I ordered a Creative Zen Stone Plus with speakers(#[protected] which is an mp3 player with built in speakers to be delivered to my brother as a birthday gift in April. He received the older version of the player without built in speakers! I complained immediately to take back the product but instead after 2 weeks of complaining they sent separate big speakers! The point of a small mp3 players is to listen to music anywhere without lugging around speakers.

After 1.5 months of mails, calls and even visiting their office(I am lucky enough to stay near their office in Bangalore), they picked up both the outdated player and speakers, again it took 5 weeks for them to respond saying the product appeared used. The first representative said there were mp3 songs on it but no scratches. The second rep said there were some scratches and the third rep said there ere many scratches. It took them 5 weeks to scratch the product! what incompetence...the product is now not available on the website...it is clear that the lack of stock has forced them to lie that the product has been used even though it has not been and send me an out dated product. I intend to follow this issue up in the consumer court soon unless i recieve my money back.

In continuation to your communication to our customer service, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to cancel this order for Creative 2 GB Mp3 Player Zen Stone Plus With Speaker. Please find the case history and the reason for the same.

We have shipped the correct ordered item Creative 2 GB Mp3 Player Zen Stone Plus and later we have sent the Speakers. After the delivery of the Creative 2 GB Mp3 Player Zen Stone Plus you came back claiming you thought the item would be with inbuilt speaker and you want to return back the item.



1. As per our returns policy Electronics item does not come under No Question Asked return policy.



We have taken a exception towards your satisfaction and we instructed our pickup partner Elbee courier to pickup the item from consignee. We knew that item was sent as gift and it might be a problem for the consignee to ship back the item. We have taken little longer to arrange the pickup and we apologize for the same.



2. As per our returns policy you need to send the item in unopened condition to get the refund.



We have received consignment in properly packed condition and without any tampering / external damage. On opening the package the item it is found in opened and used condition with lot of scratches on the item.


This item is not in condition to be sold as a new item and we do not sale any second hand product. Cancellation of the order means a total lose of the item cost for the company. Hence, we will not be able to cancel your order and refund can not be made.


As per your instruction, we have shipped back the item to your Bangalore address on 17th July 09 through DTDC courier consignment # B55063208. It was delivered to you on 18th July 09.


We will ensure that we provide better service to you in future. Please feel free to write to us for any issues with your future purchases and we will be glad to assist you.

    I had placed an order for 170 Ltr Videocaon Refridgerator on July 1, 2009. There website mentions delivery time of 7 days and couple of days after placing the order was showing that product would be delivered by July 9. They did not inform me about any process their end. I called them in between and they confirm the delivery date of July 9, 2009. However I did not get the product by July 9. Even till july 10, their website was showing status as will be delivered by July 9. When I called to follow-up they told me that they have some internal issue with vendor and therfore its delayed, but will be shipped within 2 days. I again called them on satuday and again I was promised delivery date of July 14, i.e. today. However nothing has happened. I again called and now they are saying it will be delivered within a week. This is the second time they have failed to meet committment. They give false committments and promises and never fulfill them. I have wasted so much time and money with efforts to follow up, but nothing seems to be working. I have asked them to deliver some other comparable model if the original model is not available, but they are not doing that and asking me to wait. Plz help, otherwise I believe otherwise they will take long time to deliver the product and keep on doing false promises.

    My Name is Blessen Cherian. i had a very bad experience with INDIAPLAZA.IN website. I had purchased few items from the website and first everything had come as they promised and now its almost 15 days and the items had never shipped. My almost 4000 Rs, is with them from past this much days. I had complained 3 times and always they promise they will contact the seller and i dont know whats happening? Please help me in this and i recommend others please don't buy items from them because there service is poor. The following are the details to check is it correct?

    Thanks for the update Bhupendra. I also faced some issues with Indiaplaza sometime back, recently they called me up, solved my earlier complaints and also helped me shop again for a book. I ordered The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown and got it in 24 hours. They seem to be coming back to their earlier high standards of customer service and that is good for consumers.

      I have kept online orders with http://shopping.sify.com/ for 2 products but i have received one wrong product and another i didn't receive till now. I spoke to them many times and they are not responding with the correct information. Is it possible to take the necessary action against them. It seems this website is a fake and they might cheating with all customers like this. Some one should need to take the proper action for this else many consumers will face the same issue. Any proper action against this company will be highly appreciated.

        I have ordered few books through indiaplaza. It seems that they have charged more shipping charges. To ask for clarification I sent a mail to their Customer Service. But they never seem to have a satisfactory response for any question.

        All they ask for is time. They make promises for email replys and call backs but they never stick to them. I have never seens a worst customer care service by any company in any field.

        I would suggest people not use order anything from IndiaPlaza. They may advertise flashy offers but their service is so poor that you will think why you ordered anything from this worthless site.

        I have ordered books on Indiaplaza since 1999. I have had a over all good experience. They have been instances where they was delay in delivery and book was cancelled. But overall, they are good. The pricing is great and now they are offering free shipping. I recommend this site.

        After much persuation from Indiaplaza I tried their services again. They even provided me a gift voucher of Rs 250. I must say that they din't disappointed me this time. The service was good and timely.

        my last order IN[protected] was cancelled and i ask for refunds due to the behaviour of INDIAPLAZA people as they did not deleiverd my shipment of mobile even after the regular reminders.. again they people started giving dates and dates for my new order #IN[protected].Eery time they ask for appology after giving dates.         INDIA PLAZA — Worst service

        i have booked some of the items on india plaza and my order status says that it has been shipped but when i tryied contacting them they are not responding to the complants, and when i contacted the courier service they say that the booked items has been shipped to bangalore and this was the address given by indiaplaza.istead of delvering those items to hyderabad they delivered to bangalore and now they are not responding to the complants and neither of them are coming forward to solve the issue.
        i would like none of you to use this service but if you want to have a go at it, then be prepared for all sorts of problems.
        its not for the first time this has happen to me its 2-3 time but i dont have any other way since my booked order was cancelled i had to use the amount which i paid.
        but i request you all not to go for this kind of poor and worst service.
        i placed a order on 14th august after sending many reminders about status today i have been informed through sms that due to no stock we could not send the cargo it is 20th day today . it looks like they have many items displayed in website which they dont have stock so beware

          All,
          I booked a mobile phone from Indiaplaza on 27th of April, paid the amount through my ICICI bank account. The site mentioned seven days to ship the Phone(By 5th May). And it's the 6th May and the status of item is "will be shipped by 5th May" - No communication nothing from the company.

