They the bank hit the charges without my knowledge and without any confirmation email or sms or any phone call. Please explain what the charge it is.       Since last year ICICI bank is debiting Rs. 1899 for some random policy call WPP Renewal. I never enrolled in it and I just check my account and they have charged again. How can a bank enroll us into some random policies without our approval. I need to know how you got this approval. This is totally a big scam and i need all my money back.

        Hi,
        I had a personal loan in axis bank for which emi was deducting from icici bank account in june2017 to dec2017 there was around 10-12 thousand amount has been deducted from my icici bank account in name of the ecs charges.
        Which i also deposited into axis bank also when i closed the loan.
        But when i talked to icici bank executive they told sir it can be deducted any number of times, but as per rbi rules they cannot cut any charges even single time. The end customer has to deposit that amount to the bank where the loan is running as before june 2017 also one time emi was bounce in that case icici never cut the money only axis people called and told me to deposit the delay charges by neft which i has been done through neft.

        For this i compliant to icici bank but each time they tell and forget that sir we looking into your issue and its been now more than 1.5 years but still my issue not resolved.

        Is in india private bank can cut any amount from a customer account and don't even repay him back means our account even not secure in the private bank?
        If i didn't replace my salary account from that bank account then they could cut 1lkah or more

        I'm looking for filing a PIL against them if consumer court also not able to help here, as I raised complaint multiple times in ICICI bank but no reply and even cut my calls also. and I raised a complaint in banking ombudsmen from their also no reply.
        let see if this consumer forum can help or I have to go offline mode into court

        I did email around 20 times but no resolution in the last 1.5 years, I'm waiting max 31st may if the issue will not be resolved in June I'm going to file a court case and PIL too.
        Is this online forum is not useful?
        why there is no consumer case against ICICI bank. do I need to go offline and have to file consumer case against ICICI bank?

            Hi All,

            I am having my salary accout in ICICI bank . But few days back 52 Rs/ were deducted from my salary account and when i looked into my mini statement it was described under "ATM DEC CHG". And when I tried to explore it over Internet, I found these charges are applied for when ATM of other bank declined to withdraw the money, if it doesn't have enough. So is it ethical to charge customer for this reason.Although i was having enough balance at that time.
            Moreever, it is also legal as per RBI rule.

              I am an Account holder in ICICI bank. Yesterday my bank has charged me more than 500 rupees stating it as POS DEC CHG. Upon calling the bank they said that my card has declined in the past. Really! I think it's a scam. I haven't used my card anywhere for the past 6 months. If they want I can show the bank statement. It's more like a robbery & upon complaining, the bank doesn't even seem to care about it. Hope they will look into this and give an explanation of why are they taking our hard earned money from our pocket without our consent.

                    wrong name on credit card

                    I applied for credit card, provided all the require documents to the bank executive and received the credit card but with all wrong written name, icici bank employees will call only for collection or only for new services? And the employees are so busy in work that they are not matching (Name) or not cross checking with original document. If same mistake happen from customers to update the details you guys will say "fraud' so for this mistake...

                    I received call from icici bank and they just given information about one assist plan after than they automatically activated this plan and i get this mail today.

                    I don't need this plan actually. Please deactivate this plan and refund my money as soon as possible.

                            I have processed the transaction on 14th May 2019 to sarathi account (TRANSPORT AUTHORITY) for license fees because i need to submit licencse fees. i am emailing icici bank and submitted complaint online but there are no action has been taken at yet. as i am suffering for this non professional behaviour of ICIC bank. nor my money refunded nor its credited to customer account.

                              I deepak kumar sharma user of coral credit card number xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-6019, r/o flat number 242 plot no. 5c shri vinayak apartment dwarka new delhi 110077.

                              I have raised a fraud dispute sr[protected] with icici customer care on fraud merchant. On 7th may i directed icici to please stop the emi and refund my money for the credit card transaction. This transaction was made for rs 70000 on 26 arp-19 (Approx.).

                              On sat, may 11 i called icici customer care and they told me the vendor is not responding so we have closed the complaint and you will get the money back to your credit card number xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-6019. I did a recording of the call that is attached to this email.

