I have been a premium customer with HDFC Bank for over a decade now, however, Last year due to huge accumulation of funds, I had contacted HDFC bank manager at Brooke fields Branch, Bangalore to help me with appropriate investment options, who in-turn introduced me to one investment manager Mr.Vijay who works for the same back. While discussing investments, I was offered for one of their products Jeevan Sanchay policy with a guaranteed return of 13 % or more in the coming years. ( of course, hence, since this is much better than an FD, I agreed for this investment and also considering this is no direct connection with market fluctuation ) Key Points to note here.

1 I had no clear visibility to how this policy will perform
2 THe policy was sold in peak of COVID 19 period in Bangalore where as my registered address is in Hyderabad
3 WRONG details and Promises made ( over 13% CAGR promised)
4 As per the rules a hard copy of the insurance copy will be sent to registered address and a retraction is possible within 30 days of such a reciept. - ( again please note there was no way that i could access the hard copy of the policy )
5 None of the details of the policy was explained to me in detail by the selling officers.( no mails sent or details explained)

post this scenario, after few months of wait and deep stress and handling during the COVID ( focus on safety and health and no direct access to the staff ) while i was saving for my second instalment, i checked back for the hard copy and also checked for numbers / returns promised, to my dismay, i realised the total returns will be much less than the promised amount.

At this point I raised a compliant with the HDFC life ( Marathahalli Branch ) in writing and also a compliant with the call center ( details attached ) to 1) cancel the policy with immediate effect 2) The details of policy mis-sold 3) investigate the case and return the initial or amicable amount ( less some charges if any )

however, I have had / still having a very bad experience with the insurance company for the details shared below.

1) I have not had any direct response to my queries until 10 reminders, I was always getting a canned / standard system response

2) Even the last response, only standard / canned responses are struck to my mails

3) THe team confirmed there has been investigated, however, despite multiple reminders and requests, the details of investigation has not been shared

4) the customer service team keeps referring to the policy hard copy, this was never received by me nor i was available in Hyderabad and due to travel restrictions, none of these is possible.

5) I have paid for 10 Lakhs for nothing, it is a huge amout and life time savings of a person, how can such a huge amout be forfieted, this is impacting my life decisions and is very frustating.

I request the ICCF to help me in this regard and solve for it amicably, i will be further writing to IRDA as well on this compliant and will not be giving up on the atrocious looting.

Please also note : Despite me getting confirmation mail from the HDFC life that the policy has been cancelled, I keep getting calls and mails from the HDFC team to pay for the premium, clearly shows how the systems are inefficient. ( I have screenshots of the same )

              Hi, I used to recharge my fastag account using HDFC payzapp application, I was using it extensively, but recently when I tried to recharge my fastag by providing the wallet ID, the error pops up saying the account is freezed,

                Sir/ Madam,
                I had requested address change and cheque book to be received on 7th August in Ambala Cantt, Sadar Bazar Branch.
                Today is 21 August and the address has not been changed. Also, I had requested that I will collect the cheque book from the same branch since I have shifted my city however they sent the cheque book to another city (Gurgaon).
                For 2 weeks none of my concerns are resolved. I am really disappointed with the inefficiency of HDFC.

                    I opened HDFC bank savings/salary account online, Got the welcome kit with debit card, Passbook etc..

                    They have issued with fancy offers Debit card(Millennia Card) which attracts Rs 500 plus taxes yearly without my consent. There are many other category cards are available in their list which i never got option to select during account creation.

                    I never got list drop down(Check box) for selecting debit card type and charges related to it, they issued some fancy card without consent and charging for same after PIN generation.

                    I have not used for single transaction till today, post asking for refund they are unable to do so with reason "Card already issued".

                    Pls look into this, they are marketing these fancy cards and cheating customers.

                        With reference to above subject, I need NOC against credit card number 0004639********9504.
                        Details are as below:-

                        1.Name of Card Holder:-Abhijeet Kulkarni

                        I have paid all my outstanding payment of Rs.6, 048/- through PhonePe & Netbanking.Payment details as per below,

                        Payments -
                        1. Date 01/05/2021 Rs. 2, 047/- phone pay (refer WA0005 JPG)
                        2.Date 24/04/2021 Rs. 500/- phone pay (refer WA0006 jpg)
                        3.Date 15/02/2021 Rs.3, 500/- phone pay (refer WA0007 JPG)
                        4.Date 17/02/2021 Rs.1, 500/- (Net Banking)

                        Total:-Rs.7, 547/- paid on HDFC Credit Card against outstanding of Rs 6, 048/-

                        Due to non-use of my credit card till November 20, 2020. HDFC Bank sold the card to Kotak Mahindra Bank. I received a mail from Kotak Mahindra Bank's recovery agent Phoenix ARC stating that I owed Rs. 6, 047 / - which I did not use anywhere. However, I paid the amount and sent the payment screen shots to the Phoenix ARC as proof.

                        Surprisingly, they have made a write-off entry in CIBIL against my card. This has reduced my CIBIL Score by 200 points..