          I mailed them, again - no response, called up the customer care[protected] in the 'prescribed' 9.30 -6 PM time; nobody is picking up the phone either. After many attempts the executive picks up and says the item is out of stock and will take 2 days to procure and send. The 2 day time does not include today and the expected date.. So in effect it's 4 days+.

          Guess what, they are still showing the same phone in the site, that means they are still selling it. But not to me.

          Stay away from Indiaplaza, it's run by a non-professional management and a bunch o[censored]seless vendors. Prefer ebay any day. The sellers on ebay care about the reputation and feedback each one of you give.

          Stay away from indiaplaza.in (And it’s afflicates like bsbazaar, manorame emart etc.. All those boast powered by Indiaplaza

          Indiaplaza. In — horrible service

          This Amazon.com wannabee used to be called Fabmall.com last year. I have been trying to send gift certificates from this company to my family in New Delhi for the last 3 weeks. They displayed great urgency in validating and charging my credit card but then seem to have forgotten about my order. Each time you email their so called customer service dept., a different person replies to you. I still don't know if my order has been delivered to my family and I don't want to check with my family since it is a surprise gift.
          Stay away from Indiaplaza.in or whatever they will call themselves next. Their service is atrocious and they just ignore your complaints. I deeply regret giving these folks my credit card info!!!

          www.indiaplaza.in - online store — Fraud - not refunding your money

          We purchased a very expensive digital camera after assurances that it was a brand new camera in a factory sealed box. When we received it, the camera pack was already opened and the basic power cord to charge the battery itself was missing. Instead of a factory warranty card, we got a sloppy vendor typed letter saying they will service for 1 year if anything goes wrong. We were very unhappy that after paying so much and checking with them specifically before purchasing, they sent something that was not a fresh factory sealed piece. So we complained and they offered a refund. They sent a courier to pick it up a week later who picked up and left saying they will process refund after they recieve the goods back. It has been more than 3 weeks since they picked up and they still havent refunded the money. Everytime we call they keep saying they will initiate the cancellation and refund in 2-3 days. They never call us. We call and remind, they repeat the same thing. We are very frustrated about this.
          If we don't recieve an immediate refund, please suggest how to file a formal legal complaint in the court.
          I have similar experience. I ordered for a Nikon digital SLR camera and got a used camera repackaged again (not with original packing material, but bits and pieces of thermocole). There was no original user manual (only an illegible xerox copy was enclosed). No warranty card from the manufacturer. A so called "limited warranty" from an unknown vendor located at Lamington road, Mumbai. This warranty does not even mention the camera and lens serial numbers.
          My order for 2 Tata Sky Recharge Voucher worth Rs. 500 each was placed on 3rd May and was supposed to be sent to me by e-mail in 24 hours. Order Number :[protected].

          I have not received the same yet and I already have the feeling that shopping with Indiaplaza was a mistake. This was the 1st time I shpped with them.

          The money is already debited from my credit card account.

          Indiaplaza say they have not received the money whereas ICICI bank says they have settled the transaction. I don't know who is the liar but my money is stuck.

          I also cancelled the order but still have not received my money back after 3 weeks.

Repeat complaint to customer care is also not taken care everytime they keep on saying we are looking into matter and we need 3 more days. Its more than 20 days now and items are not delivered.

          I would request all peoples here to be careful and do not place any order with Indiaplaza. I will publish this news wherever possible and also pull them in court.

          IndiaPlaza.in — Non delivery of items

          Stay clear of www.indiaplaza.in, if you don't want to loose your money or sleep. I have ordered for a Nokia Bluetooth headset which was promised to be delivered within 5 days. It is now over 3 months and in spite of innumerable phone calls and e-mails they have not only not delivered the item, but have not refunded the money as well.

          These guys at fabmall are thiefs... They must be banned from internet trading for their malpractices. I wonder why they are still in business given their pathetic track record.

          As for experiences, well I have had the same as the above poster on three occassions with minor differences, however now I have learned my lesson and there is no way I would repeat this mistake.

          I have sone online shopping for a leather wallet from Indiaplaza.in. The order was approved after the company received the payment. The product has not been delivered yet despite a lapse of 1 month. They are saying that the product has been handed over to Elbee Courier Services, but i've not received it.           India Plaza - Books — Non _ Delivery

          I have ordered books order number #[protected] on the 3rd of October - but not been delivered till date.

          I have contacted their customer service several times and get blatant lies saying they will deliver it today this is going on for the past 3-4 days.

          The customer service also suggested - I call up Elbee their partners to know the status - What cheeck

          Be aware placing orders with India Plaza - your goods will not be delivered - or might have to waste time calling them up

          Indiaplaza. In / Sony Cybershot Dsc H50 — Products are supplied from Grey market

          As a part of Citibank promotion, I purchased Sony Cybershot DSC H50 Camera online from Indiaplaza.in, order number#[protected]

          Sony Cybershot DSC H50 shipped to my address was not received in proper box packing. The seal was already open and the thermacol packing inside was cut into pieces. This gives a sense that it is a used product. Moreover the vendor N.R Infotech, from where the invoice was generated, informed that this is not genuine piece and is from grey market.

