I subscribed to a hathway broadband connection on 20th march, 2020 and was told i'd receive the connection in a week's time. Not only did they not provide me with the services, they're now no longer responding to my refund claims via phone, texts nor emails. The last i heard from the mumbai nodal officer - vishal rajpure - on 15th june, 2020 was that he'd get back to me with a status update on my refund. I haven't heard from him since. This is less about the money, but more to do with hathway's business ethics, professionalism and the tendency to take unsuspecting customers for a ride. It seems to me that mr. Vishal rajpure has blocked my number and is no longer interested in taking my calls nor responding to me via email. Businesses like hathway are bound to fail when they make promises they have no intention of keeping, except perhaps the customer's money which they clearly believe to be rightfully theirs and need no loner be refunded to the customer.

    This in regards to the frequent hathway ivr and customer care calls i have been receiving since the last 3 months. Due to the current covid situation, i am out of chennai since 14th march and i am not in a position to use my account until further notice. I have informed this several times to the customer care executives that i will not be able to resume my connection till i am back in chennai once again. However, all my attempts to inform my situations are in vain. I still receive frequent ivr and customer care calls several times in a day and sometimes in quick successions. This is a big harassment and i am deeply frustrated with all these calls which are impacting my mental health.

    I request to immediately stop these customer service calls. Hope this request is taken seriously and expect quick action in this regard by de-registering me from all hathway service calls (Both ivr and customer care executives) until further request from my end.

      I have a prepaid connection with hathway internet my customer no [protected]. It was installed 4 days and speed was too slow, i have faced extremly frequent disconnection, i opted for 100mbps but i am not even getting 10mbps i raised a service request and they closed without resolving it and when i call customer care they are not even connecting to any representative instead they are saying request raised but and i have a pre paid connection.. Which means i have already paid for the quality services they are supposed to give me. And they have failed in giving me quality services. If they are not able to resolve the issue i want the refund of what i have paid. Their customer service is so pathetic no one is taking responsibility. The person who called me to take the connection is now not lifting the call itself

        Hi, i am using hathway broadband account no:[protected]. I requested to terminate my service by sending a mail to billdesk and also to nodal officer, including grievance mail i’d. I also requested to stop the calls and messages as they are torturing me throughout my day. But no use and no one is solving the issue. I ll be happy if i find a solution here at least

          Good morning sir/madam

          I have registered for a new connection with account number:[protected], but as the technician said my address is too long to give a connection, the technician has asked us to apply for a refund as they are not providing a new connection to us, so please refund as soon as possible. Below i have enclosed the proof as i have paid the money rs 7066 for yearly subscription plans. I have tried calling deepthi [[protected]] who has contacted me regarding the new connection from hathway in the beginning till the payment. We tried calling her many times and texted her many times on whatsapp regarding the cancellation process but she neither answered calls nor replied to text messages. We request you to take action and refund the money as soon as possible.

            I have been getting multiple calls for marketing and recharge, while I had opted for online payment from the link shared as per them it does not reflect in there system but while my account shows the payment done yet they disconnected my WiFi + no response to the mails at all .

            Every time a hathway marketing person calls takes the details of reference Payment done still no one solves it nor takes action, but yes I will still getting calls to recharge and offers in a day I have received not less than close to 10calls .

            Extremely frustrating and bad service follow up that I have to do for someone genuine to solve this is not fruitful and one can’t reach out .

              I had purchased gtpl broadband plan of 40mbps in dec 2019. The plan is for 15 month. As of today i have completed 6 months of the plan.in this 6 months my internet has hardly worked for 4 months. My internet is not working from 4/6/2020 till today 29/6/2020. I've complained 8 times. All complaints got closed without any resolution. I've sent mails. I've visited their office. Nobody is replying to msgs or picking up calls. All are shameless people.
              Gtpl is a cheater company.

                  Hathway sales people call me daily multiple times to renew the connection even after i have denied for it several times. They even call from their personal numbers to hurl abuses these days, don’t understand how my personal information has been shared with their sales personals.

                    7) started this email thread on 23-jun-2020 as all the above-mentioned service tickets were closed without solving for my problem and no update being provided to me.

                    9) replied to this email thread on 25-jun-2020 asking for an update but received no update.
                    10) replied to this email thread on 26-jun-2020 asking for an update but received no update.

