dear sir/madam,
we had travelled in kanyakumari exp,no-6381 on 14/5/2010 coach no S-10 seat nos -49/50/52 ticket no[protected] pnr no-[protected]. as per the rules of irctc all the trains and the necessary service providers have their respective complaint books. when we travelled in the train and during the lunch when we asked that why is there no chapati in the lunch they said that it is as per railway rule that there is only a small portion of riceof 250 gms with a sabji and sambar tied in a aluminium packet tied with rubber band with no water and curd available in the afternoon. i being a vigilant press reporter i thought of going into the details and found that the manager mr. anil (name not told by him) said that he can serve only these things and nothing else he was rude and angry on my querry.he didnt bother to answe my question and was neither ready to share with the complaint book , so i am forced to do it online as i was on my religious pilgrimage to sabarimala.can indain railways tell me that why is not the complaint book given to any other person (TC), or railway staff as the pantry manager will not like any complaints against him or the contractor. i think there is canteen contract racket going on as this has happend many times that we have to eat whatever they offer and not what we want (prescribed by railways). if possible i want railways to take action against the pantry manager and have a person from the railways who has surprise checks in the pantry and also interacts with passengers. if a person of my cadre who is related to press is not giv en the complaint book how can a common man expect to write a complaint against them. later we ordered food for dinner and while paying the money we demanded for the complaint book , but still he didnt give it,please advice as to where to send the money. please take the complaint seriously.as i would like to get a reply and feedback of this complaint,

    DISPITE PAYMENT AGAINST 4 TICKETS FROM SECUNDERABAD TO NAGARSOL TRAVELING ON 10 JUNE AGAINST FOLLOWING PAYMENTS TICKET IS NOT BOOKED. IRCTC REJECTED STATING BANK PAYMENT NOT RECIVED ? PROOF IN ENCLOSED FOR YOUR REFERENCES. ALSO REQUESTED BY EMAIL TO ISSUE PNR AND TICKET AGAINST THE PAYMENT. THEY FAIL TO ATTEND MY COMPLAINT AND SAID YOUR AMOUNT WILL BE REFUNDED WITHIN 3 TO 5 WORKING DAYS. ONLY RETURN TICKET PNR IS ISSUED TRAVELING ON 12 JUNE. THESE TYPE OF PROBLEMS ARE COMMON WITH IRCTC AND NO SUPERVISION AND NO PROPER MONITORING.

    The ticket under PNR no. [protected] is successfully cancelled*. **The due amount will be credited to your account through payment gateway electronically. We would ensure that the refund is made at the earliest.*
    I booked a ticket on 2nd August of 2010 through internet banking using SBI accont, the ticket charges were deducted from my account at same the time.
    But after one day i.e. 03rd August 2010 again Rs 10 was deducted from my account showing "Commission of IG[protected]IG25976322IG26017333 TRANSFER TO [protected] SBI IRCTC COMMISION A/ 10.00".
    What is This?
    Refund my money as possible as and do provide me the details amount the deduction of the amount after one day for the transaction made a day earlier. Why its happened?
    Details of the deducted amount from my SBI account is given below..

      please close the tatkal ticket booking from the irctc.co.in, because it is not possible to take/book tatkal seva scheme ticket to any normal person. please allow this facility to only railway reservation counter instead of irctc.co.in.
      if not stop booking of tatkal ticket online through irctc.co.in website then it will become harmful to all people except agent who making money of triple time ticket fare.

      No IRCTC helps much for meddle class and also, many officals Bankers, Govt officers etc., . If irctc STOPED TATKAL, THE LOCAL BROKERS WILL DEVELOPE AT RAILWAYS COUNTER, THEY HAVE VERY GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH RAILWAYSTAFFES. IRCTC AGENTS COLLECTIING SERVICE CHARGES NORMAL AND THEY TAKECARE OUR BOOKING WELL. WE CAN GO TO OUR DALILY WORK. IF WE GO TO RAILWAY COUNTER OUR ONE DAY SALARY WILL LOSS. EVEN BASIC LABOURS ALSO USING IRCTC AGENTS SERVICES. MOST OF INDUSTRIES START AT 8.00 AM. WHO CAN SPEND ONE DAY FOR TATKAL BOOKING. TO COMPARE ONE DAY LOSS OF SALARY, IT'S BEST TO HAND OVER TO AGENTS. MOST OF RAILWAY COUNTERS FULLY COVERED BY UNAUTHORISED PERSONS, FROM EARLY MORNING. IF BAN FOR IRCTC, OUR TELNOLOGY WILL GO BACK YEAR.
      tatakal reservation time must start 48 hour before exactly. means every train has same time ie.8.00am thats wrong.