          There is no warranty / Guaranty card inside the box. Moreover the serial number on the box and on camera do not match. No proper invoice is issued i.e. no serial number mentioned in it.

          After exchange of serveral emails, they are not willing to refund the amount but forcing for a replacement because the "Product is of HIGH VALUE"

          I need assistance for getting my money back from Indiaplaza. Please advice how can i proceed further.

          IndiaPlaza.in — Item never received

          Here is my story

          I ordered a box of chocolates for my friends wedding. Its been more than 2 months now I haven’t received them. I emailed their customer service like 100 times. Every time I got reply saying they will look into it and get back to me after 2 days. Those 2 days never happened in their lifetime I guess.

          After writing a furious email finally they replied me saying they have a proof that their courier service has actually delivered it. After asking for that proof they just scanned and sent me some random courier paper where in nowhere my name or my address was mentioned. That proof was showing that it was sent to somebody else and received by somebody else. Not even my city name. Totally somewhere else. When I asked for why did they send this proof again the responses started saying "WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU IN 2-3 DAYS" :))))

          I finally lost my hope and decided and my money went to some charity. Never ever think of buying something from them.

          I ordered 2 sarees. one arrived but the other one being out of stock they suggested an alternative saree and I accepted that offer but no saree and no explanation, all together no more replies to my emails.asked them to refund the balance in my account to my bank account from where the money was drawn. No replies whatever.

          Indiaplaza. In — Product not delivered - pathetic response Don't shop at Indiaplaza

          I am a gold customer of Indiaplaza. They are turning in a pathetic performance. Not sure how this forum is going to help me. Placed an order in end jan for CD Roms - part recieved the consignment and I lodged a complaint.
          I have been calling them and writing to them ever since . The 600 odd rupees does not seem to be coming..
          Every time I call or write there is a new person, so the story has to be repeated. The next time i call, I actually pity the person who is going to take my call.

          This is really aweful, I will never look at indiaplaza to buy anything from Indiaplaza, Now i know why the hold the cheap price tag, never had to deliver the item.. Ha ha

          Oh man, another one from Indiaplaza, I can't understand why people go there to buy
          I have been shopping at Indiaplaza (earlier these guys were Fabmall.com) for a few years now. I must have placed at least 20 orders and got good products delivered on time. In a couple of cases when there was some issue, their customer service people resolved it.

          Some of my friends also shop regularly there and I heard if they face any issues they escalate to their CEO (email id on their website) who replies immediately and takes action. Maybe you can try this if you face problems.
          I have been buying books from Indiaplaza regularly and never faced problems. Not sure about other products though, never tried. But for books, they are the best.
          I have ordered mobiles from Indiaplaza and got it on time. Recently, I bought a Blackberry at amazing discount and am very happy. I think you should try to escalate to their CEO and see if your problem can be resolved. These guys are good
          I use Indiaplaza to send flowers and gifts for festivals like Diwali, Rakhi etc. They always deliver on time. Sometimes, if they miss the date, they make up by sending complimentary cookies and also refunding the money. These things happen, but their customer service is really good.

          IndiaPlaza.in — Pathetic service

          I bought a children's laptop from the site in March 09.
          Received the item after 1 MONTH.

          It was defective, hence called them up and sent it back on April 1st, 09.

          Now it has been more than a month.

          They have not sent the item back.

          I call up, and get the answer : it will come in 4-5 days.
          Even in emails, same answer.

          Very bad experience.

          The issue is closed and here's how..

          On 7th I check the site and it says the shipment will happnen on 17th and that too not sure, cos they were to source from another vendor( Aparently the site showed the same item on 7th as well).

          The customer care person asked if I would like to cancel the order, I said yes and the refund came in 5-6 days.

          So that was a happy ending to the story, I'm happy that they made the refund on time.

          How did I buy the product ? Went to a shop at Kandivali (W), there are a few near the station and got the product at 200 Rs less than what I was in indiaplaza.

          Indiaplaza. In / Sony Ericcson W300i — Refusal to honor warranty, No Courtesy or Regard

          Before I begin to tell my story, let me say that I have been a loyal customer of Indiaplaza for more than 6 years and this is the first time I ever had to contact their customer service and the experience is indescribable.

          I had purchased a Sony Ericcson W300i phone for my brother as a Birthday Gift for about Rs. 5600 in Feb. 2008 from Indiaplaza.in, however, last month the microphone of the telephone ceased to function making the phone unusable. We contacted SONY INDIA but they said that SONY does NOT provide any kind of warranty for its products that are SOLD ONLINE. This was discovered after my brother had to waste one full day of work to visit SONY's service center in Mumbai and had to wait in a long queue just to discover this. Needless to say, this was a shocking experience as Indiaplaza's product description clearly mentioned that the product came with ONE YEAR OF MANUFACTURER WARRANTY.

          We conveyed this to Indiaplaza hoping to get a clarification on how they were selling something with a warranty that was not even being recognized by SONY INDIA. Instead of telling the entire sob-story, I would like to say that I have made almost 10 Phone calls to Indiaplaza's customer care located in Bangalore to no avail. I have no clue what kind of people they have employed.

          Their customer care reps have FAILED to even understand the issue after about 10 phone calls from me and about 7-8 from my brother. The service reps keep offering to send a receipt or a warranty card despite out repeated requests that SONY INDIA has already refused to honor WARRANTY regardless of anything. The rep we spoke to whose name I will not mention, has repeatedly PROMISED that a supervisor will call my brother back in Mumbai with a resolution, however, after false promises for about a week, NO ONE has yes returned the phone call and we have to call them each day about why NO ONE is contacting us.