                        I have made several reminders to Kotak Bank, Phoenix ARC but I have not received any reply from their side. Now I am unable to take a new loan due to low CIBIL score.

                        For solving this issue, Phoenix ARC needs NOC from HDFC bank for clearance of payment against Credit Card Number [protected].

                        After receiving NOC from HDFC bank they will update the my CIBIL.

                        Therefore, Request you to kindly do the needful immediately.

                          These people are really shameless, they call almost everyday for 3-4 times and ask if there is any loan requirement.
                          I dont know what language they understand. This is such a blunder. These are telephonic terrorist, harassing people by calling them frequently.
                          What could be done to resolve this issue. How to complain in customer forum regarding this.

                              I hope you must be aware about the Global Pandemic which has terribly spoiled many lives and peoples financial savings. I am also a financially affected person in COVID 19 pandemic.

                              I had visited the nearest HDFC Branch to withdraw my saving amount from HDFC account and the branch officer told me that you have negative balance in your account and you are supposed to make payment to the bank because your account has been automatically converted to Saving Account from Corporate Salary Account. You haven't maintained the minimum bank balance which is mandatory in a Savings Account.

                              I am surprised that I have never given any consent to convert my Salary account to Savings Account.

                              Hence, request you to close my account and refund my balance amount.

                                I am a customer HDFC bank since 15 years and regularly taking personal loan. Present one personal loan and two car loans with your bank. I am professional and one EMI is missed in this month due to lack of funds. I could not observe that. Today morning somebody informed me for payment, i requested for link for payment. I have received link at 11.00 AM and paid EMI paid immediately on receipt of link. I know the consequences if not paid EMI. I have paid the EMI with penalty.

                                After half an hour I received call from this mobile [protected] Mr shashidhar knocked the door asked my wife for payment.

                                I am astonished that if one EMI fail inadvertently go to residence. Please check my history with your bank. I am shocked to your bank behave like this like roadside pan broker. Even that person also wait for three EMIs.

                                What a ashamed behaviour. I am deeply hurted and try to close or surrender all savings account, personal loan, two car loans, credit card, HDFC ergo insurance and others.

                                I need immediate help in this regard

                                  Address: HDFC ATC Counter on 1st Cross, Arakere Mico Layout 1st Stage, diagonally opposite to Sri Ganesha Temple, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore 560076

                                  I have SBI ATM Card through which I draw cash occasionally. In our layout, unfortunately, there is no SBI ATM counter and the nearest one is situated approximately 1.5 KM away. Being a Senior Citizen of 85 years, I cannot walk that distance. On 19/08/2021 around 04.45 PM I went to HDFC ATM counter situated on 1st Cross, Arakere Mico Layout 1st Stage, diagonally opposite to Sri Ganesha Temple on 5th Main Road to draw cash. I operated the keys, as usual to draw Rs. 2000.00 from my SB Account [protected]. After a few seconds, it displayed to remove the card and collect cash. There was an usual sound of dispenser but it stopped without disbursing the amount. I pressed several buttons all in vain. I pressed the three emergency buttons placed near the machine, there was no response. There was no security guard. All my movements have been recorded in CCTV camera (hopefully). While the transaction was going on and even before the last display came, I received as SMS from my bank as follows: Dear SBI Customer, Rs.2000 withdrawn at HDF ATM P3AWBN35 from A/cX3086 on 19Aug21 Transaction Number[protected]. Available Balance Rs.10599. If not withdrawn by you, forward this SMS to [protected] / call [protected] or [protected] to block your card. Download YONO SBI. Use SBI ATMs. I did not know what to do. I called the number provided in the ATM counter but in vain. I went to Bank of Baroda near by and successfully drew Rs. 1000.00 from their ATM. I consulted the personnel inside Bank of Baroda about my experience and they told me that I have to complain personally at my Bank. Next day was holiday. They also told me sometimes, if the cash is not dispensed, a credit would be made for the same amount and that I should check in my account. Accordingly, I checked my Account in YONO app this morning and was relieved to notice that the amount of Rs. 2000.00 has been credited.
                                  After this experience, I will avoid going to that particular ATM Counter. My question is why such failures should take place? Suppose I did not have any further balance in my account, what should one do at such an hour when the Bank is closed and followed by holiday/s? Why is the Security person goes off for more than 40 minutes that I spent there in panic?

                                  You have asked me :"Kindly liaise with the Card issuing Bank for further assistance in this regard." Please note the Complaint is against your Bank's ATM which malfunctioned and my Bank which has issued me the card is no way responsible. I proved it by going to Bank Of Baroda's ATM across the road immediately and drew Rs. 1000.00 using the same card, that did not function in your ATM. It is your responsibility to check why it malfunctioned and put me into panic, for no fault of my Bank or mine.                                     I have recently opened new savings account in HDFC bank.
                                    From past two days unable to transfer money from hdfc to other account using IMPS/ NEFT as well all the UPI apps.
                                    My money has been blocked not able to do anything,
                                    Tried calling customer care many times, all they are telling is everything from their side is fine .
                                    Even wrote multiple mails
                                    Not satisfied with the customer support at all.