        Hi,

        I have booked a railway ticket from Vijayawada (BZA) to Howrah (HWH) PNR NO. [protected] for Rs.1460 on 05/13/2010. I have checked today (05/15/2010) IRCTC has deducted twice of the fare from my SBI debit card ie RS 2920.. Hence I have faced trouble while assuming 1500 balance in my account.

        This is not the first time experiance with IRCTC. IRCTC is providing VERY poor service in online reservation along with catering. No idea why Indian Railaways still continuing with IRCTC.

        I have also notice there is no toll free number to contact IRCTC for customer quries.

        IRCTC has provided only Mumbai and Chennai STD number to contact IRCTC customer support.

        I have booked a railway ticket from Sealdah (SDAH) to Darbhanga (DBG) on 18.12.2012 but, no ticket issued for my account where as IRCTC has deducted of the fare from my Indian Bank Debit Card ie Rs 482. My Dabit Card No.[protected].
        Hance I have faced trouble.

          I am using the irctc online reservation facility and got irctc user id and passward and the facility ie.,booking and cancelling the e-tickets of trains. Suddenly, the irctc authoriteis have deactivated my irctc user id. Due to unavaidable circumstances, the tickets booked under my irctc user id crk_1963, have to be cancelled. But I could not get it done and the authorities informed thorugh mails, that should be done only through email which was furnished in my profile. As the email furnished in the profile was not accessing now and got another email (rediffmail) ([protected]@rediffmail.com). Inspite of requesting several mails, the irctc authorites could not respond properly. Hence, kindly appropriate action may be taken against the IRCTC authorities. The cancellation of tickets worth Rs.6,000/-

          My case is same as of chandana. Mine also deactivated suddenly. I booked tickets worth of approx. Rs11, 000/- in my id. I could not able to cancel it. The worst response from IRCTC. Please suggest me to get my money back.

          My user id rkg4699 also decativated by quoting wrong reason that I have claimed TDR wrongly.
          No perosn available to answer my question in IRCTC...can any body provide me the correct contact deatils where I can lodge complain agianst them., Customer care is not responding at all.

          My user-id also got deactivated. They(IRCTC) are saying that a person should not have two user-id's
          Why is IRCTC harassing us like this. By deactivating a user-id, IRCTC is encouraging people to create more user-id's. This will in turn create a problem. Thay have put a ceiling on monthly bookings(10).
          Do they feel that people will travel only 10 times a month? Many people travel more than 20 times a month. Why don't they revise that ceiling? If they would have increased that ceiling to 20, many people wouldn't have created additional user-id's.

          Did they ever think about the facilities that are being provided by them?
          What kind of facilities irctc is providing in their canteens?
          Non hygienic food is being served in many places at very high price.
          Did they ever conducted a customer feed back survey?
          More fraud is done through offline bookings than online bookings.
          To cover all their inabilities they are doing these kind of Deactivations.

          This is really a harassment from IRCTC.
          I have the same problem. I had to travel and realised that the tickets cannot be printed. Wrote to customer care ([protected]@irctc.co.in) - they wanted the PNR No- obviously I do not memorise PNR nos of tickets I book and without web access, I cannot retreive them. I replied as such - now they want the transaction ID - how do I remember this also? Ultimately made a call to Chennai Call Centre - learnt that number itself has been deactivated. Called Delhi by STD and after 3 calls, got my tickets by email. Now I can travel - but need to cancel my return - God save me from Railways.

          Delhi Call Centre Lady advised me to re- register anew. Tried. But if the address is same or email ID is same or user ID is same - regitration is refused. Looks like I have to use a False name, false ID, false email to register. IRCTC will only encourage frauds and prevent genuine passengers from travelling in Railways or do they expect us to go and stand in long queues like the olden days. IRCTC wants to take India back to 19th Century! God Save India.

            I have registered a complaint about the irctc online booking website not opening every morning three days ago. I have tried to open irctc site for tatakal booking also today i.e. 14th May 2010 from 8.00 AM onwards but the site is not opening. IF the higher authorities of Railways will not intevene with an honest attitude the things will remain the same.