          Let me make it clear that I have to wake up at 5 AM (which i do anyhow) in order to make the call to them before they shut down operations at 6 PM IST.

          Despite several emails, we keep receiving a poorly composed reply with promises that they are looking into the issue. I am really appalled at the whole issue and despite emailing a bunch of other people including their COO, Vaitheeswaran, I have not received any thing promising. Indiaplaza has constantly refused to hear our please to either replace the phone or repair it.

          I have sent them a final email advising that a case will be filed in Consumer Court for breach of trust and dishonoring the terms of purchase. I am hoping to receive good news before I am forced to take this extreme step.

          MORAL OF THE STORY: Stay Miles Away from INDIAPLAZA. Their Management and Customer Care both are HIGHLY INCOMPETENT and need to take a lesson from companies like Infibeam.com and Flipkart.com where customer services exceeds all known benchmarks. All of your customer care representatives have failed to show an courtesy or meet the minimum level of service that your company claims to offer on its website. After only a few months, a Rs 6000 worth of phone has turned into a lemon and your company has blatantly REFUSED to even listen to the issue.

          You sold a product that SONY INDIA has REFUSED to honour the warranty on, as numerous of my emails listed below (along with an email from SONY INDIA) have mentioned. Your representatives ARE NOT reading emails and NOT listening to us on the phone. I have made ABOUT 10 phone calls from USA to your Banagalore customer care office at 5AM, however, all in vain.

          If your company has anyone competent at a superior level, I request that he/she give either me or my brother Yogesh (to whom the phone was shipped) a call back.

          Our final step will be to file a Case in Consumer Court by next week against INDIAPLAZA for breach of trust and dishonoring the terms of purchase.

          I wish to place on record my experience with Indiaplaza. The first time I used their service, was for ordering the book The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. This was a pre publication offer, which was promptly shipped to my address as promised, without any delay. However, that experience has been neutralised by the subsequent experience. I beacme a member of their book club. When I wanted to redeem their gift certificate, by ordering a book, I'm yet to get a proper response. I have mailed them twice. Three times, they issued a Customer care ticket. Each time, they have not been able to resolve the issue. Initially they said, I have not placed the order. When I replied, to treat the complaint as an order for the book, they wanted to know thorugh which account, I had placed the order!!! Each time the response to my compalint ticket is " closed " as per their wbsite. How they are closing these complaints, without resolving the complaint is anybody's guess. I have a feeling, they employ to take care of Customer Service complaints. As mentioned by many, their customer Service phone number, I think is unmanned. When you ring, you get a continuous ringtone. No One picks the phone. Should I thank my stars for getting my first order on time? Or should I blame myself for falling for their advertisments in the print media of reputed newspapers.

          Indiaplaza. In — Non-Delivery, Pathetic Customer Service, Cheats

          This has to be the worst online shopping portal in the world.

          I had ordered two DVD games, worth about Rs. 1800 on Nov 4th 2009.

          Order no.[protected] initial estimate was that it would be shipped by 9th of Nov.

          I opened a customer service ticket on the 9th evening, asking by when will this order be shipped. The reply of the note came on the 11th:

          "Dear Mr.Siddhartha Gupta,

          I apologize for the delay caused in shipping the items against your order. Kindly provide us another 2 days time to check with our suppliers and have your items shipped. We will update the tracking details once the order is shipped."

          So Indiaplaza didnt even have the items in-stock, but this information wasnt shared when i was placing the order. Anyhow, since they were just games, i simply replied to the ticket with my surprize why Indiaplaza would take orders of items they didnt have in-stock, and waited.

          11th came and went, no reply on my open ticket. The Indiaplaza.in website doesnt exactly advertise its 'Customer Service' phone number openly on the portal. I had to go into Help, then FAQs, then search - to find a number to call.

          I called on the 13th - the agent after taking my details, first says that actually the items werent in stock, but will be by 14th. I lodged a complaint with him, sharing my displeasure at this 'online shopping experience' and requested that he please update me if the order is being processed or not. He assured me it would be shipped on the 14th, the open ticket would be replied to and i would be updated once the items were shipped.

          Its Monday the 16th - i got no response from Indiaplaza.in, hence called them again - this time the agent STARTS the conversation with 'Actually these items WERE available, but NOW theyre NOT available, shall i go ahead and cancel your order!?' - this is the most disgraceful shopping website.

          After wasting 12 days theyre telling me to cancel the order.

          Theyre cheats and unprofessional - i shouldve read all the consumer complaints and realized what a nightmare this lying outfit is. Now i will wait for the cancellation.

          Whatever happened to the quick, easy and efficiency of online shopping - they want to be the next Amazon, but are a disgrace - i see so many complaints. All aggreviers chose to do nothing because individually its trivial amounts - but i bet this website collectively cheats the populations for Crores in a year.

          You have been warned, i will surely never use this pathetic portal - you should think twice too.

          The above mentioned Order No. has four (04)items, but I have received a couriered parcel which contained only three(03)nos of DVDs viz., "ISLAND", "HERCULES" & "IDENTITY" along with a Cash Memo No. 36020 which also shows only three DVDs as noted above. The DVD for movie "HOLIDAY" is missing in the consignment the price for which was already been paid in advance and included in the total Order Value of Rs 1572.00 paid vide Credit Card. Subsequently, I received a SMS from India plaza that " all 4 out of 4 items shipped".However, I received only three DVDs as noted above.
          I registered complaint vide above Ticket No. on the website and got SMS on 11.02.2010 FROM WEBSITE THAT MY " will be responded by 13.02.2010.
          Thereafter, I went on resubmitting query against the "TICKET"& repeated it 3-4 times till 17.02.2010 but till now the website remained totally silent and the Complaint ticket shows status as "OPEN".
          Please arrange to look into this and help ne out in resolving the issue by arranging the missing DVD at the earliest.

