Dear Sir/Madam, I am registered user of ICICI Lombard and me and my family is covered for med claim with them, and they have rejected my claim for unknown reasons. Below is the entire issue, My son (1 yr old) was suffering from Hernia and required immediate surgery, I called ICICI Lombard to enquire about the panel formalities, and their representative told me that the disease is covered and the hospital is in their panel. Now, when surgery is over and I am asking for the claim amount ICICI Lombard has rejected my claim, saying that Hernia is not covered. I have checked the policy documents and nowhere it is mentioned that Hernia is not covered. I called them, but their representatives are misbehaving with me. I escalated this issue to their Service-Quality Manager Deepa R and Vice President-Service Quality Ms. Vasundhara B, however all in vain, nobody is responding to my quries.I am really feeling helpless and nobody is ready to help me.I request you to kindly look into the issue and take proper actions, so that I and many people like me can get rid of this kind of corruption.Thanking You, Yours Truly, Piyush Bharat