                    I feel thoroughly cheated by your service. For the same price that i pay i. E 5498 incl taxes for six months at 235gb/month (Promised was 900gb), i am getting jiofiber connection for 800gb/month.

                    Kindly advise how do we move forward with. Thankfully i had taken a screenshot of your sms which i found in my google photos backup. Please find attached.

                      I have requested for wifi on 9th of june, after 15days a guy came and set up the fibre. Later after two days another guy came and check the power connection. Now after 20days, a guy came and set up the router. The speed provided by the service provider is below average. I have not received my user id or any receipt of the transaction even. I do not know who to contact regarding network speed. All they do is making excuse of covid 19. I am attaching the screenshot of the speed test done by me. I am new to varanasi and this has been a very stressful time for me as a student. My studies have been suffering because of few employees giving excuses of covid 19 vividly. I beforehand asked them whether it would be possible or not, they took the money well in advance but haven't given the services provided.

                        I have paid for the hathway connection on 7th june 2020. Citrus reference no. - [protected]
                        The hathway agent claimed to give the connection to my house the next day. He was very responsive till i made the payment. But since the payment he didn't even reply to my calls or whatsapp messages. And till now i didn't get the connection. Its been 22 days. I am disappointed by their service. I mailed them and didn't receive any response.

                          I am using gtpl broadband service since last 12-15 days and have lost connection for 5-6 times in between and that too not for a short period. The lost connection issue usually remains for 5-6 hours. Apart from that the speed is also not good as i am paying for 40 mbps plan. When i raised complaint in gtpl customer support they closed my ticket without providing any solution to me.

                          I am paying for this connection for my office work, if it gets lost like this continuously it affect my work and business reputation.

                          I am not getting proper service for what i have paid for.

                          Please do the needful or get me refund.

                            I have cancelled the connection but now everyday i get more than 20 calls asking to make payment, even though i tell the representatives that i am not using the connection they won't stop calling. This is an harassment.

                              I am writing to you regarding the problem that i have been facing in shifting the broadband internet service. I have requested for the service to be moved from vadodara to ahmedabad. This remains still as an unresolved issue as of june 29 2020 9:00 am.

                              Timeline:

                              June 14, 2020: request submitted
                              June 20, 2020: follow up call made to customer service as no response received.
                              June 21 - june 24, 2020: follow up call made to customer service as no response received. And, no action was taken.
                              June 25, 2020: submitted necessary fees and documents by going to the regional gtpl office since no one helped or showed up.
                              June 25, 2020: registered complaint.
                              June 25, 2020: customer service representative closed the complaint without any communication or resolution.
                              June 25, 2020: registered complaint again.
                              June 26, 2020: follow up call made to customer service as no response received. And, no action was taken.
                              June 28, 2020: customer service representative closed the complaint without any communication or resolution.

                                I have a gtpl wifi.. But after all setup to there no internet connection some times and when called up to technicians for complaints or employees they are noted to be highly irresponsible.. Technicians tell to call someone other and they are just running from their duty and telling others to take complaint. I don't understand how such a renowned company can be so unorganised... If gtpl can't provide satisfactory service then provide me my money back coz.. Neither service nor internet is working properly...

                                Just fed up of this guys😡😡😡

                                  I hold an existing hathway connection. I paid all my existing bills. I am out of station and will take few months to be back to my home due to covid-19 situation. I conveyed the same to hathway that i will renew once i am back. But they do not listen and they are calling atleast 4-5 times a day with different numbers. Till now i have received more than 100 calls from hathway.

                                        I had a hathway connection and disconnected a few months back. Since then i am getting too many calls. Every time i asked them to stop calling me, they say okay sir. But nothing happens next day same.

                                        The answers are really unprofessional. They literally said, "now what, we can't do anything, don't speak extra, shut up". It's not acceptable at all. Is there a way to get call recordings from their side, so that we can proceed with the next steps.

                                        Is this really allowed for the companies to call people like torture them until they buy again? Is this not a crime, killing mental peace and scolding their customers, testing their patience.

                                        Is it a flaw in their process and approach they have chosen or with their team. I don't think it is a people with their team (Except the one person who said "now what, shut up"). Looks like they are trained for this I guess.

                                        Anyways I wanted to know is is this allowed, what would my next steps to make @Hathway answer to my questions and address this concern and take action against that unprofessional guy. I was a little serious with them in the last call, but definitely not unprofessional until they provoked me to say "You also shut up".