          Received a product on 08.04.2010

          The box was not company seal packed. On the company box its written "Made in japan". Inside on the product its written "Made in China". Seams like the product inside the box has been opened and changed.

          On contacting customer care, Vathsala said that the product would be picked up and replaced. But till today (after 40 days) no one has come for replacement. Moreover the customer care dept is not responding now.

          The binoculars are of poor quality and not upto mark and they strain eyes on use. They can harm eyes.

          India Plaza, Largest On Line Shopping — Non receipt of ordered and paid Article.

          I ordered 3 articles viz. Kingston 8 GB Pen drive, Glucose Monitor and Citzen Digital Blood Presure Monitor at a Cost of Rs. 3081/= including packing and shipping Charges. The Order No. was 10749. Out of the three itms, items 1 & 2 were delivered to me correctly. Item 3 B.P. Monitor has not been delivered to me though approximately 2 months have elapsed. On several Querries with the Company they gave me a No. AWB [protected] of ARAMEX Couriers and on enquiry from the Couriers it turned out to be that of the Pen Drive which has been delivered to me on April 4th, 2010. It is obvious that they have either failed to send the item or the Courier delivered only one item instead of two. I stay alone in my address and the article has not been delivered to me. If the company assures that the article has been delivered let them prove that to whom it has been delivered.           It has been 144 hours (6 days) since their internet response but no sign of either the order delivery or a refund.
          I have re-queried twice after that with no response. They never pick up their helpline phone. Once somebody picked up but hung up without uttering a single word. The ironic part is that the query is still open and says "This query is still open and is expected to close by 24/07/2010"

          I am tired of the kind of service Indiaplaza.in provides these days. I have been a regular customer with these people. And I have spend a lot shopping from their website. I dread the way they might be treating their 'not so regular' customers if this is how they treat their regulars.

          Big time cheaters! I placed 3 different orders with Indiaplaza.in. One item (boom box Order IN[protected]) was cancelled after 40 days after many follow-ups saying that the item is out-of-stock! No interest paid back to me!

          Another item of same order (Rhymes CD - Order IN[protected]), as per the site was shipped but I never got it! After 2.5 months and many follow-ups they said the courier company could not ship it and the package went back! When I shouted at them, they simply cancelled the order!

          Another item (Fisher Price toys) was in ready-to-ship status for 15 days and when I demanded them, they said they cannot ship the item and cancelled it.

          I feel so cheated by this company. They sell items that they cannot ship. I am soooo frustated and helpless. How can I stope others from getting cheated? I am very frustated with this site. Can I take legal action?

          I would like to file complaint against Indiaplaza.in. Last month I ordered Rakhi and gifts via their site on Aug 13th and paid 381 via my credit card. On their site they guranteed that rakhi and gift items will be delivered before rakhi day even if its ordered on Aug 21. I got the confirmation on August 17th that my product has been shipped. Since, it was Gjazaiad (Noida), I thought it would hardly take 1-2 days to reach there. But to my surprise it din't reached to the address even till today. I complaint online on their site 3 times but with no reply and action. Just an sms that it will be resolved and answered in 24 hrs. But they din't care to even reply. If it was usual shopping thing, I wouldn't have mind it but it destroyed all the happiness of rakhi, I would really like to file case against them especially when they don't have courtesy to even reply to the complaints.           Hello, I have ordered a gift to be delivered to my niece on her birthday. It has not reached on time and no feedback to my email id. It was highly embarrassing to check with them several times. After a week, I managed to chat with them online. I have never encountered such a poor quality of service on internet.

          Problem described by customer service: post code of the location not in service.
          This pin code is within Coimbatore district and that is listed in the website. When asked about this, there is no inclination to respond. Here is the transcript - brutally the conversation was closed. They were busy servicing the valentine day customers.

          India Plaza Online — Miscommunication and cheating

          I booked for delivery of flowers on indiaplaza and then asked them to deliver it on 16th instead of 15th. I was told that is not possible so they would cancel my order - Bangalore contact centre. I was also told that the confirmation would come through mail.

          I waited for an hour and then again called up.. I was told that the order was cancelled and the money would be refunded in a week"s time.

          I am disgusted and surprised to see responses saying that for the same order it was recd by two different people at the place - ( suspicious response)

          It tantamounts to cheating when after confirming that they have cancelled they deduct the money and claim delivery..unfair/ mis communication can be avoided by proper training at the contact centre.

            Hi,

            I had good trust on Indiaplaza and shopped regularly with Platinum membership.
            To my dismay my trust was broken with a faulty product.
            I found myself cheated. :( The mobile which I shopped was mutilated and shipped with duplicate parts.

            I bought a mobile Sony Ericsson K790i With one year warranty.
            My order number was[protected]. When I received the mobile the box was open So I informed Indiaplaza and also made a call to the vendor whose number I found on the invoice. JD COM[protected].
            He said me that for warranty purpose he had put the seal so it was unpacked.

            I trusted him and said fine.
            Now after several months I faced a problem with mobile camera so stepped into the sony ericsson service centre with the bill to claim warranty.
            They opened the mobile infront of me and found that display was a local product and wasn't original. I blasted them badly, how come it can be duplicate when first time I am coming for service after I bought it new . That person showed me the display and it is duplicate. :(

            They refused to service my mobile under warranty.
            As per my request I got the letter from the Service centre that display of the mobile is duplicate.

            I handed over the mobile and service rejection letter to J.D which is situated in Nungambakkam, Chennai. He kept my mobile to investigate and returned me back after 15 days. He din't take any action. moreover din't return the letter of rejection which I got from service centre.

