I have applied fastag through hdfc bank online portal. My application reference number is hfr350389. The sole purpose of applying through hdfc bank is that i have an s/b account with them for the past 4 years and i am satisfied with their services. But to my surprise, this time my experience became dreadful. The details of which am writing consequently.
1) i have applied on 10th november, 2019, sunday. The website was displaying that the concerned authority will contact with me at the earliest and the kit will be delivered within 7 working days.
2) after spending the next week, i have contacted with my branch relationship manager and she asked me to wait for 7 working days.
3) after waiting for 7 working days, i have contacted with her on 20th november, 2019 and she gave me a toll free no.
4) as per her instructions, i have contacted with them, again then they gave me other "special charged number" for which i was getting charged for "rs. 1.5/- per minute only."
5) in a loop after contacting with the bank authority in various such numbers and loosing an hour and almost rs. 50/-, finally i gave up/
6) most surprisingly, the bank authority and the customer care people was not informed about "fastag". Everyone was getting surprised and was mumbling, and i have to explain them what fastag is.
7) again i contacted with my relationship manager and this time she herself took the responsibility.
8) on november 23, 2019, i got a mail bearing my customer id and waller id. But till now, my kit is untraceable and i dont know when r whether i will ever get it or not.
That's all my dreadful experience with hdfc. Thank you.

Complaint marked as Resolved They didn't ever contact with me regarding the issue. What they did was informing me time to time about my Fastag Wallet creation, usable amount, wallet ID and customer ID via SMS and Mail service. I guess this is the routine process of delivering a product. Although I have received the Fastag, I got if after approx. 30 working days which was to be delivered within 7 working days. And most importantly, they didn't bother to inform me about the courier service, the package ID etc.
HDFC Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I have applied for Fastag via HDFC online with reference number HFR935771. After applying, i got message stating that filled form pdf will send to your registered email, which i didn't receive yet.
After few days i got a message with my Wallet id and Customer id[protected]. So now i am able to login to site, but so far i didn't receive fastag sticker. I tried to call customer support - [protected] multiple times but nobody is picking the call. Then i tried to call pos number of Bangalore [protected], but again the same, nobody picks the call. Even i didn't receive any call from any of the courier services.
I have nearly 7 years of relationship with HDFC and never faced such scenario. But for specific to fastag service this is happening. With this i am bit scared, how can i get help if i stuck in some toll plaza, as nobody is receiving the call.