            There seems to be a permanent connivance somewhere and because of this right from 8 AM onwards EVERYDAY WITHOUT FAIL the irctc on line booking website is never av
            ailable till all the berth are filled up.

            It is a challenge to the Railways. Shall they be able to improve or continue toprefer to be a paty this connivance and mismanagement.

            Next complaint will be made direct to Hon'rable minister Ms Mamta Banerjee and after that to the PM himself.

            Indian Railways — computer does not start before 8:30

            i always book my tickets from unjha station 3 months in advance but when ever i go to the counter to book the tickets they do not on the the computer, saying they will on the computer only on 8:30am due to which i am never able to get the comfirmed tickets even three months in advance . in the whole of india the computerised booking starts at 8.00am in the morning so why am i deprived of this facility at the unjha station.why do they start the computer at 8:30am in the morning and why not at 8:00am . i would request you to look into the matter and see that the computer starts at 8:00 am. so that i donot have to face this hardship.

            I think IRCTC is currupt. it gives chance to Agents to book the tatkal ticket online. normal person is not able to even login during 8 to 8:30 slot, even if you gets login bfore 8 A.M. your session will be expired at 8 A.M.
            Yes i m also in suppport of the complaint. irctc side doesn't open at 8. rather it opens by 0805 or later. or is that they would open the system at 0800 and it takes some time to get into work (only with irctc).
            its a true issue... ITS WELL KNOWN THAT THIS SITE IS RUNNING FOR THEIR BROKERS AND AGENTS WHO GAVE THEM GOOD AMOUNT OF COMMISSION... its not for common people... Its a cheating government site...

            i totally agree with all the complaints. and also a big complaint to MAMTA BANERJEE, the complaint is that now a days every train is running out of time. if the person is doing break journey in time gap of 6--7hrs then he is sure that he will lose the another train. coz now a days trains r running late in the average of 11--14hrs.
            in the lalu prasad yadav time the trains use to run on the time, but in the time of mamta banerjee the trains r out of time.

            I am unable to book the TATKAL ticket through irctc.co.in website in the morning between 8:AM to 8:30 AM. This is the problem all are facing, I think there is some tie up with the brokers or irctc is blocking the ticket for the agents...

            you are absolutely correct, this happens due to agent log in, irctc should take initiatives to help common people who uses website to book ticket.

            IRCTC Indian Railways — irctc not opening

            The Indian Railway's site is not working.. I am not able to open it.. I am trying to book a Tatkal Ticket on 19-April-2011 from 8:00 am onwards..but the site is not opening and a message "Service Unavailable is displayed....
            And there is no information regarding why this problem is happening??????
            Yes I support that it is not opening at my end in the morning 8-9,
            But for this month (May) even not opening for full day.
            IRCTC for tatkal scheme is just a mode of corruption for some persons. Scheme was good but its implementation is worthless. Higher authorities must do something for the benefit of common man manmohan nabha

            Indian Railways — About Opening IRCTC Site

            I am trying to reserve my Seat in Tatkal quota from last few day. But the Site is always showing me Service Unavailable from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and when the site open all the tatkal quota has been finished.This is the problem as same as before when the agents hacks the site and the normal Customer were not able to reserve their seat .

              AA) The refund against following PNRs not received after filing the TDR as train was late for more than 3 hrs
              27.01.2010, PNR no [protected] - no refund received till date.
              27.04.2010, PNR no [protected] & [protected] - only 50% refund received, which should have been full amount as train was late for more than 3 hrs.
              BB) Refunds are taking more than usual time on cancelled tickets also.

              I have filed TDR on 1 May 2010 against PNR # [protected]. The ticket was partially confirmed and could not travel with a minor chiled with a wait list tkt. I have wrote severel email to irctc care but did not get proper response. Most of the IRCTCs number are not reachable or out of order. The only number I able to connect is[protected], but according to them since SER zone is responsible for my refund they could not do any help. Please suggest HOW CAN I GET BACK MY HARD EARNED MONEY??