            I went to another service centre and got a new letter which I attached and sent to Indiaplaza.
            I never expected such a cheat .I emptied my wallet for a good mobile and not for any second hand assembled one hence I complained indiaplaza in Feb 09 and after 2months they called me and left unattended. Gautam, team lead called me and just took support of their vendor J.D COM . They don't care for customer's grievance.

            I am helpless :(

            Kindly help me in this regard.

            I have ordered few items from Indiaplaza just because it was showing that items will be delivered in 2 working days. Its almost 15 days and there is no response .Site is showing that items are shipped on 1st Jan whereas I have ordered the item on 2nd of July.So Indiaplaza ships your item 6 months in advance to your actual request but item will be delivered to you in next 6 months or may be 6 years or may be not. Pathetic site ...
            Never shop through Indiaplza. go for Indiatimes or sify or rediff.

              I haven't received the Books ordered by me even after more than 2 weeks of placing the order when the usual shipping time mentioned along with the product is 3 working days.

              Please don't use indiaplaza for any kind of transaction. They are neither delivering the product not refunding the amount.

              IndiaPlaza's customer care is worst I have ever seen, they just say that please wait for 2-3 days.

              i purchased tata sky vouchers worth rs 1000 from indiaplaza.in on 20/4/08. it was promised on site that i will receive the coupan numbers via email within 24 hrs but even after 50 hrs have passed i havent received any email from them. due to nonpayment my tatasky is disconnected & i m facing a lot of problem. i even made a std call to bangalore in their main office but after making me hold for around 5 min i got the reply that their system is slow so they cant help me right now. kindly guide me regarding further action against them.

                I had ordered and received a 'Black & Decker 4 Cup Coffee Maker- DCM55' under the order # 10442 (BB[protected]) from BSBAZAAR in Jan 2009. However the piece was having a defective thermostat, and hence I called BSBAZAAR.COM wherein I was told that the same would be picked up and repaired/ replaced. On the 10th of March the said item was picked up by ELBEE Courier. Since then I have been interacting with customer support and have been given multiple deadlines, however the same has still not been sent back. I was promised a refund if the same was not delivered by first week of April by a senior customer care executive (on email), but now they have asked for one more week for delivery.
                The customer support has been very unprofessional, has NEVER called back, & have been giving repeated deadlines for delivery without fulfilling any of the them. I have interacted with a number of their senior staff including Nandita, Rashmi etc. however the said item has not been delivered.
                BSBAZAAR is just a front end for Indiaplaza (even the customer support email is [protected]@indiaplaza.in). I would suggest that other customers learn from my experience and avoid shopping at either of these websites.

                I have had poor experience with the customer support at Indiaplaza. I am surprised that a newspaper like Business Standard (owner of Bsbazaar) has associated with such a poorly managed website.

                  I ordered novels, Ordered Number [protected] on 18th March 2009. The status showed Shipped on 21st March and after few days I was told that there is some problem with the courier and they are trying to follow it. After few more days of calling and enquiring they told me that product is not available and they are cancelling it.

                  Again the cancellation request was taken on 30th March and later they informed me that it was cancelled on 03rd Apr 09. At all the times they never informed the status to me, it was always me who was calling and asking for an update.

                  Inspite of calling customer care many times and communicating through email, I haven't received any satisfactory response from them till now. Many times they even promised to call back me with an update which they din't.

I also faced some issues with Indiaplaza sometime back, recently they called me up, solved my earlier complaints and also helped me shop again for a book. I ordered The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown and got it in 24 hours. They seem to be coming back to their earlier high standards of customer service and that is good for consumers.

                    I had purchased an emergency lentern for Rs895/- Nippon brand which is supposed to give 8W - 7 hrs light but they had sent some Chinese product worth Rs 50/- . It has already been 3 weeks since I am chasing them but neither they are replacing nor refunding the amount. There is one Mr. Sangmeswaran who replies but always tells a lie just to pass time.

                    I am just writing for the informed customers who purchases things after firing all related querries before buying anything on Internet so that this complaint can warn him/her.

                    I ordered for the nikon 10.0 megapixel camera about 60 days ago and as per the contract the [protected]@indiaplaza was supposed to fulfill its contract by 12 days and eventoday the company has failed to fulfill its committement to its customers. The amount was adjusted through the credit card for which I am paying the interest @24 pc /annum. The correspondence do not yield any result. The cheating company it is and the people who are managing this company is a group of big cheaters. because the group has prmoted by "THE HINDU" for whom I have highest respect. Now I have determind to go for consumer forum for claiming the amount and damage. theses type of people are black spots for ebusiness, there are lot of honest ways of earning money. No need to cheat the people.

                    I ordered a O2 mobile and made the payement 13th of march and the cellphone has reached me on 16th evening and when I opened the pack I was surprised to see the phone nos and email ids inside the phone on 17th I reported and they have assured me a pickup by their own courier elbee. But after two days they were telling the same story. Then I took a initiative and sent the phone along with all the accessories back to their Bangalore address. The list of executieves who are all deal with me are Rashmi, Rekha, Pravin and finally Kannan all are saying lies.Then they have send the mobile phone to their vendor and finally they confirmed me on 7th noon that the mobile phone was a old one and in the evening again the same MR.Kanan says me it is a new phone and I have damaged the charger usb slot.They are telling the phone nos which were inside was many in nos around 100 nos and finally now they are telling inside is only two nos.

                    Now it is unacceptaable for me and I call them everyday and they never volenterialy contact me, I am searching a way to go to consumer court will some one guide me to file a complaint against the hindushooping

                    There are similar instances with other channel marketing also. I have lost money twice with rediffcom as even the order did not materialize. Hence therafter I am careful.
                    It may be noted that the channel partners foe the original hindushopping is Indiaplaza.in and there are many duplicate sites projecting the name almost with different spelling. One has to be very careful in such occasions.
                    these people are to be shot in a street.to avert any of these frauds.god save our country...

