I had placed a purchase order number OD[protected] on 25 September 2015 on flipkart.com for the purchase of Mi4 64 GB mobile phone. The order was delivered to me on 27th September 2015. On checking the phone, I found that the touch screen was not working properly, which I immediately reported to the customer care through a return request. I was advised to use the phone for a longer period say 6 hours and then give the feedback. I followed the advise but the problem persisted. I got a call from customer care the same day wherein I explained the problem again and reiterated that my return request should be accepted. I was then advised to go for system update and then recheck, though the customer care call was disconnected abruptly before I could apply the system updates. . This also didn't work and problem persisted. I was shocked to receive a mail from flipkart on 27th that my request has been disapproved. How can flipkart take such unilateral decision without considering my feedback. I have paid for proper and functional mobile phone, then why should I suffer ? On 29th September, I placed a fresh return request and on the same day, I got a call from customer care wherein I have categorically advised them that I need my refund at the earliest as I am not able to take this mental harassment anymore.

Complaint marked as Resolved As suggested earlier, I was downloading the SmartChk application suggested by their customer care representatives, so that they could analyse the phone from their end. The phone got auto updated, and now the phone works fine. The first set of updates proved to be useless but the second worked like a charm. I have been using this phone for a day now and I haven't faced any issues with the touch I faced earlier.