                Salaried Officers whose salary comes from our directly deducted TAX,
                IRCTC online website is a cheat website. Whenever you want to login during the opening time of website, the website is down. The whole train is booked (possible by black ticketers) and only after the wait list status comes, the website is up for common men like me. This is a definite scandal, as the website cannot be down everyday during opening hours
                If there are any Honest officers left in our country, who can investigate, please do so and help the common men get his facilities, who pays his taxes without saying a word

                Railway — cheating by railway officer

                dear sir,

                m nikhil from delhi, sir a offier from railway departmet has cheated money of cost near 13 lacks, with a promiss of that he will make candidates select in a railway department as a ticket collector, (he charged 1.5lacs from each person, n there are 8 person are there) for making us fool hw took fraud test to show thtat he is taking exam from railway department, he also provided fraud bank cheque to make perople belive thtat if they wont get selected by railway then they can widhraw money from bank, but when the fact came out then we came to know that thtat man has cheated with us, n now he is only promissing that he will give, today 2maro, but he is not giving,

                n he is about to take is reteirment n preparing for running away from country,

                in a couple of month he will get his retirment n will run away, we asked for help from everyone but no result is coming out,

                sir will u plz tell me how can we can get money from that railway officer(station suprident),

                Indian Railways — Fraud and cheating

                I had bitter experience of traveling in karnataka satkrani express (No-2650) New Delhi on 5th July 2009. the lunch which was expensive had 4 chapatis and some curry where only oil was visable and there was nothing else apart from a few small pieces of paneer. it was not cooked properly and the water provided with it was very warm. the price of the above mentioned lunch was 40 rs. i was surprised to see the degraded quality of the food, because everything which was being provided was smaller in size and low on quality. when all the passengers asked for the complaint book it was not provided but we were told to go to some guy n chill. when we complaint about it to the TC, they informed us that since there has been a change, the degraded food quality is becuase of the new Railway Minister...i hope a stern action is taken in this regard because so far i have never seen such low quality of food which is 1. without rice, 2, without curd, 3. without pickle and no veg but water and oil mixed. i will be thankful to the authorities and i believe this behavious will be taken care of. ..

                i am rohit from meerut and i tell you in meerut in every counter of reservation a agent is standing and open when open the window its give the minimun 10 farm to the tatkal reservation and clerk accept the form which is wrong becouse we do not our tatkal reservation. becouse when our number has come then all seats of tatkal has been fulled.

                so i can say you take the action.

                  Dear sir,

                  I travelled from Mumbai to Coimbatore on the 7th of May 2010.I was travelling with my 69 years old mother and I had 4 RAC tickets. My PNR was[protected]. My RAC ticket were RB2-47, RB2-47,RB2-55, RB2-55 and by coach no wAS 03101.
                  On getting into the train the TC for that route said that tickets were full and he would be able to help us if seats were available only after Karjat.

                  The new TC Mr C.S.Koli took over and then said that he would have to check and revert. But soon after Pune, he issued tickets to other passengers having unreserved local tickets by taking bribe uptill Solapur and did not give us seats. When I enquired again for seats he said there were no seats available. I asked him how he could issue tickets to local unreserved passenger when I had RAC to be confirmed. As he did not respond I asked him for the complaint book, which the railway authorities always propagate that it is always present in the train for passenger suggestions / complaints. On repeatedly asking him for the complaint book atleast 15-20 times which he kept on refusing he said to write the complaint on a piece of paper.
                  My mother,wife and daughter were travelling with me. They were at great inconvenience. When I found out that Mr Koli is cheating us of our seats for which e have paid one and a half month in advance and pocketing monetary compensation for those seats I was very agitated. I again asked him for the complaint book and told him that if he did not give me the complaint book I would pull the chain and bring the train to a halt. He paid no heed to me and hence I pulled the chain.
                  The train stopped. Mr Koli had the train started again without informing the guard / any other authority about the complaint. I pulled the chain.

                  Soon, one RPF person, Mr Wagh entered the train. Mr Koli gave his side of the story. Mr Wagh told me that I would have to get down. I refused and told him the matter. I told him also to hand over the complaint book to me but of no avail. None of the govt officers, Mr Koli or Mr Wagh did their duties. As a tax-paying citizen of this country, who has bought his tickets well in advance,if I request for a complaint book very politely to note down an injustice done to me is this how the government officer does his duty. As an individual fighting this injustice at 2a.m in the night with an old mother and wife and daughter please let me know what the railway authorities are doing to curb this menace of TCs' taking bribes and issuing tickets to passengers when people like us who have RAC are left unattended!!!