                        Hi Respected forum members,
                        I purchased a Canon A590 IS digital camera through www.thehindushopping.com for Rs. 6195 /- through their online shopping site on 31 Dec '08. Shipping charges of Rs. 225/- were levied and a total of Rs. 6420/- was paid. The product was supposed to be shipped in 12 days. The status of the purchase was 'ReadyToShip' all this time.

                        When I contacted after 16 days after purchase, now they updated the Remarks column saying 'Product is out of stock ' and if they are unable to source it from other vendors, they will refund the amount.

                        This is a clear case for Consumer complaint, I hope. Please advise my next step.

                          I would like to tell everybody about this Online book retailer. I am a lecturer at Jamia millia Islamia and I placed 20 Books order at India plaza.in. These people charged my card and took away 8000 Rs. Instead of sending 20 Books they just send 5 Books and Now they are not Refunding my money or sending books to me.

                          I have also written a mail to them but they are not listening to me. Please somebody tell me what to do.

                          I have also ordered a book recently and tried to contact the number given[protected], which says can be contacted from 9.30 am to 6.00 pm. I contacted today 30.03.2010 from 4.30 pm to 4.45 pm but there was no response. Why do they have to give a number if there is no body to pick up the phone is what I do not understand?

                          Ya, Indiaplaza is never deliverd the goods as per shedual and its all eyewash to custmer i had placed the order through manhaatn credita cards on 28, 08.10 and 18.09, 10 but its tottly failer for delivery and the contect no> is always busy and one no. is keeping on hold, i think i made full from thish organizaions, and prey to god " INDIAPLAZA KO SUNMANTEE DE BHAGWAN" or remove INDIA from Indiaplaza becouse its shame.

                            I placed an order vide no.[protected] with full payment on 6th March '08. Subsequently after 20 days I received an email about shipment of my order ( FRIST FLIGHT COURIER consignment no.F[protected] . I tracked down the consignment through their courier partner FIRST FLIGHT website on 5th April. Though the delivery status was shown as DELIVERED ON 1ST APRIL, unfortunately I did not received the same yet. Then I communicated to FIRST FLIGHT COURIER Bangalore[protected] and I was clearly told that it had been returned from Guwahati on 30th March & delivered it back to INDIAPLAZA on 1st April, since there is no First Flight Courier service in Aizawl, Mizoram. I lodged a complaint to IndiaPlaza which was saying that the consignment was with them and it would be reshipped in 3-4 days. Upto 2nd May the same reply I received from their side ( reship in 3-4 days) whenever I communicated/sent email. I made final contact with FIRST FLIGHT COURIER Bangalore and INDIAPLAZA on 2nd May then I was told from both the end without producing any proof that it had been delivered to the DESTINATION on 1st April 2008.

                            As an Indian citizen, I would like to share this horrible experience with you so that you do not become a PREY of INDIAPLAZA and to abolish completely this type of FRAUD Internet Merchant from indian soil.

                            I have contacted their customer service several times and get blatant lies saying they will deliver it today this is going on for the past 3-4 days.

                            The customer service also suggested - I call up Elbee their partners to know the status - What cheeck

                            Be aware placing orders with India Plaza - your goods will not be delivered - or might have to waste time calling them up

                            I am a regularly shopping online and i nearly used all online shopping portals.
                            As per my experience, i can recommend IndiaPlaza even there are problems.

                            other indian portals is very worst then indianplaza.

                              I purchased a Fisher Price Bead Ball from Indiaplaza. On the site it said MRP is Rs 299 and they are giving a discount of Rs 40 and selling it for Rs 259 + Rs 35 shipping charge (Total cost Rs 294). But when the product arrived I found that MRP (as printed on the box) was only Rs 259.

                              They have cheated me by saying that they are giving a discount of Rs 40 but actually they sold it at MRP + Rs 35 for shipping. In spite of repeated complaints they deny to accept the fact that they have cheated me although they agree that MRP is only Rs 259.

                              Make sure you verify the MRP before you make any purchase and dont trust them.

                                Indiaplaza.in is a online shopping website. I had ordered for a car audio system (model SONY CDX GT470U) worth 5600rs. This order was made on 29th June 2008. I received the package on 1st July 2008. However, they had sent a wrong product. They had sent model SONY GT 270S instead of the one I had ordered for (see above). This is a lower end model costing much less than what I had paid for. I immediately stopped unpacking and informed customer service that there has been a mistake and asked them to take this back and send me the right product. They took a week to collect the product and now it has been 25 calendar days since I made the original order. Still I am fighting with customer service to get my order fulfilled. Whenever I contact, they keep saying that the replacement order has been placed and that it will reach soon. They have charged the credit card and not refunding the money / canceling the order. I am left waiting helplessly for my order to arrive.

                                I hope nobody else has to suffer like me.

                                  Hi,
                                  I have ordered tatasky digicomp + 1000 rupees recharge voucher for 2500/- from indiaplaza.in (because they were recommended by tata sky). I have got the digicomp a month ago but still they have not sent me the 1000 rupees recharge voucher. Whenever I contact customer care, I got a response like... we will resolve it in 2 days or 4 days. the commitment that they have towards there customer is really bad. And please don't ever buy anything from them as there are really good options available there.

                                    I Have Order Approx 200 Gift Certificate in month of March

                                    As its mention on your website that gift certificate validity will be of three months !

                                    I Kept Waiting For The GC For 2 Months after ordering in month of march then i started calling and mailing indiaplaza customer care for sending me my GC code But then also i did not received easily !

                                    After a long follow up i got some GC out of many, and for other GC i was told that i need to give the order number which i have not received.

                                    Then i started maintaining record of which orders GC i have got and which i have not.