                              Now again when i am calling icici customer care they are refusing on the above commitment. I have tried reaching to the grievances cell but they are also not able to resolve this. Now icici have closed this sr[protected] without any resolution.

                              In continuation to my previous email and calls made to icici in resolving this issue, i am getting no response from either the merchant or icici bank. I afraid that so good relationship between your bank and me can end up like this.

                              I have not availed or got any services from vendor, so i will not be able to pay this amount of rs 70000/- from my pocket. Please assist me and make your customer relationship stronger.

                                Now in 17/5/2019, icici bank collecting charges from my saving account as pos decline charge for march 2017. Bank never informed me that i have this charges to pay.

                                I already faced same issue & then i removed my debit card details from the services after getting confirmation from bank.

                                Now they collected almost rs 400 in 15 days as pos decline charges in 2017. When i call customer care, they told that they can't refund the amount.

                                I visited nearest ICICI main branch in Calicut - Kerala & they don't have any idea about pending charges and fine I have to pay. My account is on the same branch. I discussed this issue with too many persons including branch manager & they don't have any detail about my pending charges. At last, they suggest to give a complaint & wait for some days. Bank collected my cash & they don't have any idea about it.

                                If bank collecting fine, they have to do that on the same month or with in 3 month or at least once in a year. It help customers to avoid unnecessary fines & charges. The account is always active & each month, bank collecting my EMI amount, credit card due and other charges. At least when a customer contact customer support or nearest branch, they must ready to share details about pending fine.

                                Also send an email with details to ICICI customer care including my contact details.

                                I got a email reply from ICICI bank customer care. The reply content given below.

                                With reference to your e-mail, we wish to inform you that if a transaction is declined at any Point of Sale (POS) due to insufficient balance in the account, charges of Rs.25.00 plus 18% Goods and Service Tax (GST) w.e.f. July 1, 2017 will be applicable per transaction.

                                We inform you that charges are not levied from your account at that time .

                                Hence, as our team checked charges are pending from long time, hence charges are debited from your account in May, 2019.

                                We look forward for more opportunities to be of service to you.

                                My complaint is not about collecting fine. Bank must inform me about collecting fine after 2 year.

                                As I already informed, I never get any notification that I have to pay any amount to bank as fine or charges other than my credit card dues and loan dues.

                                Even after this incident, I have reached to my nearest bank main branch (Calicut - Kerala), they can't provide any details about my pending charges. The manager ask for 3 days & still he don't have any answer.

                                If bank not collecting fine in next month or next year & I have to pay fine to bank, bank must inform me. As a customer, I have right to know about my fine and charges. Even visiting to branch, there is no any option to know about charges or fine.

                                Collecting fine or charge on proper time in an active account is part of your system. It is not my mistake.

                                I'm afraid that there is chance for collecting huge fine in upcoming year.

                                  Dear icici, how can you deduct money from my account without notifying me? Today i was just checking transactions of my account and found that rs 826/- has been deducted from my account towards dp charges till feb2019 (Dmc/in[protected] dp chgs till feb-19). At the time of opening demat account you guys have mentioned clearly that there are no charges for demat account and it is absolutely free.

                                  Request you to kindly return my money back. I am loosing trust on icici bank whether my money is safe here or not.

                                  Need action on priority.

                                    Am an icici bank customer. Today 16/05/19 ecsrtnchg charged 413 rupees. I don't know what the charges ecsrtnchg... They the bank hit the charges without my knowledge and without any confirmation email or sms or any phone call. Please explain what the charge it is. This type direction is not good please return my charged amount.

                                      Last month i opened an account online with icici. I still haven't received
                                      Any update on my internet banking access.
                                      On 4th may, i went to srinagar colony branch. There they told me that the
                                      Internet banking kit is in transit.
                                      Also they made me fill internet banking form.
                                      It's 16th may today and i haven't received any update on my internet
                                      Banking application yet. Instead when i emailed customer care, they said
                                      That they didn't receive any internet banking application on my registered
                                      Account.
                                      Also when i dial the customer service no. [protected], i just hear "welcome to icici phone banking... Thank you for calling icici", nothing in between.

                                      What is this???
                                      It's really really disappointing. Other banks don't take so much time.
                                      Please look into the matter.
