I ordered Red MI2 phone (order # ) from flipkart on 7th July 2015. Next day I called customer care to apply exchange offer on this order and the rep. told me after order is placed this was not possible. Instead he cancelled this order for me and on his advice I placed a new order for the same phone, with an exchange offer on 8th July 2015. Unfortunately, flipkart delivered me both the phone. They apologised for delivering the first order, which was actually cancelled and arranged a return pick up for the same. Their courier boy picked up the phone on 13th July but I didn't recieve any refund even after three weeks. On calling flipkart I was surprised to learn that no refund was being made, as the product was not received back by them. They demanded me to produce a return receipt if I had 'actually' returned the product, which is not with me, as the return pick up person never gave me one. He just asked to sign on his sheet and that was all.
We gave all the details of the pick up person, including hsi phone number etc. (who happens to be flipkart delviery person also) to flipkart and they did lot of investigation and lot of enquiry to us and finally told that we would be getting refund by 14th August.
Later, I got a message that a replacement phone was being shipped to me. I called flipkart and told them I dont need a replacement but a refund. The rep apologised and told me that he would arrange to cancel the replacement and initiate refund. The replacement order was cancelled on the same day, however to my surprise again, no refund was initiated for few days. I called back again and the flipkart reps. again started telling me to produce the proof of return, without which no refund was possible...
This is extreme --- after one month of investigations, talks they first agreed to issue a refund -- then created replacement instead --- then again cancelled it and started asking for proof again, which I don't have because their pick up person never gave me a receipt. I even asked me what actions did they take against the pick up person -- which they failed to comment. I asked them, supposedly after initiation of return from their side, if I didn't give the product back to their courier boy, should he not have reported back to them that such and such customer didnt return the product and this return request couldn't be fulfilled? Had something like this happened, what actions did they tak --- no answer...
Flipkart is ripping me off of my hard earned money - a good amount of Rs. 6000 ---/ This is no small money for me and they are doing a fraud withe me withdholding it.