                  Just before Solapur, Mr gaikwad and one more officer from the RPF came to me with Mr koli. Ke told me that I would have to get down at Solapur and come to court and do the needful. I asked him as to where would my family go at Solapur, or is the train going to be halted till these formalities of complaints is completed. He did not have any answer. he said his duty was to produce me in court. He was doing his duty. I apprised him of the complete situation. Then I requested him to call his senior on his mobile.

                  At Solapur station his senior came and heard the entire story. He agreed that Mr koli was wrong but also told me that chain pulling for this reason was not valid. He asked me to write a complaint there. I wrote the details and gave my contact details to him and mentioned the same on the complaint letter but had to write it on a plain paper.

                  EVEN TILL THEN, I.E EVEN ON REACHING SOLAPUR I DID NOT GE THE COMPLAINT BOOK!!

                  I GOT THE TICKET CONFIRMED ONLY AFTER CROSSING BANGALORE IN THE NIGHT,8TH MAY!!

                  I am also fully agree with this, most of the TCS are doing these things, but this not a correct way.
                  Complaint is correct i just want to demand what a common man should do in such situations and if on pulling of chain one needs to be present in court and why a TC is left even after taking a bribe. Should we just except that all the govt officers are corrupted and only by bribing one can have his/her rights. if no, then i would certainly demand which officer or person has actually taken any action on this situation(n when i m saying action i meant something concrete). Why all the rules are just for the common man and not for the ones who are actually breaking them and using them for their own good.and then whats the use of having these forums and courts when they are tooo incapable of doing justice,
                  I also fully agree with this, most of the tc's are doing these things. common man never get justice in this country. If really common man get justice then they highlight that one or two incidents. But every common people should known minimum rights and should support such like incidents. its wrong with in our characters. Because we see cinema when things happen like this to other person and if one face the same situation asks for justice. I think this is natural justice by God, as long as no unity among common people. Good experience.

                    I am following this issue from last 45 days and IRCTC is asuring me that they have done ther work from ther end but still I have not received the ammount.

                    i haven't received the refund for the pnr number [protected]. there was

                    part cancellation but I haven't received the refund for Rs. 3830 cancelled on 22
                    March 2010. As per the telephonic duscussion with you about the refund which has been processed on 21 April 2010 has not been credited to my credit card. My card used for booking the ticket was [protected] and now the card has been updated to a new credit card number by citibank.

                    Please refund Rs. 3830 soon to my credit card and oblidge.

                      It has become a routine matter now which started around JUNE 2009. Whenever I have tried to open irctc online booking website(8.00 AM ONWARDS) the site never opens till all the tatakal berth are booked thru some other channels. If the railways wouldn't be able to ensure that website opens duly right from 8.00 AM itself then they should better display an announcement that the irctc website for online booking for TATKAL tickets won't be available till ALL TATKAL BERTHS are totally full. What is the use of offering this online facility if the website is sure to NOT OPEN no matter how continuously you try every day from 8.00 AM onwards. The website will open only after all berth have been booked. This happens daily and invariably. Any body can try this on any day he likes. Try this yourself. I have asked many of my friends to try this. Theey too experienced this frustration. What is this? Is there sonething deleberate or fishy about it so that the "agent" people are benefited on daily basis. Is it some kind of corruption somewhere at the ground level? Can the railways (Top Level) look into this, please!

                      Indian Railways — IRCTC website do not work for Tatkal Booking

                      The India Railways website never works when you want to book for tatkal tickets during the peak season. It has been my experience many times. Even though it is 8:05 am it will still say you can book only after 8 AM. Also the speed becomes useless. Only when the bookings are complete through the authorised and unauthorised travel agents, do you get to the website and till then it is already waiting list
                      If tatkal facility is only for travel agents and their commission, why do indian railways always say that it cares for the coommon people

                      You have to refresh the page after or at 8:00 AM.
                      If you have loaded page before that, then it does not work.

                      But still I agree that within 1 minute, how come all the tickets are booked for tatkal.

                      In my opinion, there should be an added advantage given to the people who are standing in the Queue for long time in the railway reservation counters. Otherwise people those don't have the computer literacy or computer at their home will suffer.

