query from customer care, no instructions for 0% interest emi are exist at their end. It clearly appeared wrong information/false assurances have been given to me for selling the product. This is total unethical practice wherein consumer goes to financial and mental trauma.
                                      I told sales rep of company that i like to visit usa wherein i would require staying longer period i. E 21 days in one stretch. The sales rep informed that u can take advance holidays from the company. But on speaking to customer care it was informed that it cannot be more than 14 days in a year and that to i need to put gap between two holiday’s ie first avail 7 days then gap for 1 month and avail next 7 days. Why somebody will go to usa tour only for seven days after taking expensive ticket and visa charges. It means this package does not meet my requirement so it became more clear to me that i have been provided wrong information to just the sell product. I am undergoing severe mental agony after knowing all the facts.
                                      The sales rep also informed that agreement can be cancelled within seven days and same is available on our site without referring to any condition and he assured me that i am getting better deal so lock in now before i lose the opportunity. I made the advance payment of rs 170000/- on 19 sep 19 at 2108 h before signing the agreement. On trust, paucity of time and payment already made, the agreement was signed without going its nitty gritty. The agreement is unethical and does take care of consumer right which also against the law. Thereafter, on finding above areas of concern i told him to get cancel my agreement as i have not availed any facility / service so he said u avail the facility of any holiday i will get it cancel the agreement once u r reporting dissatisfaction of our service. I got alarmed and initiated in writing for cancelling my agreement on 21 sep 19.
                                      The sales rep also informed that maintenance charges required to be paid only when u avail holiday and not annually but agreement signed brought different language at so many places after i made the payment.
                                      In view of above said concerns clearly brings out the story of bad service, mistrust, misinformation by sales rep o[censored] r company and spoiling the image wherein the customer (Old lady) has been suffering heavy mental stress and financial stress since i have come to know that i have been duped by the rep of your company by giving false assurances, wrong doing and therefore my vacation agreement is cancelled from my side as i have not availed any service till date and return my money immediately.
                                      The numerous discussions on the subject with the sales head mr. Zafar and rep mohit saini have already taken place but none of concerns resolve till date and case cannot be resolved also because they did false promises to me. How sales team could have resolved the issue as they only did the wrong thing. I informed my cancellation of agreement to company on 21 sep 19 in email because of false assurances, wrong doing, misrepresentation of facts, breach of trust and customer dissatisfaction. I have not taken any services of the company and will not be taking any services in future. Hence no one can force me to take the membership. On account of mistrust, wrong information provided i thereby declare to company my agreement dated 19 sep 19 is cancelled and they need to return my money immediately. I have not availed any holiday package from them hence it is necessary on their part to pay back the money. Not returning the money is against consumer rights and unethical.
                                      It was well informed to chis that i would be taking up issue in social media as my case not resolved and my money is not refunded.