                                    After all waiting for so long i got many more GC but with the validity date of next 10 days till one month thats it.. Its should definately come with 3 months validity and there are still some more orders pending which GC are still not Generated even inspite of requesting, screaming, shouting, waiting, begging, calling, mailing, reminding etc

                                    Why should i suffer if there is a technical problem in indiaplaza

                                    In last month "may" I have atleast mailed 50 times to customer care and have called up 100 times on[protected] but still my problems are not over, had to pay std bill as well because they dont call back even if they say server is down, will call you back in 1 hr !

                                    In this last month i have complaint 100 times to all these following executives

                                    I had booked 4 orders of Rs 16223 on India Plaza during his 20% flat cash back offer .However, till date I have not received the any cash back.Suggest all posible ways to take acton against this cheating.
                                    I find the 20% cash back gift certificate from India Plaza on dated 06/03/09.

                                    Non delivery of product. I had ordered for CD roms in january 2009. The log showed the product as having been delivered. However on recipt i found 4 CD roms not delivered . I immediately informed them and they gave me a complaint number too. . That's all to it. I must have spoken to them about a 100 times now and every time they are extremely sorry and they will get back in 2/3 days ( note the language - get back not solve the problem) Worse still, every time you call up, there is a new person and one has to explain the story all over again. Am at a loss now. I am a gold member and have decided and told them this this would be the last time I shop with them.

                                    hello, this is kishor from Andhra pradesh, i have ordered kids perambulator product which is a worth of 3000/- on 22nd August 2009, but till the day i have not received any product . And i have so many times have been calling to this[protected] but just they said ok i will verify later i will call u or call to another - just silly answers... and so many times i have mailed but no reply or reply which indicates just after two days i will intimate but i dont know how many two days have completed. According to their information the product will be delivered within seven working days, then i dont know how many seven days completed after 22nd August. Finally i want to say rather than cheating like this its better to beg ...
                                    India Plaza is a big cheater. I am posting this to give information to others about this fraud online service portal.

                                    I have placed an order 4 months back but they have not procured and not responded also. When I called to customer care they stopped picking the call. They have not returned the money also.

                                    This is the big cheater I have ever seen in my life do not loose your money and time by placing order with this India 420
                                    I am one of the VICTIM...

                                    no refund... no product delivery... no calls.. no response...

                                    They are really Cheats...

                                    someone from India should file an FIR to police... and teach this frauds some lesson...

                                    If no one.. then I will make my move soon... and get this cheats behind the bars...

                                    I have already lost my money to this frauds.. I wont mind loosing some more to teach this frauds some lesson...
                                    I am another one here, I have placed an order a month back, and no one has replied to my mails, and calls. I guess these people are cheating us big time.

                                    I am sure we should go to the consumer court for this.

                                      Sir,

                                      I had placed an order with Indiaplaza.in on 6th May 2008. The shipping instruction was as "Normally ships in 3 days." I had anticipated that it must be trustworthy site for online shopping. I placed the order, which was a pair of D'Damas Earrings, which I wanted to be delivered by 11th May 2008, keeping two more days for Indiaplaza.in as tolerance. On 11th May I called the consignee and wanted to know if the gift has reached and the response was no. Then I called Indiaplaza.in customer care and that time they told me that they will check whether the product is available with their vendor or not. They took four more days for just confirming that the product is not available in the market and it is outdated.

                                      Since I was not satisfied with their response, I requested them to cancel the order. I placed the request for cancellation on 15th May. I received a mail from Kannan S that it will be canceled by two working days and the money will be debited back to my account. After two days, i.e. on 17th May I got another mail from Rashmi that the process has been started and it will take two more days. By 21st May even it was not deposited to my account. See four working days were already running and they didn't even bother to call me to let me know about the status of the process. It was me every time, who was calling them. When I called them they told me their payment department is not having any track of my order cancellation request. Apart from that the care executives are very inefficient. They don't know the value of commitments to their customers. They say they will call me back and let me know about the status and then they forget it. The team managers are even damn inefficient. They also don't have a sense of keeping commitments. Altogether it is a messy situation. Now they are saying it will take two to three more days. By 25th May my statement will get generated and I have to pay Rs.3015/- extra for nothing, for the service, which I haven't even consumed, for the idiotic activities of the care executives and the managers. I suspect the organization is fraud and cheating their customers. Kindly take some initiatives and help the customers in staying away from this kind of cheat organizations.

                                      I agree, INdia Plaza is cheater and fraud. I have the same story like you. I purchased ASUS P750 PDA Phone Rs. 19200/- and it s now 20 days, its nor delivered, nor cancelled.



                                      What should I do now?

                                        I booked one Philips Mixer Grinder and a Prestige Microwave on 23.02.2008.I keep on following about the order through phone and e-mails.Only on 25.03.2008 the company delivered the Mixer Grinder. Subsequently they called me to say that they could not deliver the Microwave as it was out of stock.I fail to understand how the company come to know about the non availability of stocks only after more than one month.On 27.03.2008, when I again enquired about the status of the order they informed me that they will send me an e-mail requesting me to choose another product of same category.After three days they sent the e-mail.I have chosen another item and informed them about it through phone with instruction to refund me the excess amount.They promised to deliver the replacement within two days. ut till date the item is not delivered.
                                        I request my dear friends not to purchase anything from Indiaplaza as they are playing with peoples money and time.They do not have any policy / timeframe regarding shipment and delivery of items.The customer Care representatives have a standard line of reply-" We will get in touch with the concerned department and get back to you within two days".Same is the case with their e-mail reply.Also they offer Discount Vouchers in the name of Gift Vouchers forcing you to keep shopping with them even though you do not want to shop from them.I sincerely suggest online shoppers to shop from reputed online shopping portals like indiatimes or futurebazaar rather than be fooled by portals like indiaplaza which does not have any policy other than playing with the valuable time and money of the common people.