                      Suggestion : Remove Talkal option from online reservation or Restrict Online Talkal reservation only after 15-30 Minutes from 8 AM.

                      there is no way to send our such complaints to Raiway minister and in my opinion Top leve officer intentionally playing with site and making black money by selling TATKAL Tickets in Black.
                      I am trying my reservation from Jabalpur to Nizamuddin in Tatkal quota but the railway site is not working properly and railway people trying to divert me by saying you must be trying reservation before 8 am and not taking any action. Its always happened in morning and their reservation site irctc.co.in not working properly at all and all tatkal quota may be misused by few authorities for making money out of way. There site is not only slow its extremelyyyyyyyyyyy slow.You can see my browsing history which is self explanatory. I dont have any hobbey to complaint or to sit on there site for 3 hours. Still I am trying but of no use. Please make a news on this issue and ensure that this problem shold reach to Railway minister so as She can take action against guilty.

                      today i visited to the railway ticket counter (Paralakhemundi, distt:- Gajapati, Orissa) to make the ticket from PALASA to PATNA through onward ticket[2840-HWH MAIL(PALASA TO BHUBANESWAR)), 2838-PURI HWH EXP(BHUBANESWAR TO HOWRAH), 2303-POORVA EXP(HOWRAH TO PATNA)] but the person on the counter refuse to do so and told its technical problem. He is giving this excuse from last DURGA PUJA. when i asked for the complaint register then he start abusing and use slang word and start fighting with us. Sir i am the student and i am regularly facing this kind of problem, So i requesting you to please take serious action against the ticket maker on Paralakhemundi extension branch.

                        I am using frequently SBI IRCTC credit card for the last two years. But till now I am not advised the number of railway points earned by me. My telephonic inquiry with toll free number of SBI cards yeild no result. They just ask me to e mail to subhyatra and the email Id as given by them is "[protected]@irctc.co.in"When I sent the mail it is bouncing back.Can any one help me in getting the correct e mail id?Since 2 years i going to be completed, I want to utilise the points accumualted.

                            I Md. Quasid booked 5 E tickets Train No. & Name: 2318/Akal Takht Express (Date of booking-09-Dec-2009 8:25:43 PM, Date of Journey 25-Dec-2009)of A/C 3 tier from Jalandhar City to Sealdah from IRCTC through an agent by the name Cosmic Zone. The tickets remained unreserved (WL42/WL29, WL43/WL30, WL44/WL31, WL45/WL32, WL46/WL33). The rule says that if any ticket booked through IRCTC,s net booking remains unreserved till the time of Chart Preparation the passenger is regarded as ticket less and his amount is to refunded.We had to pay the charges alongwith penalties for being ticketless. It was the worst experience we ever had while travelling.

                            Till date our money Rs.6535.00 (Railway fare) and IRCTC Service charges Rs.40.00 has not been refunded. Whenever we approach the agent he shows us his record stating that IRCTC has not settled his accounts.

                            I would like to request you that five months is a long time and its high time we deserve justice along with a compensation for our sufferings.

                              I am a regular user of IRCTC..
                              I am observing some performance related issues in www.irctc.co.in website especially in the morning times (mostly between 8am -9 am).
                              Some times the site does not even open. I tried to book Tatkal train ticket.
                              But it failed ..and started depending on ticket broaker which they charge double of actual ticket fare.Please provide proper service to the users of irctc.
                              so that they will not depend on "Train ticket broakers" for tickets.
                              Hope you understand the problem. This is not a single person experience . i have heard the same complaint from many. I request you to please provide better service to the indian railway users.

                              Indian Railway-The world's largest railway networks comprising 115, 000 km-But as per Online Service of Reservation system is utterly failtured.. Worst IRCTC. Is this backend persons are not thinking about the customers..they are giving profits to Broakers, Booking clerks, third party agents, and referred people. Normal people will not able to book a single ticket in TATKAL. Worst Servers, Worst Speed, Waste of time in between the pages, particularly payment transaction - after completion of the payment-God will knows the Ticket is getting or not getting.. Is this Central Govt of India Service or Galli Authority carrying WEBSITE.. They don't maintain High end Server for difft regions... For the Banner ads they lakhs of amount.. But they don't take much care on development of the site.. Use the High end technology for the maintenance of Servers of IRCTC. Don't Use Retired people or Old people minds - Get more advanced skilled young generation ideas...! They never change the minds - Becaz their identity will loss. i.e., the Govt of India, Lazy Govt Employees, Lazy Railway Officials...

