in this complaint, i am writing complete story of this issue till date(10th February).
this issue is regarding the order ID OD[protected] purchased on 21st January 2018 with my Citibank credit card under the offer 10% cashback on 9th April 2018.
As per the offer if I purchase for above 5000 rupees on 21st January I will get 10% cashback on 9th April 2018.
I have ordered below 7 Items in the above mentioned order ID.
1. RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Maroon Shirt – 439 rupees
2. RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Black Shirt – 717 rupees
3. RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Blue Shirt (Royal Blue) – 716 rupees
4. RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Blue Shirt – 716 rupees
5. Indian Terrain Slim Fit Men's Beige Trousers – 857 rupees
6. Peter England Slim Fit Men's Beige Trousers – 735 rupees
7. Tibre Slim Fit Men's Black Trousers – 1695 rupees
Out of the above 7 items I have no issue with 4 products and I have issue with other 3 products(mentioned below).
1. I have returned “Peter England Slim Fit Men's Beige Trousers” due to fitting issue(refund received and issue is closed).
2. I have requested for replacement of “RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Black Shirt”( Return ID:[protected]), reason for replacement is different size shirt delivered to me (received 38th inch size shirt, but ordered 36th inch size shirt). I received replacement shirt on 2nd February, but again they delivered me 38th inch size shirt.
3. I have requested for replacement of “RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Maroon Shirt”(Return ID:[protected]), reason for replacement is different brand shirt delivered to me (received Deeksha brand shirt). I received replacement shirt on 6th February, but again they have delivered me different brand shirt instead of RG designer shirt.
After receiving wrong product for second time I contacted Flipkart customer care through mail as well as through phone call. They told me to opt for refund instead of replacement, but I refused to opt for refund option because the total purchase value should be more than 5000 to be eligible for 10% cashback. And If I opt for refund then I will lose my 10% cashback on Citibank.
Now I don’t have option of replacement for “RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Black Shirt” in the site ( I believe the shirt is out of stock), and for the “RG Designers Men's Solid Formal Maroon Shirt” stock is available on site but it is not available in replacement section for me (even though the seller is same in both the places).
I had many conversations with flipkart customer care and each person is giving different answers for my questions, below are some of the scenarios.
1. 3 customer care employees agreed that I will get 10% cashback even after I return those 2 incorrect shipment, and some said I will not be eligible if I return those products.
2. Some people said that Citibank is the responsible for cashback, and some said it is based on seller and flipkart not the Citibank.
Now I am unable to trust Flipkart customer care people.
Hence I have written all my questions below I request Flipkart to answer all the questions through mail.
1. Why did the seller sent me wrong product twice and what is the action you are going to take on seller for shipping wrong/fake products?
2. Why should I lose my money when the seller has shipped wrong/fake product?
3. How can we trust on Flipkart when we get multiple answers from them for same issue?
4. Why did your employees confirm me that I will receive cashback even after I return those 2 products?
5. Why Flipkart doesn’t take responsibility to make sure customer receive the correct product as described in the site?
6. When are you going to deliver me correct product?
7. Why don’t you have escalation path for any issues?