                                    I have booked a ticket for my mother from Renigunta to Secunderabad under Tatkal quota through IRCTC online ticket booking website.
                                    As per the refund rules, a TDR can be filed if train runs late by 3 hours or more. As the particular train got delayed by more than 3 hours on that day, I filed a TDR. However, IRCTC denied refund as the ticket was booked under Tatkal quota. I don't think it is fair on railways part to to escape by showing this reason. If train is delayed, every passenger suffers equally no matter under which quota they booked the ticket.

                                    This is my first experience, i was booked in sleeper class ticket (pearlcity super fast express date: 3.4.10) from madurai to chennai egmore. I would like to goto guindy but the train will not stop there. so i get down in mambalam stop and ask railway police man which train should I catch to goto gindy, he shows one train and I immediately catch that train. But I realize that was not correct train so, I desided to get down to the next stop (saidapet) and catch the correct train. meanwhile ticket checker ask me to show ticket. I sown my ticket (madurai to chennai egmore) He ask me to pay 500 rs for fine because of ticket is not valid (wrong route). I say this is not my fault sir, the railway police wrongly suggest me thats why i traveled this train. he will not accept me and ask (begged me)250 rupees. I have not 250 rupees so, he ask me to put my luggage in TTR room. Then i wen to ATM and through the amount to the beggar. They are not TTR purely beggers.
                                    நான் சென்னைல் இருந்து ராமேஸ்வரம் வரை சென்றுகொண்டிருந்தபோது ஏற்பட்ட அனுபவம். நான் ரிசர்வேசன் கோட்டாவில் இருந்தேன், சிலபேர் ஜெனரல் டிக்கெட் வைத்து கொண்டு வந்தார்கள் அவர்களை கண்டவுடன் TTR உடனே அடுத்த ஸ்டாப்பில் இறங்கி விடுமாறு கத்தினார். ஆனால் பிச்சைஎடுபவர்களும், அராவாநிகலையும் அனுமதிப்பது யார்? அவர்களிடம் காசு (பிச்சை) வாங்கிகொண்டு விட்டு விடும் TTR. இந்த மாதிரி கேவலமான செயல்களை இந்திய TTR ஆள் மட்டுமே முடியும். கேவலம் கேவலம்.

                                      I have booked one train ticket for May 04,2010 from Chennai Central to Aluva through IRCT Online Booking. Now I cannot see the Booked History and Cannot cancel the Ticket. I want to cancel this ticket as I am not travelling tomorrow.

                                        IRCTC — delay in refund

                                        Dear sir,

                                        This is my PNR No [protected] which i had filled that the "train is running more than 3 hours" and i have filled on 29 sept 09 ,but as per rules the refund of money is 90 days and it had over almost but not yet recieved the money so please file the complaint on IRCTC and SWR(south western railways)..

                                        IRCTC — IRCTC refund process delay

                                        Hi,

                                        I had raised TDR complaint in IRCTC website on 05-Oct-09 for the PNR ticket numbers [protected], [protected].

                                        The issue was, the train has been diverted through different route as there were floods in the actual train route. So, we could not able to get into the train due to this. When we asked the reservation counter at Dharmavaram station, they mentioned that it needs to be cancelled only through IRCTC website. So, immediately we raised this complaint.

                                        It has been almost more than 6 months till now, the money has not been refunded. When we followed up with the IRCTC, they were mentioning that they did not get the refund till now from railways.

                                        Sir, please guide how can we proceed further to get my refund.

                                        I have booked an e-ticket from irctc the website of indian railways on[protected] from Kurseong(KGN) to Darjeeling (DJ) having PNR No "[protected]" & Transaction ID "[protected] " for date of journey on[protected] from my own account of PNB, Dehradun.The train name and No. 1D/NJP DJ NG TRAIN. The total amount of the ticket was Rs. 164/ (Ticket charge Rs.154 + Internet service charge Rs. 10/-) .
                                        It was confirm tictet.
                                        My ticket had been assigned an ID of [IRCTC #1762299]
                                        My family mentally and financially suffered due to getting confirmed ticket on[protected] and reaching there from Dehradun(Uttarakhand). But there was no train available for the last many days.
                                        I request you to facilitate reimbursement and compensation to me as per legal right.
